Oct 13, 2026TanStack Router is a client-first, server-capable, fully type-safe router and full-stack framework for the web.CVE-2026-102989 · Other software · TanStack · reported by GitHubCritical 9.3
TanStack Router is a client-first, server-capable, fully type-safe router and full-stack framework for the web. From 1.143.12 until 1.169.39 for @tanstack/start-server-core, 1.168.60 for @tanstack/react-start, 1.168.57 for @tanstack/solid-start, and 1.168.56 for @tanstack/vue-start, an unauthenticated attacker can place non-public fields in a server-function request payload so that attacker-controlled middleware state reaches the error path and a response-shaped object is accepted as an HTTP response. A crafted server-function URL can therefore return attacker-controlled HTML from the application's origin; when a visitor opens the URL, the injected script can access same-origin data and issue requests with the visitor's authority. This issue is fixed in @tanstack/start-server-core 1.169.39, @tanstack/react-start 1.168.60, @tanstack/solid-start 1.168.57, and @tanstack/vue-start 1.168.56.

Oct 13, 2026ESF-IDF is the Espressif Internet of Things (IOT) Development Framework.CVE-2026-81507 · Other software · espressif · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
ESF-IDF is the Espressif Internet of Things (IOT) Development Framework. Prior to 5.2.8, 5.3.6, 5.5.5, 6.0.3, and 6.1-rc1, ESP-IDF BlueDroid L2CAP configuration-option processing in l2c_main.c and l2c_utils.c does not consistently validate option lengths against the remaining received packet bytes. A remote unauthenticated BR/EDR peer within radio range can send a malformed L2CAP configuration request that causes an out-of-bounds read, and under some runtime conditions limited adjacent Bluetooth stack memory can be included in an outbound L2CAP Configuration Response. The issue affects ESP32-class products using the BlueDroid host stack with Classic Bluetooth enabled. This issue is fixed in 5.2.8, 5.3.6, 5.5.5, 6.0.3, and 6.1-rc1.

Oct 13, 2026Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.CVE-2026-102672 · Other software · electron · reported by GitHubMedium 6.7
Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 39.8.10, 41.10.5, and 42.0.0-beta.2, Electron applications on macOS that use Squirrel.Mac-based automatic updates are vulnerable to a local race in the privileged ShipIt helper. The helper did not bind the validated update target to one canonical application-bundle path for the full installation, allowing a local attacker to redirect the root-level write so that it overwrites another application's files instead of the application that initiated the update. Applications on other platforms and macOS applications that do not use Squirrel.Mac-based automatic updates are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 39.8.10, 41.10.5, and 42.0.0-beta.2.

Oct 13, 2026Quasar Framework is a framework for building high-performance Vue.js user interfaces.CVE-2026-106108 · Other software · quasarframework · reported by GitHubMedium 5.7
Quasar Framework is a framework for building high-performance Vue.js user interfaces. From 3.1.0 until 3.3.0, @quasar/app-vite SSG page definitions returned by getSsgPages() could supply dir and filename values that were joined to build.distDir without verifying the final destination. Parent traversal or an existing symlink below the distribution directory could create new HTML files or directories outside the output tree with the build user's permissions. Application configuration and SSG page definitions are trusted by default, so exploitation requires a build process that derives them from external or otherwise less-trusted content; existing files remain protected by the renderer's no-overwrite behavior. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.0.

Oct 13, 2026fastify is a fast and low overhead web framework for Node.js.CVE-2026-107832 · Other software · fastify · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbLow 3.7
fastify is a fast and low overhead web framework for Node.js. In versions 5.12.2 through 5.12.5, the routine that lowercases header names declared in a route schema does not lowercase the enum or const header names nested inside a propertyNames subschema. As a result, a header allow-list or deny-list written with canonical (non-lowercase) casing never matches the incoming lowercased header, so a restricted header passes validation and reaches the route handler. An attacker can therefore bypass a case-sensitive header validation rule and smuggle a forbidden header past the schema, affecting the integrity of request handling. The issue is fixed in fastify 5.12.6, and users should upgrade to 5.12.6 or later. There is no workaround other than upgrading, though applications can declare header names in lowercase to avoid the mismatch.

