Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-56730 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubLow 2.1
Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.0.2, an authorization bypass vulnerability was found that allows an authenticated agent to read knowledge base answer content they should not be able to access. The vulnerable GraphQL mutation is meant to transform a knowledge base answer suggestion so it can be inserted into the ticket editor, but it only checks if the user has the ticket.agent permission. Checking the authorization to the knowledge base answer itself is missing. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.0.2.

Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-56728 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.0.2, a broken access control vulnerability exists in Zammad's GraphQL API. An authenticated user can access taskbar item data belonging to another user by crafting a request with the target user's taskbar identifier. The taskbar feature stores transient state for active user sessions, including auto-saved ticket drafts. Under certain conditions, the authorization check for taskbar item access is not enforced, allowing a user to read another user's taskbar item data. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.0.2.

Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-56727 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.0.2, summary In Zammad's inbound PGP email processing, the return value of the gpg verification call was silently discarded. Regardless of whether gpg reported a valid, invalid, or missing signature, the handler unconditionally wrote sign: { success: true, comment: "Good signature" } to the article's security preferences. Impact Any sender could tamper with the body of a multipart/signed PGP email, or craft a message with an entirely fabricated or mismatched signature, and Zammad would display it to the recipient as cryptographically verified with a "Good signature" label. Users and agents relying on Zammad's signature indicator to confirm message authenticity and integrity would be misled into trusting modified or forged content. The vulnerability affects all inbound PGP-signed emails processed while the PGP integration is enabled. This issue is fixed in version 7.0.2.

Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-56726 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1
Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.0.2, this vulnerability breaks normal ticket isolation boundaries between agents. Any authenticated agent, even one with no active tickets assigned to them, can view the titles, status, labels, and URL links of GitHub/GitLab issues attached to any ticket in the system. This allows an internal user to systematically view GitHub/GitLab issue data linked by other agents or administrators across the organization by simply querying random or sequential ticket IDs. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.0.2.

Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-56725 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.0.2, summary An unauthenticated request to POST /api/v1/import/otrs/import_check blocks a Zammad request worker for roughly two minutes. The import_check and import_status actions are missing the setup_done_response guard that other actions in the same controller carry, so they execute on fully set-up production instances. The action enters a retry loop against a blank OTRS endpoint, sleeping for 30 s + 45 s between attempts. Impact An unauthenticated remote attacker denies service to a production Zammad instance. Each request costs almost nothing and forces ~115 seconds of server-side blocking. A few requests per second saturate the Puma worker pool. The condition persists as long as the traffic continues. No account, valid import configuration, or target knowledge beyond the hostname is needed. CSRF token is trivially obtained from any prior GET response. This issue is fixed in version 7.0.2.

Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-56729 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubLow 2.1
Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.0.2, when multiple KB categories have different editor roles assigned, a user with knowledge_base.editor in one category can see answer titles and updated_at timestamps from categories they do not have editor access to , via the global quick search. Category names are not leaked, and opening the answer returns "Page not found," but the title alone may disclose sensitive information. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.0.2.

Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.0.2, summary An issue with permission checks in the knowledge base management area has been identified. Under certain conditions, data validation for linked items was not fully enforced. This could have allowed users with limited read permissions to interact with items outside their assigned access scope. Data access has been strengthened in the current version through additional validation routines. This issue is fixed in version 7.0.2.

Sep 25, 2026Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system.CVE-2026-56723 · Other software · zammad · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
Zammad is a web based open source helpdesk/customer support system. Prior to 7.0.2, a customer who can view a ticket cannot see internal ticket articles through the article listing API. However, the same customer can directly request an attachment belonging to an internal article via the attachment download endpoint, bypassing article-level authorization. This results in an inconsistency: The article listing hides internal articles from customers. The attachment download only checks the parent ticket, not the article, so the same customer can download the attachment directly. This issue is fixed in version 7.0.2.

Sep 25, 2026InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments.CVE-2026-85293 · Other software · InvoicePlane · reported by GitHubMedium 4.8
InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. In version 1.7.2-beta-1, InvoicePlane stores client_email values without enforcing email syntax and renders them unescaped inside double-quoted value attributes in the invoice mailer form and quote mailer form. An administrator who can edit a client can store attribute-breaking input, and, when the mailer is configured, JavaScript executes when another authenticated administrator opens the related mailer page. The script runs in the InvoicePlane origin and can perform same-origin actions with the victim's session. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.2.

