The Zypento Blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Table of Contents block in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.6. This is due to the front-end TOC rendering script reading heading text via `innerText` and inserting it into the page using `innerHTML` without proper sanitization. • Apr 22, 2026WPMK Block: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-4125 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The WPMK Block plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'class' shortcode attribute in all versions up to and including 1.0.1. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied shortcode attributes. • Apr 10, 2026GreenShift - Animation and Page Builder Blocks: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-4895 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The GreenShift - Animation and Page Builder Blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 12.8.9 This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the gspb_greenShift_block_script_assets() function. The function uses str_replace() to insert 'fetchpriority="high"' before 'src=' attributes when processing greenshift-blocks/image blocks with the disablelazy attribute enabled. Because this replacement operates on the entire HTML string without parsing, contributors can inject the string 'src=' into HTML attribute values (such as class attributes). When the str_replace executes, the double quotes in the replacement string break out of the attribute context, allowing injection of malicious HTML attributes like onfocus with JavaScript payloads. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

  • Apr 8, 2026WP Blockade: Missing AuthorizationCVE-2026-3480 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5

The WP Blockade plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to and including 0.9.14. The plugin registers an admin_post action hook 'wp-blockade-shortcode-render' that maps to the render_shortcode_preview() function. This function lacks any capability check (current_user_can()) and nonce verification, allowing any authenticated user to execute arbitrary WordPress shortcodes. The function takes a user-supplied 'shortcode' parameter from $_GET, passes it through stripslashes(), and directly executes it via do_shortcode(). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes, which could lead to information disclosure, privilege escalation, or other impacts depending on what shortcodes are registered on the site (e.g., shortcodes from other plugins that display sensitive data, perform actions, or include files).

This is due to the method performing wp_insert_post() and update_post_meta() calls to create a sharing configuration without verifying the current user has administrator-level capabilities. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to trigger the creation of a published wpzoom-sharing configuration post with default sharing button settings, which causes social sharing buttons to be automatically injected into all post content on the frontend via the the_content filter.

  • Mar 6, 2026Greenshift – animation and page builder blocks: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-2371 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Greenshift – animation and page builder blocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 12.8.3. This is due to missing authorization and post status validation in the `gspb_el_reusable_load()` AJAX handler. The handler accepts an arbitrary `post_id` parameter and renders the content of any `wp_block` post without checking `current_user_can('read_post', $post_id)` or verifying the post status. Combined with the nonce being exposed to unauthenticated users on any public page using the `[wp_reusable_render]` shortcode with `ajax="1"`, this makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to retrieve the rendered HTML content of private, draft, or password-protected reusable blocks.

  • Feb 18, 2026Gutenberg Blocks with AI by Kadence WP: Missing AuthorizationCVE-2026-2633 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Gutenberg Blocks with AI by Kadence WP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 3.6.1. This is due to a missing capability check in the `process_image_data_ajax_callback()` function which handles the `kadence_import_process_image_data` AJAX action. The function's authorization check via `verify_ajax_call()` only validates `edit_posts` capability but fails to check for the `upload_files` capability. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to upload arbitrary images from remote URLs to the WordPress Media Library, bypassing the standard WordPress capability restriction that prevents Contributors from uploading files.

  • Feb 18, 2026Gutenberg Blocks with AI by Kadence WP: Server-Side Request ForgeryCVE-2026-1857 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Gutenberg Blocks with AI by Kadence WP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 3.6.1. This is due to insufficient validation of the `endpoint` parameter in the `get_items()` function of the GetResponse REST API handler. The endpoint's permission check only requires `edit_posts` capability (Contributor role) rather than `manage_options` (Administrator). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to make server-side requests to arbitrary endpoints on the configured GetResponse API server, retrieving sensitive data such as contacts, campaigns, and mailing lists using the site's stored API credentials. The stored API key is also leaked in the request headers.