Oct 12, 2026The Metasploit Framework Web Service REST API (msf-ws) exposes the credential store through Msf::WebServices::CredentialServlet.CVE-2026-87689 · Other software · Rapid7 · reported by cve@rapid7.comCritical 9.8
The Metasploit Framework Web Service REST API (msf-ws) exposes the credential store through Msf::WebServices::CredentialServlet. Every mutating and read route in this servlet calls warden.authenticate! before processing a request, except the update_credential (PUT) and delete_credentials (DELETE) handlers for /api/v1/credentials, which omit the authentication call entirely. Because these handlers call directly into lib/msf/core/db_manager/cred.rb, which performs no authorization check of its own, any client able to reach the web service on its default 0.0.0.0:8080 listener can read, modify, or permanently delete every stored credential record — including passwords, hashes, and private keys stored for a shared team engagement — without presenting any authentication. All published versions of Metasploit Framework through 6.5.4 are affected. The issue is fixed in 6.5.5 by adding warden.authenticate! as the first statement in both handlers, matching the pattern used by every other route in the API.

Oct 12, 2026The Metasploit Framework post module post/apple_ios/gather/ios_image_gather is affected by a relative path traversal vulnerability (CWE-22).CVE-2026-87690 · Other software · Rapid7 · reported by cve@rapid7.comHigh 8.8
The Metasploit Framework post module post/apple_ios/gather/ios_image_gather is affected by a relative path traversal vulnerability (CWE-22). The module interpolates file names taken from a Meterpreter directory listing — data fully controlled by a hostile or tampered iOS device — directly into the local destination path passed to client.fs.file.download_file(), with no sanitization. The underlying stdapi sink (lib/rex/post/meterpreter/extensions/stdapi/fs/file.rb) writes to whatever path is supplied, so a listing entry such as ../../msfconsole.rc escapes the intended ~/.msf4/loot/<random> directory and overwrites ~/.msf4/msfconsole.rc, a resource file that every msfconsole invocation automatically executes at startup (lib/msf/ui/console/driver.rb:196). An attacker-controlled device that lures an operator into running this gather module achieves an arbitrary file write as the operator; because the written msfconsole.rc can load a second written file (a Ruby plugin whose top-level code runs on require), this converts into persistent code execution and an interactive shell as the operator (frequently root) on the pentester's workstation at the next console launch. The same traversal w

Oct 9, 2026Shiny for Python is a framework for building interactive web applications in Python.CVE-2026-108258 · Other software · posit-dev · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
Shiny for Python is a framework for building interactive web applications in Python. From 1.4.0 until 1.6.4, bookmark restore accepts a client-supplied state_id and joins it into the server-side shiny_bookmarks directory without validating that it is a single safe path segment. An unauthenticated request can use parent-directory segments or an absolute path to make the server open input.json and values.json outside the bookmark store, even when bookmark_store is set to disable. In applications configured with bookmark_store set to server and using ui.input_file(), the restore handler can additionally copy and expose an attacker-selected file from an attacker-selected directory. The Redux Framework plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.11. This is due to the plugin saving arbitrary meta keys under a registered option name without sufficient capability checks or key allowlist / restrictions. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to set an arbitrary role (e.g., Administrator) when performing a profile update if a plugin or theme using this framework has added at least one user profile field that leverages Redux_Users::set_profile/set_section/set_field.

Oct 8, 2026AdonisJS HTTP Server is a package for handling HTTP requests in the AdonisJS framework.CVE-2026-107718 · Other software · adonisjs · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1
AdonisJS HTTP Server is a package for handling HTTP requests in the AdonisJS framework. Prior to 8.2.3 and 9.3.0, AdonisJS HTTP Server inserts route parameter values into URLs without encodeURIComponent in the shared createURL() helper used by Router.makeUrl() and Response.redirect().toRoute(). If an application places attacker-controlled data in a dynamic first path segment and uses the generated route URL as a redirect destination, a value beginning with a slash can produce a scheme-relative external URL. Wildcard parameters are affected by the same missing encoding, while APIs intentionally accepting complete redirect URLs are not affected. An attacker can redirect users from a trusted application to an attacker-controlled site, facilitating phishing or abuse of authentication and OAuth flows. This issue is fixed in versions 8.2.3 and 9.3.0.

