Sep 26, 2026Unintended Proxy or Intermediary ('Confused Deputy') (CWE-441) in Kibana Agent Builder can lead to privilege escalation.CVE-2026-72668 · Other software · Elastic · reported by security@elastic.coHigh 7.3
Unintended Proxy or Intermediary ('Confused Deputy') (CWE-441) in Kibana Agent Builder can lead to privilege escalation. A non-administrative user able to edit a shared agent could cause privileged operations to be carried out under the identity of a higher-privileged user who subsequently interacts with that agent. Where the same user can also author workflows, this can extend to full administrative control of Kibana and of the Elasticsearch cluster.

Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package openclaw) before 2026.8.1 could include deterministic hashes computed over the original, unredacted configuration in redacted configuratioCVE-2026-100543 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.7
OpenClaw (npm package openclaw) before 2026.8.1 could include deterministic hashes computed over the original, unredacted configuration in redacted configuration responses. When the Gateway password had low entropy and the remaining configuration values were reconstructable, these hashes acted as offline password verifiers: a caller able to obtain the redacted configuration (for example via config.get) could test password candidates offline without going through the rate-limited Gateway authentication path. Recovering the password could grant the documented shared-secret operator authority. Secret references were not affected in the same way. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1.

Sep 25, 2026Missing Authorization in the askpass escape code handler in kitty from 0.25.0 before 0.49.0 allows a local user other than the one running the terminal to obtaiCVE-2026-95835 · Other software · Kovid Goyal · reported by 4daa8cea-433a-44bd-9456-53b127fc289aMedium 5.6
Missing Authorization in the askpass escape code handler in kitty from 0.25.0 before 0.49.0 allows a local user other than the one running the terminal to obtain the text typed into a prompt that kitty itself displays, because handle_remote_askpass() in kitty/window.py opens the POSIX shared memory object named in the escape code, parses a prompt definition out of it, and writes the user's answer back into an object of that same name, without at any point checking that the object is owned by the user running kitty or that its permissions exclude other users. The equivalent consumer of the same SharedMemory class in the ssh kitten performs exactly that check; the askpass path did not. The handler is reached through a device control string processed from the byte stream of the window, so the attacker must also cause bytes of their choosing to be displayed by the victim's terminal. Where the POSIX shared memory namespace is shared between the two users, a second local user can create an object with permissions that allow the victim to read and write it, cause the victim's kitty to render a prompt of the attacker's choosing, including a masked password prompt, and read the typed secret

Use After Free in the drag source path of the drag and drop protocol in kitty from 0.47.0 before 0.49.0 allows a program writing to the terminal to cause the terminal to read from and write to freed heap memory, because drag_remote_file_data() in kitty/dnd.c holds a DragRemoteItem pointer into an array it does not own, calls toplevel_data_for_drag() or subdir_data_for_drag(), and then continues to use that pointer. Those helpers, and add_payload() and populate_dir_entries() which they call, report errors through the abrt() macro, which expands to cancel_drag() followed by a plain return, and cancel_drag() calls drag_free_offer(), which frees the array the pointer refers to. The helpers return void, so the caller receives no indication that the teardown happened, and proceeds to call all_children_complete() on the freed pointer, which dereferences it, and then to write through it. That dereference is guarded by a local flag that is set when the request carries no payload and announces no further data, which is the same condition that selects the finalisation block of add_payload(), so the error paths in that block reach it: a create that fails because an entry of the same name alrea

Sep 25, 2026Missing Authorization in the drop handling path of the drag and drop protocol in kitty from 0.47.0 before 0.49.0 allows a program writing to the terminal to obtCVE-2026-80432 · Other software · Kovid Goyal · reported by 4daa8cea-433a-44bd-9456-53b127fc289aMedium 6
Missing Authorization in the drop handling path of the drag and drop protocol in kitty from 0.47.0 before 0.49.0 allows a program writing to the terminal to obtain the contents of files dragged over the window even when the user never completes the drop, because drop_enqueue_request() in kitty/dnd.c serves a drag data request without first checking the drop state of the window, so a client that issues the request while a drag is merely hovering receives the data offered for the drag. In the same file, drop_left_child(), which runs when the drag leaves the window without a drop having occurred, releases the offered MIME list but retains the pending request state, the open file descriptor and its main loop transfer timer, the directory handles, the URI list and the pending MIME name, so a client can continue to read through a retained directory handle, and an in-flight file transfer continues to stream, when no drag is in progress. The file contents are read from the filesystem by the kitty process itself using the paths the drag source offered. This results in disclosure of the contents of files the user moved over the window without ever releasing them into it.

