In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm: Make .remove and .shutdown HW shutdown consistent Drivers' .remove and .shutdown callbacks are executed on different code paths. The former is called when a device is removed from the bus, while the latter is called at system shutdown time to quiesce the device. This means that some overlap exists between the two, because both have to take care of properly shutting down the hardware. But currently the logic used in these two callbacks isn't consistent in msm drivers, which could lead to kernel panic. For example, on .remove the component is deleted and its .unbind callback leads to the hardware being shutdown but only if the DRM device has been marked as registered. That check doesn't exist in the .shutdown logic and this can lead to the driver calling drm_atomic_helper_shutdown() for a DRM device that hasn't been properly initialized. A situation like this can happen if drivers for expected sub-devices fail to probe, since the .bind callback will never be executed. If that is the case, drm_atomic_helper_shutdown() will attempt to take mutexes that are only initialized if drm_mode_config_init() is ca

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drivers/rapidio/rio_cm.c: prevent possible heap overwrite In riocm_cdev_ioctl(RIO_CM_CHAN_SEND) -> cm_chan_msg_send() -> riocm_ch_send() cm_chan_msg_send() checks that userspace didn't send too much data but riocm_ch_send() failed to check that userspace sent sufficient data. The result is that riocm_ch_send() can write to fields in the rio_ch_chan_hdr which were outside the bounds of the space which cm_chan_msg_send() allocated. Address this by teaching riocm_ch_send() to check that the entire rio_ch_chan_hdr was copied in from userspace.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/ism: add release function for struct device According to device_release() in /drivers/base/core.c, a device without a release function is a broken device and must be fixed. The current code directly frees the device after calling device_add() without waiting for other kernel parts to release their references. Thus, a reference could still be held to a struct device, e.g., by sysfs, leading to potential use-after-free issues if a proper release function is not set.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: hns3: fix oops when unload drivers paralleling When unload hclge driver, it tries to disable sriov first for each ae_dev node from hnae3_ae_dev_list. If user unloads hns3 driver at the time, because it removes all the ae_dev nodes, and it may cause oops. But we can't simply use hnae3_common_lock for this. Because in the process flow of pci_disable_sriov(), it will trigger the remove flow of VF, which will also take hnae3_common_lock. To fixes it, introduce a new mutex to protect the unload process.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: i2c: ds90ub9x3: Fix extra fwnode_handle_put() The ub913 and ub953 drivers call fwnode_handle_put(priv->sd.fwnode) as part of their remove process, and if the driver is removed multiple times, eventually leads to put "overflow", possibly causing memory corruption or crash. The fwnode_handle_put() is a leftover from commit 905f88ccebb1 ("media: i2c: ds90ub9x3: Fix sub-device matching"), which changed the code related to the sd.fwnode, but missed removing these fwnode_handle_put() calls.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
