  • Sep 21, 2026Dasel is a command-line tool and library for querying, modifying, and transforming data structures.CVE-2026-59168 · Other software · TomWright · reported by GitHubMedium 6.2

Dasel is a command-line tool and library for querying, modifying, and transforming data structures. From 3.0.0 until 3.11.1, parsing/json/json_reader.go decodeValue, decodeObject, and decodeArray, and parsing/xml/reader.go parseElement, recurse once per input nesting level without a depth guard. Deeply nested attacker-controlled JSON or XML supplied through parsing.Format(...).NewReader(...).Read(data), the command-line interface, or the parse selector function can exhaust the Go goroutine stack and raise an unrecoverable fatal error that terminates the entire process. The XML input-size limit does not prevent depth exhaustion, and defer or recover cannot intercept the failure. This issue is fixed in version 3.11.1.

  • Sep 18, 2026Semantic MediaWiki is a free, open-source extension to MediaWiki that lets users store and query data within the wiki's pages.CVE-2026-77616 · Other software · SemanticMediaWiki · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1

Semantic MediaWiki is a free, open-source extension to MediaWiki that lets users store and query data within the wiki's pages. In versions 7.0.0 through 7.1.0, `Special:Ask` accepts a `cursor` query parameter for keyset pagination (added in 7.0.0). The token is decoded by `CursorEncoder`, which is an **unsigned** base64url-encoded JSON blob, so its contents are fully attacker-controlled. When the cursor's sort anchor does not match the request's `sort=` / `order=`, `QueryCreator::applyCursorIfRequested()` builds an error message by interpolating the attacker-controlled `sort_prop` / `sort_order` values into a raw string via `Query::addErrors()`. Unlike SMW's message-key errors, this raw string bypasses the message layer's sanitization (`ProcessingErrorMsgHandler::normalizeAndDecodeMessages()` passes a non-key, non-encoded string through unchanged). `ErrorWidget::queryError()` then assembles the errors and passes them to `Html::errorBox()`, whose first argument is emitted as raw HTML. The result is a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability: a crafted `cursor` token containing markup in `sort_prop` (or `sort_order`) executes script in the victim's browser on the wiki origin. • Sep 18, 2026Semantic MediaWiki is a free, open-source extension to MediaWiki that lets users store and query data within the wiki's pages.CVE-2026-77610 · Other software · SemanticMediaWiki · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1

Semantic MediaWiki is a free, open-source extension to MediaWiki that lets users store and query data within the wiki's pages. Prior to version 7.2.0, query debug output (`format=debug`, or the `debug` request parameter on `Special:Ask`) is assembled by `SMW\Query\DebugFormatter` and emitted as raw HTML. Several of its sinks apply no output-context encoding, so attacker-controlled query input is reflected into the page without escaping. On `Special:Ask` the resulting string is concatenated into the page and sent through `OutputPage::addHTML`, never through the MediaWiki parser or Sanitizer. No special user right is required; an anonymous request suffices. This is a reflected XSS: the payload is taken from the request and echoed in the same response. Exploitation requires the query condition to target a text/blob-typed property (whose value is re-serialized verbatim); the predefined `_txt` properties (`Text`, etc.) that ship on every install satisfy this, so no attacker-created content is needed. Version 7.2.0 patches the issue.

  • Sep 18, 2026Semantic MediaWiki is a free, open-source extension to MediaWiki that lets users store and query data within the wiki's pages.CVE-2026-77609 · Other software · SemanticMediaWiki · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1

Semantic MediaWiki is a free, open-source extension to MediaWiki that lets users store and query data within the wiki's pages. Prior to version 7.2.0, `Special:URIResolver` resolves its user-controlled subpage to a MediaWiki title and issues an HTTP 303 redirect to `$title->getFullURL()` without validating the resolved target. A crafted subpage can make that target point off-host: an interwiki prefix redirects to the foreign wiki (for example `Special:URIResolver/mw-3AFoo`, which decodes to `mw:Foo`, redirects to `https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Foo`), and where the resolved URL carries an authority the target can even embed `user:pass@host` credentials. The result is an open redirect to an attacker-influenced host, usable for phishing from a trusted wiki URL. Version 7.2.0 fixes the issue.

