  • Oct 19, 2026Rank Math SEO PRO for WordPress is affected by a supply-chain compromise in a subset of version 3.0.123 packages downloaded or updated between October 15, 2026 CVE-2026-111862 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

Rank Math SEO PRO for WordPress is affected by a supply-chain compromise in a subset of version 3.0.123 packages downloaded or updated between October 15, 2026 at 20:02 UTC and October 16, 2026 at 07:12 UTC. Rank Math states that the affected plugin files contained malware that could compromise a website if the plugin was activated and directs sites that activated an affected package to treat the website as compromised. The malware may establish persistent access, communicate with rank1cdn[.]com, recreate hidden backdoors on page visits, and expose WordPress credentials, database credentials, API keys, and other secrets accessible to the web server. Rank Math identifies three malicious wp_options keys, hidden PHP backdoors, unauthorized administrator accounts, a fake WordPress core file, PHP-executable .cache files, and a system cron marker as incident indicators. Only packages obtained during the vendor-confirmed window are claimed as affected; version 3.0.123 alone is not sufficient to establish compromise. Rank Math removed the affected files and released version 3.0.124 as the clean replacement.

    What to do
Update the plugin to the newest version.

Missing authorization in the Sieve editheader action (6.2.22 through 6.3.6) and in the mail-rule Set header value action (6.0.0 through 6.3.6) of Progressive Robot hMailServer allows an authenticated user to make the server send mail as any address, DKIM-signed where the address is at a domain the server signs for. A Sieve script's editheader (addheader/deleteheader) could add or delete any header field except Received and Return-Path, and the server applies a script's header edits before it queues a redirect, so the redirected copy is sent as the script left it. The server signs a message's first delivery pass as the domain named in its From header wherever it signs DKIM for that domain and the message carries no signature of it. A script could therefore delete and re-add From - another account's address, or anyone's at a hosted domain - and redirect, so the server sent the message in that name and, for a hosted domain, signed it with that domain's DKIM key, a forgery aligned to pass the domain's DMARC; or, where another sender's domain is one the server signs for, delete the DKIM-Signature that sender's message arrived with, alter a field, and redirect, so the server re-signed th

  • Oct 19, 2026MISP contains a vulnerability in the handling of module plugin settings.CVE-2026-112192 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.3

MISP contains a vulnerability in the handling of module plugin settings. When the server rebuilds module-supplied settings for API consumption, it drops the redacted and cli_only flags that a module declares in its own configuration metadata. As a result: - A module that marks a setting (such as an API key) as redacted still has its value returned in full by the servers/getSetting and servers/serverSettingsEdit endpoints, exposing sensitive credentials to any authenticated user who can read server settings. - A module that marks a setting as cli_only (intended to be editable only via the command-line interface) can still be modified through the web API, bypassing the intended access restriction. An authenticated user with access to server settings can therefore read sensitive module credentials and modify settings that the module author intended to restrict to CLI-only access. • Oct 19, 2026MISP contains a vulnerability in its server settings lookup mechanism that allows an authenticated user to retrieve sensitive configuration data that should havCVE-2026-112188 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 7.1

MISP contains a vulnerability in its server settings lookup mechanism that allows an authenticated user to retrieve sensitive configuration data that should have been redacted. The settings lookup function resolves a dotted setting name to a node in the configuration tree. When a branch name (such as Security, MISP, or Plugin) is supplied instead of a specific leaf setting, the function returns the entire sub-tree. Because a branch node does not carry a redaction flag, the redaction check in the settings retrieval endpoint is bypassed, and the full branch contents are returned to the caller. This exposes sensitive values including the security salt, Redis connection passwords, and plugin API keys. A second endpoint that edits server settings similarly reads the entire configuration store when a branch name is resolved, returning all settings to the caller. The impact is disclosure of sensitive server configuration secrets to any user who can access the server settings endpoints. Affected versions: <2.5.48.

