Aug 26, 2026StarRocks performs no privilege check when a legacy synchronous materialized view is dropped.CVE-2026-80346 · Other software · StarRocks · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1
StarRocks performs no privilege check when a legacy synchronous materialized view is dropped. Every other statement type routed through AuthorizerStmtVisitor calls into Authorizer before execution, but visitDropMaterializedViewStatement returns immediately with a comment stating the check happens in execution logic. That holds only for asynchronous materialized views: LocalMetastore.dropMaterializedView calls Authorizer.checkMaterializedViewAction inside a branch taken when the resolved table is a MaterializedView. A legacy synchronous materialized view is stored as a rollup index on an OlapTable rather than a MaterializedView, so the other branch runs, reaching AlterJobMgr.processDropMaterializedView and MaterializedViewHandler, neither of which contains any Authorizer call. The former locates the target by scanning every OlapTable in the named database for a matching rollup index, and the latter validates only table state and name conflicts. Any authenticated account can therefore drop a legacy synchronous materialized view belonging to any database, holding no grant on the view, the base table or the database, and the drop is indistinguishable from an authorized one.

Aug 24, 2026act starts an HTTP Artifacts V4 backend whenever a workflow uses actions/upload-artifact@v4 or actions/download-artifact@v4.CVE-2026-76847 · Other software · nektos · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
act starts an HTTP Artifacts V4 backend whenever a workflow uses actions/upload-artifact@v4 or actions/download-artifact@v4. The control-plane RPCs of that backend, including CreateArtifact, GetSignedArtifactURL, ListArtifacts, FinalizeArtifact and DeleteArtifact, accept a caller-supplied workflow_run_backend_id and never check that it belongs to the requester: validateRunIDV4 in pkg/artifacts/artifacts_v4.go parses the value and returns it with the comparison against the requesting task's run ID left commented out. The signed URLs the backend issues are authenticated by an HMAC whose key is hardcoded to the four bytes 0xba 0xdb 0xee 0xf0, identical in every build, computed over a concatenation of endpoint, expiry, artifact name and task ID with no length prefix or delimiter, so signatures are both forgeable and ambiguous between differing artifact name and task ID pairs. The --artifact-server-addr flag defaults to the host's outbound address rather than loopback, leaving the backend reachable from the surrounding network. Any client that can reach it may read, overwrite or delete the artifacts of a concurrently running job with no credentials, exposing build outputs such as secret

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (pmbus) Fix type confusion in notification logic Sashiko reports: At the start of the loop in pmbus_notify(), the code unconditionally casts every attribute to a struct sensor_device_attribute: drivers/hwmon/pmbus/pmbus_core.c:pmbus_notify() { for (i = 0; i < data->num_attributes; i++) { struct device_attribute *da = to_dev_attr(data->group.attrs[i]); struct sensor_device_attribute *attr = to_sensor_dev_attr(da); int index = attr->index; ... } However, data->group.attrs can contain other types like struct pmbus_samples_reg or struct pmbus_sensor, which only embed a base struct device_attribute. If da is a struct pmbus_samples_reg, dev_attr is the last member. Casting it to struct sensor_device_attribute and reading the index field appears to access memory past the end of the allocation, which might trigger a slab-out-of-bounds read. Additionally, if da is a struct pmbus_sensor, casting it causes the index field to overlap with the page, phase, and reg fields. Could this produce a garbage mask on little-endian systems that spuriously matches the target reg, page, and flags d

Aug 22, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipvs: stop estimator after disabled calc phase IPVS estimator kthread 0 starts with zeroedCVE-2026-74670 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipvs: stop estimator after disabled calc phase IPVS estimator kthread 0 starts with zeroed chain and tick limits until its initial calculation phase completes. If network namespace teardown clears ipvs->enable during that phase, ip_vs_est_calc_phase() can return without installing positive limits. The kthread can then continue into its main loop and drain est_temp_list with zero chain_max, tick_max and est_max_count values. Each enqueue consumes one available tick row, but est_count never reaches the zero est_max_count value. After all rows are consumed, the row lookup returns IPVS_EST_NTICKS and ip_vs_enqueue_estimator() writes past the ticks and tick_len arrays. Exit kthread 0 after the calculation phase if the kthread is stopping or IPVS has been disabled. That keeps temporary estimators from being drained after the limits failed to initialize. Estimator kthreads can now self-exit before teardown or reload stops kd->task. Keep an extra task reference after creation and release it with kthread_stop_put(), so kd->task remains valid until the stop paths consume that reference.

