Sep 15, 2026libp2p-rust is the official Rust language implementation of the libp2p networking stack.CVE-2026-61544 · Other software · libp2p · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
libp2p-rust is the official Rust language implementation of the libp2p networking stack. Prior to 0.13.1, libp2p-quic could panic during an inbound QUIC handshake when a remote peer presented a valid short-lived libp2p TLS certificate and delayed the final TLS 1.3 handshake fragment until after the certificate expired. In the Quinn post-handshake upgrade path, transports/quic/src/connection/connecting.rs called libp2p_tls::certificate::parse a second time in remote_peer_id and used expect on the result. The repeated wall-clock validity check could reject the now-expired certificate, causing the expect call to terminate any application exposing an affected libp2p-quic listener. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.13.1.

Sep 15, 2026netty-incubator-codec-ohttp implements Oblivious HTTP (OHTTP) gateway and client functionality using Netty.CVE-2026-54251 · Other software · netty · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
netty-incubator-codec-ohttp implements Oblivious HTTP (OHTTP) gateway and client functionality using Netty. Prior to 0.0.23.Final, the OHTTP gateway decryption path in codec-ohttp/src/main/java/io/netty/incubator/codec/ohttp/OHttpRequestResponseContext.java allocates a pooled direct ByteBuf for decrypted plaintext before the AEAD tag is verified. When an invalid tag causes decryptChunk() to throw CryptoException, OHttpRequestResponseContext.decodeChunk() does not release the ByteBuf because the allocation is not guarded by try/finally. Repeated invalid encrypted requests can therefore leak native off-heap memory until the gateway is unable to continue serving requests. This issue is fixed in version 0.0.23.Final.

Sep 15, 2026Inspektor Gadget is a set of tools and framework for data collection and system inspection on Kubernetes clusters and Linux hosts using eBPF.CVE-2026-53941 · Other software · inspektor-gadget · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
Inspektor Gadget is a set of tools and framework for data collection and system inspection on Kubernetes clusters and Linux hosts using eBPF. From 0.27.0 until 0.53.1, the uprobe library resolver can allow an unprivileged container to consume excessive CPU and block other containers from starting by supplying a crafted /etc/ld.so.cache file while an uprobe-based gadget is active. The parser in pkg/uprobetracer/ldcache_parser.go trusts EntryCount enough to perform excessive iteration, computes cache1Len with overflowing uint32 arithmetic, and repeatedly calls readStringFromBytes in pkg/uprobetracer/bytes.go, where byte-by-byte immutable string concatenation produces quadratic work. While this processing occurs, pkg/container-hook holds the fanotify container-start pause, allowing a crafted cache to delay startup for roughly a minute, prevent Docker from starting other containers, and degrade monitoring. Processing caches from already-running containers can still consume CPU but does not hold the new-container startup pause, and the advisory establishes no confidentiality or integrity impact. This issue is fixed in version 0.53.1.

Sep 15, 2026OpenCost provides cost monitoring for Kubernetes workloads and cloud costs.CVE-2026-44300 · Other software · opencost · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
OpenCost provides cost monitoring for Kubernetes workloads and cloud costs. Prior to 1.121.0, the POST /serviceKey endpoint in pkg/costmodel/router.go allows a network client to invoke AddServiceKey without mandatory authentication and submit an arbitrary key form value that is written to the GCP service-account key.json file returned by GetGCPAuthSecretFilePath in core/pkg/env/core.go. The attacker controls the file contents but not the CONFIG_PATH-derived directory, the key.json filename, or the file mode. Replacing the credential contents can disrupt GCP cost collection or cause OpenCost to use attacker-selected credentials, and the wildcard Access-Control-Allow-Origin response permits browser-assisted requests when the service is reachable from a browser. This issue is fixed in version 1.121.0.

