Oct 9, 2026RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems.CVE-2026-107838 · Other software · RIOT-OS · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems. From version 2023.07 through version 2026.07, nanocoap_fileserver callers in sys/net/application_layer/nanocoap/fileserver.c ignore a failure returned by _resp_init() when coap_build_reply() cannot fit a response header into the response buffer. A remote client can send a CoAP request with a sufficiently large extended token when nanocoap_token_ext is enabled, causing response initialization to fail while _get_file() or _get_directory() continues with stale response state. The path then reaches _calc_szx2() and its pdu->payload_len > reserve assertion, terminating the affected service or device task. No fixed release is available as of this review.

Oct 9, 2026RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems.CVE-2026-107837 · Other software · RIOT-OS · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems. In 2026.07 and earlier, _receive() in sys/net/gnrc/network_layer/sixlowpan/gnrc_sixlowpan.c can route an undersized packet into SFF fragment handling after only a minimal payload check. The code then interprets the packet as a sixlowpan_frag_t or larger fragment header without verifying that the packet snip contains the required bytes. A remote attacker can send a malformed 6LoWPAN fragment that causes gnrc_sixlowpan_frag_recv() to read beyond the packet buffer, potentially disclosing memory and crashing the network stack. No fixed repository release is available as of this review.

Oct 9, 2026RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems.CVE-2026-107836 · Other software · RIOT-OS · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems. In 2026.07 and earlier, the nanoCoAP client function nanocoap_sock_get_slice() in sys/net/application_layer/nanocoap/sock.c accepts a Block2 response when _block_cb() sees the expected block number without also verifying that the server-controlled szx and derived offset match the requested block geometry. A malicious CoAP server can return the expected block number with a larger block size, causing the derived offset to exceed the client slice offset and making ctx->offset - offset underflow in _2buf_slice(). The resulting buffer-relative calculation can read before the payload buffer and crash the client, causing denial of service and potentially exposing adjacent memory. No fixed release is available as of this review.

Oct 9, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject dev-bound-only programs on other devices __bpf_offload_dev_match() falls back CVE-2026-98382 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject dev-bound-only programs on other devices __bpf_offload_dev_match() falls back to comparing offdev pointers after an exact netdev mismatch. Bound-only programs normally have NULL offdevs, so unrelated netdevs compare equal. A bound-only program on an offload-registered netdev can instead inherit a real offdev and match a sibling port. With CAP_BPF and CAP_NET_ADMIN, a caller can use bpf(BPF_LINK_CREATE) with a different target ifindex to run metadata kfuncs specialized for the bound driver on the target driver's xdp_buff. Running a veth-bound program on tun reads beyond tun's bare stack xdp_buff as a veth_xdp_buff. Oct 9, 2026The user-mode verification handler for the device_deinit() system call, z_vrfy_device_deinit() in kernel/device.c, validated its dev argument with K_SYSCALL_OBJCVE-2026-19575 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgHigh 7.8
The user-mode verification handler for the device_deinit() system call, z_vrfy_device_deinit() in kernel/device.c, validated its dev argument with K_SYSCALL_OBJ_INIT(dev, K_OBJ_ANY). k_object_validate() short-circuits its type comparison when the requested type is K_OBJ_ANY, so the check reduced to "this pointer is the base address of some kernel object the calling thread has been granted" — the object's actual type was never compared, and K_SYSCALL_OBJ_INIT also skips the initialization-state check. The sibling handlers z_vrfy_device_init() and z_vrfy_device_is_ready() already used K_OBJ_DRIVER_ANY and were unaffected. A thread running in user mode can therefore pass any kernel object it holds permission on — most usefully a thread stack object obtained from the k_thread_stack_alloc() syscall or a statically defined K_THREAD_STACK it was granted in order to spawn a child user thread — whose backing memory is writable from user mode. z_impl_device_deinit() then interprets those attacker-written bytes as a struct device: it dereferences the state pointer read out of the object, calls the function pointer read out of ops.deinit, and on success writes through state again. Oct 6, 2026Microsoft UFO is an open-source framework for intelligent automation across devices and platforms.CVE-2026-105793 · Computers, phones & browsers · microsoft · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1
Microsoft UFO is an open-source framework for intelligent automation across devices and platforms. Prior to 3.0.9, the press_key tool in ufo/client/mcp/http_servers/mobile_mcp_server.py accepts a free-form key_code parameter and passes it to `adb shell input keyevent`. The adb client joins the arguments into a remote command string that the Android shell reparses, allowing an authenticated Mobile MCP caller to execute additional commands as the Android shell user on an authorized connected device. Exploitation requires a valid UFO_MCP_API_KEY, adb on the host, and a reachable authorized device, and it does not establish host operating-system execution, Android root execution, or access beyond the Android shell-user privileges. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.9.

