  • Apr 17, 2026The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses.CVE-2026-40490 · Other software · AsyncHttpClient · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8

The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. When redirect following is enabled (followRedirect(true)), versions of AsyncHttpClient prior to 3.0.9 and 2.14.5 forward Authorization and Proxy-Authorization headers along with Realm credentials to arbitrary redirect targets regardless of domain, scheme, or port changes. This leaks credentials on cross-domain redirects and HTTPS-to-HTTP downgrades. Additionally, even when stripAuthorizationOnRedirect is set to true, the Realm object containing plaintext credentials is still propagated to the redirect request, causing credential re-generation for Basic and Digest authentication schemes via NettyRequestFactory. An attacker who controls a redirect target (via open redirect, DNS rebinding, or MITM on HTTP) can capture Bearer tokens, Basic auth credentials, or any other Authorization header value. The fix in versions 3.0.9 and 2.14.5 automatically strips Authorization and Proxy-Authorization headers and clears Realm credentials whenever a redirect crosses origin boundaries (different scheme, host, or port) or downgrades from HTTPS to HTTP. For users unab

  • Apr 16, 2026The Silverstripe Assets Module is a required component of Silverstripe Framework.CVE-2026-24749 · Other software · silverstripe · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

The Silverstripe Assets Module is a required component of Silverstripe Framework. In versions prior to 2.4.5 and 3.0.0-rc1 through 3.1.2, images rendered in templates or otherwise accessed via DBFile::getURL() or DBFile::getSourceURL() incorrectly add an access grant to the current session, which bypasses file permissions. This usually happens when creating an image variant, for example using a manipulation method like ScaleWidth() or Convert(). Note that if developers use DBFile directly in the $db configuration for a DataObject class that doesn't subclass File, and if they were setting the visibility of those files to "protected", those files will now need an explicit access grant to be accessed. If developers do not want to explicitly provide access grants for these files in their apps (i.e. they want these files to be accessible by default), they should use the "public" visibility. This issue has been fixed in versions 2.4.5 and 3.1.3.

  • Apr 7, 2026A race condition in the Apache Kafka Java producer client’s buffer pool management can cause messages to be silently delivered to incorrect topics.CVE-2026-35554 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 8.7

A race condition in the Apache Kafka Java producer client’s buffer pool management can cause messages to be silently delivered to incorrect topics. When a produce batch expires due to delivery.timeout.ms while a network request containing that batch is still in flight, the batch’s ByteBuffer is prematurely deallocated and returned to the buffer pool. If a subsequent producer batch—potentially destined for a different topic—reuses this freed buffer before the original network request completes, the buffer contents may become corrupted. This can result in messages being delivered to unintended topics without any error being reported to the producer. Data Confidentiality: Messages intended for one topic may be delivered to a different topic, potentially exposing sensitive data to consumers who have access to the destination topic but not the intended source topic. Data Integrity: Consumers on the receiving topic may encounter unexpected or incompatible messages, leading to deserialization failures, processing errors, and corrupted downstream data. This issue affects Apache Kafka versions ≤ 3.9.1, ≤ 4.0.1, and  ≤ 4.1.1. Kafka users are advised to upgrade to 3.9.2, 4.0.2, 4.1.2, 4

