  • Sep 22, 2026icalendar is an RFC 5545 compatible parser and generator of iCalendar files for Python.CVE-2026-77399 · Other software · collective · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

icalendar is an RFC 5545 compatible parser and generator of iCalendar files for Python. From 6.1.0 until 7.2.2, vInt.from_ical accepts an attacker-controlled VALARM REPEAT value and applications that request alarm times can eagerly expand it without an application-level limit. Alarms.times and Alarms.active reach the unbounded expansion in versions starting with 6.1.0, while Alarm.triggers adds a second affected path starting with 7.0.0. Parsing alone does not trigger the issue, but accessing these properties can consume excessive CPU time and heap memory and terminate or stall a service. This issue is fixed in version 7.2.2.

  • Sep 22, 2026plone.app.portlets.portlets provides a Plone-specific user interface for plone.portlets, as well as a standard set of portlets that ship with Plone.CVE-2026-57149 · Other software · plone · reported by GitHubCritical 9.9

plone.app.portlets.portlets provides a Plone-specific user interface for plone.portlets, as well as a standard set of portlets that ship with Plone. Starting in version 5.0.0 and prior to versions 5.0.8, 6.0.4, and 7.0.2, the Classic portlet (plone.app.portlets.portlets.classic) used its user-supplied template/macro fields to build a TALES path expression that was then evaluated by the TAL path() helper. Because the value was interpreted as a full TALES expression, a user able to add or edit a Classic portlet could supply a crafted value that escapes simple path traversal and is evaluated as arbitrary code. This is exploitable by any authenticated user who can configure a Classic portlet - which, with the default role map, includes regular users on their personal dashboard. The result is code execution in the context of the Plone process, i.e. a privilege escalation across the trust boundary between an authenticated web user and the server-side process. The problem has been patched in `plone.app.portlets` 5.0.8, 6.0.4, and 7.0.2. Some workarounds are available. Restrict who can manage portlets: remove the `plone.app.portlets.ManageOwnPortlets` permission from untrusted roles, and

  • Sep 22, 2026Dark Reader is an accessibility browser extension that makes web pages colors dark.CVE-2026-92706 · Other software · darkreader · reported by GitHubLow 3.4

Dark Reader is an accessibility browser extension that makes web pages colors dark. Prior to 4.9.126, a website can cause the browser extension's image inversion pipeline to request an unauthenticated icon-like bitmap from a locally running web server when the resource uses a known public-like HTTPS URL and is detected as requiring inversion. This behavior can cross the website-to-local-network boundary and disclose limited information associated with the requested resource. The darkreader npm package used for website integration is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.9.126 for Firefox and version 4.9.128 for other browsers.

  • Sep 22, 2026radare2 is a UNIX-like reverse engineering framework and command-line toolset.CVE-2026-81886 · Other software · radareorg · reported by GitHubMedium 5.5

radare2 is a UNIX-like reverse engineering framework and command-line toolset. Prior to 6.2.0, radare2's Windows 64-bit crash-dump dmp64 parser was vulnerable because the Windows dmp64 parser used an input-controlled physical-memory-run PageCount directly as the bound of a per-page allocation loop. The vulnerability is triggered by opening a small crafted full-memory Windows crash dump. The parser repeatedly allocated and appended page descriptors without validating the count against the dump size. This can cause denial of service through excessive memory consumption and processing time. This issue is fixed in version 6.2.0.

radare2 is a UNIX-like reverse engineering framework and command-line toolset. Prior to 6.2.0, radare2's NE relocation fixup-chain parser was vulnerable because the NE relocation parser followed fixup chains without an active iteration limit or cycle detection. The vulnerability is triggered by opening a crafted NE executable whose in-bounds relocation entry points back to itself instead of reaching 0xffff. The parser repeatedly processed the same relocation and allocated another relocation object on each iteration. This can cause denial of service through continuous CPU and memory consumption. This issue is fixed in version 6.2.0.

radare2 is a UNIX-like reverse engineering framework and command-line toolset. Prior to 6.2.0, radare2's Mach-O LC_DATA_IN_CODE parser was vulnerable because the Mach-O LC_DATA_IN_CODE parser trusted dataoff and datasize and allowed a final partial record to be processed. The vulnerability is triggered by opening a crafted Mach-O file while the non-default bin.verbose option is enabled. When datasize was not a multiple of data_in_code_entry, the last iteration read beyond the allocated buffer. This can cause a heap out-of-bounds read and possible process termination; no attacker-observable memory disclosure has been demonstrated. This issue is fixed in version 6.2.0.