Sep 25, 2026Out-of-bounds Write in the natural width branch of the text sizing protocol in kitty from 0.40.0 before 0.49.0 allows a program writing to the terminal to writeCVE-2026-80431 · Other software · Kovid Goyal · reported by 4daa8cea-433a-44bd-9456-53b127fc289aMedium 6.8
Out-of-bounds Write in the natural width branch of the text sizing protocol in kitty from 0.40.0 before 0.49.0 allows a program writing to the terminal to write past the end of a fixed-size buffer, because screen_handle_multicell_command() in kitty/screen.c appends each codepoint of a grapheme cluster with lc.chars[lc.count++] = ch without any capacity check, while lc is declared by the RAII_ListOfChars macro as a four-element char_type array in the function's stack frame, so an OSC 66 escape code whose payload carries a grapheme cluster longer than four codepoints writes beyond that buffer, one 32-bit value per additional codepoint, in the order the codepoints appear. Where the cluster is preceded in the same payload by a sequence that causes an intermediate flush, the buffer is first migrated to the heap by ensure_space_for_chars() and the write occurs past the heap allocation instead. This results in termination of the kitty process and therefore of all its windows, tabs and child processes.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bonding: alb: fix uninitialized transport header access in alb_determine_nd() alb_determinCVE-2026-98089 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bonding: alb: fix uninitialized transport header access in alb_determine_nd() alb_determine_nd() uses icmp6_hdr(skb) to inspect ICMPv6 headers. However, in xmit paths (e.g. packets sent via AF_PACKET / raw sockets or forwarded packets), skb->transport_header is not guaranteed to be initialized. While pskb_network_may_pull() ensures the packet data is linear starting from the network header, it does not set or adjust the transport header offset. Dereferencing icmp6_hdr(skb) can therefore access out-of-bounds memory. Fetch the icmp6hdr directly after ipv6hdr following pskb_network_may_pull(), and reload ipv6hdr in case pskb_may_pull() reallocated skb->head. Also remove the unused bond argument from alb_determine_nd().

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: E-Switch: fix use-after-free in mlx5_eswitch_termtbl_put In mlx5_eswitch_termtblCVE-2026-98015 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: E-Switch: fix use-after-free in mlx5_eswitch_termtbl_put In mlx5_eswitch_termtbl_put(), the zero-ref cleanup check reads tt->ref_count after termtbl_mutex has been released. Two concurrent callers on the same mlx5_termtbl_handle race: one decrements ref_count to zero, removes the hash entry, and calls kfree(tt) while the other has already dropped the mutex and is about to evaluate if (!tt->ref_count), producing a use-after-free. Fix this by capturing the result of the decrement into a stack-local last variable before dropping the mutex. The cleanup decision is now made entirely under termtbl_mutex, and tt is not touched after kfree.

Improperly Controlled Modification of Dynamically-Determined Object Attributes vulnerability in ash-project ash allows a user to set the value of a private action argument on the bulk destroy and bulk update paths. Action arguments declared with public?: false are meant to be set only by trusted server-side code (for example via Ash.Changeset.set_private_argument/3) and must not be settable from end-user input. CVE-2026-55736 fixed the non-bulk changeset path to strip private arguments from user-supplied parameter maps, but the bulk destroy and bulk update paths were not covered. Ash.Actions.Destroy.Bulk.base_changeset/5 and Ash.Actions.Update.Bulk.base_changeset/5 match every key in the caller-supplied parameter map against all of the action's arguments with no public? check, then apply the matches to the base changeset. A caller who can submit parameters to a bulk destroy or bulk update action (for example through AshJsonApi, AshGraphql, or a controller that forwards request parameters to Ash.bulk_destroy/4 or Ash.bulk_update/4) can therefore set any private argument of that action, including one referenced by an arg(...) template in the action's changes or validations. Sep 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: NUL-terminate replaced sysctl value When writing to sysctls, proc_sys_call_handler() CVE-2026-97420 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: NUL-terminate replaced sysctl value When writing to sysctls, proc_sys_call_handler() guarantees that the buffer passed to proc handlers is NUL-terminated. If bpf_sysctl_set_new_value() replaces the pending sysctl value, it can hand a replacement buffer directly to proc handlers. However, the helper currently copies only buf_len bytes into that buffer without appending a NUL terminator, leaving downstream parsers vulnerable to out-of-bounds access. Fix this by appending a '\0' after the replaced value to restore the expected sysctl semantics. Since the helper already rejects buf_len greater than PAGE_SIZE - 1, there is always room for the extra byte. Reproduced in a QEMU x86_64 guest booted with KASAN while exercising the sysctl replacement path with a cgroup/sysctl BPF program. The reproducer targets `/proc/sys/net/core/flow_limit_cpu_bitmap`, fills the original user write buffer with non-zero bytes, and overrides the sysctl value so the replacement buffer lacks a terminating NUL. Under that setup, the pre-fix kernel reported: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in strnchrnul+0x72/0x90 Read of size 1 at ad

Sep 24, 2026Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities.CVE-2026-79766 · Other software · Termix-SSH · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1
Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. From 2.4.1 until 2.5.1, an authenticated Termix administrator can store attacker-controlled domain and email values through PATCH /users/acme-ssl-settings and trigger their interpolation into a certbot shell command through POST /users/acme-ssl-request. In src/backend/database/routes/acme-ssl-routes.ts, child_process.execSync invokes /bin/sh -c with those values only wrapped in double quotes, so shell metacharacters can execute arbitrary operating-system commands as the Termix backend process. Both HTTP webroot and DNS Cloudflare challenge modes are affected, and compromise exposes Termix databases, process secrets, stored credentials, and network reachability. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.1.

