Sep 15, 2026Kuma is a modern Envoy-based service mesh that can run on every cloud across both Kubernetes and VMs.CVE-2026-50166 · Other software · kumahq · reported by GitHubMedium 5.5
Kuma is a modern Envoy-based service mesh that can run on every cloud across both Kubernetes and VMs. Prior to 2.7.26, 2.9.16, 2.11.14, 2.12.11, and 2.13.7, a kumactl profile manually configured for an HTTPS control plane without --ca-cert-file disables TLS peer verification and sends API tokens over the unverified connection. An attacker on the network path can intercept user or administrator API tokens and act against the control plane as the compromised user. The default local profile is unaffected because it uses plain HTTP. This issue is fixed in versions 2.7.26, 2.9.16, 2.11.14, 2.12.11, and 2.13.7.

Sep 15, 2026AI Engine – The Chatbot, AI Framework & MCP for: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-89141 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5
The AI Engine – The Chatbot, AI Framework & MCP for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.7 via the 'mediaId' parameter due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to access and retrieve the transcribed contents of private audio attachments belonging to other users, including Administrators, via a supplied attachment ID. This vulnerability requires the Public API module to be enabled in the plugin settings; when disabled, the REST route is absent and the endpoint returns HTTP 404.

Sep 14, 2026On affected platforms running Arista EOS with both 802.1X port authentication and the RADIUS proxy feature configured with dynamic authorization, a low-privilegCVE-2026-73449 · Other software · Arista Networks · reported by psirt@arista.comMedium 5.9
On affected platforms running Arista EOS with both 802.1X port authentication and the RADIUS proxy feature configured with dynamic authorization, a low-privileged attacker on an adjacent network segment who induces a RADIUS packet through a configured RADIUS proxy client can prevent RADIUS dynamic authorization messages, including Change-of-Authorization (CoA) and Disconnect-Requests as defined in RFC 5176, from being applied to locally authenticated 802.1X sessions. This allows an endpoint session that a RADIUS server or network access control system has ordered disconnected to remain authorized on the network. Both 802.1X port authentication with dynamic authorization and RADIUS proxy with dynamic authorization must be explicitly configured for a deployment to be exposed to this issue. This issue was discovered internally by Arista, and the company is not aware of any malicious exploitation of this vulnerability in customer networks.

Sep 14, 2026LangBot's plugin runtime (pip package langbot_plugin) through 0.4.17 starts a debug WebSocket server on 0.0.0.0:5401 (/plugin/ws) whose authentication is gated CVE-2026-90938 · Other software · langbot-app · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.8
LangBot's plugin runtime (pip package langbot_plugin) through 0.4.17 starts a debug WebSocket server on 0.0.0.0:5401 (/plugin/ws) whose authentication is gated on plugin_debug_key, which defaults to an empty string and is never set by the upstream repository, Docker image, or docker-compose (which additionally publishes port 5401 to the host); the key check is therefore skipped entirely. Any remote attacker able to reach the port can register an arbitrary "debug plugin" without credentials. Because events are broadcast to all initialized plugins without filtering, the attacker's plugin receives the full context of every IM message event (including private chats, message chains, and user/sender IDs in plaintext) and can inject forged replies, send messages as any configured bot, enumerate bot UUIDs, invoke configured LLM models, read knowledge-base contents, and register malicious tools that feed every user's LLM pipeline. Registering with "prod_mode": true causes later legitimate installations of a plugin with the same author/name to be rejected, resulting in persistent denial of service. No patched version was available at the time of publication.