radare2 is a UNIX-like reverse engineering framework and command-line toolset. Prior to 6.2.0, radare2's Lua 5.3 bytecode function parser was vulnerable because the Lua 5.3 bytecode function parser read fixed function-metadata fields immediately after a function-name string without checking the remaining buffer length. The vulnerability is triggered by opening or inspecting a crafted Lua 5.3 bytecode file whose function-name string ends at the input-buffer boundary. The parser read two integers and three one-byte fields beyond the allocated input buffer. This can cause invalid parser results or process termination; no attacker-observable memory disclosure has been demonstrated. This issue is fixed in version 6.2.0.

radare2 is a UNIX-like reverse engineering framework and command-line toolset. Prior to 6.2.0, radare2's binary property-list Unicode parser was vulnerable because the binary-property-list Unicode parser underallocated an uninitialized UTF-8 destination and did not guarantee NUL termination. The vulnerability is triggered by running the explicit pFB or pFBj commands on untrusted binary property-list data. The json encoder treated the converted data as a nul-terminated c string and could continue reading beyond the allocation. This can cause disclosure of uninitialized or adjacent heap contents in JSON output and possible process termination. This issue is fixed in version 6.2.0.

  • Sep 22, 2026radare2 is a UNIX-like reverse engineering framework and command-line toolset.CVE-2026-81881 · Other software · radareorg · reported by GitHubLow 3.3

radare2 is a UNIX-like reverse engineering framework and command-line toolset. Prior to 6.2.0, radare2's Mach-O Swift field-metadata parser was vulnerable because a relative Swift field pointer could be lower than the field-metadata section base, making subtraction produce a negative logical index. The vulnerability is triggered by parsing Swift type and class metadata from a crafted Mach-O file. The derived index was used to read four bytes immediately before the allocated field-metadata buffer. This can cause incorrect metadata processing or process termination; no attacker-observable memory disclosure has been demonstrated. This issue is fixed in version 6.2.0.

radare2 is a UNIX-like reverse engineering framework and command-line toolset. Prior to 6.2.0, radare2's Apple Preferred Executable Format loader was vulnerable because the PEF loader accepted relocSecCount values that were not bounded by the number of sections or complete relocation records in the input. The vulnerability is triggered by normal binary-format auto-detection of a small crafted Apple PEF file. The loader could perform up to 268,435,456 relocation-section iterations and repeated buffer operations after record offsets passed the end of the file. This can cause denial of service through excessive CPU consumption and prolonged processing. This issue is fixed in version 6.2.0.

radare2 is a UNIX-like reverse engineering framework and command-line toolset. Prior to 6.2.0, radare2's ELF PN_XNUM handling was vulnerable because the ELF parser allocated the program-header array using the resolved PN_XNUM count but several consumers still iterated with the original e_phnum value of 65535. The vulnerability is triggered by processing a crafted ELF file with e_phnum = 0xffff and a much smaller resolved count in shdr[0].sh_info. Consumers iterated beyond the allocated program-header array. This can cause a heap out-of-bounds read and process termination, resulting in denial of service; memory disclosure and code execution have not been demonstrated. radare2 is a UNIX-like reverse engineering framework and command-line toolset. Prior to 6.2.0, radare2's CPython bytecode .pyc marshal parser was vulnerable because the CPython marshal readers accepted a 32-bit string length without rejecting values that overflow the size-plus-one allocation. The vulnerability is triggered by opening or inspecting a crafted .pyc file through r2 or rabin2. A length of 0xffffffff wrapped the allocation to zero before the common byte reader wrote attacker-controlled data and fill bytes beyond the heap allocation. This can cause heap memory corruption and denial of service; arbitrary code execution is possible but has not been demonstrated. This issue is fixed in version 6.2.0.

  • Sep 18, 2026Booking Calendar: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-92619 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The Booking Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 11.8.2 via the `wpbc_ajax_option_save` AJAX action. The vulnerability exists because the `handle_ajax_save()` function applies per-option safeguards only to names explicitly registered via `register_option_policy()`, causing `get_option_policy()` to return an empty policy — bypassing all can_save, force_mode, and allowed_keys checks — for any unregistered option name, including core WordPress options, while an attacker-controlled `data_name` parameter passes through `sanitize_key()` and is written directly to `update_option()` without restriction. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Editor-level access and above to escalate their privileges to Administrator by writing core WordPress options such as `default_role=administrator` and `users_can_register=1`, then self-registering a new Administrator account. The nonce check does not meaningfully restrict this attack, as both the nonce value and nonce action are attacker-supplied POST parameters, and a valid nonce is trivially obtainable via `admin-ajax.php?action=rest-nonce`.