Sep 24, 2026Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities.CVE-2026-79764 · Other software · Termix-SSH · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7
Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. From 2.5.0 until 2.5.1, the /homepage/proxy endpoint accepts an authenticated user's url query parameter and passes it to http.get or https.get without destination restrictions. In src/backend/database/routes/homepage-proxy-routes.ts, new URL performs only syntactic validation, allowing requests to loopback, RFC1918, link-local, and cloud metadata destinations. The endpoint returns the complete fetched JSON response, so a low-privilege or self-registered account can exfiltrate internal service data and cloud credentials. Sep 24, 2026Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities.CVE-2026-79763 · Other software · Termix-SSH · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. From 2.4.0 until 2.5.1, the POST /users/totp/disable and POST /users/totp/backup-codes endpoints accept the account password as the sole reauthentication factor after a 2.4.0 refactor regressed the two-factor check introduced for CVE-2026-45749. In src/backend/database/routes/user-totp-routes.ts, verifyTotpReauth returns success when bcrypt.compare validates the password, while each endpoint chooses password or totp_code as an interchangeable credential. An attacker who has a victim's authenticated session and knows the password can disable TOTP or regenerate and invalidate backup codes without an authenticator or valid second factor, weakening the account to single-factor authentication. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.1.

Sep 24, 2026Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities.CVE-2026-79762 · Other software · Termix-SSH · reported by GitHubMedium 5.5
Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. From 1.7.0 until 2.5.1, Termix derives the keys that wrap OIDC and WebAuthn users' Data Encryption Keys from committed default strings and the public userId salt in src/backend/utils/user-crypto.ts. Because OIDC_SYSTEM_SECRET and WEBAUTHN_SYSTEM_SECRET are not configured by the project's default deployment artifacts, an attacker with an offline SQLite database copy can derive the wrapping key, recover each affected user's DEK, and decrypt stored SSH passwords, private keys, and key passphrases. Sep 24, 2026Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities.CVE-2026-79761 · Other software · Termix-SSH · reported by GitHubMedium 6.6
Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. From 1.7.0 until 2.5.1, the Termix SSH key deployment flow derives a grep pattern from a user-controlled public-key token and interpolates it into double-quoted shell commands executed on the selected target host. In src/backend/database/routes/credential-deploy-routes.ts, both grep -F verification paths accept command substitution or quote-breaking shell syntax in keyPattern. An authenticated user who can deploy a crafted SSH credential can therefore execute commands with the selected remote account's privileges. The separate ACME command-injection report is outside this CVE's scope. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.1.

Sep 24, 2026Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities.CVE-2026-79760 · Other software · Termix-SSH · reported by GitHubMedium 6.4
Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. From 2.5.0 until 2.5.1, Termix allows authenticated users to configure webhook or ntfy notification channels with attacker-controlled destination URLs and trigger server-side requests through the notification-channel test endpoint. The request path in src/backend/database/routes/alert-rules-routes.ts reaches src/backend/utils/notification-sender.ts without destination allowlisting or private-address blocking. This permits blind requests to internal HTTP services reachable by the Termix server. Webhook mode also permits attacker-controlled HTTP methods and headers, which can cause limited state changes when an internal service accepts the fixed notification body, although response bodies are not returned. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.1.

Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. From 1.7.0 until 2.5.1, the POST /credentials/:id/deploy-to-host endpoint resolves credential and target-host records from attacker-controlled credentialId and targetHostId integer values without checking that either record belongs to the requesting user. In src/backend/database/routes/credentials.ts, differential errors reveal whether credential and host records exist and disclose each record's authType value. Properly encrypted passwords and keys are not disclosed, but a key-authenticated victim host can receive an outbound SSH connection attempt using the attacker's public key. Sep 24, 2026Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities.CVE-2026-79758 · Other software · Termix-SSH · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4
Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. From 1.8.0 until 2.5.1, authenticated Termix users can access the server-stats API without per-host authorization. GET /status returns statuses for hosts the requester cannot access, GET /status/:id accepts an attacker-supplied numeric host identifier, and POST /clear-connections permits a regular user to clear the global SSH connection pool. The affected src/backend/ssh/server-stats.ts routes expose host online or offline state and lastChecked timestamps and can disrupt other users' active sessions or pooled connections.