Sep 11, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: tun: bound receive headroom tun_get_user() uses tun->align both as skb headroom and wCVE-2026-81000 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: tun: bound receive headroom tun_get_user() uses tun->align both as skb headroom and when choosing how much packet data to keep linear. OVS can propagate an oversized headroom request from another port to TUN or TAP. When align is larger than the usable space in a one-page skb head, SKB_MAX_HEAD(align) underflows and the result becomes negative when stored in good_linear. That value later wraps when assigned to the size_t linear variable, and tun_alloc_skb() can place skb->data outside the allocated head. Bound the headroom stored by TUN to the one-page skb-head budget and the largest non-sentinel 16-bit skb header offset. Leave one linear byte for raw TUN and a complete Ethernet header for TAP, including NET_IP_ALIGN. Also pull the raw-TUN protocol byte and the TAP Ethernet header before accessing them, so these checks remain safe for nonlinear skbs supplied by other allocation paths.

Sep 10, 2026Renovate is a dependency update automation tool.CVE-2026-88887 · Other software · renovatebot · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2
Renovate is a dependency update automation tool. When listing tags/digests for a container image, Renovate follows pagination links supplied by the remote registry in the HTTP Link header and attaches the registry credentials to the follow-up request without verifying that the pagination URL has the same origin as the original registry. A malicious or compromised container registry can therefore specify a Link header pointing to an attacker-controlled host and receive the credentials Renovate uses for that registry. Exploitation requires that the target has container (Docker) dependencies and is already interacting with the malicious or compromised registry. This is fixed in Renovate 44.11.2 (npm and renovate/renovate images), Mend Renovate CE/EE 15.4.0 and the mend-renovate-enterprise-edition Helm chart 10.4.0; the same-origin check can be disabled with RENOVATE_X_DOCKER_PAGINATION_ALLOW_CROSS_ORIGIN.

Sep 10, 2026Renovate is a dependency update automation tool.CVE-2026-88886 · Other software · renovatebot · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.5
Renovate is a dependency update automation tool. In versions before 44.14.7 (and in Mend Renovate CE/EE distributions before 15.4.0, and the mend-renovate-enterprise-edition Helm chart before 10.4.0), the manager/gradle-wrapper module does not escape the distributionUrl value read from a repository's gradle/wrapper/gradle-wrapper.properties file before invoking the Gradle Wrapper CLI. In self-hosted deployments configured with binarySource=docker and allowedUnsafeExecutions=['gradleWrapper', ...], a repository that supplies a crafted distributionUrl (for example, appending a shell metacharacter and command) can cause arbitrary commands to be executed as the Renovate user when Renovate processes a Gradle Wrapper update. The issue is fixed in Renovate 44.14.7; as a workaround, remove 'gradleWrapper' from allowedUnsafeExecutions.

Sep 10, 2026Renovate is a dependency update automation tool.CVE-2026-88884 · Other software · renovatebot · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9
Renovate is a dependency update automation tool. In versions before 44.3.1 (and Mend Renovate CE/EE images before 15.4.0, mend-renovate-ce Helm chart before 15.4.0, mend-renovate-enterprise-edition Helm chart before 10.4.0), digest updates are not subject to the internal `minimumReleaseAge` (stability age) checks. When a repository configures `minimumReleaseAge` and has dependencies with `updateType=digest` — for example GitHub Actions pinned to a commit SHA with a floating tag, Docker images, Go modules or NuGet packages — Renovate will still open a pull request for a newly published digest, marked only with a pending `renovate/stability-days` status check. A newly published, potentially malicious dependency version can therefore cause a PR to be raised and CI workflows to potentially run before the configured minimum release age has elapsed, which is precisely what the Minimum Release Age control is intended to prevent. The issue is fixed in Renovate 44.3.1; as a workaround, digest updates can be disabled or gated behind `dependencyDashboardApproval`.

Sep 10, 2026Renovate is an automated dependency update tool.CVE-2026-88883 · Other software · renovatebot · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.3
Renovate is an automated dependency update tool. In versions before 44.14.4 (and Mend Renovate CE/EE images before 15.4.0 and the mend-renovate-enterprise-edition Helm chart before 10.4.0), log sanitisation for TLS private keys used for Mutual TLS was incomplete. While the value of hostRules[].httpsPrivateKey was redacted in the field itself, the same private key value was not redacted if it also appeared elsewhere — for example in another configuration option or in a log message under a key other than httpsPrivateKey — causing the full private key to be written to Renovate's logs in cleartext. This affects deployments that configure Mutual TLS through hostRules[].httpsPrivateKey without passing the value through the documented `secrets` configuration. Anyone able to read the resulting logs can recover the private key. The issue is fixed in Renovate 44.14.4, which redacts any value supplied as hostRules[].httpsPrivateKey wherever it appears in the logs; as a workaround, supply the key via the `secrets` configuration.