is_path_trusted in scripts/iib/api.py compares the requested path against each allowed parent directory with path.startswith(parent_path), without appending a path separator. A directory whose name merely begins with an allowed path therefore satisfies the comparison, so where /data/images is allowed a request for /data/images_private/secret.txt is treated as trusted and served by FileResponse, disclosing files the confinement was meant to exclude. Whether the check applies depends on get_enable_access_control in scripts/iib/tool.py: it returns true when IIB_ACCESS_CONTROL is set to enable, false when set to disable, and otherwise true when the host Stable Diffusion WebUI was started with share, ngrok, listen or server_name, falling back to false. Confinement is therefore active in the network-exposed WebUI deployments that rely on it, while a standalone run with no such option serves every readable file regardless of this flaw. The fix compares against parent_path joined with os.sep.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rtase: fix double free of multi-frag skb on DMA map failure In rtase_start_xmit(), when the head buffer DMA mapping fails after rtase_xmit_frags() has mapped all fragments, the error path clears the fragment descriptors with rtase_tx_clear_range(), which frees the skb through the last-frag slot and accounts tx_dropped. Control then falls through to the common error label, which frees the same skb a second time and counts it again. Return right after clearing the fragments when the skb owns frags; the no-frag case still drops through and frees the head skb once.

Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: binfmt_misc: reject a flag character as the field delimiter The registration string startsCVE-2026-74485 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: binfmt_misc: reject a flag character as the field delimiter The registration string starts with a user chosen delimiter that separates the individual fields. So that the field parsers terminate even on a truncated string create_entry() pads the buffer with that same delimiter: memset(buf + count, del, 8); Most fields are scanned for the delimiter with strchr()/scanarg() and happily stop on the padding. The flags field is different: instead of scanning for the delimiter check_special_flags() consumes the flag characters 'P', 'O', 'C' and 'F' and stops at the first byte that is none of them, relying on the trailing delimiter to end the scan. If the delimiter is itself a flag character the padding no longer acts as a terminator. The scan swallows all eight padding bytes and keeps reading past the end of the allocation until it hits a byte that is not a flag character. For example registering PaPEPPxPPiP with 'P' as the delimiter (name "a", type extension, magic "x", interpreter "i", empty flags) leaves the flag scan running off the end of the buffer. The registration is rejected in the end because the parser

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: peak_usb: peak_usb_start(): fix double free of transfer buffer on URB submit error In peak_usb_start(), each RX URB transfer buffer is allocated with kmalloc() and the URB is flagged URB_FREE_BUFFER so that the final usb_free_urb() also frees the transfer buffer. If usb_submit_urb() fails, the error path frees the buffer explicitly with kfree(buf) and then calls usb_free_urb(urb). Because URB_FREE_BUFFER is set, usb_free_urb() -> urb_destroy() frees the same buffer a second time, a double free of the transfer buffer. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: igmp: Fix potential UAF in igmp_gq_start_timer() A race condition exists between device teardown (inetdev_destroy) and incoming IGMP query processing (igmp_rcv), leading to a Use-After-Free in the IGMP timer callback. During device destruction, inetdev_destroy() drops the primary reference to in_device, which can drop its refcount to 0. The actual freeing of in_device memory is deferred via RCU (using call_rcu()). Concurrently, igmp_rcv() runs under RCU read lock and obtains the in_device pointer. Because the memory is RCU-protected, CPU-0 can safely dereference in_device even if its refcount has hit 0. However, if CPU-0 calls igmp_gq_start_timer() and re-arms the timer, it attempts to acquire a reference using in_dev_hold(). This increments the refcount from 0 to 1, triggering a "refcount_t: addition on 0" warning. Since the in_device memory is still scheduled to be freed after the RCU grace period (as the free callback does not check the refcount again), the device is freed while the timer is still armed. When the timer expires, it accesses the freed memory, causing a kernel panic. Fix this by using r

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs3: cap RESTART_TABLE free-chain walker at rt->used A crafted NTFS3 disk image triggers an in-kernel infinite loop at mount time, hanging the mounting thread and firing the soft-lockup watchdog within ~22s on multi-CPU hosts (panic with kernel.softlockup_panic=1). The bug is reachable from desktop USB auto-mount on distributions where udisks2 routes the NTFS signature to the in-tree ntfs3 driver (Arch family and an increasing fraction of Fedora / openSUSE / RHEL deployments); CAP_SYS_ADMIN-class manual mount elsewhere. check_rstbl()'s second walker iterates the free-entry singly-linked list headed by rt->first_free with no upper bound on iteration count: for (off = ff; off;) { if (off == RESTART_ENTRY_ALLOCATED) return false; off = le32_to_cpu(*(__le32 *)Add2Ptr(rt, off)); if (off > ts - sizeof(__le32)) return false; } The existing guards cover three exits: end-of-list (off == 0), the in-use marker (off == RESTART_ENTRY_ALLOCATED), and out-of-bounds (off > ts - sizeof(__le32)). None of the three prevents an in-bounds cycle. A crafted on-disk RESTART_TABLE whose f