Sep 15, 2026Inspektor Gadget is a set of tools and framework for data collection and system inspection on Kubernetes clusters and Linux hosts using eBPF.CVE-2026-44778 · Other software · inspektor-gadget · reported by GitHubLow 2.9
Inspektor Gadget is a set of tools and framework for data collection and system inspection on Kubernetes clusters and Linux hosts using eBPF. From 0.28.0 until 0.53.1, the USDT note parser in pkg/uprobetracer/usdt.go can allow an unprivileged container to crash or exhaust the memory of the privileged Inspektor Gadget process when a custom gadget containing a SEC("usdt/...") eBPF section attaches to a crafted ELF binary. The getUsdtInfo() function reads the .note.stapsdt section without validating that DescSize is large enough for three address fields, allowing an out-of-bounds slice operation to panic, and it uses untrusted NameSize and DescSize values for allocations that can consume gigabytes of memory. The parser also invokes debug/elf without panic recovery, allowing other malformed ELF structures to terminate the process. No gadget shipped by Inspektor Gadget uses USDT probes, so only deployments using custom USDT gadgets are affected, and the demonstrated impact is denial of service rather than code execution or privilege escalation. This issue is fixed in version 0.53.1.

Sep 15, 2026Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition in Slab safeurl allows an attacker who controls a hostname's DNS responses to reach internal network destinatiCVE-2026-77972 · Other software · Slab · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbCritical 9
Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition in Slab safeurl allows an attacker who controls a hostname's DNS responses to reach internal network destinations that validation rejected. Validation returns a verdict and not the address it approved, so the HTTP clients the library ships receive the original hostname and resolve it a second time when the request is made. An attacker who controls the authoritative DNS for a name can answer the first lookup with a permitted address and the second with a blocked one, and the request then reaches a destination validation never approved. The same window opens without an attacker whenever a name legitimately resolves to different addresses across lookups, such as short record lifetimes or rotation between several addresses. Sep 15, 2026Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in Slab safeurl allows an attacker who controls a validated URL to reach internal network destinations the librCVE-2026-77866 · Other software · Slab · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbCritical 9
Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in Slab safeurl allows an attacker who controls a validated URL to reach internal network destinations the library is configured to block. Only IPv4 addresses are matched against the reserved ranges and the blocklist. Every other address is treated as matching nothing, so a destination that is rejected in its IPv4 form is accepted when written as an IPv6 address, IPv6 entries in the blocklist never match, and a host that resolves to no IPv4 address is accepted regardless of where it points. Deployments that rely on the allowlist instead are unaffected, because there an unmatched address is rejected. This issue affects safeurl: from 0.1.0 onward.

Sep 15, 2026GeoNetwork is a catalog application to manage spatially referenced resources.CVE-2026-55864 · Other software · geonetwork · reported by GitHubHigh 7.8
GeoNetwork is a catalog application to manage spatially referenced resources. Prior to 4.2.17 and 4.4.12, POST /api/tools/ogc/sld accepted a caller-supplied WMS server URL and performed a server-side HTTP GET without destination validation. An anonymous attacker could make the GeoNetwork server send requests to internal hosts that are not publicly reachable. When the outbound response was XML, the endpoint could store and return the fetched body, making the request forgery non-blind and enabling internal data disclosure, authorization bypass, and network reconnaissance. Sep 15, 2026Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes.CVE-2026-55636 · Other software · projectcapsule · reported by GitHubMedium 5.7
Capsule is a multi-tenancy and policy-based framework for Kubernetes. From 0.13.0 until 0.13.6, charts/capsule/templates/configuration.yaml configures the validating webhook with namespace/finalize instead of the Kubernetes resource name namespaces/finalize. A user with namespaces/finalize RBAC can send a PUT request to /api/v1/namespaces/{namespace}/finalize, and the singular rule never matches the plural resource, so the validating webhook is not invoked and the user can change the namespace tenant label. matchPolicy: Equivalent does not compensate because it handles API group and version equivalence rather than resource-name errors. The dataplane authentication token is sent over the unverified connection, allowing an on-path attacker to intercept the token, impersonate the control plane, inject a forged bootstrap configuration, and take over the proxy. Standard Kubernetes installations created by kumactl install control-plane or the official Helm chart are unaffected because the mutating admission webhook injects KUMA_CONTROL_PLANE_CA_CERT into each sidecar. Sep 15, 2026free5GC is an open-source implementation of the 5G core network.CVE-2026-47780 · Other software · free5gc · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
free5GC is an open-source implementation of the 5G core network. In 4.2.3 and earlier, HandleCreateEeSubscriptions and HandleQueryeesubscriptions in free5gc/udr internal/sbi/api_datarepository.go validate the ueId path value with a regular expression whose final .+ alternative accepts every non-empty string instead of restricting identifiers to supported SUPI and GPSI formats. An actor with network reachability to the UDR SBI can submit a non-3GPP identifier to /nudr-dr/v2/subscription-data/{ueId}/context-data/ee-subscriptions, causing the identifier to pass validation and enter the normal create or query flow. The advisory does not independently establish whether authentication is required. Invalid identifiers can be persisted and retrieved as subscription records, enabling unauthorized data creation, UDR namespace pollution, persistent subscriber-metadata corruption, and interference with downstream components that trust stored identifiers to use valid 3GPP formats. The exposure is most relevant in lab, test, or loosely segmented service-based-interface deployments where direct UDR access is possible.

