Jul 10, 2025A flaw was found in libxslt where the attribute type, atype, flags are modified in a way that corrupts internal memory management.CVE-2025-7425 · Other software · GNOME · reported by Red HatHigh 7.8
A flaw was found in libxslt where the attribute type, atype, flags are modified in a way that corrupts internal memory management. When XSLT functions, such as the key() process, result in tree fragments, this corruption prevents the proper cleanup of ID attributes. As a result, the system may access freed memory, causing crashes or enabling attackers to trigger heap corruption.

Jun 18, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: LAG, fix logic over MLX5_LAG_FLAG_NDEVS_READY Only set MLX5_LAG_FLAG_NDEVS_READYCVE-2022-50002 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: LAG, fix logic over MLX5_LAG_FLAG_NDEVS_READY Only set MLX5_LAG_FLAG_NDEVS_READY if both netdevices are registered. Doing so guarantees that both ldev->pf[MLX5_LAG_P0].dev and ldev->pf[MLX5_LAG_P1].dev have valid pointers when MLX5_LAG_FLAG_NDEVS_READY is set. The core issue is asymmetry in setting MLX5_LAG_FLAG_NDEVS_READY and clearing it. Setting it is done wrongly when both ldev->pf[MLX5_LAG_P0].dev and ldev->pf[MLX5_LAG_P1].dev are set; clearing it is done right when either of ldev->pf[i].netdev is cleared. Consider the following scenario: 1. PF0 loads and sets ldev->pf[MLX5_LAG_P0].dev to a valid pointer 2. PF1 loads and sets both ldev->pf[MLX5_LAG_P1].dev and ldev->pf[MLX5_LAG_P1].netdev with valid pointers. This results in MLX5_LAG_FLAG_NDEVS_READY is set. 3. PF0 is unloaded before setting dev->pf[MLX5_LAG_P0].netdev. MLX5_LAG_FLAG_NDEVS_READY remains set. Further execution of mlx5_do_bond() will result in null pointer dereference when calling mlx5_lag_is_multipath() This patch fixes the following call trace actually encountered: [ 1293.475195] BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference,

It seems that the cause is simply that commit c2b27ef672992a20 ("Input: iforce - wait for command completion when closing the device") forgot to call wake_up() after clear_bit(). Fix this problem by introducing a helper that calls clear_bit() followed by wake_up_all().

May 20, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: light: opt3001: fix deadlock due to concurrent flag access The threaded IRQ function CVE-2025-37968 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: light: opt3001: fix deadlock due to concurrent flag access The threaded IRQ function in this driver is reading the flag twice: once to lock a mutex and once to unlock it. Even though the code setting the flag is designed to prevent it, there are subtle cases where the flag could be true at the mutex_lock stage and false at the mutex_unlock stage. This results in the mutex not being unlocked, resulting in a deadlock. Fix it by making the opt3001_irq() code generally more robust, reading the flag into a variable and using the variable value at both stages.

May 2, 2025Flags SDK is an open-source feature flags toolkit for Next.js and SvelteKit.CVE-2025-46332 · Other software · vercel · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Flags SDK is an open-source feature flags toolkit for Next.js and SvelteKit. Impacted versions include flags from 3.2.0 and prior and @vercel/flags from 3.1.1 and prior as certain circumstances allows a bad actor with detailed knowledge of the vulnerability to list all flags returned by the flags discovery endpoint (.well-known/vercel/flags). This vulnerability allows for information disclosure, where a bad actor could gain access to a list of all feature flags exposed through the flags discovery endpoint, including the flag names, flag descriptions, available options and their labels (e.g. true, false), and default flag values. This issue has been patched in flags@4.0.0, users of flags and @vercel/flags should also migrate to flags@4.0.0.

