Sep 3, 2026parsedmarc 9.0.6 before 11.0.1 writes forensic report sample files using an output path derived from the email subject.CVE-2026-82521 · Other software · domainaware · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.3
parsedmarc 9.0.6 before 11.0.1 writes forensic report sample files using an output path derived from the email subject. When the subject consists entirely of path traversal sequences, the filename sanitization function produces an empty string, and a fallback to the raw unsanitized subject causes the resulting file to be written outside the intended samples directory. An attacker who can cause a forensic failure report with a crafted Subject to be processed can write a dot-prefixed file with attacker-controlled content to an ancestor directory of the configured samples output path. Exploitation requires that file output for forensic report samples is enabled.

Sep 3, 2026A vulnerability in MISP's email-based one-time password (OTP) authentication flow allowed an attacker to perform an unrestricted number of OTP verification atteCVE-2026-85237 · Other software · misp · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 8.6
A vulnerability in MISP's email-based one-time password (OTP) authentication flow allowed an attacker to perform an unrestricted number of OTP verification attempts. The email_otp() endpoint did not apply brute-force protection when validating submitted OTP values. An attacker who had reached the OTP verification stage, for example after successfully providing a user's primary authentication credentials, could repeatedly submit candidate OTP values while the same OTP remained valid. This significantly increased the feasibility of guessing the OTP and bypassing the additional authentication factor, potentially resulting in unauthorized access to the affected user's account. The issue was exacerbated by the fact that the OTP is associated with the user rather than with an individual pending login session, allowing multiple concurrent sessions to attempt guesses against the same valid OTP. The patch integrates the existing MISP brute-force protection mechanism into the email OTP flow. Failed OTP attempts are now counted against the user, further attempts are rejected once the configured threshold is reached, and the active OTP is invalidated when the attempt budget is exhausted.

Sep 1, 2026Mail is an internet library for Ruby designed to handle email generation, parsing, and sending.CVE-2026-63435 · Other software · mikel · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Mail is an internet library for Ruby designed to handle email generation, parsing, and sending. Prior to 2.9.1, Mail::Utilities.q_value_decode and Mail::Utilities.b_value_decode used a single String#match and an overly greedy charset capture to decode only the first RFC 2047 encoded-word and mishandle surrounding or subsequent text. A crafted malformed encoded-word in an address display name or local part could cross ? delimiters and make decoded From, To, or Reply-To header values differ from the raw values inspected by a human reviewer or downstream parser, enabling apparent sender or recipient spoofing, phishing, or authorization-check bypass. This issue is fixed in version 2.9.1.

Aug 31, 2026Nodemailer before 8.0.4 is vulnerable to SMTP command injection through the unsanitized envelope.size parameter.CVE-2026-82854 · Other software · nodemailer · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3
Nodemailer before 8.0.4 is vulnerable to SMTP command injection through the unsanitized envelope.size parameter. When an application passes a custom envelope object with a size property containing CRLF characters to sendMail(), the value is concatenated into the SMTP MAIL FROM command (as SIZE=...) without sanitization, allowing injection of arbitrary SMTP commands such as RCPT TO to silently add attacker-controlled recipients. Exploitation requires the application to expose the envelope size to attacker-controlled input, as Nodemailer does not include size in the default auto-constructed envelope.

Aug 27, 2026Dolibarr 9.0.0 through 23.0.4 saves inbound email attachments under the name supplied in the message's MIME headers without reducing it to a safe basename.CVE-2026-81730 · Other software · Dolibarr · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.8
Dolibarr 9.0.0 through 23.0.4 saves inbound email attachments under the name supplied in the message's MIME headers without reducing it to a safe basename. The global saveAttachment() in htdocs/emailcollector/lib/emailcollector.lib.php builds $filepath = $path . $filename . '.' . $ext and hands it to file_put_contents(), and the private saveAttachment() in htdocs/emailcollector/class/emailcollector.class.php writes to $destdir.'/'.$filename; the name reaches both from the attachment's own getName() or getFilename() value by way of the record-join, create-ticket and create-project operations. A traversal sequence in the filename therefore survives intact, so any sender who can email a mailbox that an EmailCollector monitors, which is the module's ordinary use for a support or ticket inbox, can place attacker-controlled content outside the per-object attachment directory without holding a Dolibarr account. Under the hardened layout Dolibarr's SECURITY.md requires, with htdocs read-only, the write is confined to the documents tree and corrupts or forges other objects' documents; where htdocs is writable the same primitive reaches a web-executable path. Version 24.0.0 applies dol_sanit

Aug 27, 2026Affected versions of Flowintel incorrectly attempted to validate login email addresses by calling Email(email).CVE-2026-81827 · Other software · flowintel · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 6.9
Affected versions of Flowintel incorrectly attempted to validate login email addresses by calling Email(email). That does not perform WTForms field validation; it merely constructs a validator object. Consequently, malformed attacker-controlled email input could continue through the login process and be written to security-relevant logs. The vulnerable code inserted the supplied email into both a warning log and the custom audit logger. Since CR/LF characters were not escaped, an unauthenticated attacker could potentially inject additional physical log lines or forge misleading log entries. The patch corrects the validation call to Email()(form, form.email), changes the standard logging call to parameterized logging, and introduces _sanitize_log_fragment() so carriage returns and line feeds are encoded instead of creating new records. Version impacted >=3.3.0

