  • Sep 28, 2026The Kaon AR2140X router improperly issues session cookies in responses to unauthenticated HTTP requests.CVE-2026-52749 · Other software · Kaon · reported by cvd@cert.plMedium 5.3

The Kaon AR2140X router improperly issues session cookies in responses to unauthenticated HTTP requests. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain a valid session identifier without providing credentials, resulting in an authentication bypass. With this access, the attacker can perform unauthorized actions on upgrade-related functionalities. These actions can be abused to force the router to issue GET requests to arbitrarily chosen domains. This issue was identified in firmware versions up to 4.2.17. Status of newer versions remains unknown.

  • Sep 27, 2026Without NO_SESSION_CACHE_REF, wolfSSL_get_session() does not return a session object but a ClientSession reference of the form {row, index, hash(sessionID)} intCVE-2026-94419 · Other software · wolfSSL · reported by facts@wolfssl.comLow 2.3

Without NO_SESSION_CACHE_REF, wolfSSL_get_session() does not return a session object but a ClientSession reference of the form {row, index, hash(sessionID)} into the process-global SessionCache, and ClientSessionToSession() validates it against that hash alone. Because the TLS 1.2 session ID is chosen by the server and sent in clear, AddSessionToCache() matches any other server's session on the same ID and overwrites the client-side entry with that server's master secret, cipher suite and version, while the handle continues to resolve; nothing on the write path compares the peer, the application's server ID or the WOLFSSL_CTX. Resuming through the handle then produces an abbreviated handshake in which no Certificate message is sent, so neither chain verification nor wolfSSL_check_domain_name() runs, and the attacker is accepted as the original server for the whole of that connection. Affected builds are those leaving NO_SESSION_CACHE_REF, NO_SESSION_CACHE, NO_CLIENT_CACHE and TITAN_SESSION_CACHE all undefined, which includes a plain ./configure, --enable-opensslextra and --enable-opensslall; fifteen integration options define NO_SESSION_CACHE_REF and are therefore not affected, amo

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package `openclaw`) before 2026.8.1 incorrectly enforces sender tool policies during session-memory filename generation.CVE-2026-100545 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6

OpenClaw (npm package `openclaw`) before 2026.8.1 incorrectly enforces sender tool policies during session-memory filename generation. In affected versions, filename generation created an embedded helper that retained tools which the originating sender's policy had removed. When session-memory filename generation was enabled for an agent reachable by lower-trust senders, model-mediated instructions could cause the helper to invoke tools outside that sender's effective policy; the demonstrated impact was the creation of persistent scheduled work. Exploitability depends on the model acting on the injected instruction and on which tools the helper exposes. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1; as a workaround, disable session-memory filename generation for agents reachable by lower-trust senders.

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') versions >= 2026.4.5 and < 2026.8.1 can lose the originating requester's restrictions and untrusted provenance when session-derived text is persisted to session memory. In deployments where session-memory capture and dreaming are enabled, a restricted external sender whose messages are admitted with limited tools can persist instructions that are later supplied to an unattended background (dreaming) agent holding broader file and command capabilities, allowing actions beyond the authority of the original turn and affecting files, commands, or services available to that agent. Exploitation requires the content to be captured, selected for later processing, and followed by the model. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: safely drain sessions during logoff SMB3 multichannel allows requests for one session to run on multiple connections. Wait for all channels bound to a session before freeing shared session objects. A deferred byte-range lock remains counted as a running request and only wakes when its file closes. Wake blocked locks during the drain without unpublishing or modifying their file objects. Synchronous CANCEL requests must invoke their cancellation callback to wake pending operations, while CHANGE_NOTIFY completion remains specific to the asynchronous path. Serialize session teardown with channel registration and previous-session cleanup, and use atomic work-state transitions so LOGOFF, CANCEL, and connection teardown invoke cancellation callbacks only once.

  • Sep 23, 2026SigNoz versions from v0.98.0 up to (but not including) v0.143.0, when configured to use the opaque session tokenizer (which was not the default before v0.143.0)CVE-2026-97056 · Other software · SigNoz · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.6

SigNoz versions from v0.98.0 up to (but not including) v0.143.0, when configured to use the opaque session tokenizer (which was not the default before v0.143.0), do not revoke a user's existing login sessions when the user's password is reset with a reset token (UpdatePasswordByResetPasswordToken, reachable via POST /api/v2/factor_password/reset) or when the user is deleted (DeleteUser, reachable via DELETE /api/v2/users/{id}). Neither code path calls the tokenizer's DeleteTokensByUserID, so cached tokens and identities are left in place. An attacker who already holds a session token for the account — for example from a stolen browser session or from a user being offboarded — retains the account's full access, up to administrator, after a password reset until the token reaches its configured maximum lifetime (30 days by default), and after user deletion until the token next rotates (30 minutes by default). This defeats password reset and user deletion as a means of terminating access. The issue is fixed in v0.143.0.

