Jun 9, 2026Events Calendar for GeoDirectory: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-11616 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8
The Events Calendar for GeoDirectory plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in versions up to and including 2.3.28. This is due to the ajax_ayi_action() handler only applying strip_tags(esc_sql()) — with no allow-list — to the attacker-controlled $_POST['type'] and $_POST['postid'] values before forwarding them to update_ayi_data(), which calls update_user_meta($current_user->ID, $rsvp_args['type'], $posts). By passing type=wp_capabilities and postid=administrator, an attacker writes ['subscriber'=>true,'administrator'=>'administrator'] into their own wp_capabilities user meta; WP_User::get_role_caps() then treats the 'administrator' array key as an active role on the next request. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to elevate their privileges to Administrator.

Jun 5, 2026LatePoint – Calendar Booking Plugin for Appointments and Events: Cross-Site Request ForgeryCVE-2026-9719 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The LatePoint – Calendar Booking Plugin for Appointments and Events plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 5.6.0. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the change_status function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to change the status of arbitrary invoices — including marking unpaid invoices as paid — without administrator consent via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

Jun 5, 2026Event Monster – Event Management, Events Calendar, Tickets: Insufficient Verification of Data AuthenticityCVE-2026-8608 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The Event Monster – Event Management, Events Calendar, Tickets plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity in versions up to, and including, 2.1.0. This is due to the capture_payment() AJAX handler (registered via wp_ajax_nopriv_em_capture_payment) trusting client-supplied payment data — including transaction ID, amount, and payment status — without performing any server-side verification against the PayPal API or any other payment gateway, and without nonce or capability checks. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to forge payment records, mark bookings as Completed, and obtain confirmation emails containing valid QR code tickets without making any actual payment.

May 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipmi: Add limits to event and receive message requests The driver would just fetch events CVE-2026-46177 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipmi: Add limits to event and receive message requests The driver would just fetch events and receive messages until the BMC said it was done. To avoid issues with BMCs that never say they are done, add a limit of 10 fetches at a time. In addition, an si interface has an attn state it can return from the hardware which is supposed to cause a flag fetch to see if the driver needs to fetch events or message or a few other things. If the attn bit gets stuck, it's a similar problem. So allow messages in between flag fetches so the driver itself doesn't get stuck. This is a more general fix than the previous fix for the specific bad BMC, but should fix the more general issue of a BMC that won't stop saying it has data. This has been there from the beginning of the driver. It's not a bug per-se, but it is accounting for bugs in BMCs.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: eventfs: Hold eventfs_mutex and SRCU when remount walks events Commit 340f0c7067a9 ("eventfs: Update all the eventfs_inodes from the events descriptor") had eventfs_set_attrs() recurse through ei->children on remount. The walk only holds the rcu_read_lock() taken by tracefs_apply_options() over tracefs_inodes, which is wrong: - list_for_each_entry over ei->children races with the list_del_rcu() in eventfs_remove_rec() -- LIST_POISON1 deref, same shape as d2603279c7d6. - eventfs_inodes are freed via call_srcu(&eventfs_srcu, ...). rcu_read_lock() does not extend an SRCU grace period, so ti->private can be reclaimed under the walk. - The writes to ei->attr race with eventfs_set_attr(), which holds eventfs_mutex. Reproducer: while :; do mount -o remount,uid=$((RANDOM%1000)) /sys/kernel/tracing; done & while :; do echo "p:kp submit_bio" > /sys/kernel/tracing/kprobe_events echo > /sys/kernel/tracing/kprobe_events done Wrap the events portion of tracefs_apply_options() in eventfs_remount_lock()/_unlock() that take eventfs_mutex and srcu_read_lock(&eventfs_srcu). eventfs_