ArcadeDB (Maven artifact com.arcadedb:arcadedb-engine) through 26.8.1 contains an incomplete deny-list in the polyglot script sandbox: com.arcadedb.query.polyglot.HostClassLookupFilter.DENIED lists java.util.ResourceBundle as a bare class name, which is matched by exact equality and therefore does not cover its subclasses, while ScriptTriggerExecutor.ALLOWED_PACKAGES permits java.util.*. A user with the UPDATE_SCHEMA privilege (sufficient to create or alter a JavaScript trigger; no server-admin rights required) can reference java.util.PropertyResourceBundle or java.util.ListResourceBundle and invoke the inherited static ResourceBundle.getBundle(String) to read .properties resources from the application classpath, which the sandbox (IOAccess.NONE, with java.io.**, java.nio.** and java.net.** denied) is intended to make unreachable. This can disclose packaged application configuration such as database credentials and API keys; the advisory states the issue does not provide arbitrary host filesystem read or remote code execution. ArcadeDB before 26.9.1 contains an access control bypass vulnerability in the query_database tool exposed through the AI chat endpoints. The tool executes queries without binding the authenticated principal to DatabaseContext, causing per-type and per-bucket ACL checks to silently no-op and allowing authenticated users to read data they are explicitly denied at the per-type level. Anyquery is an SQL query engine built on top of SQLite. Prior to 0.4.5, authenticated users with INSERT or UPDATE access to affected macOS virtual tables can execute operating-system commands because the Chrome plugin and equivalent Brave, Edge, and Safari variants interpolate a SQL-controlled URL into AppleScript or JXA source passed to osascript. In plugins/chrome/tabs.go, tabsTable.Insert() passes the URL through fmt.Sprintf(newTabScript, url), and tabsTable.Update() uses fmt.Sprintf(setURLScript, pk, url). A URL containing quote and newline characters can break out of the intended string or property record and append script statements, resulting in arbitrary command execution with the privileges of the anyquery process on the macOS host. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/core: Fix use after free in ib_query_qp() When querying a QP via the netlink flow the only synchronization mechanism for the said QP is rdma_restrack_get(), meanwhile during the QP destroy path rdma_restrack_del() is called at the end of the ib_destroy_qp_user() function which is too late, since by then the vendor specific resources for said QP would already be destroyed, and till the rdma_restrack_del() is called this QP can still be accessed, which could cause the use after free below. Fix this by moving the rdma_restrack_begin_del() to the start of the ib_destroy_qp_user(), which in turn waits for all usages of the QP to be done then removes it from the database to prevent access to it while it is being destroyed. pgAdmin 4's File Manager save_file endpoint, which backs saving from the Query Tool and ERD, validated the requested path with Filemanager.check_access_permission() and then opened the file for writing with a plain open() call. CVE-2026-7819 had previously hardened the separate file upload path by opening its target with O_NOFOLLOW, so that the kernel refuses to follow a symbolic link at the final path component, but save_file was left on an unprotected open(). A symbolic link already present when the check ran was rejected by the check itself; the remaining exposure was a link substituted at the final path component in the interval between the check and the write, at which point the write followed the link and landed outside the user's storage directory, creating or overwriting an arbitrary file as the operating-system account running pgAdmin. Exploitation requires the ability to create or replace a symbolic link inside the requesting user's storage directory. pgAdmin exposes no interface that creates symbolic links, so this requires filesystem access to the pgAdmin host or to a shared or network-mounted storage backend, together with winning the timing window. Use of HTTP Request With Sensitive Query String vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthenticationPhoenix allows someone able to read access logs, proxy logs or browser history to recover a single-use sign-in token and authenticate as its owner. After a successful password sign-in, AshAuthentication.Phoenix.Components.Password.SignInForm builds the sign_in_with_token path with the freshly issued user.__metadata__.token as a query parameter and redirects the browser to it with a GET. The token therefore travels in the request line, where web servers, reverse proxies, request telemetry and the browser's own history record it, all of which outlive the request and are ordinarily less protected than session storage. The redirect destination is restricted to a local path, so this is not an open redirect; the exposure is the retention of a live credential. This issue affects ash_authentication_phoenix: from 1.7.0 before 2.17.4 and from 3.0.0-rc.0 before 3.0.0-rc.11; ash_authentication: from 3.10.5 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.0 before 5.0.0-rc.14.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme: skip the zoned limits update if the zone info query failed nvme_query_zone_info() returns either a negative errno or a positive NVMe status code, but nvme_update_ns_info_block() only tests for the negative case: ret = nvme_query_zone_info(ns, lbaf, &zi); if (ret < 0) goto out; If the device fails the Identify Namespace (I/O Command Set specific) command, or the Identify Controller command issued by nvme_set_max_append(), the positive status falls through and setup continues with the zero-initialized zone info. nvme_update_zone_info() then marks the queue zoned with chunk_sectors and ns->head->zsze set to zero. blk_validate_zoned_limits() does not check chunk_sectors, so the limits commit succeeds. blk_revalidate_disk_zones() does reject the zero zone size, but by then the limits are live and nothing rolls them back, so I/O keeps being submitted to a zoned queue with a zero zone size and disk_zone_no() shifts by ilog2(0): nvme0n1: Invalid non power of two zone size (0) UBSAN: shift-out-of-bounds in include/linux/blkdev.h:747:16 shift exponent -1 is negative disk_zone_no include/linux/blkde

