  • Aug 18, 2026AngleSharp is a .NET library for parsing angle bracket based hyper-texts.CVE-2026-54570 · Other software · AngleSharp · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9

AngleSharp is a .NET library for parsing angle bracket based hyper-texts. Prior to 1.5.0, MathAnnotationXmlElement in AngleSharp/Mathml/Dom/Internal/MathAnnotationXmlElement.cs is not treated as an HTML integration point when its encoding attribute is text/html or application/xhtml+xml, causing Consume in AngleSharp/Html/Parser/HtmlDomBuilder.cs to route tokens through foreign-content parsing instead of HTML parsing. A sanitizer can therefore observe a different DOM from the browser that reparses the serialized output. An attacker can combine this namespace differential with markup-breaking characters in an attribute value so that an element hidden from the sanitizer becomes active script-capable HTML after browser reparse, resulting in mutation cross-site scripting. This issue is fixed in version 1.5.0.

  • Aug 17, 2026On a Kong Mesh global control plane, resources received over the zone-to-global KDS sync are attributed using the in-band, sender-controlled ControlPlane.IdentiCVE-2026-18674 · Other software · Kong Inc. · reported by 02762ae7-200e-4b20-9b2b-a77d5b8fc4cbHigh 7

On a Kong Mesh global control plane, resources received over the zone-to-global KDS sync are attributed using the in-band, sender-controlled ControlPlane.Identifier rather than the authenticated zone identity derived from the connection. Authenticated zones can have the global control plane store and re-distribute those resources as belonging to another zone. The result is a cross-zone isolation bypass: the holder of a single enrolled zone's credential can inject, attribute, and overwrite resources in another zone's namespace mesh-wide. The root cause lives in Kuma's open-source KDS sync code, which Kong Mesh's control plane is built on.

  • Aug 15, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: clean untagged VLAN on netdev registration failure When an mesh interface is rCVE-2026-72229 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: clean untagged VLAN on netdev registration failure When an mesh interface is registered, it creates an untagged struct batadv_meshif_vlan on top of it via the NETDEV_REGISTER notifier. But in this process, another receiver of this notification can veto the registration. The netdev registration will be aborted because of this veto. The register_netdevice() call will try to clean up the net_device using unregister_netdevice_queue() - which only uses the .priv_destructor to free private resources. In this situation, .dellink will not be called. The cleanup of the untagged batadv_meshif_vlan must thefore be done in the destructor to avoid a leak of this object.

  • Aug 12, 2026PDF::WebKit versions through 1.2 for Perl allow OS command injection via a 2-arg open() of the output path in to_pdf and of stylesheet paths in _style_tag_for.CVE-2026-17431 · Other software · MITHALDU · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eMedium 6.1

PDF::WebKit versions through 1.2 for Perl allow OS command injection via a 2-arg open() of the output path in to_pdf and of stylesheet paths in _style_tag_for. to_pdf reads the generated PDF back from its path argument, and _style_tag_for reads each entry of the stylesheets list, by assigning the path to a local @ARGV and reading it with the diamond operator, which opens each @ARGV element with Perl's 2-arg open(). A value that begins or ends with a pipe ("| cmd", "cmd |") is run as a command rather than opened as a file, and one that begins with a redirect ("> path", ">> path") opens that path for write or append. to_file forwards its path argument to to_pdf and reaches the same read. Any caller that forwards untrusted input as the output path or as a stylesheets entry can run a command under the process UID; with the "cmd |" form the command's output is returned in place of the PDF, and with the "> path" form the named file is truncated. Stylesheets may only be added to an HTML source, so a URL or file source exposes the output path alone.

Exposure is read-only - destructive Envoy admin actions are blocked and private keys are not exposed.

  • Aug 10, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wan: wanxl: Only reset hardware after BAR mapping wanxl_pci_init_one() stores the freshly CVE-2026-68327 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wan: wanxl: Only reset hardware after BAR mapping wanxl_pci_init_one() stores the freshly allocated card in driver data before the PLX BAR is mapped. Several early probe failures then unwind through wanxl_pci_remove_one(), including failure to allocate the coherent status area or to restore the DMA mask. wanxl_pci_remove_one() unconditionally calls wanxl_reset(), and wanxl_reset() dereferences card->plx. On those early failures card->plx is still NULL, so the error path can dereference a NULL MMIO pointer. Only issue the hardware reset once the BAR mapping exists. The remaining cleanup in wanxl_pci_remove_one() already checks whether later resources were allocated. This issue was found by a static analysis checker and confirmed by manual source review.