May 27, 2026Events In City: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-8898 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Events In City plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'org-events' shortcode in versions up to, and including, 3.0. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes (such as 'organizer_id', 'width', 'height', 'transparency', 'header', 'border', and 'layout') in the org_event_scode() function. The attribute values are concatenated directly into HTML attributes without esc_attr(). May 26, 2026eventsource-encoder encodes events as well-formed EventSource/Server Sent Event (SSE) messages.CVE-2026-44214 · Other software · rexxars · reported by GitHubMedium 5.8
eventsource-encoder encodes events as well-formed EventSource/Server Sent Event (SSE) messages. Prior to 1.0.2, eventsource-encoder does not sanitize the event or id fields of an EventSourceMessage before serializing them. An attacker who controls either field can inject arbitrary Server-Sent Events line terminators (\n, \r, or \r\n) and thereby forge additional SSE fields or entire messages on the stream. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.2.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: Ignore -EBUSY when checking nested events from vcpu_block() Ignore -EBUSY when checking nested events after exiting a blocking state while L2 is active, as exiting to userspace will generate a spurious userspace exit, usually with KVM_EXIT_UNKNOWN, and likely lead to the VM's demise. Continuing with the wakeup isn't perfect either, as *something* has gone sideways if a vCPU is awakened in L2 with an injected event (or worse, a nested run pending), but continuing on gives the VM a decent chance of surviving without any major side effects. As explained in the Fixes commits, it _should_ be impossible for a vCPU to be put into a blocking state with an already-injected event (exception, IRQ, or NMI). Unfortunately, userspace can stuff MP_STATE and/or injected events, and thus put the vCPU into what should be an impossible state. Don't bother trying to preserve the WARN, e.g. with an anti-syzkaller Kconfig, as WARNs can (hopefully) be added in paths where _KVM_ would be violating x86 architecture, e.g. by WARNing if KVM attempts to inject an exception or interrupt while the vCPU isn't running.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clockevents: Add missing resets of the next_event_forced flag The prevention mechanism against timer interrupt starvation missed to reset the next_event_forced flag in a couple of places: - When the clock event state changes. That can cause the flag to be stale over a shutdown/startup sequence - When a non-forced event is armed, which then prevents rearming before that event. If that event is far out in the future this will cause missed timer interrupts. - In the suspend wakeup handler. That led to stalls which have been reported by several people. Add the missing resets, which fixes the problems for the reporters.

Apr 21, 2026ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies.CVE-2026-40604 · Other software · craigjbass · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies. Prior to 5.0.6, the opfilter Endpoint Security system extension (bundle ID uk.craigbass.clearancekit.opfilter) can be suspended with SIGSTOP or kill -STOP, or killed with SIGKILL/SIGTERM, by any process running as root. While the extension is suspended, all AUTH Endpoint Security events time out and default to allow, silently disabling ClearanceKit's file-access policy enforcement for the duration of the suspension. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.0.6.

Apr 16, 2026My Calendar is a WordPress plugin for managing calendar events.CVE-2026-40308 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
My Calendar is a WordPress plugin for managing calendar events. In versions 3.7.6 and below, the mc_ajax_mcjs_action AJAX endpoint, registered for unauthenticated users, passes user-supplied arguments through parse_str() without validation, allowing injection of arbitrary parameters including a site value. On WordPress Multisite installations, this enables an unauthenticated attacker to call switch_to_blog() with an arbitrary site ID and extract calendar events from any sub-site on the network, including private or hidden events. On standard Single Site installations, switch_to_blog() does not exist, causing an uncaught PHP fatal error and crashing the worker thread, creating an unauthenticated denial of service vector. This issue has been fixed in version 3.7.7.

- What to do
- Update the plugin to 3.7.7 or newer.

Apr 10, 2026ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies.CVE-2026-40191 · Other software · craigjbass · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8
ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies. Prior to 5.0.4-beta-1f46165, ClearanceKit's Endpoint Security event handler only checked the source path of dual-path file operations against File Access Authorization (FAA) rules and App Jail policies. The destination path was ignored entirely. This allowed any local process to bypass file-access protection by using rename, link, copyfile, exchangedata, or clone operations to place or replace files inside protected directories. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.0.4-beta-1f46165.