May 2, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bonding: restore bond's IFF_SLAVE flag if a non-eth dev enslave fails syzbot reported a waCVE-2023-53103 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bonding: restore bond's IFF_SLAVE flag if a non-eth dev enslave fails syzbot reported a warning[1] where the bond device itself is a slave and we try to enslave a non-ethernet device as the first slave which fails but then in the error path when ether_setup() restores the bond device it also clears all flags. In my previous fix[2] I restored the IFF_MASTER flag, but I didn't consider the case that the bond device itself might also be a slave with IFF_SLAVE set, so we need to restore that flag as well. Use the bond_ether_setup helper which does the right thing and restores the bond's flags properly. Steps to reproduce using a nlmon dev: $ ip l add nlmon0 type nlmon $ ip l add bond1 type bond $ ip l add bond2 type bond $ ip l set bond1 master bond2 $ ip l set dev nlmon0 master bond1 $ ip -d l sh dev bond1 22: bond1: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,MASTER> mtu 1500 qdisc noqueue master bond2 state DOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000 (now bond1's IFF_SLAVE flag is gone and we'll hit a warning[3] if we try to delete it) [1] https://syzkaller.appspot.com/bug?id=391c7b1f6522182899efba27d891f1743e8eb3ef [2] commit

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Fix race where eprobes can be called before the event The flag that tells the event to call its triggers after reading the event is set for eprobes after the eprobe is enabled. This leads to a race where the eprobe may be triggered at the beginning of the event where the record information is NULL. The eprobe then dereferences the NULL record causing a NULL kernel pointer bug. Test for a NULL record to keep this from happening.

Apr 24, 2025An XSS issue was discovered in the Flag module before 1.x-3.6.2 for Backdrop CMS.CVE-2025-46595 · Other software · backdropcms · reported by MITREMedium 6.4
An XSS issue was discovered in the Flag module before 1.x-3.6.2 for Backdrop CMS. Flag is a module that allows flags to be added to nodes, comments, users, and any other type of entity. It doesn't verify flag links before performing the flag action, or verify that the response returned was provided by the flag module. This can allow crafted HTML to result in Cross Site Scripting. This is mitigated by the fact that an attacker must have a role with permission to create links on the website, for example: create or edit comments or content with a filtered text format.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md/raid1,raid10: don't ignore IO flags If blk-wbt is enabled by default, it's found that raid write performance is quite bad because all IO are throttled by wbt of underlying disks, due to flag REQ_IDLE is ignored. And turns out this behaviour exist since blk-wbt is introduced. Other than REQ_IDLE, other flags should not be ignored as well, for example REQ_META can be set for filesystems, clearing it can cause priority reverse problems; And REQ_NOWAIT should not be cleared as well, because io will wait instead of failing directly in underlying disks. Fix those problems by keep IO flags from master bio. Fises: f51d46d0e7cb ("md: add support for REQ_NOWAIT")

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Fix use-after-free in print_graph_function_flags during tracer switching Kairui reported a UAF issue in print_graph_function_flags() during ftrace stress testing [1]. This issue can be reproduced if puting a 'mdelay(10)' after 'mutex_unlock(&trace_types_lock)' in s_start(), and executing the following script: $ echo function_graph > current_tracer $ cat trace > /dev/null & $ sleep 5 # Ensure the 'cat' reaches the 'mdelay(10)' point $ echo timerlat > current_tracer The root cause lies in the two calls to print_graph_function_flags within print_trace_line during each s_show(): * One through 'iter->trace->print_line()'; * Another through 'event->funcs->trace()', which is hidden in print_trace_fmt() before print_trace_line returns. Tracer switching only updates the former, while the latter continues to use the print_line function of the old tracer, which in the script above is print_graph_function_flags. Moreover, when switching from the 'function_graph' tracer to the 'timerlat' tracer, s_start only calls graph_trace_close of the 'function_graph' tracer to free 'iter->private', but does