SillyTavern is a locally installed user interface that allows users to interact with text generation large language models, image generation engines, and text-to-speech voice models. Prior to version 1.17.0, in src/endpoints/search.js, the hostname is checked against /^\d+\.\d+\.\d+\.\d+$/. This only matches literal dotted-quad IPv4 (e.g. 127.0.0.1, 10.0.0.1). It does not catch: localhost (hostname, not dotted-quad), [::1] (IPv6 loopback), and DNS names resolving to internal addresses (e.g. localtest.me -> 127.0.0.1). A separate port check (urlObj.port !== '') limits exploitation to services on default ports (80/443), making this lower severity than a fully unrestricted SSRF. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (macsmc) Fix regressions in Apple Silicon SMC hwmon driver The recently added macsmc-hwmon driver contained several critical bugs in its sensor population logic and float conversion routines. Specifically: - The voltage sensor population loop used the wrong prefix ("volt-" instead of "voltage-") and incorrectly assigned sensors to the temperature sensor array (hwmon->temp.sensors) instead of the voltage sensor array (hwmon->volt.sensors). This would lead to out-of-bounds memory access or data corruption when both temperature and voltage sensors were present. - The float conversion in macsmc_hwmon_write_f32() had flawed exponent logic for values >= 2^24 and lacked masking for the mantissa, which could lead to incorrect values being written to the SMC. Fix these issues to ensure correct sensor registration and reliable manual fan control. Confirm that the reported overflow in FIELD_PREP is fixed by declaring macsmc_hwmon_write_f32() as __always_inline for a compile test.

Issue summary: The 'openssl dgst' command-line tool silently truncates input data to 16MB when using one-shot signing algorithms and reports success instead of an error. Impact summary: A user signing or verifying files larger than 16MB with one-shot algorithms (such as Ed25519, Ed448, or ML-DSA) may believe the entire file is authenticated while trailing data beyond 16MB remains unauthenticated. When the 'openssl dgst' command is used with algorithms that only support one-shot signing (Ed25519, Ed448, ML-DSA-44, ML-DSA-65, ML-DSA-87), the input is buffered with a 16MB limit. If the input exceeds this limit, the tool silently truncates to the first 16MB and continues without signaling an error, contrary to what the documentation states. This creates an integrity gap where trailing bytes can be modified without detection if both signing and verification are performed using the same affected codepath. The issue affects only the command-line tool behavior. Verifiers that process the full message using library APIs will reject the signature, so the risk primarily affects workflows that both sign and verify with the affected 'openssl dgst' command. • Jan 23, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: make free_choose_arg_map() resilient to partial allocation free_choose_arg_map() CVE-2026-22991 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: make free_choose_arg_map() resilient to partial allocation free_choose_arg_map() may dereference a NULL pointer if its caller fails after a partial allocation. For example, in decode_choose_args(), if allocation of arg_map->args fails, execution jumps to the fail label and free_choose_arg_map() is called. Since arg_map->size is updated to a non-zero value before memory allocation, free_choose_arg_map() will iterate over arg_map->args and dereference a NULL pointer. To prevent this potential NULL pointer dereference and make free_choose_arg_map() more resilient, add checks for pointers before iterating.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: make decode_pool() more resilient against corrupted osdmaps If the osdmap is (maliciously) corrupted such that the encoded length of ceph_pg_pool envelope is less than what is expected for a particular encoding version, out-of-bounds reads may ensue because the only bounds check that is there is based on that length value. This patch adds explicit bounds checks for each field that is decoded or skipped.

  • Dec 24, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: silence the warning when evicting inode with dioread_nolock When evicting an inode wCVE-2022-50730 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: silence the warning when evicting inode with dioread_nolock When evicting an inode with default dioread_nolock, it could be raced by the unwritten extents converting kworker after writeback some new allocated dirty blocks. It convert unwritten extents to written, the extents could be merged to upper level and free extent blocks, so it could mark the inode dirty again even this inode has been marked I_FREEING. But the inode->i_io_list check and warning in ext4_evict_inode() missing this corner case. Fortunately, ext4_evict_inode() will wait all extents converting finished before this check, so it will not lead to inode use-after-free problem, every thing is OK besides this warning. The WARN_ON_ONCE was originally designed for finding inode use-after-free issues in advance, but if we add current dioread_nolock case in, it will become not quite useful, so fix this warning by just remove this check. ====== WARNING: CPU: 7 PID: 1092 at fs/ext4/inode.c:227 ext4_evict_inode+0x875/0xc60 ...