Sep 25, 2026InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments.CVE-2026-85292 · Other software · InvoicePlane · reported by GitHubMedium 4.8
InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane's User_Controller compares the session user_type value with the required role by using PHP's loose inequality operator. Under a non-standard session backend that returns unexpected scalar types, type juggling can cause a value that is not strictly the required role to pass the authorization check. This can permit authentication or authorization bypass in affected session configurations. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.2.

Sep 25, 2026InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments.CVE-2026-85291 · Other software · InvoicePlane · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane's Users::change_password() method accepts a user_id from the URL and updates that account's password without an object-level authorization check. An authenticated secondary administrator can target the primary administrator account and replace its password without knowing the current password. The attacker can then take over the primary account and access its data and privileges. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.2.

Sep 25, 2026InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments.CVE-2026-85290 · Other software · InvoicePlane · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane's Cron::recur() method writes an invalid cron key from the URL path directly to the application log without neutralizing CRLF characters. An unauthenticated requester can place forged log lines into the audit trail by supplying a crafted cron_key value. The injected entries can corrupt forensic records and interfere with log-based monitoring. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.2.

Sep 25, 2026InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments.CVE-2026-85289 · Other software · InvoicePlane · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane omits ensure_valid_post_request() from delete methods including Payments::delete(), Recurring::delete(), and User_clients::delete(). Although the routes require POST, they do not validate the request's CSRF token. An attacker can submit a cross-origin form through an authenticated administrator's browser to delete financial records and other application data. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.2.

InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane exposes Recurring::stop() as a state-changing GET route without CSRF token validation. When an authenticated administrator loads attacker-controlled content that requests /invoices/recurring/stop/{id}, the application stops the selected recurring invoice. An attacker can target multiple identifiers to interrupt recurring billing and cause financial loss. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.2.

Sep 25, 2026Piwigo is a full featured open source photo gallery application for the web.CVE-2026-62262 · Other software · Piwigo · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1
Piwigo is a full featured open source photo gallery application for the web. In 17.0.0beta1 and earlier, when rating is enabled, an unauthenticated guest can call pwg.images.filteredSearch.create with a crafted ratings[] value and then open the returned search URL. include/ws_functions/pwg.images.php stores the unvalidated value in the search rules, and include/functions_search.inc.php integer-casts only the lower rating bound while concatenating the raw value as the SQL upper bound. This allows error-based or blind extraction of database information and database-dependent time delays through the public search flow. No fixed version is available as of this review.

Sep 25, 2026InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments.CVE-2026-54790 · Other software · InvoicePlane · reported by GitHubMedium 6
InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane stores an administrator-controlled custom_field_table value without validating it against the allowed custom-field table names. Mdl_custom_fields::used() later concatenates that stored value into the FROM table and WHERE column identifier positions, so opening the custom-field edit form executes a second-order SQL injection. The injection can query arbitrary schema data and can cause application errors or denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.2.

Sep 25, 2026InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments.CVE-2026-50547 · Other software · InvoicePlane · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane's Invoices::generate_xml() method appends a database-derived xml_id to the XMLconfigs helper directory and includes the resulting PHP path without validating the identifier. A low-privileged attacker who can influence the e-invoice configuration can use traversal sequences to include an existing PHP file. The standalone advisory establishes local file inclusion; code execution requires a separate file-upload or file-write primitive. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.2.

InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane exposes Invoices::delete() and Invoices::delete_invoice_tax() as state-changing routes without requiring POST and validating a CSRF token. When an authenticated administrator loads attacker-controlled content that requests an affected route, the application can delete an invoice or invoice tax record. The cross-origin action can remove financial data without the administrator's intent. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.2.

