In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: seq: dummy: fix UMP event stack overread The dummy sequencer port forwards events by copying an incoming struct snd_seq_event into a stack temporary, rewriting source and destination, and dispatching the temporary to subscribers. That legacy event storage is smaller than struct snd_seq_ump_event. When a UMP event reaches the dummy client, the copy leaves the UMP flag set but only provides legacy-sized stack storage. The subscriber delivery path then uses snd_seq_event_packet_size() and copies a UMP-sized packet from that stack object, reading past the end of the temporary. Use the existing union __snd_seq_event storage and copy the packet size reported for the incoming event before rewriting the common routing fields. This preserves the full UMP packet for UMP events while keeping legacy event handling unchanged.

  • Jun 17, 2026Impact: undici's cookie parser in parseSetCookie percent-decodes cookie values via qsUnescape, turning encoded sequences like %0D%0A, %00, %3B, and %3D into theCVE-2026-9679 · Other software · undici · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbMedium 5.9

Impact: undici's cookie parser in parseSetCookie percent-decodes cookie values via qsUnescape, turning encoded sequences like %0D%0A, %00, %3B, and %3D into their literal byte equivalents. RFC 6265 §5.4 does not specify any decoding and browsers do not decode either. Applications that parse a Set-Cookie header and then forward the parsed value into a response header (proxies, middleware, SSR frameworks) become vulnerable to HTTP response header injection: an attacker-controlled upstream can inject arbitrary Set-Cookie, Location, or Cache-Control headers into the application's downstream response, enabling session fixation, open redirect, or cache poisoning. Affected applications are those that use undici's cookie parsing (parseSetCookie, parseCookie, getSetCookies) and forward the parsed cookie value into a response header. This was introduced in undici 7.0.0 via PR #3789. Patches: Upgrade to undici v6.26.0, v7.28.0 or v8.5.0. Workarounds: If upgrade is not immediately possible, do not forward values returned by parseSetCookie/parseCookie/getSetCookies directly into response headers; sanitize the value first to strip or reject CR, LF, NUL, ;, and = bytes.

  • Jun 9, 2026Logseq exposes an IPC handler that allows the renderer process to execute shell commands.CVE-2026-9279 · Other software · logseq · reported by cvd@cert.plHigh 8.7

Logseq exposes an IPC handler that allows the renderer process to execute shell commands. While an allowlist restricts the command name (e.g. `git`, `pandoc`, `grep`), the argument string is concatenated with the command and passed to `child_process.spawn` with the `shell: true` option, allowing shell metacharacters in the arguments to bypass the allowlist. An attacker with JavaScript execution in the renderer (e.g. via XSS or a malicious plugin) can execute arbitrary shell commands with the privileges of the Logseq process, leading to remote code execution on the host. • Jun 8, 2026Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences in HTTP Headers ('HTTP Request/Response Splitting') vulnerability in ninenines cowlib allows HTTP response splitting vCVE-2026-43966 · Other software · ninenines · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.3

Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences in HTTP Headers ('HTTP Request/Response Splitting') vulnerability in ninenines cowlib allows HTTP response splitting via non-VCHAR bytes in structured-fields string values. cow_http_struct_hd:escape_string/2 in cowlib only escapes \ and ", passing all other bytes through verbatim. This creates an encoder/decoder asymmetry: the matching parser accepts only printable ASCII (0x20–0x7E, excluding " and \), but the encoder emits any byte including CR and LF. An application that builds a structured HTTP header via cow_http_struct_hd:item/1 (or a higher-level wrapper such as cow_http_hd:wt_protocol/1) from attacker-controlled input can have \r\n injected into the serialized header value. Once on the wire, the injected CRLF terminates the current header and any following bytes are interpreted as a new header, enabling HTTP response splitting. This issue affects cowlib: from 2.9.0 onward.

