    VideoLAN libbluray through 1.5.1 contains an uncontrolled memory allocation vulnerability in _parse_extent_start_points() in clpi_parse.c that trusts the num_point field without bounds checking. Attackers can supply a crafted .clpi file on a disc, image, or directory with a huge num_point to exhaust memory and CPU, causing denial of service.

    在 openGauss-server的 src/common/backend/utils/adt/genfile.cpp 模块中,内置函数 pg_read_binary_file_blocks() 存在权限校验逻辑缺陷。

While the MCP protocol stream handler enforces WithBiscuitAuth and Authorize checks, the parallel /libp2p-http ingress routes requests directly to backend service handlers without verifying a Biscuit token or mesh enrollment. The Gitea OpenID association callback in the security settings accepted a positive OpenID 2.0 assertion without checking that the signed-in user had started the linking. Because OpenID 2.0 allows unsolicited assertions, an attacker-controlled OpenID provider could attach the attacker's identity to the account of a signed-in victim who opened a crafted link, and the attacker could then sign in as the victim through OpenID login, which does not apply the local TOTP or WebAuthn checks. The callback now requires a time-limited `state` value bound to the user.

  • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: USB: cdc-acm: skip URB restart in port_shutdown if disconnected acm_port_shutdown() is calCVE-2026-98773 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: USB: cdc-acm: skip URB restart in port_shutdown if disconnected acm_port_shutdown() is called from the tty-port machinery whenever the last user closes the port. acm_disconnect() sets acm->disconnected and calls tty_port_tty_vhangup(), which eventually triggers port_shutdown(). At that point acm_disconnect() has already called acm_poison_urbs() and is about to free the control and read URBs. However, acm_port_shutdown() unconditionally calls acm_unpoison_urbs() and, when the ALWAYS_POLL_CTRL quirk is set, immediately re-submits the ctrlurb and all read URBs. If the concurrent acm_disconnect() then frees those URBs and their DMA buffers while they are in-flight, the result is a use-after-free in acm_ctrl_irq() or acm_read_bulk_callback() accessing the freed DMA memory. Fix by checking acm->disconnected after draining the delayed anchor and returning early: if we are in a disconnect path the URBs must remain poisoned and must not be resubmitted. The early return is placed after the delayed-anchor drain loop because that loop only cancels write-side accounting (wb->use = false and autopm counter) and does not t

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: typec: tcpm: recover after failure to start the frs ams Reset the port if the tcpm fails to start the FAST_ROLE_SWAP AMS by initiating error recovery on it. This helps in cases where some cables (incorrectly) signal an FRS to an FRS capable port during disconnection. The TCPC autonomously starts sourcing VBUS on detecting the FRS signal. However, the VBUS sourcing is left on when the FAST_ROLE_SWAP AMS fails to start (as tcpm_sink_tx_ok is 0 as CC is open due to the cable disconnect). This is because the code sets the state to INVALID_STATE without resetting the port state. • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: cdns3: fix use-after-free in cdns3_gadget_exit() cdns3_gadget_start() arms two works CVE-2026-98757 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: cdns3: fix use-after-free in cdns3_gadget_exit() cdns3_gadget_start() arms two works on system_freezable_wq: pending_status_wq for the deferred ep0 status stage and aligned_buf_wq for realigned request buffers. Both handlers use the cdns3_device the works are embedded in, and cdns3_pending_setup_status_handler() also calls the ep0 request completion. cdns3_gadget_exit() does not wait for these works. It frees all endpoints and aligned buffers and drops the last reference to the gadget device, which frees priv_dev, so a work queued before the exit can run after the free. Fix this by waiting for both works after the gadget driver is unbound and the IRQ is freed, when no new work can be queued, and before the endpoints and buffers are released. • Oct 18, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: 8250_bcm7271: fix use-after-free in brcmuart_remove() brcmuart_handle_irq() startsCVE-2026-98748 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: 8250_bcm7271: fix use-after-free in brcmuart_remove() brcmuart_handle_irq() starts priv->hrt to work around a receive-timeout quirk of the 8250 core when hardware flow control is enabled; the timer callback brcmuart_hrtimer_func() dereferences priv. brcmuart_remove() cancels the hrtimer before it unregisters the port, so a receive-timeout interrupt that arrives in between re-arms the timer. After devm frees priv, the callback runs on freed memory. Unregister the port before cancelling the hrtimer. serial8250_unregister_port() shuts the port down and frees its IRQ, so brcmuart_handle_irq() can no longer restart the timer, and the final hrtimer_cancel() drains any timer that was armed before or during the unregister. This issue was found by an in-house static analysis tool.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cgroup/cpuset: Return PERR_NOCPUS in remote_partition_enable() on subpartitions_cpus conflict When a remote partition is created underneath an existing local partition via a non-partition (PRS_MEMBER) intermediate cgroup, update_prstate() sees parent->partition_root_state == PRS_MEMBER and calls remote_partition_enable(). Commit 86888c7bd117 ("cgroup/cpuset: Add warnings to catch inconsistency in exclusive CPUs") replaced the cpumask_intersects(tmp->new_cpus, subpartitions_cpus) error check in remote_partition_enable() with WARN_ON_ONCE(). Text::CSV_XS versions before 1.65 for Perl read before the start of an all-blank field under allow_whitespace in strip_trail_whitespace. Under allow_whitespace, strip_trail_whitespace removes trailing spaces and tabs from each unquoted field without stopping at the start of the field. For a field of only blanks it reads the byte before the field's heap buffer. If that byte is also a space or tab, it may be zeroed and the walk continue backwards, depending on what the allocator placed there. Leading blanks are normally skipped before a field is stored, but an all-blank field still arrives after a leading escape_char that differs from quote_char, or as a quoted field in getline when its line ends in two CRs.

