Aug 26, 2026Frappe is a full-stack web application framework written in Python and JavaScript.CVE-2026-66003 · Other software · frappe · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
Frappe is a full-stack web application framework written in Python and JavaScript. Prior to version 15.115.0, an access control bypass in the REST API allows a user to read data from Linked DocTypes that they are not authorized to access. When a document references another document through a Link field, the framework does not consistently enforce the linked DocType's own permissions when the record is retrieved through the REST API, so a low-privileged authenticated user can obtain fields from linked records outside their permitted scope. This issue is fixed in version 15.115.0.

Aug 26, 2026FiftyOne renders a dataset field's description as markup.CVE-2026-80426 · Other software · voxel51 · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7
FiftyOne renders a dataset field's description as markup. The sidebar field-information component at app/packages/core/src/components/FieldLabelAndInfo/index.tsx passes the description string to React's dangerouslySetInnerHTML, and no layer between storage and render escapes or sanitises it; the neighbouring info values in the same component are rendered as React children and are escaped, so the description is the only raw path. A description is free-form text held in the dataset schema, so it persists in the database and travels with an exported or published dataset. Opening a dataset obtained from another party and hovering the field runs the stored markup in the application's origin. That origin is shared with the FiftyOne server, whose media route returns the contents of a caller-named absolute path and which is unauthenticated in the open-source server, so the injected script can read local files and reach the dataset and operator endpoints as the viewing user.

Aug 26, 2026SunEditor is a lightweight and powerful WYSIWYG editor in vanilla JavaScript with no dependencies.CVE-2026-54606 · Other software · JiHong88 · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5
SunEditor is a lightweight and powerful WYSIWYG editor in vanilla JavaScript with no dependencies. Prior to 3.1.4, the SunEditor Embed plugin in src/plugins/modal/embed.js parses attacker-controlled raw embed HTML with DOMParser and processes the resulting DOM nodes. When an external script element follows a valid iframe, the plugin recreates a script element from the attacker-controlled src attribute and appends it to the live DOM, causing JavaScript execution in the editor page. If an application stores or reflects SunEditor content without additional backend sanitization, an attacker who can submit embed HTML can trigger stored or reflected cross-site scripting when another user opens, previews, renders, or edits the content, enabling access to page data and account actions as the victim. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.4.

Aug 26, 2026Reviews and Rating – Google Reviews: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-2388 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Reviews and Rating – Google Reviews plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in all versions up to, and including, 5.10. This is due to the wp_display() shortcode handler, used by multiple shortcodes, allowing attacker-controlled html_tags values to define raw HTML tags and then embedding untrusted vicinity content inside those tags. Aug 26, 2026Formidable Forms – WordPress Form Builder for Contact Forms, Calculators, Quizzes & More: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-18331 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The Formidable Forms – WordPress Form Builder for Contact Forms, Calculators, Quizzes & More plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'frm_user_id' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 6.33.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. By forging frm_user_id to match an administrator's user ID — discoverable via the public WordPress REST API — an unauthenticated attacker causes wp_kses_post() to serve as the only output filter, which preserves the injected payload structurally intact; the plugin's admin JavaScript then decodes and executes it automatically on page load.

Aug 26, 2026WP Fastest Cache – WordPress Cache: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-19760 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The WP Fastest Cache – WordPress Cache Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via HTTP Host Header in all versions up to, and including, 1.5.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires the Polylang or Polylang Pro plugin to be active and the Combine JS option to be enabled, as these conditions trigger the vulnerable Host-header-to-URL code path that writes attacker-controlled script src values into the shared page-cache file served to all subsequent visitors.

Aug 25, 2026Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-18547 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Textarea Profile Field with HTML Support (DOM Gadget via id Attribute) in all versions up to, and including, 2.12.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is possible because the wp_kses 'templates' allowlist permits the id attribute on div elements but does not neutralize unescaped quotes within its value; when pickadate.js concatenates the stored id value into an HTML string via jQuery .html() on profile page load, the smuggled onfocus and autofocus attribute syntax breaks out of attribute context and executes as JavaScript.

Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (XSS) vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows reflected cross-site scripting via the confirmation and magic link interaction forms. When a strategy is configured with require_interaction? set to true, AshAuthentication serves an intermediate HTML page asking the user to confirm the action by submitting a form. Both such pages embed a request parameter directly into a hidden input's value attribute without HTML escaping: lib/ash_authentication/add_ons/confirmation/confirmation_form.html.eex interpolates the confirm parameter, and lib/ash_authentication/strategies/magic_link/sign_in_form.html.eex interpolates the magic link token parameter. These templates are compiled with EEx.function_from_file/3 using plain <%= %> expressions, which perform no escaping, so the parameter is reflected verbatim. Neither accept handler validates the value before rendering it. AshAuthentication.AddOn.Confirmation.Plug.accept/2 only checks that a confirm key is present, and AshAuthentication.Strategy.MagicLink.Plug.accept/2 reads the parameter directly, so no token signature is verified at this stage and arbitrary attacker-supp

Aug 25, 2026tagDiv Composer: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-12561 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The tagDiv Composer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the vc_raw_html shortcode in all versions up to and including 5.4.5. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the vc_raw_html::render() method, which base64-decodes shortcode content (after a strip_tags() that is bypassed because the encoded payload contains no tags on save) and concatenates the result directly into the page HTML. Because WordPress's save-time wp_kses_post() filter only sees the inert base64 text inside a normal shortcode bracket and does not decode it, the dangerous tags survive into post_content and are emitted unescaped at render time. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page (for example, when an Editor or Administrator previews the pending post).