Sep 25, 2026Piwigo is a full featured open source photo gallery application for the web.CVE-2026-44642 · Other software · Piwigo · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
Piwigo is a full featured open source photo gallery application for the web. Prior to 16.4.0, check_upgrade_access_rights() in admin/include/functions_upgrade.php conditionally escapes the submitted username only when the removed get_magic_quotes_gpc function exists, so PHP 8 and later concatenate an unauthenticated username directly into the upgrade authentication SQL query. When database upgrades are pending, a crafted query result can satisfy the status and password checks, set PHPWG_IN_UPGRADE, and authorize upgrade execution without valid administrator credentials. This can cause unauthorized database integrity changes and service disruption. This vulnerability is fixed in 16.4.0.

Sep 25, 2026Piwigo is a full featured open source photo gallery application for the web.CVE-2026-42324 · Other software · Piwigo · reported by GitHubHigh 7.2
Piwigo is a full featured open source photo gallery application for the web. Prior to 16.4.0, admin/element_set_ranks.php stores administrator-controlled image_order[] values without enforcing the existing sort-field whitelist. The stored album image_order expression is later concatenated into ORDER BY clauses by admin/batch_manager_global.php, admin/batch_manager_unit.php, include/section_init.inc.php, and include/ws_functions/pwg.categories.php. Sep 25, 2026Piwigo is a full featured open source photo gallery application for the web.CVE-2026-42323 · Other software · Piwigo · reported by GitHubHigh 7.2
Piwigo is a full featured open source photo gallery application for the web. Prior to 16.4.0, admin/batch_manager.php accepts administrator-controlled dimension width, height, and ratio values and filesize values from the Batch Manager filter URL without numeric validation. The URL filter parser stores those values in the bulk_manager_filter session state, and later query construction concatenates them into SQL predicates, unlike the validated POST filter path. Piwigo is a full featured open source photo gallery application for the web. Prior to 16.4.0, admin/themes_standard_pages.php validates uploaded logo content by MIME type but reuses the attacker-controlled extension from std_pgs_logo when constructing the stored filename. An authenticated administrator can upload image content with a server-executable final extension, causing the file to be placed in the web-accessible logo directory and executed when requested if the web server handles that extension. This can permit arbitrary command execution, data disclosure, modification, persistence, and service disruption. This vulnerability is fixed in 16.4.0.

Sep 25, 2026InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments.CVE-2026-39372 · Other software · InvoicePlane · reported by GitHubMedium 4.9
InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane stores and serves uploaded image attachments without stripping EXIF metadata. When an administrator uploads an image through invoice attachments, quote attachments, or another attachment feature and shares it with another user, the recipient can retrieve embedded GPS coordinates, timestamps, and device information. InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2-rc-1, InvoicePlane builds its permitted template list by scanning a PHP template directory that can be written through an administrator-controlled file-write capability. A malicious PHP file placed in the directory is automatically trusted by Mdl_templates and can be selected as public_invoice_template. Sep 24, 2026ZITADEL is an open source identity management platform.CVE-2026-85057 · Other software · zitadel · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
ZITADEL is an open source identity management platform. From 3.0.0 until 3.4.13 and 4.16.1, ZITADEL Actions V1 enables the goja Node-compatible require() registry without restricting its filesystem source loader. An organization Action author with ORG_OWNER, org.action.write, and org.flow.write permissions can run JavaScript at OIDC, SAML, and login-flow trigger points and load files readable by the ZITADEL server process. This can disclose mounted configuration and secrets, including credentials stored through ZITADEL_FIRSTINSTANCE_LOGINCLIENTPATPATH or ZITADEL_FIRSTINSTANCE_MACHINEKEYPATH, and recovered bootstrap credentials can enable escalation from an organization administrator to an instance administrator. Sep 24, 2026ZITADEL is an open source identity management platform.CVE-2026-85056 · Other software · zitadel · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
ZITADEL is an open source identity management platform. From 4.0.0 until 4.16.1, ZITADEL Login V2 creates a browser session after password verification and can reuse that session for a later authentication request without verifying a user's enrolled TOTP, OTP, or U2F second factor. When the MFA step is abandoned and login starts again, session-validity checks require MFA only when the organization enables Force MFA or Force MFA for local users only, so a voluntarily enrolled factor can be skipped while completing an OIDC or SAML callback for a customer application. Login V1, the ZITADEL Console, Management and Admin APIs, and user self-management are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.16.1.

