  • Oct 2, 2026Armatura One stores database and message-broker credentials in an install configuration file, encrypting them with AES-128-CBC when this protection is enabled.CVE-2026-94591 · Computers, phones & browsers · Armatura LLC · reported by ics-cert@hq.dhs.govHigh 8.6

Armatura One stores database and message-broker credentials in an install configuration file, encrypting them with AES-128-CBC when this protection is enabled. The encryption key and initialization vector are fixed values embedded in the software itself and are identical across every installation. An attacker with a copy of the installation package can recover this key and initialization vector, and can then decrypt the stored credentials of any specific installation to which the attacker separately obtains the encrypted configuration file.

  • Sep 30, 2026Newsletter – Send awesome emails from: Insufficiently Protected CredentialsCVE-2026-92537 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The Newsletter – Send awesome emails from WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insufficiently Protected Credentials in all versions up to, and including, 9.3.9 The plugin's public click-tracking REST route `/tnp/l/` is registered with `permission_callback => '__return_true'` and, upon receiving a valid keyed-MD5 signature, calls `set_user_cookie()`, which emits a `Set-Cookie: newsletter=<id>-<raw_token>` response header to the requester because the subscriber object loaded via `get_user()` lacks the `_trusted` property, causing `get_user_key()` to return the raw token column value instead of its MD5-masked variant. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers who obtain any signed click-tracking URL for a target subscriber to receive that subscriber's permanent raw authentication cookie, which they can then use to export the subscriber's full PII record via the JSON profile-export endpoint (`?na=px`), rewrite the subscriber's stored profile (`?na=ps`), and silently unsubscribe the subscriber via the RFC-8058 one-click endpoint (`?na=ocu`), none of which require a nonce, password, or email challenge. • Sep 29, 2026Apache Airflow's Teradata provider embedded cloud storage credentials directly into SQL statements.CVE-2026-81862 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 6.5

Apache Airflow's Teradata provider embedded cloud storage credentials directly into SQL statements. `S3ToTeradataOperator` and `AzureBlobStorageToTeradataOperator` interpolate the source bucket's credentials as plain string literals into the `CREATE MULTISET TABLE ... LOCATION` statement whenever the bucket is private and no `teradata_authorization_name` is configured — which is the default credential path for both operators. The statement is then logged and executed, so the credentials reach two places outside the operator's control. The two operators expose different credentials through different channels, and deployments should check both. `S3ToTeradataOperator` takes its values from `s3_hook.get_credentials()`, which under an instance profile or IRSA returns runtime AWS credentials that were never registered with Airflow's secrets masker — and the STS session token is runtime-generated and therefore unmasked even when an AWS connection is configured. Those credentials appear **in the Airflow task log**, readable by any user with log-view permission on the Dag. `AzureBlobStorageToTeradataOperator` takes its storage account key from the connection, so the masker usually redacts

heym before 0.0.105 does not act on the result of the credential authorization lookup in the Redis workflow node (backend/app/services/node_execution/nodes/redis_node.py). When _get_accessible_credential returns None — because the credential ID does not exist or the caller is not authorized to use it — the node treats the lookup failure as an empty configuration and falls back to defaults, connecting to localhost:6379 with no password and executing the requested operation there. The same fallback occurs when an accessible credential has an empty config or no redis_host value. An authenticated workflow author who supplies a credential ID they do not own, or one that was deleted, therefore obtains a read/write connection to whatever Redis is listening on the backend's loopback interface instead of an error. Impact depends on the deployment: the stock docker-compose.yml ships no Redis, in which case the flaw surfaces as a misleading connection error rather than data exposure.

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') versions >= 2026.3.28 and < 2026.8.1 contain a credential exposure issue in memory embedding failover. When remote embedding fallback is configured and the primary embedding provider fails, the request can be sent to a different fallback provider while still reusing the primary provider's configured API key, causing that credential to be transmitted as a bearer token to an unintended vendor. The practical impact depends on the configured providers, whether failover occurs, and the privileges attached to the primary provider key. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1; as a workaround, disable cross-provider embedding fallback or configure each provider with separate, narrowly scoped credentials.

  • Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 could send third-party provider credentials to the wrong endpoint.CVE-2026-100528 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.9

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') before 2026.8.1 could send third-party provider credentials to the wrong endpoint. In affected versions, when a third-party provider uses an OpenAI-compatible API and the resolved model metadata lacks a concrete base URL, a pinned session that continues after a model configuration hot reload retains that provider's credential while the OpenAI SDK selects its own default endpoint. A resulting request could disclose the configured third-party provider credential to an unrelated provider endpoint and fail with a misleading authentication error. Operators who observed this condition should rotate the affected credential. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1.

  • Sep 24, 2026An information exposure vulnerability in the job scheduling component of SANnav allows sensitive credentials to be written to application logs in plain text.CVE-2026-14442 · Other software · Brocade · reported by sirt@brocade.comMedium 6.9

An information exposure vulnerability in the job scheduling component of SANnav allows sensitive credentials to be written to application logs in plain text. When scheduled support save jobs or related operational tasks are executed, sensitive parameters including external server passwords and archive protection keys are logged without proper masking. A local or authenticated user with access to application logs or support bundles can view these cleartext credentials, potentially leading to unauthorized access to remote backup targets or protected archives.

  • Sep 24, 2026The door access control on a Norwegian Cruise Line asset grants entry based only on the credential's static 7-byte UID stored on an NTAG212 NFC chip.CVE-2026-75907 · Other software · Norwegian Cruise Line · reported by cret@cert.orgHigh 7.5

The door access control on a Norwegian Cruise Line asset grants entry based only on the credential's static 7-byte UID stored on an NTAG212 NFC chip. A UID is a manufacturer serial number sent in the clear on every read and is not intended to be secret or to authenticate the holder. Validating on the UID of the NTAG212 NFC chip alone is identification, not authentication, and the credential has no challenge-response capability that would resist copying.

OpenEye Apex Network Video Recorder (NVR) firmware 3.2.9.376 contains a hardcoded, undocumented recovery account with a shared credential that cannot be changed, disabled, or rotated. An unauthenticated remote attacker can use the account to authenticate to the password-reset workflow. • Sep 22, 2026LTSecurity LTK3500SF contains a hard-coded credentials vulnerability where the root and guest account passwords are stored in /etc/shadow as weak hashes recoverCVE-2026-47116 · Other software · LTSecurity · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2

LTSecurity LTK3500SF contains a hard-coded credentials vulnerability where the root and guest account passwords are stored in /etc/shadow as weak hashes recoverable with dictionary-based cracking tools. The recovered credentials authenticate against the device's Telnet and SSH services and grant root-level access to the operating system. These services are not confirmed to start automatically at boot, so exploitation requires Telnet or SSH to be running, whether enabled by the device configuration or started manually.