  • Sep 22, 2026An HTTP endpoint intended for provisioning enterprise and reseller organisations is reachable without any session.CVE-2026-94455 · Other software · GitroomHQ · reported by 4cdc9741-f887-419a-a2fd-acbbd2729276High 7.1

An HTTP endpoint intended for provisioning enterprise and reseller organisations is reachable without any session. The authentication middleware is bound only to an explicit list of controllers, and the enterprise controller is not on that list, so no authentication runs for these routes. The endpoint's only check is that the request body carries a token bearing a valid signature from the instance secret. It does not check what that token was issued for. Login tokens are signed with the same secret and carry no purpose, audience or expiry claim, so an ordinary user's own session token satisfies the check. Presented with such a token, the endpoint creates a new organisation holding the highest subscription tier, flagged as lifetime and with a channel allowance far above any sold plan, creates an organisation-owner account alongside it, and returns the new organisation's API key in the response body. That key is immediately valid against the public API.

Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability in OAuth token issuance in hexpm hexpm allows a user whose organization membership or session has ended to keep reading the organization's private packages and their documentation tarballs via a retained refresh token. generate_refresh_token/4 in lib/hexpm/oauth/jwt.ex signs the refresh token with the same iss, aud and scope claims as the access token, so it carries the same repository:<org> scopes. The CDN service that serves private repositories verifies the signature and time claims and then authorizes from the scope claim, with no database lookup and no way to tell the two token kinds apart. Removing a member or revoking a session therefore takes effect at the CDN only when the 30 day refresh token expires, instead of after the 30 minute access token lifetime. Access is read-only and limited to organizations the account belonged to when the token was granted. This issue affects hex.pm: from 2025-10-10 before 2026-09-22.

Apache Airflow: the Core API logout endpoint revokes only a session token presented as the _token cookie. When a client logs out presenting its credential as an Authorization bearer header instead, the endpoint returns its normal logout response but revokes nothing, so the token remains valid until it expires. An attacker who already holds a copy of that token keeps the victim's access after the victim has logged out and believes the session ended; the default token lifetime is 24 hours and is configurable. Affects API clients that authenticate with a bearer token rather than the browser session cookie. The attacker must already possess a copy of a valid token; obtaining one is outside the scope of this issue, and no privileges beyond the victim's own are gained. Users of apache-airflow are recommended to upgrade to apache-airflow version 3.3.2 or later, which fixes the issue.

  • Sep 21, 2026When a request to the Airflow core API carries both a session cookie and an explicit `Authorization: Bearer` token, Airflow resolves the caller from the cookie CVE-2026-82355 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 4.2

When a request to the Airflow core API carries both a session cookie and an explicit `Authorization: Bearer` token, Airflow resolves the caller from the cookie and ignores the bearer token, inverting the intended precedence of bearer over cookie. The request then executes -- and is recorded in the audit log -- as the cookie's principal rather than the identity the client explicitly presented. Only Apache Airflow 3.3.0 and 3.3.1 are affected. Earlier releases do not contain the code path that caches the cookie-derived user, and are not vulnerable. Exploiting this requires an attacker to first place a valid session cookie of their own into the victim's browser or client: for example by cookie tossing from a sibling subdomain, through cross-site scripting in a separate application sharing a parent domain, or via a shared workstation. Deployments that host the Airflow UI on a domain shared with other applications are therefore the most exposed; a deployment on a dedicated domain with no co-hosted applications is not reachable this way. The consequence is principal confusion and misattributed audit records rather than a direct privilege escalation. Users of 3.3.0 or 3.3.1 should upgr

Session Fixation vulnerability in team-alembic ash_authentication allows an attacker who can plant a session identifier in a victim's browser to hold an authenticated session once that victim signs in. AshAuthentication.Plug.Helpers.store_in_session/2 writes the authenticated subject into the existing session with Plug.Conn.put_session/3 and never calls Plug.Conn.configure_session(renew: true), so the identifier the visitor arrived with carries into their authenticated session. Every authentication event reaches this one function: the default success/4 injected by AshAuthentication.Phoenix.Controller.__using__/1, the AuthController emitted by mix ash_authentication_phoenix.install, and remember-me auto-login. AshAuthentication.Phoenix.Plug.store_in_session/2 is a defdelegate to it. Logout does not close the window either, because clear_session/2 ends with Plug.Conn.clear_session/1, which clears session contents but leaves the identifier intact, so a planted identifier survives a logout-then-login cycle. This issue affects ash_authentication: from 0.2.0 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.0 before 5.0.0-rc.14.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: IB/isert: post the full-feature receive buffers after session registration isert_put_login_tx() posts the full-feature receive buffers before __transport_register_session() runs, so an initiator that does not wait for the final Login Response can still have a SCSI command executed against an se_session whose se_tpg is NULL - the same oops as the previous patch, at target_submit+0xbe. Post them from isert_get_rx_pdu(), which the previous patch already uses to send that response, and post them before that send: the receive queue is filled at the moment the initiator is told it may use it. Allocating there keeps the existing property that a memory allocation failure cannot happen once the final Login Response is on the wire. The receive queue is already empty between the final Login Request and isert_post_recvm(); this moves the second point later, from a median of 92 us to 172 us over 1200 logins. Only an initiator that sends before it has been told to can reach that window, and on IB and RoCE its send is retried there until the buffers appear - isert_rdma_accept() asks for rnr_retry_count = 7. iWARP has no RN