Binding to localhost, Origin checks, and CSRF tokens do not prevent the same-origin DNS rebinding path. This issue is fixed in versions 1.107.5 and 2.30.0.

Oct 8, 2026Pydantic AI is a Python agent framework for building applications and workflows with Generative AI.CVE-2026-107291 · Other software · pydantic · reported by GitHubLow 2.3
Pydantic AI is a Python agent framework for building applications and workflows with Generative AI. From 0.3.4 until 1.107.6 and 2.44.0, OpenTelemetry instrumentation configured with InstrumentationSettings(include_content=False) can still export sensitive agent content through exception.message and exception.stacktrace events, error status descriptions, and model_request_parameters containing instructions or the prompted_output_template. The exposed data is available to readers of the configured telemetry backend and can include tool feedback, provider error bodies, runtime instructions, and structured-output templates even though message attributes are redacted. This issue does not grant new access to agent data, and deployments that do not use include_content=False are not affected by the setting bypass. This issue is fixed in versions 1.107.6 and 2.44.0.

Oct 8, 2026Pydantic AI is a Python agent framework for building applications and workflows with Generative AI.CVE-2026-107290 · Other software · pydantic · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Pydantic AI is a Python agent framework for building applications and workflows with Generative AI. From 1.77.0 until 1.107.6 and 2.44.0, the local web_fetch_tool and the WebFetch local fallback process server-controlled responses with quadratic title extraction, whitespace normalization, and ordered-list numbering. An attacker-controlled page of modest size can therefore block the event loop for an extended period, stalling other agent runs and requests, while unsupported codecs or excessive HTML or JSON nesting can abort an individual run. This issue is fixed in versions 1.107.6 and 2.44.0.

Oct 8, 2026Pydantic AI is a Python agent framework for building applications and workflows with Generative AI.CVE-2026-107289 · Other software · pydantic · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8
Pydantic AI is a Python agent framework for building applications and workflows with Generative AI. From 1.56.0 until 1.107.6 and 2.44.0, applications that opt attacker-influenced URLs into local network access through FileUrl with force_download='allow-local' or web_fetch_tool with allow_local_urls=True can bypass the cloud-metadata blocklist by appending an IPv6 zone identifier to an IPv6 metadata address. IPv6Address equality and hashing include the zone identifier, so the blocklist comparison fails even though the network stack ignores the zone on a non-link-local destination and reaches the metadata service, potentially exposing cloud IAM credentials. The opt-in settings are disabled by default, and the issue requires an IPv6-enabled environment. This issue is fixed in versions 1.107.6 and 2.44.0.

Oct 8, 2026Pydantic AI is a Python agent framework for building applications and workflows with Generative AI.CVE-2026-107288 · Other software · pydantic · reported by GitHubLow 3.7
Pydantic AI is a Python agent framework for building applications and workflows with Generative AI. From 1.77.0 until 1.107.6 and 2.44.0, the local web_fetch_tool and the WebFetch local fallback compare blocked_domains entries with a URL hostname before both values are normalized to the form used by getaddrinfo. An attacker-influenced model can use an equivalent IDNA spelling, non-ASCII label separator, case variation, or trailing root label that resolves to a blocked host but does not match the configured string, causing the application to fetch that host with its own privileges. allowed_domains fails closed for unmatched spellings, and private-IP and cloud-metadata protections remain effective. This issue is fixed in versions 1.107.6 and 2.44.0.