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: imx: reconfigure for PIO when DMA cannot be started When spi_imx_can_dma() selects DMA, the ECSPI is configured for DMA: spi_imx_setupxfer() sets CTRL.SMC and clears dynamic_burst, and spi_imx_dma_transfer() programs the dynamic-burst BURST_LENGTH and the SDMA watermarks. If the DMA descriptor cannot be prepared (dmaengine_prep_slave_single() returns NULL), the transfer is failed with SPI_TRANS_FAIL_NO_START and falls back to PIO. The dynamic-burst DMA path uses its own bounce buffers instead of the SPI core's mapping, so xfer->{tx,rx}_sg_mapped are not set and the core's DMA->PIO retry is skipped; the driver falls back to PIO internally. But none of the DMA-mode configuration is undone, so the PIO transfer runs with CTRL.SMC set, the wrong burst length and dynamic_burst cleared, and the transferred data is corrupted. This is easily hit on i.MX8MP boards that describe ECSPI DMA in the device tree but run SDMA on ROM firmware (no external sdma-imx7d.bin): every ECSPI DMA prepare fails. An Infineon SLB9670 TPM on ECSPI1 then returns shifted TPM2_GetCapability data, is flagged "field failure mode", /dev/tpmrm

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm era: fix out-of-bounds memory access for non-zero start sector dm-era tracks writes in target-relative blocks, but era_map() calculates the writeset block before applying the target offset. Tables with a non-zero start sector can therefore pass an absolute mapped-device block to metadata_current_marked(). If the absolute block is beyond the current writeset size, writeset_marked() tests past the end of the in-core bitset. KASAN reports this as a vmalloc-out-of-bounds access. Apply the target offset before calculating the era block so writeset lookups use the target-relative block number.

In Eclipse Theia versions up to and including 1.69.0, opening a folder starts source control integration without requiring the user to trust the folder first. This affects applications built on Theia that include the git integration, such as the Theia IDE. Both Theia's own `@theia/git` extension and the builtin VS Code `git` extension run git commands such as `git status` as soon as a repository is detected. Since git honors repository-local configuration, a folder containing an attacker-controlled `.git/config` with `core.fsmonitor` (or a comparable hook-like setting) causes the configured command to be executed. The configuration can be delivered by burying a bare repository inside a regular repository (OVE-20210718-0001), so cloning an attacker-supplied repository and opening it in a Theia-based application is sufficient to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the user, without any confirmation prompt. As of 1.70.0, plugins that declare `capabilities.untrustedWorkspaces.supported: false`, which includes the builtin git extension, are no longer loaded or activated in an untrusted workspace, and the deprecated `@theia/git` extension has been removed, so no git comm

The referrer enforcement introduced with TYPO3-CORE-SA-2020-006 (CVE-2020-11069) became ineffective in TYPO3 v13.0, where TYPO3 CMS started serving the backend and Install Tool applications from the site's main entry script instead of the dedicated typo3/ directory. Whether a request originated from the backend or Install Tool itself was determined by comparing the referrer against the directory of the entry script, which since then is the site root. As a consequence, requests originating from any script running on one of the TYPO3 instance's own domains, such as a frontend page, were accepted by backend routes and Install Tool endpoints. Attackers able to execute JavaScript on one of those domains, for instance by exploiting a cross-site scripting vulnerability, could invoke these endpoints via Fetch/XHR with the privileges of an authenticated victim's user session. The UpdateHub over-the-air update client's start_coap_client() in subsys/mgmt/updatehub/updatehub.c leaks the CoAP/DTLS socket descriptor on its connection-setup failure paths. The shared error: cleanup gated socket closing on a ret > 0 flag, but ret was set to -1 immediately after the socket was created, so when zsock_setsockopt() (DTLS) or zsock_connect() subsequently failed the gate was false and cleanup_connection() was never called. The open descriptor in the global ctx.sock was then overwritten by the next attempt, permanently leaking it from the socket / net_context pool until reboot. The failing setup path is reached every time the OTA client tries to contact the UpdateHub server and the connection cannot be established — driven automatically by the periodic autohandler() poll (and on demand via the updatehub_probe()/updatehub_update() API or the updatehub run shell command). The DTLS handshake/connect outcome is influenceable by a network or on-path attacker who drops, resets, or otherwise disrupts traffic to the server, and also fails naturally whenever the server is unreachable. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fscrypt: Avoid dynamic allocation in fscrypt_get_devices() When a blk_crypto_key starts being used or is evicted, fs/crypto/ calls fscrypt_get_devices() to get the filesystem's list of block devices, then iterates over them and calls blk_crypto_config_supported(), blk_crypto_start_using_key(), or blk_crypto_evict_key() on each one. Currently, the block device pointers are placed in a dynamically allocated array. This dynamic allocation is problematic because: - It can fail, especially at the fscrypt_destroy_inline_crypt_key() call site when it's invoked for inode eviction under direct reclaim. - fscrypt_destroy_inline_crypt_key() doesn't handle the failure. It just zeroizes and frees the blk_crypto_key without calling blk_crypto_evict_key(). That causes a use-after-free. For now, let's fix this in the straightforward and easily-backportable way by switching to an on-stack array. Currently the fscrypt multi-device functionality is used only by f2fs, which has a hardcoded limit of 8 block devices. An on-stack array works fine for that. (Of course, this solution won't scale up to large number of bloc