  • Aug 10, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: refresh auth->authorizer_buf{,_len} after authorizer update ceph_x_create_authoriCVE-2026-68156 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: refresh auth->authorizer_buf{,_len} after authorizer update ceph_x_create_authorizer() caches au->buf->vec.iov_base and au->buf->vec.iov_len in struct ceph_auth_handshake. These cached values are then used by the messenger connect code when sending the authorizer. ceph_x_update_authorizer() can rebuild the authorizer when a newer service ticket is available. If the rebuilt authorizer no longer fits in the existing buffer, ceph_x_build_authorizer() drops its reference to au->buf and allocates a new one. If this is the final reference, ceph_buffer_put() frees the old ceph_buffer and its vec.iov_base, but auth->authorizer_buf still points at that freed memory. A subsequent msgr1 reconnect can therefore queue the stale pointer and trigger a KASAN slab-use-after-free in _copy_from_iter() while tcp_sendmsg() copies the authorizer. Refresh auth->authorizer_buf and auth->authorizer_buf_len after a successful authorizer rebuild so the messenger sends the current buffer.

  • Aug 6, 2026The user impersonation flow in WSO2 Identity Server fails to properly manage refresh tokens associated with impersonated sessions.CVE-2025-12627 · Other software · WSO2 · reported by ed10eef1-636d-4fbe-9993-6890dfa878f8Low 2.4

The user impersonation flow in WSO2 Identity Server fails to properly manage refresh tokens associated with impersonated sessions. This allows an attacker who has obtained an access token for an impersonated user to leverage the refresh token grant to obtain new access tokens, extending their ability to act as the legitimate user. An attacker who gains access to an impersonated user's access token can exploit this weakness to renew their authorization. This results in the continued ability to perform actions on behalf of the actual user, compromising log integrity and traceability by masking the true actor.

  • Aug 2, 2026Zephyr's Bluetooth Mesh subnet key management leaks one PSA Crypto key slot on every subnet-key teardown.CVE-2026-10774 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgLow 2.4

Zephyr's Bluetooth Mesh subnet key management leaks one PSA Crypto key slot on every subnet-key teardown. In subsys/bluetooth/mesh/subnet.c, net_keys_create() imports the Private Beacon Key into a PSA key slot under CONFIG_BT_MESH_PRIV_BEACONS (enabled by default), but subnet_keys_destroy() guarded the matching psa_destroy_key() with CONFIG_BT_MESH_V1d1. That Kconfig symbol was removed when explicit Mesh 1.0.1 support was dropped, so the destroy branch became permanently dead code and the import is never balanced by a destroy. The imbalanced teardown is reached every time subnet keys are destroyed: deleting a subnet (Config Server NetKey Delete), completing a Key Refresh Procedure (which retires the old key set), and resetting/re-provisioning the node. The over-the-air triggers are processed only under the node's device key, so they are exercisable by the provisioner or network administrator that owns the node, reachable over the Bluetooth Mesh network. With the default CONFIG_MBEDTLS_PSA_KEY_SLOT_COUNT of 16, repeated add/delete or key-refresh cycles exhaust the shared PSA key-slot pool after roughly a dozen rounds. Once exhausted, bt_mesh_private_beacon_key() and thus subnet cr

  • Jul 28, 2026Nebula Mesh is a self-hosted control plane for the Slack Nebula mesh VPN.CVE-2026-49258 · Other software · juev · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

Nebula Mesh is a self-hosted control plane for the Slack Nebula mesh VPN. In versions 0.3.5 and below, the web UI (/ui/*) does not apply the per-operator CA scoping employed by the JSON API. This was partially addressed by GHSA-598g-h2vc-h5vg, but the changes were not implemented in the web read/mutation surface. Any authenticated non-admin operator (for example, one created via self-registration or OIDC) can access resources belonging to other operators. The host create/edit/mobile-bundle/network-create paths and all CA-management routes were already correctly scoped. A malicious operator could block or delete any other operator's host, or read any operator's hosts and networks. This issue has been fixed in version 0.3.6.