Sep 24, 2026OpenWA is a free, open source, self-hosted WhatsApp API gateway.CVE-2026-91161 · Other software · rmyndharis · reported by GitHubMedium 6.4
OpenWA is a free, open source, self-hosted WhatsApp API gateway. Prior to 0.23.5, the GET /api/sessions/{sessionId}/groups/{groupId}/invite-code endpoint and the GroupGetInviteCode MCP tool have no OPERATOR role requirement, allowing a valid VIEWER key scoped to a session to retrieve an active group invite code. The invite code is a transferable WhatsApp bearer capability, so an external account can join a group administered by the session without an OpenWA credential, gain read and post access to the group, and retain membership after the VIEWER key is revoked. Affected deployments are those that issue VIEWER keys to parties who should not be able to add accounts to administered groups; OPERATOR and ADMIN access is intended. Sep 24, 2026phpMyFAQ is an open source FAQ web application.CVE-2026-56738 · Other software · thorsten · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5
phpMyFAQ is an open source FAQ web application. The `StopWords::add()` method inversions prior to 4.1.6 builds a SQL `INSERT` statement using `sprintf()` and inserts the user-supplied stop word value directly into the query string without calling the application's database escaping function on it. A sibling method, `StopWords::update()`, which modifies an existing stop word, correctly escapes the same kind of input. The omission is isolated to the `add()` (insert) code path. An authenticated administrator who can reach the stop-word management feature can submit a crafted value as the "word" parameter that breaks out of the SQL string literal and injects arbitrary SQL, including statements to drop tables, exfiltrate data, or modify other rows in the database. Version 4.1.6 fixes the issue.

Sep 24, 2026phpMyFAQ is an open source FAQ web application.CVE-2026-56737 · Other software · thorsten · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
phpMyFAQ is an open source FAQ web application. Versions 3.2.0 through 4.1.5 contain an authentication bypass in its public two-factor authentication verification flow: an unauthenticated attacker can submit an account’s numeric user ID and a valid or brute-forced six-digit TOTP code without first authenticating with the account password, allowing takeover of any 2FA-enabled account, including administrator accounts. Version 4.1.6 is patched by binding TOTP verification to a session established after successful password authentication and limiting failed TOTP attempts. No official workaround is documented; affected installations should upgrade to 4.1.6 or later.

Sep 24, 2026phpMyFAQ is an open source FAQ web application.CVE-2026-56736 · Other software · thorsten · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
phpMyFAQ is an open source FAQ web application. A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in versions prior to 4.2.0-alpha allows any unauthenticated user (or low-privileged registered user) to inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes in an administrator's browser when they review or edit a user-submitted FAQ entry. This leads to admin account takeover via session theft. The vulnerability exists because `html_entity_decode()` converts HTML entities into executable HTML after `strip_tags()` has already passed them through, and the admin template renders the content with Twig's `|raw` filter without any output sanitization. Version 4.2.0-alpha fixes the issue.

Prior to 2.6.0, OpenBao Agent's exec rendering mode could write secrets from env_template to standard output when command/agent/exec/exec.go re-created the template runner after repeated rendering failures, primarily after num_retries was reached. A process supervisor, log collector, or local user able to read that output could obtain the rendered secret values. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.0.

Sep 23, 2026OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system.CVE-2026-63132 · Other software · openbao · reported by GitHubCritical 9.2
OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system. Prior to 2.6.0, OpenBao's handleLogicalRecovery path in http/logical.go compared the highly privileged recovery token with ordinary string equality. A remote unauthenticated attacker able to make repeated recovery mode requests and measure response timing could infer the recovery token. The recovered token could then authorize recovery mode operations that read or modify OpenBao data. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.0.

Sep 23, 2026OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system.CVE-2026-63131 · Other software · openbao · reported by GitHubMedium 6
OpenBao is an open source identity-based secrets management system. Prior to 2.6.0, OpenBao's vault/policy/acl.go could evaluate a broader wildcard ACL grant before more-specific trailing-wildcard ACL paths with capabilities = ["deny"] for a LIST operation. When a parent path permitted LIST and a child path was denied, the trailing-slash lookup could therefore allow listing the denied path. Other operation types are outside the repository advisory's affected scope. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.0.