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: free preauth sessions on connection teardown SMB3.1.1 multichannel binding preserves the preauthentication hash in a preauth_session between the NTLM negotiate and authenticate requests. The binding NTLM negotiate allocates this object and returns STATUS_MORE_PROCESSING_REQUIRED. If the client disconnects before it sends the authenticate request, neither the authenticate nor error cleanup paths free the object. Release any remaining preauthentication sessions when tearing down the connection. Initialize the list when allocating the connection so that this cleanup is safe regardless of the negotiated dialect.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: scope session state changes to bound connections ksmbd_all_conn_set_status() treats every connection whose transient binding flag is set as belonging to the target SessionId. A logoff or session replacement can consequently move an unrelated connection to NEED_RECONNECT or NEED_SETUP. Pass the target session itself and select connections using either the connection-local session xarray or the session's permanent channel list. Use the same association test while waiting for requests to drain. Serialize session-wide status changes under request_lock and do not overwrite EXITING or RELEASING. Protect the shutdown transition with the same lock so a concurrent session update cannot revive a closing connection.

  • Sep 17, 2026Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication and AshAuthentication Phoenix allows a revoked session to remain fully authenticCVE-2026-86533 · Other software · team-alembic · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbCritical 9.1

Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication and AshAuthentication Phoenix allows a revoked session to remain fully authenticated. A resource configured with session_identifier :jti and require_token_presence_for_authentication? disabled stores its session value as <jti>:<subject>. The jti is there so that signing out can revoke that one session. Neither reader consults it: AshAuthentication.Plug.Helpers.authenticate_resource_from_session/4 and AshAuthentication.Phoenix.LiveSession.on_mount/4 both split the value with split_identifier/2, discard the jti and pass the bare subject to AshAuthentication.subject_to_user/3, which reloads the record. The token-presence branch of each function does check its token, calling AshAuthentication.TokenResource.Actions.get_token/3 with the jti and the purpose user. Because the revocation record is never read, neither its revoked state nor its expiry constrains the session, so a session captured before sign-out keeps working. This issue affects ash_authentication: from 4.9.1 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.0 before 5.0.0-rc.14; ash_authentication_phoenix: from 2.10.0 before 2.17.4 and from 3.0.0-rc.0 before 3.0

Authentication Bypass by Primary Weakness vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an unconfirmed user to obtain a session, defeating a mandatory email confirmation requirement. AshAuthentication.Strategy.Password.Actions.check_user/2 decides whether the attribute named by require_confirmed_with is set using a bare is_nil(Map.get(user, value)). When that attribute is not selected on the loaded record Map.get/2 returns %Ash.NotLoaded{}, and when a field policy denies it for the current actor it returns %Ash.ForbiddenField{}. Neither is nil, so the rejection branch is skipped and sign-i require_confirmed_with is enforced in two places, and neither holds in every configuration. sign_in_with_token and register are checked only inside AshAuthentication.Strategy.Password.Actions, not on the action itself, so any caller that invokes the action directly skips the check. An API layer such as AshGraphql or AshJsonApi invokes the action directly, so this applies to the default configuration. Where a check does run it compares the confirmation attribute against nil. That attribute holds %Ash.NotLoaded{} or %Ash.ForbiddenField{} when it sets select_by_default?: false, when an AP

Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an attacker who obtains a victim's OAuth2 state value to replay the callback and sign that victim into an attacker-controlled account. AshAuthentication.Strategy.OAuth2.Plug.callback/2 clears the stored session_params through a rebinding step inside its with chain, conn <- delete_session(conn, session_key). Elixir evaluates the else block in the scope enclosing the with, so every failure path (the provider returning ?error=access_denied, an invalid code, a token-exchange error, or a registration or sign-in failure) reaches store_authentication_result/2 holding the original connection and the session entry is never removed. The value the module's own comment describes as protection against a CSRF-related attack is therefore consumed only when authentication succeeds, and survives a cancelled or failed attempt until the next request phase or session expiry. This issue affects ash_authentication: from 0.6.0 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.0 before 5.0.0-rc.14.