  • Jun 8, 2026Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences ('CRLF Injection') vulnerability in wojtekmach Req allows multipart parameter smuggling via attacker-influenced part mCVE-2026-49756 · Other software · wojtekmach · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.1

Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences ('CRLF Injection') vulnerability in wojtekmach Req allows multipart parameter smuggling via attacker-influenced part metadata. Req.Utils.encode_form_part/2 in lib/req/utils.ex builds the per-part headers by interpolating the caller-supplied name, filename, and content_type values directly into the content-disposition and content-type lines with no escaping or CRLF stripping. A value containing ", \r, or \n closes the surrounding quoted value and starts a new header line; an additional \r\n--<boundary> terminates the current part and prepends a smuggled part of the attacker's choosing. This is reachable through every supported way of supplying a part. It is particularly easy when value is a %File.Stream{}, because filename then defaults to Path.basename(stream.path) and POSIX filenames may legitimately contain \r and \n. Any application that forwards user-controlled filenames (or field names / MIME types) through Req.post/2 with form_multipart: lets an attacker inject arbitrary headers into the outgoing multipart body or smuggle additional fields and parts into the request the victim service sends downstream. • Jun 2, 2026Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences in HTTP Headers ('HTTP Request/Response Splitting') vulnerability in elixir-tesla tesla allows HTTP header injection vCVE-2026-48596 · Other software · elixir-tesla · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.1

Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences in HTTP Headers ('HTTP Request/Response Splitting') vulnerability in elixir-tesla tesla allows HTTP header injection via Tesla.Multipart.add_content_type_param/2. Tesla.Multipart.add_content_type_param/2 appends caller-supplied strings to the multipart content_type_params list without validating for CR (\r) or LF (\n) characters. Tesla.Multipart.headers/1 then joins these params verbatim with "; " to construct the outgoing Content-Type header value. A param containing \r\n splits the header line, allowing arbitrary headers to be injected into the outbound HTTP request. • Jun 2, 2026Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences ('CRLF Injection') vulnerability in elixir-mint Mint allows HTTP Request Splitting and HTTP Request Smuggling.CVE-2026-48861 · Other software · elixir-mint · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.1

Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences ('CRLF Injection') vulnerability in elixir-mint Mint allows HTTP Request Splitting and HTTP Request Smuggling. In lib/mint/http1/request.ex, the encode_request_line/2 function splices the caller-supplied method and target arguments directly into the HTTP/1 request line without any character validation: [method, ?\s, target, " HTTP/1.1\r\n"]. An application that forwards attacker-controlled input as the HTTP method or target to Mint.HTTP.request/5 is therefore exposed to request-line CRLF injection: the attacker can terminate the request line early, inject arbitrary headers, and smuggle an entirely separate pipelined HTTP request onto the same TCP connection. Mint 1.7.0 introduced validate_request_target/2, which rejects CRLF and other control characters in the target by default and closes the path/query vector unless the caller opts out via skip_target_validation: true. The method field remains unvalidated, so the method-based injection is exploitable under the default Mint configuration on all versions. This issue affects mint: from 0.1.0 before 1.9.0.

Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences ('CRLF Injection') vulnerability in benoitc hackney allows HTTP Request/Response Splitting. The WebSocket upgrade code in src/hackney_ws.erl copies the host, path, headers (ExtraHeaders), and protocols options from the caller-supplied opts map into the internal #ws_data{} record in init/1 and then splices them verbatim into the raw HTTP/1.1 upgrade request by binary concatenation in do_handshake/1. • May 11, 2026Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences ('CRLF Injection') vulnerability in ninenines cowlib allows HTTP request splitting and cookie smuggling via unvalidateCVE-2026-43969 · Other software · ninenines · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.1

Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences ('CRLF Injection') vulnerability in ninenines cowlib allows HTTP request splitting and cookie smuggling via unvalidated cookie name and value fields. cow_cookie:cookie/1 in cowlib builds a client-side Cookie: request header from a list of name-value pairs without validating either field. An attacker who controls the cookie names or values passed to this function can inject ;, ,, CR, LF, or TAB characters into the serialized header. This enables two classes of attack: cookie smuggling within a single header (e.g. injecting ; admin=1 to introduce a phantom cookie that the receiving server treats as authentic) and HTTP request header splitting (injecting CRLF to append arbitrary headers or smuggle a complete second request against a shared upstream proxy). The decoder side (parse_cookie_name/1, parse_cookie_value/1) and setcookie/3 already validate and reject these characters; the encoder alone is missing the check. This issue affects cowlib: from 2.9.0 before 2.21.0.

