Oct 9, 2026A missing authorization check in the illumos IP management daemon (ipmgmtd) allows a local user to change the persistent IP multipathing (IPMP) configuration.CVE-2026-104117 · Other software · illumos · reported by 0ca53633-f0b5-4853-ba72-e0a2e62000d0Low 1.9
A missing authorization check in the illumos IP management daemon (ipmgmtd) allows a local user to change the persistent IP multipathing (IPMP) configuration. The ipmgmtd door dispatch table in usr/src/cmd/cmd-inet/lib/ipmgmtd/ipmgmt_door.c does not require the solaris.network.interface.config authorization for the IPMGMT_CMD_IPMP_UPDATE command, although its handler, ipmgmt_ipmp_update_handler(), writes to the persistent ipadm configuration when the IPMGMT_PERSIST flag is set. An unprivileged local user can therefore add interfaces to, or remove them from, existing IPMP groups in the stored configuration. The running configuration is not changed; the modification takes effect when the stored configuration is next applied, such as at boot, and may disrupt network connectivity. The flaw has existed since 2021 (illumos-gate commit a73be61a), and affects any illumos distribution prior to illumos-gate commit e8d3efa1.

Oct 9, 2026In Apache CXF, the parser for multipart/MTOM attachment part headers did not fully enforce the configured attachment-max-header-size (default 300 characters) anCVE-2026-107937 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.5
In Apache CXF, the parser for multipart/MTOM attachment part headers did not fully enforce the configured attachment-max-header-size (default 300 characters) and attachment-headers-max-count (default 500) limits. The size limit was applied only to each physical line, not to a header value built from continuation lines or to the combined values of a repeated header. The count limit was checked against the number of distinct header names, not the total number of header lines. A remote, unauthenticated attacker could send a multipart request with very large folded or repeated part headers. The server would then allocate memory without bound, causing a denial of service. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue.

Sep 29, 2026Unverified ownership in Barman snapshot backup deletion allows a principal who can write the backup catalog to cause Barman to delete unrelated cloud snapshots.CVE-2026-93853 · Other software · EnterpriseDB · reported by 20be33e2-bf35-4d13-8fad-18bd2f3e3659High 7.2
Unverified ownership in Barman snapshot backup deletion allows a principal who can write the backup catalog to cause Barman to delete unrelated cloud snapshots. When a snapshot backup is deleted, either explicitly or by retention policy enforcement, Barman reads the snapshot identifiers from the backup.info file and passes them to the cloud provider's delete API using Barman's own credentials, without verifying that the snapshots belong to that backup. An attacker who can overwrite backup.info but lacks snapshot delete permissions can substitute the identifiers of other snapshots, causing Barman to delete any snapshot its cloud identity can reach on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud. Exploitation requires a deployment where the principal that writes the backup catalog is separate from the identity Barman uses to delete snapshots. Barman versions from 3.4.0 (Google Cloud), 3.6.0 (Azure), and 3.7.0 (AWS) up to and including 3.20.0 are affected. The issue is fixed in Barman 3.20.1.

Sep 29, 2026Apache Polaris allows an authenticated principal with permission to create or update Iceberg table properties to set FileIO client settings such as s3.endpoint CVE-2026-97395 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 8.1
Apache Polaris allows an authenticated principal with permission to create or update Iceberg table properties to set FileIO client settings such as s3.endpoint in table metadata. In versions < 1.8.0, when Polaris performs server-side Iceberg operations, including commits and purges, it may use those settings to construct its (server-side) FileIO client. If the catalog storage configuration does not override the endpoint, Polaris can send storage requests to a host chosen by the table writer, using credentials scoped to the operation. This can redirect server-side storage traffic and expose request authentication material to the chosen endpoint. Deployments are affected when table writers are not trusted to configure server-side storage endpoints.