Prior to version 0.3.7, internal/pki/resolver.go:36-64 constructs a CAManager with the plaintext ed25519.PrivateKey after unwrapping via the master key; internal/pki/ca.go:13-16 stores it. Callers at internal/api/enroll.go:116, internal/api/updates.go:297, and internal/api/mobile_bundle.go:40 use the manager for one Sign() and drop the reference on function return — but the underlying slice contents are not wiped before release. The keystore package's contract (internal/keystore/keystore.go doc: "Callers MUST zeroise the returned plaintext DEK as soon as it is no longer needed") is not met by the CAManager consumer. Decrypted CA private keys persist in process heap until Go's GC scavenges the underlying slice — minutes to hours under load, indefinitely on idle servers. This issue has been patched in version 0.3.7.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: Unconditionally recompute CR8 intercept on PPR update The TPR_THRESHOLD field in the VMCS is used by VMX to induce VM exits when the guest's virtual TPR falls under the specified threshold, allowing KVM to inject previously masked interrupts. KVM handles these VM exits in handle_tpr_below_threshold(). Commit eb90f3417a0c ("KVM: vmx: speed up TPR below threshold vmexits") optimized this function by calling apic_update_ppr() instead of raising KVM_REQ_EVENT. apic_update_ppr() then raises KVM_REQ_EVENT if there is a pending, deliverable interrupt. However, if there are no new interrupts pending, apic_update_ppr() does not issue the request. Thus, kvm_lapic_update_cr8_intercept() and vmx_update_cr8_intercept() are not called before VM entry, which results in a high, stale TPR_THRESHOLD. This is problematic due to the following sentence in 28.2.1.1 "VM-Execution Control Fields" in the SDM: The following check is performed if the “use TPR shadow” VM-execution control is 1 and the “virtualize APIC accesses” and “virtual-interrupt delivery” VM-execution controls are both 0: the value of bits 3:0 of t

nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh virtual private network. Prior to version 0.3.4, the `/api/v1/*` route surface trusts the bearer token alone for authorisation on most endpoints. The codebase itself admits this at `internal/api/hosts.go:384`: "API trusts the bearer token for authorisation; per-CA ownership is enforced only in the Web layer." The Web UI gates state-changing routes through `loadAccessibleCA` (`internal/web/cas.go`); CA-management endpoints in `internal/api/cas.go` ALSO have proper `canAccessCA` gates. The gap is on the host, network, firewall, mobile-bundle, and most operator endpoints. Combined with the per-operator CA model from ADR 0002, this gives any non-admin operator API key broad cross-tenant access — instant privilege escalation in the worst case. Version 0.3.4 fixes the issue.

The WP Shortcode by MyThemeShop plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'title' parameter of the [tab] shortcode in versions up to, and including, 1.4.17. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the mts_tabs() function, which outputs the title shortcode attribute directly into the HTML output between anchor tags without applying any escaping functions. In NLnet Labs Unbound up to and including version 1.25.1, when 'unwanted-reply-threshold' is enabled (set to any value greater than zero), glue records of 0.0.0.0/::0 can short-circuit Unbound, on systems that can direct such traffic, by issuing DNS queries and receiving seemingly unwanted replies since the remote IP does not match the original source IP of 0.0.0.0/::0. This behavior keeps on looping for the glue records and pushing the counter to the configured 'unwanted-reply-threshold' that triggers a defensive cache clear. A malicious actor who controls a delegation that returns in-bailiwick glue of 0.0.0.0/::0 can drive the counter to the limit of 'unwanted-reply-threshold' to the threshold and trigger a cache clean of the message and rrset caches; at will, indefinitely, without sending a single spoofed packet. The iterator uses the 0.0.0.0/::0 glue, and a system that can route this (e.g., Linux kernel routes the datagram over loopback), Unbound's own listener answers from 127.0.0.1. Because of the mismatch of 0.0.0.0 and 127.0.0.1, in this example, Unbound accounts the reply as an unwanted (probably spoofed) answer. The counter resets to zero on every cache flush, so the atta