Oct 6, 2026Microsoft UFO is an open-source framework for intelligent automation across devices and platforms.CVE-2026-105792 · Computers, phones & browsers · microsoft · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Microsoft UFO is an open-source framework for intelligent automation across devices and platforms. Prior to 3.0.9, the /api/task_result/{task_name} endpoint calls SessionManager.get_result_by_task() in ufo/server/services/session_manager.py, which acquires a non-reentrant lock and then calls SessionManager.get_result() to acquire the same lock again when the task name maps to a session. An authenticated caller who knows or creates a mapped task name can therefore block the request indefinitely, and in the default single-process server configuration the blocked event-loop thread prevents other HTTP, WebSocket, and dependent background interactions. Unknown task names do not reach the nested call and are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.9.

Oct 6, 2026Microsoft UFO is an open-source framework for intelligent automation across devices and platforms.CVE-2026-105791 · Computers, phones & browsers · microsoft · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Microsoft UFO is an open-source framework for intelligent automation across devices and platforms. Prior to 3.0.9, the run_shell tool in the CommandLineExecutor component of ufo/client/mcp/local_servers/cli_mcp_server.py validates only the first token of the bash_command parameter and permits explorer.exe. On Windows, explorer.exe delegates its following path argument to ShellExecute, so an attacker-influenced agent call can launch an arbitrary executable or script as the desktop user even though the subprocess uses shell=False. Exploitation depends on a user running an affected agent workflow and on inducing the tool call, but successful execution can access or modify that user's files, tokens, and sessions. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.9.

Oct 6, 2026Microsoft UFO is an open-source framework for intelligent automation across devices and platforms.CVE-2026-105790 · Computers, phones & browsers · microsoft · reported by GitHubMedium 6.4
Microsoft UFO is an open-source framework for intelligent automation across devices and platforms. Prior to 3.0.9, authenticated device registration through /api/devices can supply a permitted attacker-controlled WebSocket endpoint while aip/transport/websocket.py applies pinned_addresses only to the initial destination. The pinned websockets.connect() client follows cross-origin redirects and opens a new TCP connection before Galaxy performs its post-handshake peer-IP validation, allowing WebSocket upgrade requests to internal hosts reachable from the server. The confirmed impact is the internal connection and handshake request, and does not establish arbitrary HTTP methods, response-body disclosure, a completed AIP session, or cloud metadata access. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.9.

Prior to 3.0.9, the execute_command tool in ufo/client/mcp/http_servers/linux_mcp_server.py treats sort and uniq as read-only commands while the free-form command parameter can select their file-output forms. An authenticated caller can use sort -o or the optional second uniq operand to create or overwrite files writable by the UFO server process without shell metacharacters, because the allowed binary opens the destination itself and the argument policy does not reject the operation. This can corrupt configuration or other writable data and disrupt the service, but the demonstrated primitive does not directly disclose files or establish arbitrary code execution. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.9.

