Sep 14, 2026Anyquery is an SQL query engine built on top of SQLite.CVE-2026-47253 · Other software · julien040 · reported by GitHubHigh 7.3
Anyquery is an SQL query engine built on top of SQLite. Prior to 0.4.5, the clear_plugin_cache(plugin) SQL scalar function in namespace/other_functions.go passes the caller-controlled plugin parameter through path.Join to os.RemoveAll without rejecting traversal segments. A low-privileged bearer-token holder can invoke the function through the /v1/query HTTP endpoint, causing path.Join to resolve .. segments outside $XDG_CACHE_HOME/anyquery/plugins/ and os.RemoveAll to recursively delete any reachable directory writable by the Anyquery server process. This causes permanent data loss and denial of service without disclosing file contents. This issue is fixed in version 0.4.5.

Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ACPI: pfr_update: fix stack buffer overflow in query_capability() query_capability() copieCVE-2026-89587 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ACPI: pfr_update: fix stack buffer overflow in query_capability() query_capability() copies four ACPI buffer objects returned by the firmware _DSM into fixed-size u8[16] fields in struct pfru_update_cap_info using memcpy with the firmware-supplied length: memcpy(&cap_hdr->code_type, elements[CAP_CODE_TYPE_IDX].buffer.pointer, elements[CAP_CODE_TYPE_IDX].buffer.length); The same pattern repeats for drv_type, platform_id, and oem_id. If the firmware returns buffer.length > 16 for any of these fields, memcpy writes past the destination array. struct pfru_update_cap_info is stack-allocated in pfru_ioctl(). Confirmed with KASAN on 7.2-rc6: three stack-out-of-bounds reports are generated when a DSM returns 64-byte buffers, with writes reaching 44 bytes past the end of cap_hdr's [64, 156) frame window into adjacent stack redzones. Introduce a helper pointer to out_obj->package.elements and use it to validate each buffer length against its destination field size before copying, returning -EINVAL if the firmware supplies an oversized buffer.

Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/query: cap user size passed to copy_struct_to_user io_handle_query_entry() clampsCVE-2026-81009 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/query: cap user size passed to copy_struct_to_user io_handle_query_entry() clamps hdr.size for the inbound copy_from_user() but keeps the original user value as usize. copy_struct_to_user() uses that usize and, when it is larger than the kernel result, clear_user()s the trailing bytes. As hdr.size is a __u32, a query can request nearly 4 GiB of zeroing, including on the error path where res_size stays 0. The interface is reachable without a ring via IORING_REGISTER_QUERY. Reject sizes larger than PAGE_SIZE, as recommended for copy_struct_* interfaces.

Sep 10, 2026The nscd service in the GNU C Library 2.3.4 onwards may crash due to a stack overflow when a malicious DNS server returns too large a response for a DNS queryCVE-2026-89092 · Other software · The GNU C Library · reported by 3ff69d7a-14f2-4f67-a097-88dee7810d18Medium 4.2
The nscd service in the GNU C Library 2.3.4 onwards may crash due to a stack overflow when a malicious DNS server returns too large a response for a DNS query, resulting in degraded DNS resolution for the system. Exploitation of this bug needs a system that has nscd enabled and using an untrusted DNS server for name resolution, with the compromised DNS server being capable of processing records large enough to result in a stack overflow in an nscd thread stack. During experimentation, bind 9 was unable to handle large records, but that could change in future or with a different name server. In typical installations, nscd is executed in an isolated context as its own user without a shell, due to which any compromise of that service is isolated. There is a remote possibility of nscd cache corruption if an attacker manages to get the stack pointer into a desired point in the heap, potentially resulting in other caches in nscd being overwritten with corrupt data through the stack overflow, until the buggy code path eventually results in a crash. Finally, a crash in nscd may result in performance degradation when resolving names, but it does not result in a deni

Sep 10, 2026fs_read_glyphs() in the libXfont2 font-server client (src/fc/fserve.c) indexes the per-character encoding[] array using num_chars from the FS_QueryXBitmaps16 reCVE-2026-59679 · Other software · SUSE · reported by meissner@suse.deCritical 9.2
fs_read_glyphs() in the libXfont2 font-server client (src/fc/fserve.c) indexes the per-character encoding[] array using num_chars from the FS_QueryXBitmaps16 reply, but that array was allocated with a size derived from num_extents in the separate FS_QueryXExtents16 reply. The two CARD32 fields are never cross-checked. A malicious or compromised font server can send a small num_extents (e.g. 1) in the extents reply, then a large num_chars (e.g. 100000) in the bitmaps reply. This causes attacker-controlled out-of-bounds heap read and writes.