Sep 10, 2026Renovate is a dependency update automation tool.CVE-2026-88882 · Other software · renovatebot · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2
Renovate is a dependency update automation tool. In versions before 44.11.2 (and Mend Renovate CE/EE images and charts before 15.4.0, and mend-renovate-enterprise-edition helm chart before 10.4.0), when listing new package versions from a NuGet registry Renovate follows pagination URLs supplied by the registry in the HTTP `Link` header without verifying that the target has the same origin as the configured registry. Registry credentials are attached to the request for the 'next' page, so a malicious or compromised NuGet registry can return a `Link` header pointing at an attacker-controlled server and cause Renovate to send the registry credentials to that server. Exploitation requires the remote registry to be malicious or compromised; such a registry would normally already have received the credentials on the initial request, so the issue primarily allows the credentials to be delivered to an additional, attacker-chosen host. The fix restricts pagination to the same origin; the previous behaviour can be re-enabled with the RENOVATE_X_NUGET_PAGINATION_ALLOW_CROSS_ORIGIN option.

Sep 10, 2026Renovate, a dependency update tool, follows pagination links supplied by the GitHub server in the HTTP `Link` header when interacting with GitHub.com, GitHub EnCVE-2026-88881 · Other software · renovatebot · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2
Renovate, a dependency update tool, follows pagination links supplied by the GitHub server in the HTTP `Link` header when interacting with GitHub.com, GitHub Enterprise Cloud, or GitHub Enterprise Server, and sends the credentials configured for that host to the URL given as the 'next' page. Because the pagination URL is not validated against the host originally contacted, a malicious or compromised GitHub server can return a `Link` header pointing to an attacker-controlled host and cause Renovate to disclose those credentials to it. Exploitation requires that the GitHub server Renovate talks to (as the repository host or as a datasource such as github-releases, github-tags, or git-refs) is already malicious or compromised. The issue is fixed in renovate 44.11.3 (npm and renovate/renovate container images), Mend Renovate CE/EE images and the mend-renovate-ce helm chart 15.4.0, and the mend-renovate-enterprise-edition helm chart 10.4.0. There is no workaround; the pre-existing RENOVATE_X_REBASE_PAGINATION_LINKS option disables the new host check and should only be used with servers that intentionally use different pagination hosts.

Sep 9, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kcov: fix data corruption and race conditions on PREEMPT_RT syzbot is reporting KCOV stateCVE-2026-80916 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kcov: fix data corruption and race conditions on PREEMPT_RT syzbot is reporting KCOV state corruption on PREEMPT_RT kernels, for the temporary storage used for saving/restoring remote KCOV state is currently allocated as the per-CPU area. On PREEMPT_RT kernels, softirq handlers run as preemptible task threads (e.g., ksoftirqd). If a softirq context preempts a task running a remote KCOV session, it safely saves the task's state into the per-CPU area. However, if that softirq thread is subsequently preempted by a higher- priority softirq thread on the same CPU, the second softirq will overwrite the same per-CPU area, permanently destroying the original task's KCOV state. Fix this data corruption by moving the temporary storage from the per-CPU area to the per-thread area. Since each softirq thread now owns its own task context, nested softirq preemption no longer causes data overwrites. Note that while the temporary storage is now on a per-thread basis, the per-CPU kcov_percpu_data.lock must be retained, for we need to ensure that kcov_remote_start() and kcov_remote_stop() operate atomically without racing again

