May 27, 2025auth-js is an isomorphic Javascript library for Supabase Auth.CVE-2025-48370 · Other software · supabase · reported by GitHubLow 2.7
auth-js is an isomorphic Javascript library for Supabase Auth. Prior to version 2.70.0, the library functions getUserById, deleteUser, updateUserById, listFactors and deleteFactor did not require the user supplied values to be valid UUIDs. This could lead to a URL path traversal, resulting in the wrong API function being called. Implementations that follow security best practice and validate user controlled inputs, such as the userId are not affected by this. This issue has been patched in version 2.70.0.

May 9, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pds_core: handle unsupported PDS_CORE_CMD_FW_CONTROL result If the FW doesn't support the CVE-2025-37887 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pds_core: handle unsupported PDS_CORE_CMD_FW_CONTROL result If the FW doesn't support the PDS_CORE_CMD_FW_CONTROL command the driver might at the least print garbage and at the worst crash when the user runs the "devlink dev info" devlink command. This happens because the stack variable fw_list is not 0 initialized which results in fw_list.num_fw_slots being a garbage value from the stack. Then the driver tries to access fw_list.fw_names[i] with i >= ARRAY_SIZE and runs off the end of the array. Fix this by initializing the fw_list and by not failing completely if the devcmd fails because other useful information is printed via devlink dev info even if the devcmd fails.

May 9, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: dsa: mv88e6xxx: fix -ENOENT when deleting VLANs and MST is unsupported Russell King rCVE-2025-37865 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: dsa: mv88e6xxx: fix -ENOENT when deleting VLANs and MST is unsupported Russell King reports that on the ZII dev rev B, deleting a bridge VLAN from a user port fails with -ENOENT: https://lore.kernel.org/netdev/Z_lQXNP0s5-IiJzd@shell.armlinux.org.uk/ This comes from mv88e6xxx_port_vlan_leave() -> mv88e6xxx_mst_put(), which tries to find an MST entry in &chip->msts associated with the SID, but fails and returns -ENOENT as such. But we know that this chip does not support MST at all, so that is not surprising. The question is why does the guard in mv88e6xxx_mst_put() not exit early: if (!sid) return 0; And the answer seems to be simple: the sid comes from vlan.sid which supposedly was previously populated by mv88e6xxx_vtu_get(). But some chip->info->ops->vtu_getnext() implementations do not populate vlan.sid, for example see mv88e6185_g1_vtu_getnext(). In that case, later in mv88e6xxx_port_vlan_leave() we are using a garbage sid which is just residual stack memory. Testing for sid == 0 covers all cases of a non-bridge VLAN or a bridge VLAN mapped to the default MSTI. For some chips, SID 0 is valid and i

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ovl: don't allow datadir only In theory overlayfs could support upper layer directly referring to a data layer, but there's no current use case for this. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: af_unix: fix struct pid leaks in OOB support syzbot reported struct pid leak [1]. Issue is that queue_oob() calls maybe_add_creds() which potentially holds a reference on a pid. But skb->destructor is not set (either directly or by calling unix_scm_to_skb()) This means that subsequent kfree_skb() or consume_skb() would leak this reference. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: mpi3mr: Bad drive in topology results kernel crash When the SAS Transport Layer support is enabled and a device exposed to the OS by the driver fails INQUIRY commands, the driver frees up the memory allocated for an internal HBA port data structure. However, in some places, the reference to the freed memory is not cleared. When the firmware sends the Device Info change event for the same device again, the freed memory is accessed and that leads to memory corruption and OS crash.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gfs2: Check sb_bsize_shift after reading superblock Fuzzers like to scribble over sb_bsize_shift but in reality it's very unlikely that this field would be corrupted on its own. Nevertheless it should be checked to avoid the possibility of messy mount errors due to bad calculations. It's always a fixed value based on the block size so we can just check that it's the expected value. Tested with: mkfs.gfs2 -O -p lock_nolock /dev/vdb for i in 0 -1 64 65 32 33; do gfs2_edit -p sb field sb_bsize_shift $i /dev/vdb mount /dev/vdb /mnt/test && umount /mnt/test done Before this patch we get a withdraw after [ 76.413681] gfs2: fsid=loop0.0: fatal: invalid metadata block [ 76.413681] bh = 19 (type: exp=5, found=4) [ 76.413681] function = gfs2_meta_buffer, file = fs/gfs2/meta_io.c, line = 492 and with UBSAN configured we also get complaints like [ 76.373395] UBSAN: shift-out-of-bounds in fs/gfs2/ops_fstype.c:295:19 [ 76.373815] shift exponent 4294967287 is too large for 64-bit type 'long unsigned int' After the patch, these complaints don't appear, mount fails immediately and

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: don't clobber ret in btrfs_validate_super() Commit 2a9bb78cfd36 ("btrfs: validate system chunk array at btrfs_validate_super()") introduces a call to validate_sys_chunk_array() in btrfs_validate_super(), which clobbers the value of ret set earlier. This has the effect of negating the validity checks done earlier, making it so btrfs could potentially try to mount invalid filesystems.