Aug 24, 2026Rocket.Chat exposes the sendForgotPasswordEmail Meteor method without a DDP rate limit, so an unauthenticated caller may invoke it as often as it likes.CVE-2026-75575 · Other software · RocketChat · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9
Rocket.Chat exposes the sendForgotPasswordEmail Meteor method without a DDP rate limit, so an unauthenticated caller may invoke it as often as it likes. The method is reachable over DDP and over the HTTP route POST /api/v1/method.callAnon/sendForgotPasswordEmail, and it triggers a password reset message for any address that matches an account. With no DDPRateLimiter rule registered for it, a caller can drive an unbounded volume of reset mail at a chosen address from the deployment's own mail sender, and can probe addresses at scale: the method answers true for an address with no account and for a successful send, but false when the address belongs to an account that authenticates through an external provider and Accounts_AllowPasswordChangeForOAuthUsers is off, so repeated calls distinguish that class of account. Later versions register a rule permitting ten calls per minute per client address.

Aug 20, 2026Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers.CVE-2026-67448 · Other software · axllent · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers. From 1.29.0 until 1.30.6, Mailpit's server/server.go origin middleware checks the raw RequestURI for the /api/ prefix while Go's ServeMux routes using the percent-decoded URL path, and server/websockets/client.go configures websocket.Upgrader.CheckOrigin to return true. A malicious website can request /%61pi/events, skip corsOriginAccessControl(), reach the /api/events WebSocket handler, and receive live message IDs, Message-Id values, sender and recipient fields, subjects, tags, and body snippets from an unauthenticated default Mailpit instance after the user visits the site. This is a regression of the earlier WebSocket origin protection and does not affect deployments protected by --ui-auth-file. This issue is fixed in version 1.30.6.

Aug 20, 2026Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers.CVE-2026-67447 · Other software · axllent · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers. From 1.30.0 until 1.30.5, Mailpit's internal/smtpd/smtpd.go readData() function calls bufio.Reader.ReadBytes before applying the len(data)+len(line) size check to the completed SMTP DATA line against Server.MaxSize. An unauthenticated SMTP client can send a single line larger than the configured MaxMessageSize, causing the full line to be allocated before Mailpit returns the 552 5.3.4 rejection. This post-fix gap remains after normal multi-line DATA accumulation was bounded, and concurrent oversized lines can create substantial memory pressure beyond the configured message-size cap. This issue is fixed in version 1.30.5.

Aug 20, 2026Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers.CVE-2026-67446 · Other software · axllent · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers. Prior to 1.30.4, Mailpit decodes attacker-supplied image attachments into a full raster before checking decoded dimensions, pixel count, or memory use in the GET /api/v1/message/{id}/part/{partID}/thumb endpoint. The Thumbnail handler in server/apiv1/thumbnails.go obtains attachment bytes through storage.GetAttachmentPart(), accepts image/* content, and calls imaging.Decode() with AutoOrientation before imaging.Fill() scales the image to 180 by 120 pixels. A compact image declaring very large dimensions can therefore consume disproportionately large memory and CPU, and opening the message UI can trigger the same endpoint through server/ui-src/components/message/MessageAttachments.vue. This can degrade availability when an unauthenticated client can store the crafted attachment and reach the web API. This issue is fixed in version 1.30.4.

Aug 20, 2026Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers.CVE-2026-67445 · Other software · axllent · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers. Prior to 1.30.4, Mailpit reads SMTP commands through internal/smtpd/smtpd.go session.readLine() using bufio.Reader.ReadString before session.parseLine() parses the verb or the RFC 5321 512-octet command-line limit is enforced. An unauthenticated remote SMTP client can send an oversized single command line that is fully allocated before syntax rejection or timeout, and the normal MaxMessageSize and DATA limits do not apply to this pre-DATA path. The same command reader is used by handleAuthLogin(), handleAuthPlain(), and handleAuthCramMD5() continuation lines, so concurrent oversized inputs can create memory pressure and reduce service availability. This issue is fixed in version 1.30.4.

Aug 20, 2026ATutor generates predictable email confirmation tokens due to the use of insufficiently random values in the account confirmation functionality.CVE-2026-64964 · Other software · ATutor · reported by cvd@cert.plMedium 6.3
ATutor generates predictable email confirmation tokens due to the use of insufficiently random values in the account confirmation functionality. Due to the use of predictable values related to user registration, an attacker who knows or can predict these values can guess valid account activation tokens. This allows an attacker to activate an unconfirmed account without access to the victim's email inbox. Product is no longer actively supported and the vulnerabilities have not been fixed. Only version 2.2.4 was tested and confirmed as vulnerable, other versions were not tested but might also be vulnerable.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