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: nl80211: reject cooked mode if it is set along with other flags It is possible to set both MONITOR_FLAG_COOK_FRAMES and MONITOR_FLAG_ACTIVE flags simultaneously on the same monitor interface from the userspace. This causes a sub-interface to be created with no IEEE80211_SDATA_IN_DRIVER bit set because the monitor interface is in the cooked state and it takes precedence over all other states. When the interface is then being deleted the kernel calls WARN_ONCE() from check_sdata_in_driver() because of missing that bit. Fix this by rejecting MONITOR_FLAG_COOK_FRAMES if it is set along with other flags. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with Syzkaller.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm: memory-failure: update ttu flag inside unmap_poisoned_folio Patch series "mm: memory_failure: unmap poisoned folio during migrate properly", v3. Fix two bugs during folio migration if the folio is poisoned. This patch (of 3): Commit 6da6b1d4a7df ("mm/hwpoison: convert TTU_IGNORE_HWPOISON to TTU_HWPOISON") introduce TTU_HWPOISON to replace TTU_IGNORE_HWPOISON in order to stop send SIGBUS signal when accessing an error page after a memory error on a clean folio. However during page migration, anon folio must be set with TTU_HWPOISON during unmap_*(). For pagecache we need some policy just like the one in hwpoison_user_mappings to set this flag. So move this policy from hwpoison_user_mappings to unmap_poisoned_folio to handle this warning properly. Warning will be produced during unamp poison folio with the following log: ------------[ cut here ]------------ WARNING: CPU: 1 PID: 365 at mm/rmap.c:1847 try_to_unmap_one+0x8fc/0xd3c Modules linked in: CPU: 1 UID: 0 PID: 365 Comm: bash Tainted: G W 6.13.0-rc1-00018-gacdb4bbda7ab #42 Tainted: [W]=WARN Hardware name: QEMU QEMU Virtu

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: dwc: ep: Prevent changing BAR size/flags in pci_epc_set_bar() In commit 4284c88fff0e ("PCI: designware-ep: Allow pci_epc_set_bar() update inbound map address") set_bar() was modified to support dynamically changing the backing physical address of a BAR that was already configured. This means that set_bar() can be called twice, without ever calling clear_bar() (as calling clear_bar() would clear the BAR's PCI address assigned by the host). This can only be done if the new BAR size/flags does not differ from the existing BAR configuration. Add these missing checks. If we allow set_bar() to set e.g. a new BAR size that differs from the existing BAR size, the new address translation range will be smaller than the BAR size already determined by the host, which would mean that a read past the new BAR size would pass the iATU untranslated, which could allow the host to read memory not belonging to the new struct pci_epf_bar. While at it, add comments which clarifies the support for dynamically changing the physical address of a BAR. (Which was also missing.)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: stackdepot: fix stack_depot_save_flags() in NMI context Per documentation, stack_depot_save_flags() was meant to be usable from NMI context if STACK_DEPOT_FLAG_CAN_ALLOC is unset. However, it still would try to take the pool_lock in an attempt to save a stack trace in the current pool (if space is available). This could result in deadlock if an NMI is handled while pool_lock is already held. To avoid deadlock, only try to take the lock in NMI context and give up if unsuccessful. The documentation is fixed to clearly convey this.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/iucv: MSG_PEEK causes memory leak in iucv_sock_destruct() Passing MSG_PEEK flag to skb_recv_datagram() increments skb refcount (skb->users) and iucv_sock_recvmsg() does not decrement skb refcount at exit. This results in skb memory leak in skb_queue_purge() and WARN_ON in iucv_sock_destruct() during socket close. To fix this decrease skb refcount by one if MSG_PEEK is set in order to prevent memory leak and WARN_ON. Nov 19, 2024In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tpm: Lock TPM chip in tpm_pm_suspend() first Setting TPM_CHIP_FLAG_SUSPENDED in the end ofCVE-2024-53085 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tpm: Lock TPM chip in tpm_pm_suspend() first Setting TPM_CHIP_FLAG_SUSPENDED in the end of tpm_pm_suspend() can be racy according, as this leaves window for tpm_hwrng_read() to be called while the operation is in progress. The recent bug report gives also evidence of this behaviour. Aadress this by locking the TPM chip before checking any chip->flags both in tpm_pm_suspend() and tpm_hwrng_read(). Move TPM_CHIP_FLAG_SUSPENDED check inside tpm_get_random() so that it will be always checked only when the lock is reserved.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