Sep 18, 2026ArcadeDB before 26.9.1 (com.arcadedb:arcadedb-engine <= 26.8.1) fails to bind the authenticated principal onto the DatabaseAsyncTransaction async worker threadsCVE-2026-93596 · Other software · ArcadeData · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3
ArcadeDB before 26.9.1 (com.arcadedb:arcadedb-engine <= 26.8.1) fails to bind the authenticated principal onto the DatabaseAsyncTransaction async worker threads used by the parallel edge-connect phase of POST /api/v1/batch/{database}. Because those workers have no current user, LocalDatabase.checkPermissionsOnFile returns early and allows the write, bypassing per-type CREATE_RECORD/UPDATE_RECORD ACL enforcement. In deployments that rely on per-type or per-group ACLs, an authenticated low-privilege user holding CREATE_RECORD on an edge type E but with CREATE_RECORD/UPDATE_RECORD revoked on a vertex type V can submit a graph edge-load batch request (with parallelFlush at its default value of true) and durably append edges to protected vertices of type V by writing records into V's <V>_out_edges/<V>_in_edges buckets, resulting in unauthorized modification of graph adjacency. Setting parallelFlush=false causes the request to be correctly rejected. This is an incomplete fix of GHSA-c23x-pqcj-7hfm, which bound the principal only on the HTTP handler thread.

Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipack: ipoctal: fix UAF, null-ptr-deref, and use-after-free in cleanup on remove Three issCVE-2026-93050 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipack: ipoctal: fix UAF, null-ptr-deref, and use-after-free in cleanup on remove Three issues arise when the device is removed while a tty session is still active: 1. UAF of struct ipoctal: the remove callback frees ipoctal via kfree() while tty ops may still access it. Fix by introducing kref-based lifetime management — kref is taken in install() when a tty is opened and released in cleanup() when the tty is finally destroyed; remove() uses kref_put() instead of kfree(). 2. NULL dereference in ipoctal_write_tty(): __ipoctal_remove() frees xmit_buf via tty_port_free_xmit_buf() while a userspace process may still hold the tty fd and call write(). Fix by checking for NULL xmit_buf in ipoctal_write_tty(). 3. UAF in ipoctal_cleanup(): ipack_put_carrier(ipoctal->dev) dereferences ipoctal->dev after the ipack_device has been freed by ipack_device_del(). Fix by caching ipoctal->carrier_owner during probe() and calling module_put() on the cached pointer directly in cleanup(), avoiding any access to ipoctal->dev. Also introduce a "removed" flag in struct ipoctal, set at the start of

Sep 16, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: arm64: Make VNCR invalidation participate in MMU invalidation retry A VNCR TLB invaliCVE-2026-89916 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.3
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: arm64: Make VNCR invalidation participate in MMU invalidation retry A VNCR TLB invalidation can occur on one vcpu while another vcpu is faulting in this same page. Without correctly handling this, we can end up with the following scenario: - vcpu A walks the PTs to translate VNCR - before vcpu A is able to grab the MMU lock to insert the TLB, vcpu B updates the S1 PTs with an invalid entry, and issues a TLBI S1E2 for this VA - vcpu A inserts the TLB for something that is now invalid This isn't a new problem, and we manage S2 by having the MMU notifier to bump up mmu_invalidate_seq on invalidation so that the fault can be replayed. We can perform something similar here, and extend invalidate_vncr_va() to update the same counter, clearly indicating that the context has changed under our feet. This is safe as the invalidation always happen while holding the MMU lock for write, and that we sample the sequence number before walking S1.

Sep 16, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: avoid divide by zero in rt6_multipath_rebalance rt6_multipath_rebalance() calculatesCVE-2026-89790 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: avoid divide by zero in rt6_multipath_rebalance rt6_multipath_rebalance() calculates the total eligible nexthop weight in one pass and programs upper bounds in a second pass. Since RTM_NEWROUTE is RTNL-free, a concurrent ignore_routes_with_linkdown update can make the first pass return zero while the second sees an eligible nexthop, causing rt6_upper_bound_set() to divide by zero. UBSAN: division-overflow in net/ipv6/route.c:4845:17 Oops: divide error: 0000 [#1] SMP KASAN NOPTI rt6_upper_bound_set() net/ipv6/route.c:4845 rt6_multipath_rebalance() fib6_add_rt2node() ip6_route_multipath_add() inet6_rtm_newroute() Skip upper-bound calculation when the first pass reports a zero total. This respects the lock-free performance considerations here and solves insecure scenarios.

Sep 15, 2026Decidim is a participatory democracy framework.CVE-2026-44282 · Other software · decidim · reported by GitHubMedium 4.8
Decidim is a participatory democracy framework. Prior to 0.32.0, a low-privilege process-scoped administrator or election editor with question-management rights can store HTML or script-bearing content in question.body. The question_title helper returns the translatable question body through html_safe without a sanitization boundary, causing stored script execution when visitors open public election pages or voting booth screens. The persisted script executes in visitors' browsers. The vulnerability is fixed in 0.32.0.