  • Oct 16, 2026countly-server is the server-side part of Countly, a product analytics solution.CVE-2026-44977 · Other software · Countly · reported by GitHubCritical 9

    countly-server is the server-side part of Countly, a product analytics solution. Prior to 24.05.50 and 25.03.44, plugins/star-rating/api/api.js allows a non-global application administrator to use uploadFeedbackFile to store attacker-controlled active content while trusting the supplied MIME type. plugins/star-rating/frontend/app.js publicly serves the stored content from feedback/preview/ with the attacker-influenced Content-Type, so a global administrator who opens the preview executes the payload in the Countly origin and exposes authenticated session capabilities, including auth_token and csrf_token values. countly-server is the server-side part of Countly, a product analytics solution. Prior to 24.05.50 and 25.03.44, star-rating/images/ and dashboards/images/screenshots/ are among public image and screenshot routes using the local fs storage backend that call getStream and pipe filesystem streams to HTTP responses without an error listener. An unauthenticated request containing a URL-encoded dot can make createReadStream open a directory, emit an asynchronous EISDIR error, and terminate the Node.js process as an unhandled exception, allowing repeated requests to keep the analytics API unavailable. Prior to 24.05.50 and 25.03.44, the authenticated data-migration deletion route in plugins/data_migration/api/api.js passes the user-controlled exportid to clean_up_data without path validation. plugins/data_migration/api/data_migration_helper.js concatenates that identifier into a path resolved outside the intended import directory and calls remove recursively, allowing an application administrator or user with migration permission to delete writable files or directory trees and cause data loss or service disruption. • Oct 16, 2026NordVPN for Windows allows local attackers to stop unprotected Windows system services and change their startup type to Manual via named pipes.CVE-2026-106030 · Other software · Nord Security · reported by cvd@cert.plMedium 6.8

    NordVPN for Windows allows local attackers to stop unprotected Windows system services and change their startup type to Manual via named pipes. The NordVPN user-mode application allows a low-privileged attacker to act as a trusted process and connect to the named pipe "\\.\pipe\nord-security\v1\NordVpnService\Server". The attacker can then invoke the "ISettingsGrpc.StopService" and "ISettingsGrpc.ChangeServiceStartType" methods with an arbitrary service name, allowing them to stop any unprotected Windows service and change its startup type. This leads to denial of service of critical system services. Services protected by Windows (PPL processes, Windows Tamper Protection), such as Windows Defender, cannot be stopped or reconfigured.