An attacker with read access to the log destination, whether the local filesystem, a log aggregation service, or a CI/CD artifact store, could obtain credentials and decryption keys that, if still valid at the time of access, could be used to authenticate to the corresponding Snowflake account or cloud-storage object. Successful exploitation requires read access to the log destination, and impact is bounded by credential lifetime and object scope. The fix is available in Snowflake Connector for Python v4.7.3, Snowflake Go Driver v2.2.0, Snowflake JDBC Driver v4.3.4 (including the snowflake-jdbc-fips and snowflake-jdbc-thin), Snowflake Node.js Driver v3.3.0, Snowflake PHP PDO Driver v4.2.0, and Snowflake ODBC Driver v3.20.0. Users must manually upgrade and should securely delete previously generated diagnostic logs conta

Sep 6, 2026MISP's UiBeta theme collection view (app/View/Themed/UiBeta/Collections/view.ctp) performed a secondary query of member events by UUID without applying the callCVE-2026-86283 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 7.1
MISP's UiBeta theme collection view (app/View/Themed/UiBeta/Collections/view.ctp) performed a secondary query of member events by UUID without applying the caller's access control list (ACL). The CollectionsController::view() action correctly resolved collection element UUIDs through Event::fetchSimpleEvents($user, ...), which enforces per-user event ACL. However, the view template independently re-queried the same UUIDs using only an Event.uuid IN (...) condition, omitting the createEventConditions() authorization filter. Because collection element UUIDs are stored without server-side authorization against the referenced event (CollectionElementsController::add() accepts whatever UUID the collection owner posts), an authenticated user with view access to a collection could retrieve full details of events they are not permitted to read. The exposed data included event identifiers, info, dates, timestamps, creator organization, all event tags, and galaxy clusters (the latter attached via a cluster-scoped rather than event-scoped ACL check). This constitutes an authorization bypass at the presentation layer, allowing horizontal privilege escalation across event boundaries within the

Sep 4, 2026sift (sift.js) 17.1.3 enumerates query keys with for...in, which walks the object prototype chain, and dispatches any matched operator key including $where.CVE-2026-85625 · Other software · crcn · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2
sift (sift.js) 17.1.3 enumerates query keys with for...in, which walks the object prototype chain, and dispatches any matched operator key including $where. The $where operation compiles a string value into a function using new Function unless CSP_ENABLED is set (not set by default). As a result, if a prototype-pollution primitive elsewhere in the process sets Object.prototype.$where to a malicious string, even benign filter calls such as sift({}) execute arbitrary JavaScript. Additionally, passing an untrusted query object containing a string $where directly to sift results in code execution under the default configuration.

Sep 3, 2026R2R through 3.6.6 contains a SQL injection vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to inject SQL predicates into the chunks search query by manipulaCVE-2026-82527 · Other software · SciPhi-AI · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
R2R through 3.6.6 contains a SQL injection vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to inject SQL predicates into the chunks search query by manipulating the filter key parameter in the retrieval search endpoint. Attackers can exploit the direct interpolation of filter keys into the SQL WHERE clause without parameterization or escaping to perform time-based and boolean-based data exfiltration from the application database.

Sep 3, 2026MISP contains a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the event attribute filtering query builder.CVE-2026-85227 · Other software · misp · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 6.1
MISP contains a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the event attribute filtering query builder. The taggedAttributes and galaxyAttachedAttributes URL parameters were inserted into the query-builder rules without HTML escaping before being serialized as JSON and embedded inside a <script> element. Because JsonTool::encode() uses JSON_UNESCAPED_SLASHES, an attacker-controlled value containing a closing </script> sequence could terminate the surrounding script element and inject arbitrary HTML or JavaScript. For example, a specially crafted viewEventAttributes URL could contain malicious content in one of the affected filter parameters. An attacker could exploit the vulnerability by convincing an authenticated MISP user to follow a crafted URL. Successful exploitation would execute attacker-controlled JavaScript in the security context of the MISP instance and with the privileges of the victim's authenticated browser session. This could allow access to information available to the victim, modification of data through authenticated requests, or other actions permitted by the victim's MISP permissions. The vulnerability is addressed by applying HTML escaping wit