The Gitea OpenID association callback in the security settings accepted a positive OpenID 2.0 assertion without checking that the signed-in user had started the linking. Because OpenID 2.0 allows unsolicited assertions, an attacker-controlled OpenID provider could attach the attacker's identity to the account of a signed-in victim who opened a crafted link, and the attacker could then sign in as the victim through OpenID login, which does not apply the local TOTP or WebAuthn checks. The callback now requires a time-limited `state` value bound to the user.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: of/overlay: put property on deadprops only after changeset add succeeds add_changeset_property() links a new property of a not-yet-live target node into the node's deadprops list before handing it to of_changeset_add_property(). If that fails, the error path frees the property but leaves the freed pointer linked in deadprops, and of_node_release() frees it a second time when the aborted overlay's node is released. Record the changeset entry first and link the property into deadprops only on success. of_changeset_add_property() never looks at the node's property lists, so the order of the two steps is otherwise immaterial, and the error path frees a property that nothing references.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: of/overlay: only treat a positive changeset id as registered of_overlay_fdt_apply() stores the idr_alloc() return value in ovcs->id before checking it. On failure the stored id is negative, free_overlay_changeset()'s "if (ovcs->id)" check passes, idr_remove() is called with a negative id and list_del() runs on ovcs->ovcs_list, which is not initialized until after the id allocation. An allocation failure at that point dereferences NULL. Make free_overlay_changeset() treat only a strict-positive id as registered. The rest of the function already copes with a partially-initialized ovcs, so the error path stays a plain goto err_free_ovcs.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virt: vmgenid: set driver_data before registering notification handlers Both probe paths register their notification handler before assigning driver_data, which the handler dereferences. In the devicetree path, the notification IRQ can fire as soon as devm_request_irq() registers the handler: the interrupt may already be pending at probe time, for example when a VMM injects the generation-changed notification while restoring a guest from a snapshot that was taken before the driver had probed (Firecracker does exactly this on snapshot restore). The IRQ is also requested with IRQF_SHARED, so another device sharing the line can trigger the handler just as early. The handler then calls vmgenid_notify(), which dereferences the still-NULL driver_data and panics: Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 0000000000000010 CPU: 0 UID: 0 PID: 1 Comm: swapper/0 Not tainted 6.18.38+ #1 PREEMPT(none) Hardware name: linux,dummy-virt (DT) pc : vmgenid_notify.isra.0+0x24/0x8c lr : vmgenid_of_irq_handler+0x14/0x34 Call trace: vmgenid_notify.isra.0+0x24/0x8c (P) vmgenid_of_irq_handler+

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: blk-cgroup: save IRQ state in blkg_tryget_closest() bio_set_dev() associates the bio with a blkg through bio_associate_blkg(). If the blkg lookup misses, blkg_tryget_closest() takes q->queue_lock with spin_lock_irq() and releases it with spin_unlock_irq(), which unconditionally enables local interrupts. Callers may call bio_set_dev() with interrupts already disabled, e.g. dm-thin's pool_map() does so while holding pool->lock taken with spin_lock_irq(). The nested spin_unlock_irq() then enables interrupts while pool->lock is still held, so an I/O completion softirq can run on the same CPU, re-acquire pool->lock (thin_endio(), or overwrite_endio() -> complete_mapping_preparation()) and deadlock. lockdep reports this as inconsistent SOFTIRQ-ON-W to IN-SOFTIRQ-W usage. Commit 3a762de55b4e ("block: save irq state in blkg_lookup_create()") fixed the same problem while the lock lived in blkg_lookup_create(), but commit 9327a865e395 ("blk-cgroup: don't nest queue_lock under rcu in blkg_lookup_create()") moved the locking into blkg_tryget_closest() and reverted it to spin_lock_irq(). Save and restore the caller's IRQ

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: of/overlay: don't leak fragment references when changeset init fails init_overlay_changeset() stores the number of initialized fragments in ovcs->count only on full success. When find_target() or the __symbols__ lookup fails partway through, the target and overlay references taken for the fragments initialized so far are never dropped: free_overlay_changeset() bounds its cleanup loop by ovcs->count, which is still 0. Store the running count on the error path so free_overlay_changeset() puts whatever was set up. The store is guarded by ovcs->fragments because on the allocation-failure path cnt still holds the counting pass total while there is no fragments array; everywhere else cnt only counts fully-initialized fragments.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: blk-mq: set RQF_USE_SCHED when the operation is known The cached requests are allocated for one operation but can be handed out for another. A passthrough command has RQF_USE_SCHED cleared, so using those flags for a subsequent read/write bio will insert it into the scheduler without ->prepare_request() and frees it without ->finish_request(). For kyber, this leaks the domain token acquired at dispatch and stalls the queue. Don't set RQF_USE_SCHED based on the first operation the batch happened to be allocated for. Instead, set it after the request is claimed by an operation. Introduce a helper function, blk_mq_rq_late_init() for this, and absorb blk_mq_rq_time_init() since the two run together.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Hold map BTF for the memory allocator destructor record bpf_ma_set_dtor() duplicates map->record so that the bpf_mem_alloc destructor can release the special fields of hash and rhash map elements once the allocator frees them for good. btf_record_dup() only acquires references on kernel and module BTF. Fields whose types live in the map BTF keep pointing into it: a kptr to a local type refers to map->btf, and a list_head or rb_root field carries a value_rec owned by the struct meta table of map->btf. That borrowed state can outlive the map. When RCU callbacks are still in flight, bpf_mem_alloc_destroy() copies the allocator and defers the final drain, together with the destructor context, to a workqueue. bpf_map_free() then frees map->record and drops the map's BTF reference as soon as map_free() returns. Once the program that loaded the BTF is gone as well, the BTF is freed while the worker still uses the duplicate. The worker dereferences it through btf_is_kernel() and btf_find_struct_meta() in bpf_obj_free_fields() when destroying elements that were freed under RCU, and through btf_is_kernel() in btf_rec