The extraction filters in lib/setup-sandbox.js and the cross-realm symbol checks and write traps in lib/bridge.js use a fixed list of known dangerous registered symbols that omits nodejs.stream.disturbed and nodejs.stream.errored, which are exposed on host WebStream prototypes on newer Node.js releases (validated on Node.js v25.8.0). When the embedder exposes a host WebStream object and the host stream/web module to the sandbox, sandbox code can obtain the real host symbols via Object.getOwnPropertySymbols(streamWeb.ReadableStream.prototype) and use them as write keys on host stream objects, corrupting host-visible stream state — for example making stream.Readable.isDisturbed() return false for an already-consumed stream. This can bypass host logic that relies on Node's public stream-state helpers to enforce one-shot body consumption, reject errored streams, or decide whether a stream is safe to hand to another component. It is not a host code-execution primitive in the reported proof of vulnerability. This is an incomplete fix for the earlier nodejs.* symbol filt

  • Sep 16, 2026Apache NiFi 2.11.0 disabled support for gzip-encoded HTTP requests for the application REST API and rejected requests that included the standard Content-EncodinCVE-2026-70469 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.5

Apache NiFi 2.11.0 disabled support for gzip-encoded HTTP requests for the application REST API and rejected requests that included the standard Content-Encoding header indicating gzip encoding. The framework enforcement filter did not check multiple instances of the Content-Encoding header and did not reject non-standard identifiers for gzip encoding, allowing a malicious client to send crafted requests that could consume excessive amounts of memory. Upgrading to Apache NiFi 2.12.0 is the recommended mitigation, which disables decompression of gzip-encoded HTTP requests regardless of header number or encoding identifiers.

  • Sep 16, 2026HAPI FHIR is a complete implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard for healthcare interoperability in Java.CVE-2026-81876 · Other software · hapifhir · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

HAPI FHIR is a complete implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard for healthcare interoperability in Java. Prior to version 6.9.12, SHCParser in org.hl7.fhir.r5/src/main/java/org/hl7/fhir/r5/elementmodel/SHCParser.java can enter an infinite loop while processing attacker-controlled Smart Health Card JWT content whose header contains zip: "DEF" and whose raw-DEFLATE payload is empty or truncated. SHCParser.decodeJWT() reaches SHCParser.inflate(), where Inflater.inflate() can return zero while Inflater.finished() remains false and Inflater.needsInput() is true. The loop also lacks an Inflater.needsDictionary() termination check, SHCParser.decompress() contains the same zero-progress pattern, and ResourceChecker.java can reach SHC parsing during file-format detection. A malformed validation request can pin a JVM worker thread indefinitely, and concurrent requests can exhaust all validation workers. This issue is fixed in version 6.9.12.

HAPI FHIR is a complete implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard for healthcare interoperability in Java. Prior to version 6.9.12, SHCParser in org.hl7.fhir.r5/src/main/java/org/hl7/fhir/r5/elementmodel/SHCParser.java can consume attacker-controlled Smart Health Card JWT content whose header contains zip: "DEF" and whose small raw-DEFLATE payload expands to a very large value. SHCParser.decodeJWT() passes the decoded payload to SHCParser.inflate(), which accumulates all decompressed bytes in a ByteArrayOutputStream without an output-size limit before JSON parsing, and SHCParser.decompress() contains the same unbounded pattern. An application or validator service that accepts attacker-supplied SHC content can therefore suffer excessive heap allocation, severe garbage-collection pressure, request failure, process instability, or process termination. This issue is fixed in version 6.9.12.

oRPC is an tool that helps build APIs that are end-to-end type-safe and adhere to OpenAPI standards. Prior to 1.14.8, the @orpc/server CORS plugin in packages/server/src/plugins/cors.ts copies a client's incoming Vary request header into the response instead of controlling Vary as a response-only header and using Origin for request-origin variation. In deployments behind a shared cache, CDN, or reverse proxy that keys responses using Vary, a client can inject arbitrary variation values, pollute cache keys, and cause inconsistent CORS enforcement for other clients. Default non-cached configurations have no established direct confidentiality, integrity, or availability impact. This issue is fixed in version 1.14.8.

For a secondary zone with transfers restricted by TSIG, `named` may start to serve the data provided in a zone transfer before the final message with the TSIG signature arrives. This could allow an attacker that does not actually possess a valid TSIG signature to send unauthorized zone contents to a secondary server. Although no TSIG signature ever arrives, `named` does not rollback to the pre-transfer state. To exploit the vulnerability, the transfer must be a multi-message TCP IXFR, as described by RFC 8945.