  • May 11, 2026Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences ('CRLF Injection') vulnerability in ninenines cowlib allows SSE event splitting and injection via unvalidated field vaCVE-2026-43968 · Other software · ninenines · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.3

Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences ('CRLF Injection') vulnerability in ninenines cowlib allows SSE event splitting and injection via unvalidated field values. cow_sse:event/1 in cowlib guards the id and event fields against \n but not against bare \r, and the internal prefix_lines/2 function used for data and comment fields splits only on \n. Because the SSE specification requires decoders to treat \r\n, \r, and \n as equivalent line terminators, an attacker who controls any of these fields can inject additional SSE lines and forge a complete event with an arbitrary event type and data payload on the receiving end. In typical deployments where browser EventSource clients or other SSE consumers dispatch on event.type and render event.data, this enables event splitting, client-side logic manipulation, and stored-XSS-equivalent behaviour when event data is inserted into the DOM. This issue affects cowlib from 2.6.0 before 2.16.1.

XML::LibXML versions through 2.0210 for Perl read out-of-bounds heap memory when parsing XML node names containing truncated UTF-8 byte sequences. A node name ending in the middle of a multi byte UTF-8 sequence causes the parser to read past the end of the input string into adjacent heap memory. Any Perl process that passes attacker controlled strings to XML::LibXML's DOM node-name methods can reach this path on the default API. The likely consequence is a crash, causing denial of service.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mpls: add seqcount to protect the platform_label{,s} pair The RCU-protected codepaths (mpls_forward, mpls_dump_routes) can have an inconsistent view of platform_labels vs platform_label in case of a concurrent resize (resize_platform_label_table, under platform_mutex). This can lead to OOB accesses. This patch adds a seqcount, so that we get a consistent snapshot. Note that mpls_label_ok is also susceptible to this, so the check against RTA_DST in rtm_to_route_config, done outside platform_mutex, is not sufficient. This value gets passed to mpls_label_ok once more in both mpls_route_add and mpls_route_del, so there is no issue, but that additional check must not be removed.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ipv6: flowlabel: defer exclusive option free until RCU teardown `ip6fl_seq_show()` walks the global flowlabel hash under the seq-file RCU read-side lock and prints `fl->opt->opt_nflen` when an option block is present. Exclusive flowlabels currently free `fl->opt` as soon as `fl->users` drops to zero in `fl_release()`. However, the surrounding `struct ip6_flowlabel` remains visible in the global hash table until later garbage collection removes it and `fl_free_rcu()` finally tears it down. A concurrent `/proc/net/ip6_flowlabel` reader can therefore race that early `kfree()` and dereference freed option state, triggering a crash in `ip6fl_seq_show()`. Fix this by keeping `fl->opt` alive until `fl_free_rcu()`. That matches the lifetime already required for the enclosing flowlabel while readers can still reach it under RCU.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: stop reclaim before pushing AIL during unmount The unmount sequence in xfs_unmount_flush_inodes() pushed the AIL while background reclaim and inodegc are still running. This is broken independently of any use-after-free issues - background reclaim and inodegc should not be running while the AIL is being pushed during unmount, as inodegc can dirty and insert inodes into the AIL during the flush, and background reclaim can race to abort and free dirty inodes. Reorder xfs_unmount_flush_inodes() to stop inodegc and cancel background reclaim before pushing the AIL. Stop inodegc before cancelling m_reclaim_work because the inodegc worker can re-queue m_reclaim_work via xfs_inodegc_set_reclaimable.