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: cap skb->queue_mapping when the tx queue is picked skbedit can set skb->queue_mapping and raise the per-CPU skip_txqueue flag so __dev_queue_xmit() honours the mapping. __dev_queue_xmit() cleared the flag before sch_handle_egress() and only read it afterwards, so the flag was not confined to the xmit that set it: a nested xmit (mirred redirect or mirror, or a drop after skbedit) could set the flag and the outer xmit would consume it for an skb that never went through skbedit. A forwarded packet still carries the ingress NIC's rx_queue + 1 in skb->queue_mapping, so the outer device then indexes its tx queue state with that stale value. Taprio's child array q->qdiscs[] is sized to the device's queue count, so taprio_enqueue() indexes past its allocation and dereferences the result as a struct Qdisc *. We (ab)use the skb->nf_skip_egress which means "skip netfilter egress for this packet" to tag to "am I in tc egress?". Despite the overload I dont see it as a conflict since the marker is set only around the single sch_handle_egress() call and ingress path is guarded by tc_at_ingress. I will send a followup(net

Fix this by checking that NAT manipulation type is correct before calling nf_nat_setup_info(). In addition, if the WARN_ON is hit, return NF_DROP instead of continuing with the processing to avoid similar situations in the future.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: typec: tcpm: recover after failure to start the frs ams Reset the port if the tcpm fails to start the FAST_ROLE_SWAP AMS by initiating error recovery on it. This helps in cases where some cables (incorrectly) signal an FRS to an FRS capable port during disconnection. The TCPC autonomously starts sourcing VBUS on detecting the FRS signal. However, the VBUS sourcing is left on when the FAST_ROLE_SWAP AMS fails to start (as tcpm_sink_tx_ok is 0 as CC is open due to the cable disconnect). The a10 EDAC .setup callbacks (sdmmc, ethernet, nand, dma, usb, qspi) and their helpers (altr_init_a10_ecc_device_type, altr_init_a10_ecc_block) were marked __init. These run from the probe path, which may execute after init memory is freed -- e.g. a probe deferred via -EPROBE_DEFER that only succeeds once a late/module dependency appears, or a manual unbind/rebind. Calling __init code then dereferences freed memory. Remove __init so these functions remain valid at runtime.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: adc: ade9000: fix NULL pointer dereference in clkout registration ade9000_setup_clkout() passes NULL as the register address when registering a divider clock. During clock registration, the common clock framework calls clk_divider_recalc_rate(), which dereferences the address through readl(). As a result, probing an ADE9000 configured as a clock provider with an external input clock crashes. CLKOUT passes CLKIN through without changing its rate. Register it as a 1:1 fixed-factor clock, which does not require register access. This change does not affect the configuration using the internal clock, for which the driver does not register a clock provider.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: s390: Fix potential races in dat skey functions When dat_cond_set_storage_key() finds a large page, it will conditionally set the storage key in absolute memory using large_crste_to_phys() to get the absolute address. There is a race window between dat_entry_walk() and large_crste_to_phys(): the large page could have been split concurrently, and large_crste_to_phys() might be called with a crste that does not designate a large page, leading to crashes. Similar issues were also present in dat_set_storage_key(). dat_get_storage_key() and dat_reset_reference_bit() did instead check for a potential concurrent splitting of the large page, but then handled it incorrectly. Fix by performing a READ_ONCE on the crste pointer, checking and using the result, instead of dereferencing the pointer again. In case a race is detacted, try dat_entry_walk() again.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf, arm64: set up the frame pointer for the exception callback A program acting as exception boundary saves all callee-saved registers, so build_prologue() takes the exception_cb path and never calls push_callee_regs(). That is the only place find_used_callee_regs() runs, and with it the only place ctx->fp_used is set, so the callback prologue does not emit the mov x25, sp that points BPF_REG_FP at the frame the callback runs on. x25 keeps whatever it held when bpf_throw() was called. If the throw came from a subprogram that uses its own BPF stack, that is the subprogram's frame pointer, and since the subprogram never returns it never restores x25 either. Stack accesses through BPF_REG_FP are rewritten to be stack pointer relative, so those still land in the callback's own frame. Materializing the register does not: a callback that passes the address of a local variable to a helper hands over an address in the dead subprogram's frame. That address is below the callback's stack pointer by then, and the helper's own call chain covers it, so the helper can write over its own return address. 0x1234 below is the