Oct 8, 2026Pydantic AI is a Python agent framework for building applications and workflows with Generative AI.CVE-2026-107287 · Other software · pydantic · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
Pydantic AI is a Python agent framework for building applications and workflows with Generative AI. From 1.77.0 until 1.107.7 and 2.52.0, the local web_fetch_tool and the WebFetch local fallback can consume excessive CPU and memory during HTML-to-Markdown conversion of attacker-controlled HTML containing deeply nested block elements. Conversion repeatedly reprocesses accumulated text and can greatly expand intermediate output before the returned-content limit is applied, allowing a model-directed fetch to delay other work in the process. Provider-native web fetching is not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 1.107.7 and 2.52.0.

Oct 8, 2026Pydantic AI is a Python agent framework for building applications and workflows with Generative AI.CVE-2026-107286 · Other software · pydantic · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
Pydantic AI is a Python agent framework for building applications and workflows with Generative AI. From 2.10.0 until 2.53.0, streamed requests made through ConcurrencyLimitedModel or limit_model_concurrency can retain shared concurrency slots because anyio.CapacityLimiter associates an acquired slot with the borrowing task while streaming cleanup can run in a different task. Early stream termination, cancellation, consumer exceptions, or complete stream_text() consumption with debounce_by=0.1 can therefore leave capacity occupied, eventually preventing later requests that share the long-lived limiter from proceeding and causing a denial of service. Agent-level max_concurrency and non-streaming model requests are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 2.53.0.

Oct 8, 2026@fastify/jwt is a JSON Web Token plugin for the Fastify web framework.CVE-2026-107275 · Other software · @fastify/jwt · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbMedium 6.8
@fastify/jwt is a JSON Web Token plugin for the Fastify web framework. In versions before 10.2.3, a time span passed to expiresIn, notBefore, or maxAge that the plugin's parser cannot read, such as a compound span, a month unit, an ISO 8601 duration, a decimal comma, or a value with surrounding whitespace, is silently dropped instead of refused. On the signing path this produces a token with no expiration claim that never expires, and on the verification path a configured maxAge stops being enforced, so a token that should be rejected for age is accepted. The issue is fixed in @fastify/jwt 10.2.3, and users should upgrade to 10.2.3 or later. As a workaround, pass these options as a number of seconds, or verify that any time-span string parses to a finite value before relying on it.

Oct 7, 2026Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals.CVE-2026-106557 · Other software · backstage · reported by GitHubHigh 7.7
Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.14.6 and 1.15.4, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package did not sufficiently validate TechDocs Markdown extension configuration. An authenticated user who can register or modify documentation sources may cause a TechDocs build to access resources outside the intended documentation boundary, potentially exposing backend-host data or internal network resources. This issue is fixed in versions 1.14.6 and 1.15.4 when pymdown-extensions 10.21.3 or later is also used, normally through mkdocs-techdocs-core 1.7.0 or later.

Oct 7, 2026Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals.CVE-2026-106561 · Other software · backstage · reported by GitHubMedium 5
Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 0.21.9, the @backstage/plugin-kubernetes-backend package is affected by sensitive information disclosure in kubernetes resource queries. An authenticated user holding the standard Kubernetes resource read permission could retrieve sensitive values that the Kubernetes plugin is designed to mask, potentially exposing credentials and other confidential material held in the connected clusters. Exposure is limited to resources that the Backstage service account is permitted to read and that match the targeted catalog entity's namespace and label selector. Deployments whose cluster credentials do not grant read access to these resources are unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 0.21.9.

Oct 7, 2026Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals.CVE-2026-106558 · Other software · backstage · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.14.8, 1.15.6, and 2.0.1, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package improperly validated mapping-style markdown_extensions configuration. An authenticated attacker who can register or influence an SCM-backed documentation source may bypass TechDocs sanitization and cause Python objects to be imported and instantiated in the generator runtime, leading to arbitrary code execution. Earlier fixes in versions 1.14.6 and 1.15.4 did not fully address the supported mapping representation of markdown_extensions. Impact is greatest when documentation generation runs with backend credentials, filesystem access, or internal network access. This issue is fixed in versions 1.14.8, 1.15.6, and 2.0.1.