A new API endpoint introduced in pretix 2025 that is supposed to return all check-in events of a specific event in fact returns all check-in events belonging to the respective organizer. This allows an API consumer to access information for all other events under the same organizer, even those they should not have access to. These records contain information on the time and result of every ticket scan as well as the ID of the matched ticket. Example: { "id": 123, "successful": true, "error_reason": null, "error_explanation": null, "position": 321, "datetime": "2020-08-23T09:00:00+02:00", "list": 456, "created": "2020-08-23T09:00:00+02:00", "auto_checked_in": false, "gate": null, "device": 1, "device_id": 1, "type": "entry" } An unauthorized user usually has no way to match these IDs (position) back to individual people.

Apr 7, 2026Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar – Amelia: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-5465 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8
The Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar – Amelia plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.3. This is due to the `UpdateProviderCommandHandler` failing to validate changes to the `externalId` field when a Provider (Employee) user updates their own profile. The `externalId` maps directly to a WordPress user ID and is passed to `wp_set_password()` and `wp_update_user()` without authorization checks. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Provider-level (Employee) access and above, to take over any WordPress account — including Administrator — by injecting an arbitrary `externalId` value when updating their own provider profile.

Hi.Events is an open-source event management and ticket selling platform. From version 0.8.0-beta.1 to before version 1.7.1-beta, multiple repository classes pass the user-supplied sort_by query parameter directly to Eloquent's orderBy() without validation, enabling SQL injection. Mar 31, 2026Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar - Amelia: SQL InjectionCVE-2026-4668 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5
The Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar - Amelia plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the `sort` parameter in the payments listing endpoint in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.2. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied `sort` parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query in `PaymentRepository.php`, where the sort field is interpolated directly into an ORDER BY clause without sanitization or whitelist validation. PDO prepared statements do not protect ORDER BY column names. GET requests also skip Amelia's nonce validation entirely. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Manager-level (`wpamelia-manager`) access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database via time-based blind SQL injection.

Mar 31, 2026ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies.CVE-2026-34218 · Other software · craigjbass · reported by GitHubMedium 6.3
ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies. Prior to version 4.2.14, two related startup defects created a window during which only the single compile-time baseline rule was enforced by opfilter. All managed (MDM-delivered) and user-defined file-access rules were not applied until the user interacted with policies through the GUI, triggering a policy mutation over XPC. This issue has been patched in version 4.2.14.

Mar 26, 2026ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies.CVE-2026-33632 · Other software · craigjbass · reported by GitHubHigh 8.4
ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies. Prior to version 4.2.4, two file operation event types — ES_EVENT_TYPE_AUTH_EXCHANGEDATA and ES_EVENT_TYPE_AUTH_CLONE — were not intercepted by ClearanceKit's opfilter system extension, allowing local processes to bypass file access policies. Commit 6181c4a patches the vulnerability by subscribing to both event types and routing them through the existing policy evaluator. Users must upgrade to v4.2.4 or later and reactivate the system extension.

Mar 26, 2026ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies.CVE-2026-33631 · Other software · craigjbass · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
ClearanceKit intercepts file-system access events on macOS and enforces per-process access policies. In versions on the 4.1 branch and earlier, the opfilter Endpoint Security system extension enforced file access policy exclusively by intercepting ES_EVENT_TYPE_AUTH_OPEN events. Seven additional file operation event types were not intercepted, allowing any locally running process to bypass the configured FAA policy without triggering a denial. Commit a3d1733 adds subscriptions for all seven event types and routes them through the existing FAA policy evaluator. AUTH_RENAME and AUTH_UNLINK additionally preserve XProtect change detection: events on the XProtect path are allowed and trigger the existing onXProtectChanged callback rather than being evaluated against user policy. All versions on the 4.2 branch contain the fix. No known workarounds are available.