Sep 23, 2026Jawn is an open source JSON parser.CVE-2026-61814 · Other software · typelevel · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Jawn is an open source JSON parser. Prior to 1.7.0, Jawn's AsyncParser can perform quadratic work when a single JSON token is delivered across many small chunks because each absorb call rescans the incomplete token from the start. A remote attacker who controls untrusted JSON input and its chunk sizes can exhaust CPU resources and cause denial of service in applications using AsyncParser. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.0.

Sep 23, 2026Jawn is an open source JSON parser.CVE-2026-59990 · Other software · typelevel · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Jawn is an open source JSON parser. Prior to 1.7.0, Jawn parse methods accept arbitrarily deep JSON array and object nesting without a depth limit, allowing a remote attacker who can submit untrusted JSON to grow parser contexts until the JVM heap is exhausted. The resulting java.lang.OutOfMemoryError is a fatal Scala error that is not ordinarily handled by scala.util.Try or cats.effect.IO, causing denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.0.

Sep 22, 2026MPXJ is an open source library to read and write project plans from a variety of file formats and databases.CVE-2026-65829 · Other software · joniles · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
MPXJ is an open source library to read and write project plans from a variety of file formats and databases. From 7.3.0 until 16.5.0, reading a suitably crafted Primavera P3 PRX or SureTrak STX file can cause MPXJ to write files to arbitrary locations in the filesystem. This issue is fixed in version 16.5.0.

Sep 22, 2026MPXJ is an open source library to read and write project plans from a variety of file formats and databases.CVE-2026-61570 · Other software · joniles · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
MPXJ is an open source library to read and write project plans from a variety of file formats and databases. From 5.5.5 until 16.4.1, MerlinReader creates a DocumentBuilder with default settings while parsing XML from the ZTIMEINTERVALS column of a Merlin project SQLite database, leaving doctype declarations and external entities enabled. A crafted database can cause the parser to read an arbitrary local file, although MPXJ's subsequent handling of the parsed XML makes disclosure of the file contents unlikely. This issue is fixed in version 16.4.1.

Sep 22, 2026Spree is an open source e-commerce solution built with Ruby on Rails.CVE-2026-94462 · Other software · spree · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
Spree is an open source e-commerce solution built with Ruby on Rails. From 5.4.0 until 5.4.4 and 5.5.4, PATCH /api/v3/store/carts/:id/associate in Spree::Api::V3::Store::CartsController#associate uses find_cart_for_association to locate a cart by prefixed_id but does not require a cart token or otherwise verify possession of the selected guest cart. An authenticated customer can derive reversible prefixed cart IDs, associate an eligible guest cart with the attacker's account, and receive billing and shipping address data from the cart. Exploitation requires a guest cart with address data on a store that does not require login for checkout, and reassignment can also disrupt the guest's in-progress cart. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.4 and 5.5.4.

Sep 22, 2026Home Assistant is open source home automation software focused on local control and privacy.CVE-2026-91130 · Other software · home-assistant · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3
Home Assistant is open source home automation software focused on local control and privacy. Prior to 2026.7.0, the Statistics Graph card in src/components/chart/statistics-chart.ts passed entity names through getStatisticLabel and computeStateName and interpolated param.seriesName into ECharts tooltip HTML without escaping. An authenticated user or an integration that supplies a malicious default entity name could cause script-related HTML to execute when a viewer hovered over a data point. Mean, State, Sum, and Change fields in the default Line chart configuration were affected, while Bar charts were not. This issue is fixed in version 2026.7.0.

Sep 22, 2026Home Assistant is open source home automation software focused on local control and privacy.CVE-2026-91129 · Other software · home-assistant · reported by GitHubMedium 5.4
Home Assistant is open source home automation software focused on local control and privacy. Prior to 2026.2.3, the IPP integration automatically processed unauthenticated _ipp._tcp.local mDNS announcements in homeassistant/components/ipp/config_flow.py, where async_step_zeroconf passed attacker-controlled host, port, and base_path values to validate_input for printer metadata retrieval. Because the shared HTTP client followed attacker-controlled cross-origin redirects without blocking loopback targets, a local-network attacker could redirect the request to 127.0.0.1 or another internal service without user interaction or prior IPP configuration. This issue is fixed in version 2026.2.3.