OpenBMC's IPMI implementation, phosphor-net-ipmid, contains a logic flaw in which an unauthenticated client can force the RAKP Message 1 handler to return before it overwrites the authentication object's constructor defaults. The IPMI service then accepts a RAKP Message 3 whose HMAC is computed with the constant 20-byte 'userKey' initialized from the string '0penBmc' and an often-predictable 'bmcRandomNum'. A race condition during supplicant re-authentication may leave a stale ACL entry that persists in the system. If the AclAgent subsequently restarts, this stale entry may be applied to new supplicants, resulting in incorrect access control enforcement. User interaction (an AclAgent restart by an administrator) is required for the unintended behavior to take effect.

On affected platforms running Arista EOS with both 802.1X port authentication and the RADIUS proxy feature configured with dynamic authorization, a low-privileged attacker on an adjacent network segment who induces a RADIUS packet through a configured RADIUS proxy client can prevent RADIUS dynamic authorization messages, including Change-of-Authorization (CoA) and Disconnect-Requests as defined in RFC 5176, from being applied to locally authenticated 802.1X sessions. This allows an endpoint session that a RADIUS server or network access control system has ordered disconnected to remain authorized on the network. Both 802.1X port authentication with dynamic authorization and RADIUS proxy with dynamic authorization must be explicitly configured for a deployment to be exposed to this issue. This issue was discovered internally by Arista, and the company is not aware of any malicious exploitation of this vulnerability in customer networks.

Sep 14, 2026Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway.CVE-2026-53719 · Other software · envoyproxy · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway. Prior to 1.7.4 and 1.8.1, translateSecurityPolicyForRoute in internal/gatewayapi/securitypolicy.go dereferences a nil authorization value when a namespace-scoped tenant creates a SecurityPolicy targeting a TCPRoute and omits spec.authorization. The persistent object triggers the panic on every reconcile; recovery in message/watchutil.go keeps the process alive but unwinds the runner/runner.go handle callback, stalling controller-wide xDS and infrastructure intermediate-representation publishing until an administrator deletes the object. The data plane continues to serve the last known good configuration while publication is stalled. This issue is fixed in versions 1.7.4 and 1.8.1.

Sep 14, 2026Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway.CVE-2026-53718 · Other software · envoyproxy · reported by GitHubMedium 6.4
Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway. Prior to 1.7.4 and 1.8.1, an HTTPRoute can use an extension-managed custom backendRef to reference a backend resource in another namespace without a matching Gateway API ReferenceGrant in the target namespace. The custom-backend branch in internal/gatewayapi/route.go omits validateBackendNamespace, allowing the route-owning namespace to bind to and use the resource without the backend namespace owner's consent and violating the Gateway API cross-namespace authorization model. This issue is fixed in versions 1.7.4 and 1.8.1.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