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla2xxx: Don't query firmware state while chip is down qla2x00_fw_state_show() initializes rval to QLA_FUNCTION_FAILED and jumps to the out: label when the chip is down or EEH is busy. The out: block then re-issued qla2x00_get_firmware_state() because rval != QLA_SUCCESS, defeating the chip-down/EEH-busy guards and issuing a mailbox command (outside optrom_mutex) during ISP reset or PCI error recovery, which can hang the adapter. It also turned a normal in-lock mailbox failure into a second unsynchronized mailbox attempt. Make the out: fallback only mark the firmware state as unknown. The mailbox is now issued at most once, inside optrom_mutex, and only when the chip is up and not EEH-busy.

  • Sep 14, 2026Anyquery is an SQL query engine built on top of SQLite.CVE-2026-54629 · Other software · julien040 · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

Anyquery is an SQL query engine built on top of SQLite. Prior to 0.4.5, anyquery server exposes file-backed SQLite virtual table modules such as csv_reader and log_reader through its MySQL-compatible server port without authentication, authorization, or directory restrictions. A remote attacker can use SQLite CREATE VIRTUAL TABLE statements to provide a local path to these modules, which use hashicorp/go-getter under the Anyquery server process and return the selected file contents as queryable table rows. The disclosure is limited only by the filesystem permissions of the server process and can expose system configuration, credentials, and private keys. This issue is fixed in version 0.4.5.

Anyquery is an SQL query engine built on top of SQLite. Prior to 0.4.5, anyquery server exposes URL-capable SQLite virtual table modules such as json_reader and log_reader through its unauthenticated MySQL-compatible server port without restricting outbound destinations. A remote attacker can provide a loopback, private-network, or link-local cloud metadata URL, causing go-getter in the Anyquery server process to fetch the selected resource and expose its response as queryable table data. This permits internal network probing, access to internal APIs, and disclosure of cloud credentials; low-integrity impact is possible when a reached internal API performs state-changing actions. This issue is fixed in version 0.4.5.

Anyquery is an SQL query engine built on top of SQLite. Prior to 0.4.5, anyquery server forwards unauthenticated SQL from its MySQL-compatible server port to SQLite without restricting ATTACH DATABASE filesystem targets. A remote attacker can select any path writable by the Anyquery server process, cause SQLite to create a database file there, and place attacker-controlled table content in that file. This permits arbitrary file creation or overwrite, causing filesystem integrity loss and denial of service; remote code execution is possible only when another service interprets the written file or the process has a suitably privileged writable target. This issue is fixed in version 0.4.5.