Tobit Laboratories AG TeamDavid's Webbox application exposes a functionality that allows the server to be shut down when a specific endpoint (/internalRestart) is accessed. This endpoint is accessible to unauthenticated users over the public Internet. Instead of “restarting”, the server shuts completely down. As a result, a remote attacker can trigger a persistent denial of service by shutting down the web server without requiring authentication. Recovery requires manual administrator intervention to restart the service. This issue affects TeamDavid before Rollout 528. Starting with Rollout 528 (June 30, 2026), the affected functionality is disabled by default and the vulnerabilities are therefore no longer exposed through this functionality.

GoRest is a Golang starter kit built with the Gin framework for prototyping and developing RESTful APIs. In versions prior to 1.12.2 nMemorySecret2FA contains a race condition due to an unsynchronized package-level map used to store 2FA secrets. Multiple HTTP handlers in handler/login.go and handler/twoFA.go read from and write to this map concurrently, and because Go's runtime treats unsynchronized concurrent map access as an unrecoverable fatal error, an attacker can repeatedly trigger this condition to crash the process on demand. This results in high, repeatable availability impact with no confidentiality or integrity consequences. This issue has been fixed in version 1.12.2.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rhashtable: clear stale iter->p on table restart rhashtable_walk_start_check() has two restart paths when resuming a walk. When iter->walker.tbl is valid, it re-validates iter->p against the table and sets iter->p = NULL if the object is gone. When iter->walker.tbl is NULL (table was freed during resize), it resets slot and skip but forgets to clear iter->p. rhashtable_walk_next() then dereferences the stale iter->p, reading freed memory. This is a use-after-free. Any caller that does multi-fragment rhashtable walks across walk_stop/walk_start boundaries is affected. Concrete cases include netlink_diag (__netlink_diag_dump in net/netlink/diag.c) and TIPC (tipc_nl_sk_walk in net/tipc/socket.c). Crash stack (netlink_diag): BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in rhashtable_walk_next+0x365/0x3c0 Read of size 8 at addr ffff88801a9d2438 (freed kmalloc-2k, offset 1080) Call Trace: rhashtable_walk_next+0x365/0x3c0 (lib/rhashtable.c:1016) __netlink_diag_dump+0x160/0x760 (net/netlink/diag.c:122) netlink_diag_dump+0xc2/0x240 netlink_dump+0x5bc/0x1270 netlink_recvmsg+0x7a3/0x980 sock_recvmsg+0x1bc/0

Aug 3, 2026Litestar is an Asynchronous Server Gateway Interface (ASGI) framework.CVE-2026-48061 · Other software · litestar-org · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9
Litestar is an Asynchronous Server Gateway Interface (ASGI) framework. In versions prior to 2.22.0, an attacker can bypass the allowed hosts validation by omitting the Host header and supplying an X-Forwarded-Host header set to a whitelisted domain. The AllowedHostsMiddleware trusts the X-Forwarded-Host header as a fallback when the Host header is absent. Since X-Forwarded-Host is a client-controllable header, this enables host header injection attacks such as password reset poisoning, cache poisoning, and server-side request routing manipulation. Any application using AllowedHostsConfig is affected when deployed without a reverse proxy that strips X-Forwarded-Host, or when accepting HTTP/1.0 connections. This issue has been fixed in version 2.22.0.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