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: eth: fbnic: reset num_napi when the napi vectors are freed fbn->num_napi is the count of live napi vectors, each of which owns an IRQ. The PM path had freed them without clearing the count. fbnic_pm_suspend() tears the datapath down via ndo_stop() and frees the IRQs, but leaves netif_running() true so resume knows to re-open. Resume rebuilds the datapath in __fbnic_pm_resume() and fbnic_reset_queues() sets num_napi and __fbnic_open() re-allocates the vectors. When the datapath is torn down but never rebuilt, num_napi is left pointing at freed vectors under 2 different scenarios: - a PCIe error recovery that fails (fbnic_err_slot_reset() -> __fbnic_pm_resume() returns an error -> PCI_ERS_RESULT_DISCONNECT), so .resume never runs; or - an __fbnic_open() that fails partway on resume and unwinds, freeing the vectors after fbnic_reset_queues() has already set num_napi. The netdev is then running with num_napi > 0 but napi[] freed, and the eventual remove/unbind close re-enters fbnic_down() -> fbnic_dbg_down() and dereferences the freed vectors: BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: eth: fbnic: Set AW_FLUSH_MODE alongside AW_FLUSH when flushing the mailbox When tearing down the FW mailbox Rx ring, fbnic_mbx_reset_desc_ring() writes AW_CFG with FLUSH set and everything else, BME included, cleared. Clearing BME halts the device's writes to the host but leaves the staged requests parked in the PUL write pipeline rather than draining them, so on the write path FLUSH alone never terminates the outstanding requests and the flush the firmware waits on never completes. Add the FLUSH_MODE definition and set both bits so the staged writes drain out of the pipeline on their own. BME stays cleared, so nothing lands on the host; it is restored later in fbnic_mbx_init_desc_ring() when the ring is rebuilt, once the outstanding writes are gone. The read path is unaffected. AR_CFG has no equivalent mode bit and AR_FLUSH terminates the outstanding reads by itself, so it is left as is. Both writes remain plain stores rather than read-modify-writes. That is deliberate: the matching write in fbnic_mbx_init_desc_ring() restores BME and the TLP attributes, and clears both flush bits as a side effect.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject non-negative offsets in stack_slot_obj_get_spi() bpf_get_spi() computes (-off - 1) / BPF_REG_SIZE using C division, which truncates toward zero. For off == 0, this produces spi 0, the same index used by the valid stack slot at fp-8. stack_slot_obj_get_spi() currently checks alignment and the resulting spi bounds, but does not reject the non-negative offset itself. It can therefore validate a PTR_TO_STACK register holding fp+0 against an iterator stored at fp-8 even though the runtime receives the actual fp+0 pointer. An effectful iterator kfunc can then interpret memory outside the BPF stack as iterator state. Reject non-negative offsets before converting the offset to an spi. All valid stack objects begin at a negative offset from the frame pointer.

  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: skbuff: fix pull-bound underflow in skb_checksum_setup_ipv6() skb_maybe_pull_tail() sCVE-2026-98573 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: skbuff: fix pull-bound underflow in skb_checksum_setup_ipv6() skb_maybe_pull_tail() subtracts skb_headlen(skb) from the unsigned max argument and passes the result to __pskb_pull_tail() as a signed int. The function does not ensure that max is at least skb_headlen(skb). This can happen while parsing IPv6 extension headers when an skb already has a linear area larger than MAX_IPV6_HDR_LEN. Once the parser needs data beyond the linear area, max - skb_headlen(skb) wraps and is converted to a negative delta. __pskb_pull_tail() then passes that negative length to skb_copy_bits(), where it can become a very large copy length. Pass the requested length itself as the pull bound at the three extension-header call sites, so the delta can no longer go negative.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