The WPBot – AI ChatBot for Live Support, Lead Generation, AI Services plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'conversation' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 8.7.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nilfs2: reject invalid block index in GC ioctl Syzbot reported list corruption caused by a double list_add_tail() call on bh->b_assoc_buffers within nilfs_lookup_dirty_data_buffers(). Analysis revealed that the root cause was the insertion of a page/folio with a page index of ULONG_MAX into the page cache via the GC ioctl. filemap_get_folios_tag(), called by nilfs_lookup_dirty_data_buffers(), repeatedly detects a dirty folio with a page index of ULONG_MAX due to index wrap-around, leading to duplicate processing of dirty buffers. As a preparatory step, the GC ioctl loads the page/folio of the block to be moved during GC and inserts it into the page cache based on information in the nilfs_vdesc structure passed as an argument. Normally, this does not cause issues because the user-space GC library configures the nilfs_vdesc structure properly. However, since there is no range check on the parameters determining the page index, a request with artificially crafted parameters -- such as those generated by Syzbot -- can result in a page/folio being inserted with a page index of ULONG_MAX, triggering the above probl

Robots::Validate versions from 0.3.2 before 0.3.11 for Perl allow unbounded outbound DNS queries per validation via a forward-confirmation loop that does not bound the names it queries. _check_dns issues one PTR query for the client address, keeps the returned names matching the rule's domain, and issues a forward query for each until one resolves back to that address. Nothing bounds that list, and a client controls the reverse zone for its own address, so it chooses how many names the PTR answer holds. Net::DNS refetches a truncated answer over TCP by default, so the 512-byte UDP payload does not cap it either. Any client whose User-Agent matches a rule with a domain reaches _check_dns. Each forward name is distinct and client-chosen, so every query misses the local cache and is resolved against the authoritative servers for that domain. The queries are synchronous, so the caller is held until all of them answer or time out.

Sep 1, 2026BetterDocs – AI Documentation, Knowledge Base, Docs, Wikis, FAQ with Chatbot: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-75980 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The BetterDocs – AI Documentation, Knowledge Base, Docs, Wikis, FAQ with Chatbot plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Heading 'id' Attribute in Post Content in all versions up to, and including, 4.8.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The exploit survives wp_kses_post because entity-encoded quotes in a heading id attribute are treated as a single legitimate attribute value at save time; the dangerous payload only materialises after process_content_for_toc() calls html_entity_decode() on the stored content and the broken id is extracted by a lazy regex before being echoed unescaped into the Table of Contents output.

The Support Genix – Helpdesk, AI Chatbot, Knowledge Base & Customer Support Ticketing System plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass leading to Administrator Account Takeover in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.52 via the `guest_ticket_login()` function and its `p` parameter. This is due to the site-wide AES-256-CBC encryption key being derived from only three two-digit `wp_rand(10, 99)` values and a Unix timestamp via `md5()` — yielding approximately 19.5 bits of entropy — combined with a deterministic IV derived from the password, no authentication tag on the ciphertext, and no capability check, nonce, or session validation on the publicly reachable `/sgnix/?p=<token>` endpoint. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, who can obtain a single legitimate guest ticket token as a known-plaintext oracle and bound the plugin activation timestamp, to exhaust the ~729,000-candidate keyspace entirely offline, recover the site-wide encryption key, and forge a self-consistent `{ticket_id, ticket_user}` token targeting any administrator-owned ticket. Submitting the forged token to the unprotected endpoint causes `w

Aug 28, 2026Protego is a pure-Python robots.txt parser with support for modern conventions.CVE-2026-55520 · Other software · scrapy · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
Protego is a pure-Python robots.txt parser with support for modern conventions. Prior to 0.6.2, protego._urlpattern._URLPattern._prepare_pattern_for_regex translates every asterisk in an Allow or Disallow directive into a lazy regular-expression wildcard, so a directive containing many asterisks creates exponential backtracking. After protego.Protego.parse processes a crafted robots.txt file, protego.Protego.can_fetch can spend an attacker-controlled period matching a near-miss URL and deny service to the crawler. The vulnerable path is src/protego/_urlpattern.py in the _URLPattern match logic. This issue is fixed in version 0.6.2.