Oct 6, 2026Microsoft UFO is an open-source framework for intelligent automation across devices and platforms.CVE-2026-105788 · Computers, phones & browsers · microsoft · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
Microsoft UFO is an open-source framework for intelligent automation across devices and platforms. Prior to 3.0.10, the type_text and launch_app tools in ufo/client/mcp/http_servers/mobile_mcp_server.py pass the authenticated caller-controlled text and package_name parameters into adb shell command argument positions without comprehensive validation. The adb client joins those arguments into a remote command string that the Android shell reparses, allowing shell metacharacters to execute additional commands on an authorized connected device as the Android shell user. Exploitation requires a valid Mobile MCP API key and a reachable device authorized for ADB, and it does not establish host operating-system execution, Android root execution, or access beyond the Android shell-user privileges. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.10.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: hold net_device reference under RCU in bundle creation xfrm_bundle_create() and xfrm_create_dummy_bundle() read dst->dev into a local pointer without taking a device reference, then pass it to xfrm_fill_dst(). A concurrent RTM_DELLINK replaces dst->dev via dst_dev_put() and frees the old net_device, causing a use-after-free when xfrm6_fill_dst() later dereferences the stale dev pointer. Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/core: Reject unregistering netdevs in ib_get_eth_speed ib_device_get_netdev() intentiCVE-2026-98359 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/core: Reject unregistering netdevs in ib_get_eth_speed ib_device_get_netdev() intentionally returns a referenced net_device even when it is unregistering, so matching and cleanup callers can still find the association. The reference keeps struct net_device allocated, but does not guarantee that the device remains operational. ib_get_eth_speed() uses the returned device operationally by invoking its ethtool callback. Although that call is made under RTNL, the function does not verify the registration state first. An asynchronous RDMA port query can therefore call into a netdev after NETDEV_UNREGISTER and ndo_uninit have completed. Check for NETREG_REGISTERED while holding RTNL and return -ENODEV for a device which is being unregistered. Keeping RTNL across the check and the ethtool operation prevents unregister from starting between them. Keep the speed fallback and warning under RTNL as well, so the warning can safely read netdev->name. Drop the netdev reference before releasing RTNL once all accesses to the device are complete.

Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: Fix device kref underflow in dma_chan_put() dma_chan_get() takes chan->device->CVE-2026-98344 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: Fix device kref underflow in dma_chan_put() dma_chan_get() takes chan->device->ref only on the slow path: /* no kref on fast path */ if (chan->client_count) { __module_get(owner); chan->client_count++; return 0; } if (!try_module_get(owner)) return -ENODEV; if (!dma_device_get(chan->device)) { // calls kref_get_unless_zero() dma_chan_put() drops the ref unconditionally, so every fast-path get/put pair drops one extra device reference. The bug fires when two conditions hold together: a non-private provider has a persistent client holding chan->client_count > 0 and another client cycles dmaengine_get()/dmaengine_put(). When the kref hits zero, the subsequent dma_find_channel() returns NULL even though the provider module is still loaded. Fix this by dropping device->ref only on the last put, matching the single slow-path get.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: fix use-after-free in dma_chan_put() and dma_release_channel() When dma_device_put() drops the last reference on chan->device->ref, dma_device_release() runs and may free the dma_device along with its channels. dma_chan_put() then still reads chan->device->owner via dma_chan_to_owner() for the trailing module_put(). Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: wait for RCU readers before releasing dma_device dma_issue_pending_all() walks CVE-2026-98342 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: wait for RCU readers before releasing dma_device dma_issue_pending_all() walks the dma_device_list with list_for_each_entry_rcu() under rcu_read_lock(). dma_device_release() unlinks the device with list_del_rcu() and then calls device->device_release() (which in many drivers, such as plx_dma.c, directly calls kfree()). Because there is no grace period between unlinking the device and freeing it, concurrent RCU readers in dma_issue_pending_all() can access the device after it has been freed. The lockless walk originally relied on clients holding a dmaengine reference to pin the provider module, and therefore the device, for as long as they might traverse the list. Commit 8ad342a86359 ("dmaengine: Add reference counting to dma_device struct") decoupled the dma_device lifetime from the module reference, so the device can now be released while a reader is still walking the list. Add synchronize_rcu() before the device is freed, so RCU readers are guaranteed to have finished. Keep it unconditional: providers that do not implement device_release() free the device themselves once dma_async_device_unregiste

Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: 6fire: fix OOB write from device-reported iso length usb6fire_pcm_in_urb_handler() sCVE-2026-98312 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: 6fire: fix OOB write from device-reported iso length usb6fire_pcm_in_urb_handler() sizes each outgoing isochronous packet as (actual_length - 4) / (in_n_analog << 2) * (out_n_analog << 2) + 4, where actual_length is the unsigned length the device reported for the matching IN packet. A packet completed with status 0 and actual_length < 4 wraps the subtraction to 0x7fffffec; a zero-length isochronous packet is legal on the bus, and the preceding loop rejects only non-zero status. The sum reaches memset() on out_urb->buffer, a 4832-byte object from kcalloc(PCM_MAX_PACKET_SIZE, PCM_N_PACKETS_PER_URB). Even without the wrap the result is out of bounds: at 88.2/96 kHz the 4-in/6-out scaling turns a full 420-byte IN packet into 628, so eight packets span 5024 bytes of that buffer. usb_submit_urb() rejects an over-long descriptor only after the memset() and the usb6fire_pcm_playback() copy of user PCM data have run. Guard the subtraction as the sibling usb6fire_pcm_capture() already does, and limit the frame count to what fits in rt->out_packet_size, the OUT endpoint's wMaxPacketSize. This bounds total_length

Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: virtio: reset device before deleting virtqueues virtsnd_remove() and virtsnd_freeze(CVE-2026-98264 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: virtio: reset device before deleting virtqueues virtsnd_remove() and virtsnd_freeze() delete the virtqueues before resetting the device. del_vqs() frees the vring backing, but does not provide a generic device quiesce operation. In particular, modern virtio-pci keeps enabled queues active until the device is reset. Reset the device before deleting the virtqueues so it can no longer access the vring memory when that memory is released. This also covers probe failures after DRIVER_OK, which unwind through virtsnd_remove().

Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: serialize state GC with device state flush The deferred-device pass in xfrm_dev_statCVE-2026-98231 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: serialize state GC with device state flush The deferred-device pass in xfrm_dev_state_flush() finds states under xfrm_state_dev_gc_lock, but drops the lock before calling xfrm_dev_state_free() because the driver callback may sleep. The device GC list does not hold an xfrm_state reference, so the state GC worker can destroy the same state concurrently. The race can proceed as follows: CPU 0 CPU 1 find x on the device GC list drop xfrm_state_dev_gc_lock read x->xso.dev xfrm_state_gc_destroy(x) xfrm_dev_state_free(x) xfrm_state_free(x) continue xfrm_dev_state_free(x) Both paths can invoke the driver callback and drop the device reference. CPU 0 can also access the xfrm_state after CPU 1 has freed it. Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: fix rmmio iounmap skipped on device removal amdgpu_pci_remove() calls drm_dev_CVE-2026-98179 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: fix rmmio iounmap skipped on device removal amdgpu_pci_remove() calls drm_dev_unplug() before fini_sw(), so drm_dev_enter() is already false there and the iounmap() guarded by it is skipped. This .remove path runs on both hot-unplug and plain rmmod, so the register BAR ioremap mapping leaks one instance per unload. Unmap rmmio unconditionally (guard only on non-NULL) and drop the now unused idx. (cherry picked from commit dd6f86a97260e5207d3329ad03aa89fdad61b1e6)

A flaw was found in the OIDC implementation of Keycloak, specifically within the Device Authorization Grant flow. This component allows devices with limited input capabilities to obtain security tokens. The issue occurs because the flow fails to check the minimum authentication level required by a client configuration. This allows an attacker who has stolen a user's password to bypass mandatory multi-factor authentication and gain unauthorized access to the Keycloak Admin REST API.