Sep 22, 2026Netdata is an open source observability tool.CVE-2026-83597 · Other software · netdata · reported by GitHubHigh 7
Netdata is an open source observability tool. From version 2.0.0 until 2.10.4, Netdata Windows Agent MSI repair launches powershell.exe and wevtutil.exe as elevated interactive processes in the initiating user's desktop session. A low-privileged local user who triggers repair can interact with or hijack those visible process windows to execute arbitrary commands with SYSTEM privileges. This issue is fixed in stable version 2.10.4.

Sep 22, 2026Netdata is an open source observability tool.CVE-2026-83603 · Other software · netdata · reported by GitHubHigh 8.4
Netdata is an open source observability tool. Prior to 2.10.4, the setuid-root ndsudo helper command fail2ban-client-status-socket in src/collectors/utils/ndsudo.c accepts a caller-controlled --socket_path from the low-privileged netdata service account. The account can direct root fail2ban-client to a malicious UNIX socket, and fail2ban/client/csocket.py CSocket.receive() passes the returned data to pickle.loads(), allowing attacker-controlled code to execute as root on systems with fail2ban-client installed. This issue is fixed in version 2.10.4 and nightly build 2.10.0-782-nightly.

Sep 22, 2026Netdata is an open source observability tool.CVE-2026-83602 · Other software · netdata · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Netdata is an open source observability tool. From 2.0.0 until 2.11.0, Netdata registers /api/v3/settings in src/web/api/v3/web_api_v3.c with HTTP_ACL_NOCHECK and HTTP_ACCESS_ANONYMOUS_DATA, causing unauthenticated PUT requests handled by src/web/api/v3/api_v3_settings.c to bypass operator-configured allow dashboard from IP restrictions. A network-reachable caller can persist attacker-controlled JSON in {varlib}/settings/default.json, manipulate its version counter, and use repeated near-20 MiB writes to consume disk space, although the file does not control collection or security policy. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.11.0.

Sep 22, 2026Netdata is an open source observability tool.CVE-2026-83601 · Other software · netdata · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Netdata is an open source observability tool. Prior to 2.10.4, an authenticated child agent can send an oversized DIMENSION SLOT value that str2ull_encoded passes to pluginsd_rrddim_put_to_slot in src/plugins.d/pluginsd_internals.h without an upper bound. prd_array_create in src/database/rrdset-pluginsd-array.h can then wrap the size_t allocation calculation while retaining the original large array size, causing the subsequent initialization loop to write beyond the undersized heap allocation and crash the parent agent. This issue is fixed in version 2.10.4 and nightly build 2.10.0-782-nightly.

Sep 22, 2026Netdata is an open source observability tool.CVE-2026-83600 · Other software · netdata · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Netdata is an open source observability tool. Prior to 2.10.4, an authenticated child agent can send an oversized CHART SLOT value that str2ull_encoded passes to pluginsd_rrdset_cache_put_to_slot in src/plugins.d/pluginsd_internals.h. The accepted slot drives reallocz to request an approximately 16 GiB chart-pointer array, and allocation failure invokes fatal and aborts the parent Netdata agent, repeatedly disabling centralized monitoring while stream access persists. This issue is fixed in version 2.10.4 and nightly build 2.10.0-782-nightly.

Sep 22, 2026Netdata is an open source observability tool.CVE-2026-83599 · Other software · netdata · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Netdata is an open source observability tool. Prior to 2.11.0, Netdata's unauthenticated WebSocket server negotiates permessage-deflate before authentication, and src/web/websocket/websocket-compression.c allows websocket_client_decompress_message() to grow decompressed output toward WS_MAX_DECOMPRESSED_SIZE without enforcing a compressed-to-decompressed ratio. Small highly compressed frames can therefore cause large server-side allocations, and repeated concurrent connections can exhaust memory and terminate monitoring. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.11.0.