The Events Manager – Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more! plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'header_format' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 7.4.0.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. The shortcode entry point sanitizes 'header_format' via wp_kses(), but the unauthenticated 'search_events_grouped' AJAX action bypasses this sanitization entirely, leaving the parameter unsanitized before it is echoed into the HTML body in output_grouped().

- What to do
- Affects up to 7.4.0.1. Update Events Manager – Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more! to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.

Aug 24, 2026Cozy Blocks – Page Builder for Gutenberg Editor & FSE with 700+ Patterns, 58 Blocks & Templates: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-75019 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Cozy Blocks – Page Builder for Gutenberg Editor & FSE with 700+ Patterns, 58 Blocks & Templates plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via cozyHoverEffect Block Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.16 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The payload survives wp_kses_post on save because it contains no angle brackets — only a double-quote breakout of the cozyHoverEffect.boxShadow.color attribute value — allowing event-handler injection at the render stage.

Aug 24, 2026libp2p is a JavaScript implementation of the libp2p networking stack.CVE-2026-77384 · Other software · libp2p · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
libp2p is a JavaScript implementation of the libp2p networking stack. Prior to version 4.2.9, the reservation refresh path in reservation-store.ts reuses the same retimeableSignal but unconditionally registers another abort listener on every refresh. As a result, a remote peer can repeatedly send valid RESERVE requests for the same reservation, causing unbounded listener and closure growth in @libp2p/circuit-relay-v2 relay servers and leading to denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.9.

Aug 24, 2026The Zephyr virtio driver does not validate the descriptor-chain head id that the virtio device writes into the used ring.CVE-2026-13212 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgHigh 8.8
The Zephyr virtio driver does not validate the descriptor-chain head id that the virtio device writes into the used ring. In virtio_isr() (drivers/virtio/virtio_common.c), the device-written vq->used->ring[idx].id is used directly as an index into vq->recv_cbs[] and vq->desc[], which are both allocated with exactly vq->num entries. recv_cbs[] holds {cb, opaque} callback entries, and the indexed callback pointer is then invoked as cbe.cb(cbe.opaque, used_len). Because the id is consumed as a 16-bit value with no bound check, a malicious or compromised virtio backend (an untrusted hypervisor, or an untrusted hardware/peer-processor virtio device on a PCI or MMIO transport) can supply an id far beyond vq->num. This causes an out-of-bounds read of a {function pointer, argument} pair from heap memory beyond recv_cbs[], after which the driver calls that attacker-shaped pointer in the guest's interrupt context. No guest privileges or user interaction are required; the backend triggers it by writing the shared used ring and raising the queue interrupt. The result is an arbitrary / attacker-influenced function-pointer call in the Zephyr guest, i.e. a control-flow-hijack primitive that can

Cross-site scripting in the Web Administration interface of Network Optix Nx Witness VMS before version 6.1.3 on Linux, Windows and MacOS allows an adjacent-network attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the browser of an authenticated administrator and steal the administrator's session token, resulting in Administrator Account Takeover. An attacker who controls an Nx server on the same network segment can set that server's site name to a script payload, which executes when an administrator opens the "Merge with Another Site" dialog and the site selection list is displayed.Solution: Update to Nx Witness VMS version 6.1.3 or later.

Aug 24, 2026RansomLook contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the cryptocurrency wallet detail view.CVE-2026-78391 · Other software · ransomlook · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8High 8.8
RansomLook contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the cryptocurrency wallet detail view. Cryptocurrency addresses and blockchain names originating from external sources, including the public crowd-sourced ransomwhe.re feed, were stored without sufficient validation and later embedded directly into an inline JavaScript onclick handler. Although Jinja HTML autoescaping was applied, it does not provide adequate protection when untrusted data is inserted into a JavaScript string inside an HTML attribute. HTML entities such as ' are decoded by the browser's HTML parser before the resulting attribute is interpreted as JavaScript. Consequently, a specially crafted cryptocurrency address containing quote characters and JavaScript syntax could escape the intended string literal and execute arbitrary JavaScript when a user clicked the affected wallet's CSV export button. Because cryptocurrency information imported from an untrusted upstream could reach the vulnerable rendering path, exploitation may not require an authenticated RansomLook account if an attacker can introduce a malicious wallet record into a consumed external data source. Successful exploitation cou