With NLnet Labs Unbound up to and including version 1.25.1, applications using libunbound and configured with 'unwanted-reply-threshold', could eventually be abruptly terminated if the threshold is reached and libunbound needs to call 'libworker_alloc_cleanup' since the function is absent from the function call allow list. When an application using libunbound sets 'unwanted-reply-threshold' to any non-zero value and the iterator queries an authoritative that replies with enough wrong-transaction-ID UDP datagrams to cross the threshold, the 'libworker_alloc_cleanup' will eventually be called. Since the function is absent from the function call allow list, this leads to a fatal exit of libunbound and eventual termination of the embedding application.Unbound itself is not affected since its relevant function 'worker_alloc_cleanup' is registed in the allow list and proceeds to perform the documented cache flush.

  • Jul 21, 2026In Zephyr's Bluetooth Mesh PB-ADV provisioning bearer (subsys/bluetooth/mesh/pb_adv.c), prov_msg_recv() rescheduled the provisioning protocol watchdog timer uncCVE-2026-10675 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 4.3

In Zephyr's Bluetooth Mesh PB-ADV provisioning bearer (subsys/bluetooth/mesh/pb_adv.c), prov_msg_recv() rescheduled the provisioning protocol watchdog timer unconditionally at the top of the function, before the FCS check and before the ADV_LINK_INVALID check. Once a provisioning attempt fails, prov_failed() sets ADV_LINK_INVALID and the only recovery path is the protocol timer firing (protocol_timeout -> prov_link_close -> close_link -> reset_adv_link and re-enabling of scanning and the unprovisioned device beacon). A remote, unauthenticated attacker on the BLE advertising channel can first induce a provisioning failure (e.g. with a malformed generic-provisioning PDU) and then transmit any FCS-valid PB-ADV transaction PDU on the same link ID more often than once per protocol timeout (60 s, or 120 s for OOB input/output). Because each such packet reset the timer even on an invalidated link, protocol_timeout never fired, the dead link was never torn down, and the device remained pinned in an un-provisionable state with its unprovisioned beacon disabled and new Link Open requests rejected. PB-ADV PDUs are processed without authentication and the FCS is a keyless CRC, so no pairing

  • Jul 19, 2026Meshtastic is an open source mesh networking solution.CVE-2026-44359 · Other software · meshtastic · reported by GitHubCritical 10

Meshtastic is an open source mesh networking solution. Prior to version 2.7.21.1370b23, the Meshtastic GitHub repository's main_matrix.yml workflow is triggered by pull_request_target and multiple jobs check out the attacker's fork code and execute it with access to repository secrets and elevated GITHUB_TOKEN permissions. No approval gate exists. Pull requests from external users with author_association: "NONE" triggered the CI workflow automatically. The workflow directly executes attacker-controlled files from the fork checkout. This issue could have resulted in supply chain compromise, self-hosted runner compromise, and/or repository takeover for the repo. This issue is separate from GHSA-6mwm-v2vv-pp96, which addressed a command injection via github.head_ref in the setup job of the same workflow. That fix correctly moved to environment variables. However, the more critical fork checkout vulnerability across the check, build, and build-debian-src jobs was not addressed. Version 2.7.21.1370b23 contains a patch for thie issue.

  • Jul 19, 2026Meshtastic is an open source mesh networking solution.CVE-2026-42566 · Other software · meshtastic · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Meshtastic is an open source mesh networking solution. Prior to version 2.7.23.b246bcd, a single node advertising a User.long_name that contains a malformed character encoding can render other radios unusable over BLE when managed through the iOS app. The malformed name does not need to be maliciously crafted — it can arise from ordinary buffer truncation and has been observed occurring naturally in the wild. At least one code path could place a null terminator in the middle of a multibyte sequence, leaving a malformed User.long_name in the node database. The problem surfaced downstream: the iOS app enforced encoding validation and therefore cannot parse a node database once it contains a poisoned entry. This caused BLE sync to enter a fail/retry loop, resulting in loss of control over the affected device. For a typical user managing their radio with the iOS app, the device becomes effectively unusable until the poisoned node ages out of the on-device database, or unless they have an alternate management path (e.g., the Python CLI, which can be used to identify and remove the offending entries manually). Because the malformed name propagates through the mesh, the temporary presence