Aug 28, 2026When IMAP compression is enabled, the same compression state is reused across responses in a session, so response sizes depend on both attacker-supplied mail anCVE-2026-40203 · Other software · Open-Xchange GmbH · reported by security@open-xchange.comLow 3.7
When IMAP compression is enabled, the same compression state is reused across responses in a session, so response sizes depend on both attacker-supplied mail and other mail in the same mailbox. An attacker that can send mail to a user and can also observe the sizes of that user's IMAP traffic can confirm whether the body of a small message matches a guessed text. Recovery of arbitrary unknown content was not demonstrated, but the attack can disclose whether a secret-like message body matches a candidate. Disable IMAP compression. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vmwgfx: validate external BO copy bounds for both stride paths vmw_external_bo_copy() trusts caller-supplied offsets, strides, and heights and operates on imported dma-buf vmaps: - The equal-stride memcpy() bound was clamped after subtracting the offsets from dst_size and src_size; an offset larger than the BO size wraps the unsigned subtraction to a huge value and the resulting memcpy() runs off the end of the vmap. dst_stride * height is also a u32 multiplication that can overflow. - The non-equal-stride row-by-row path had no bound at all. The loop touches bytes through offset + (height - 1) * stride + width_in_bytes, with only a WARN_ON(dst_stride < width_in_bytes), and could likewise step past the end of either mapping. The offsets and strides are derived from STDU/SOU plane state, so a configured CRTC submitting a crafted atomic commit on an imported framebuffer can reach this path. Validate the exact row-copy endpoint against each BO's size up front using check_mul_overflow() and check_add_overflow(). Use the bulk memcpy() path only when width_in_bytes covers the w

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hfsplus: Add a sanity check for btree node size Syzbot reported an uninit-value bug in [1] with a corrupted HFS+ image, during the file system mounting process, specifically while loading the catalog, a corrupted node_size value of 1 caused the rec_off argument passed to hfs_bnode_read_u16() (within hfs_bnode_find()) to be excessively large. Consequently, the function failed to return a valid value to initialize the off variable, triggering the bug [1]. Every node starts from BTree node descriptor: struct hfs_bnode_desc. So, the size of node cannot be lesser than that. However, technical specification declares that: "The node size (which is expressed in bytes) must be power of two, from 512 through 32,768, inclusive." A NoSQL/expression injection weakness exists in the LINQ-to-aggregation query translation layer of the MongoDB C# Driver, in both aggregation expression and query filter translation. When application-supplied values are embedded in certain query constructs, special elements contained within those values are not properly escaped before the resulting query is transmitted to the database, so portions of the value may be interpreted by the database as query logic rather than as data. A user able to supply values that an application incorporates into an affected query may thereby cause unintended data to be returned or query results to be altered.

Aug 27, 2026APITable through 1.13.0-beta.1 annotates both getUserHistories and closePausedUserAccount in InternalUserController with requiredLogin = false.CVE-2026-80208 · Other software · apitable · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.8
APITable through 1.13.0-beta.1 annotates both getUserHistories and closePausedUserAccount in InternalUserController with requiredLogin = false. ResourceInterceptor honours that annotation by returning before any session or API key is validated, and the nginx gateway shipped with the product proxies every /api request to the backend server, so both endpoints are reachable by any unauthenticated client that can reach the gateway. An attacker can POST to /api/v1/internal/getUserHistories to enumerate the accounts sitting in the 30-day cooling-off period that follows a deletion request, then POST to /api/v1/internal/users/{userId}/close for each one. The closure path clears the account's email address, phone number and nickname, cancels its space subscriptions, removes its space memberships and deletes its OAuth bindings, so the cooling-off window that exists to let a user reverse a deletion request is bypassed and the account cannot be recovered.
