  • Aug 28, 2026GiveWP – Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-5510 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The GiveWP – Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'give_form' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 4.14.4. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the continue_button_title and display_style shortcode attributes, which are passed through sanitize_text_field() but not properly escaped when output in HTML data attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

The AutomatorWP – Automator plugin for no-code automations, webhooks & custom integrations in WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 5.8.4. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. • Aug 19, 2026Grav Shortcode Core Plugin allows for the development shortcode plugins that utilize the common format utilized by WordPress and BBCode.CVE-2026-64851 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

Grav Shortcode Core Plugin allows for the development shortcode plugins that utilize the common format utilized by WordPress and BBCode. Prior to 6.2.2, Grav Shortcode Core passes shortcode syntax through Security::detectXss() because it contains no literal less-than character, then ColorShortcode.php and related attribute handlers concatenate an attacker-controlled parameter into HTML without encoding. • Aug 19, 2026Atarim – AI Agency for WordPress: Edit Pages, Fix Code, Update Plugins, SEO & Client Feedback: Arbitrary file deletionCVE-2026-19942 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1

The Atarim – AI Agency for WordPress: Edit Pages, Fix Code, Update Plugins, SEO & Client Feedback plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the AVCF_Abilities_Media::register (replace-media-file execute_callback) function in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.1. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). This is exploitable by first using the atarim/update-post-field ability to overwrite the _wp_attached_file meta of an attacker-owned attachment with a directory-traversal path, then invoking atarim/replace-media-file to cause get_attached_file() to resolve and unlink the targeted file.

  • Aug 16, 2026WP Travel Engine – Tour Booking Plugin – Tour Operator Software: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-17087 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The WP Travel Engine – Tour Booking Plugin – Tour Operator Software plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 6.8.4. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to view private booking billing details — including the victim customer's first name, last name, email address, street address, city, and phone number — rendered as default values in checkout form fields by binding an arbitrary booking ID to the attacker's session. The only access control on the endpoint is a frontend nonce that is publicly emitted to all visitors via the wteL10n global on trip pages, meaning it provides CSRF protection only and does not restrict unauthenticated access.

  • Aug 16, 2026WCPOS – Point of Sale (POS) plugin for WooCommerce: Code InjectionCVE-2026-17581 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The WCPOS – Point of Sale (POS) plugin for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Code Injection via the 'thermal' Template Engine in all versions up to, and including, 1.9.14 due to the Receipt_Renderer_Factory dispatching templates with the 'thermal' engine to the Legacy_Php_Renderer instead of a safe thermal-specific renderer. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Shop Manager-level access and above, to inject arbitrary PHP code into a template post that is subsequently written to a temporary file and executed via PHP's include(), resulting in remote code execution on the server. This requires the attacker to have Shop Manager-level access or above, as the template save path enforces a wcpos_template_settings nonce and the manage_woocommerce_pos capability check.

  • Aug 16, 2026The The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerableCVE-2026-18385 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.4

The The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.19. This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes. The partial mitigation introduced via strip_shortcodes() on [profile-first-name] and [profile-last-name] can be bypassed through the [profile-display-name format="first_last_names"] render path, the [profile-bio] render path (which re-fetches the raw description meta), and the double-bracket escape sequence [[tag]], all of which allow attacker-controlled shortcode text to reach the outer do_shortcode() call.

Affects up to 4.16.19. Update the plugin to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.
  • Aug 16, 2026NEX-Forms – Ultimate Forms Plugin for: Generic SQL InjectionCVE-2026-15602 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.9

The NEX-Forms – Ultimate Forms Plugin for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'additional_params' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 9.2.4 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with admin-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. This is a second-order vulnerability; the payload is stored via the submission_report2 AJAX handler (which lacks a nonce check and relies solely on a capability that can be configured down to subscriber-level) and triggered when a CSV export is generated.

  • Aug 12, 2026Draft List is a WordPress plugin to manage and promote unpublished content.CVE-2026-49466 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

Draft List is a WordPress plugin to manage and promote unpublished content. Versions 2.6.3 and below are vulnerable to stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in the `[drafts]` shortcode and Draft List widget when the documented custom `template` option places the `{{draft}}` placeholder inside an HTML attribute. The vulnerable code inserts the raw draft `post_title` into `{{draft}}` when the current viewer cannot edit posts. Because the template is sanitized before `{{draft}}` replacement, a Contributor can store a quote-only title payload that breaks out of an attribute in a site-configured Draft List template and executes JavaScript for visitors who load the public page. Version 2.6.4 fixes the issue.

    What to do
Update the plugin to the newest version.

The GeoDirectory – WP Business Directory Plugin and Classified Listings Directory plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the delete_revision function in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.169. By placing post_type=attachment exclusively in the query string to bypass the consistency check, an attacker can convert an auto-draft GeoDirectory listing into a WordPress attachment with attacker-controlled file paths injected into attachment metadata, which the delete_revision handler then dereferences and unlinks without any post-type or path validation.

Attackers can manipulate the unsanitized file path concatenated with ABSPATH to traverse outside the WordPress installation directory and invoke unlink() on sensitive files such as wp-config.php and .htaccess, causing site outage or enabling malicious reinstallation.

  • Aug 7, 2026The Code Embed WordPress plugin prior to version 2.6.1 is vulnerable to stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) through the external URL embed feature in post contentCVE-2026-48093 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5

The Code Embed WordPress plugin prior to version 2.6.1 is vulnerable to stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) through the external URL embed feature in post content. The vulnerable code scans rendered content for URL embed tokens, fetches the remote URL, and inserts the remote response body into the page without output sanitization or an `unfiltered_html` capability check. This allows a Contributor attacker to submit a pending post containing an inert-looking URL token that executes attacker-controlled JavaScript when an Administrator or Editor previews or reviews the post. This is distinct from CVE-2026-2512, which affected custom field meta values up to version 2.5.1. This vector affects version 2.6 and uses the documented external URL embed feature in post content. This particular issue is patched in version 2.6.1.

    What to do
Update the plugin to the newest version.
  • Aug 7, 2026The ShareOpenly WordPress plugin prior to version 1.2.1 contains a Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability caused by the absence of WordPress's `esc_url()` escaping CVE-2026-48094 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

The ShareOpenly WordPress plugin prior to version 1.2.1 contains a Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability caused by the absence of WordPress's `esc_url()` escaping function on the `$url` variable before it is rendered into HTML content. This variable is constructed from `home_url( add_query_arg( array(), $wp->request ) )` and is concatenated directly into an HTML `href` attribute on every singular post or page where the plugin's sharing link is displayed. WordPress's security handbook mandates that every URL placed in HTML output must be passed through `esc_url()`, which both HTML-encodes special characters (converting `"`, `<`, `>` into their safe HTML entity equivalents) and strips dangerous URI schemes such as `javascript:` and `data:`. The omission of this function means that if the `$url` value ever contains HTML-special characters or a dangerous URI scheme — through a `home_url` WordPress filter applied by another plugin or theme, through certain web server or hosting configurations, or through future code changes — the unescaped content will be injected verbatim into the rendered HTML of every post or page on the site. Version 1.2.1 contains a patch for the issue.

Update the plugin to the newest version.
