Sep 15, 2026Concrete CMS 9.0.0 to 9.5.2 stored group folder names without sanitization and printed them unescaped on the Members > Groups dashboard page, resulting in storeCVE-2026-81899 · Other software · Concrete CMS · reported by ff5b8ace-8b95-4078-9743-eac1ca5451deHigh 7.3
Concrete CMS 9.0.0 to 9.5.2 stored group folder names without sanitization and printed them unescaped on the Members > Groups dashboard page, resulting in stored cross-site scripting. The add and edit group-folder handlers stored the submitted folder name without neutralizing HTML, and the group search grid returned it without output encoding, so the Groups dashboard rendered the name as live markup. An authenticated user holding the Add Group Folder permission could store a script payload as a folder name that executed in the session of any administrator who viewed the Groups dashboard, enabling session and token theft and any action available in the administrator's context. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 7.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:P/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. The MemberPress Corporate Accounts plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in versions up to, and including, 1.5.39. This is due to a mass assignment vulnerability in the 'add_sub_account_user' function that passes the raw 'userdata' array to 'wp_insert_user' without filtering dangerous keys like role or ID. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above who hold a corporate account, to create new administrator accounts or hijack existing administrator accounts by overwriting their email addresses. MISP's UiBeta theme collection view (app/View/Themed/UiBeta/Collections/view.ctp) performed a secondary query of member events by UUID without applying the caller's access control list (ACL). The CollectionsController::view() action correctly resolved collection element UUIDs through Event::fetchSimpleEvents($user, ...), which enforces per-user event ACL. However, the view template independently re-queried the same UUIDs using only an Event.uuid IN (...) condition, omitting the createEventConditions() authorization filter. Because collection element UUIDs are stored without server-side authorization against the referenced event (CollectionElementsController::add() accepts whatever UUID the collection owner posts), an authenticated user with view access to a collection could retrieve full details of events they are not permitted to read. The exposed data included event identifiers, info, dates, timestamps, creator organization, all event tags, and galaxy clusters (the latter attached via a cluster-scoped rather than event-scoped ACL check). This constitutes an authorization bypass at the presentation layer, allowing horizontal privilege escalation across event boundaries within the

Sep 1, 2026Simple Membership: Authentication Bypass leading to Administrator Account TakeoverCVE-2026-77194 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3
The Simple Membership plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass leading to Administrator Account Takeover in versions up to, and including, 4.8.0. This is due to improper identity verification during the public registration flow in WordPress Multisite environments, where the plugin binds new Simple Membership records to existing global WordPress users based solely on matching username and email, without requiring password verification or ownership proof, and fails to properly detect Administrator roles on child sites. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to take over Administrator accounts on child sites in a Multisite network by registering a Simple Membership account with a victim's credentials on a site where public registration is enabled, then updating the victim's global WordPress password through the profile edit functionality. The vulnerability was partially patched in version 4.8.1.

Aug 29, 2026### Summary `qs.stringify` throws a `TypeError` when it serializes an object whose own `constructor` property has a truthy, non-callable `isBuffer` member.CVE-2026-82417 · Other software · ljharb · reported by 7ffcee3d-2c14-4c3e-b844-86c6a321a158Medium 6.3
### Summary `qs.stringify` throws a `TypeError` when it serializes an object whose own `constructor` property has a truthy, non-callable `isBuffer` member. `utils.isBuffer` duck-types buffers by calling `obj.constructor.isBuffer(obj)` after checking only that the property is truthy, so a value such as `{ constructor: { isBuffer: "x" } }` makes the call throw `TypeError: obj.constructor.isBuffer is not a function`. ### Details `lib/stringify.js:127` calls `utils.isBuffer` on every non-primitive value it serializes. `utils.isBuffer` (`lib/utils.js:332`) reads `obj.constructor.isBuffer` and invokes it without verifying that it is a function. `constructor` and `isBuffer` are ordinary property names, so any object carrying them as own properties reaches the unchecked call. Such an object can be built from untrusted input. `qs.parse("x[constructor][isBuffer]=y", { plainObjects: true })` or `{ allowPrototypes: true }` keeps the `constructor` key as an own property (the default parse options drop it), and `JSON.parse("{\"a\":{\"constructor\":{\"isBuffer\":\"x\"}}}")` produces the same shape with no qs option involved. Aug 29, 2026MemberHero: Does not restrictCVE-2026-10522 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanCritical 9.8
The MemberHero WordPress plugin through 6.9 does not restrict which account fields can be supplied during its frontend registration process, allowing unauthenticated attackers to register a new user with an arbitrary role, including Administrator, leading to a full site takeover. Version 6.9 is advertised as resolving this issue, but the fix is incomplete and the current version remains exploitable by unauthenticated attackers to obtain administrator access and to take over existing accounts. No version that fully addresses the issue is available at the time of this advisory. Mitigation: deactivate and remove the MemberHero WordPress plugin through 6.9 until a version that fully resolves this issue is released. If the MemberHero WordPress plugin through 6.9 must stay active, disable public registration, restrict access to the registration functionality, and monitor the site for unexpected administrator accounts.

The Ultimate Member WordPress plugin before 2.13.0 does not validate a submitted role selection when it cannot resolve the set of roles a profile form permits, and screens the value against the site's registered role names rather than against the form's own allow-list, allowing unauthenticated users who register through the Ultimate Member WordPress plugin before 2.13.0's own form to grant themselves arbitrary capabilities and reach administrator-equivalent access.

Aug 26, 2026Midday allows any member of a team to delete it.CVE-2026-81035 · Other software · midday-ai · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.2
Midday allows any member of a team to delete it. The delete procedure in apps/api/src/trpc/routers/team.ts authorises the caller with the team-access helper, which returns true for every row in the team-membership table irrespective of the role it records, and the data-layer function it calls re-checks the same helper and nothing else. The neighbouring procedures that remove or update a member in the same router each resolve the caller's role and refuse the request unless it is owner, so the check exists in the file and is not applied to deletion. Member is the role an invited user receives, so any invitee can remove the team and every record scoped to it, and the deletion enqueues the cleanup job with the stored bank-connection tokens, which the job then uses against the connected providers. The update procedure in the same router carries no role check either.

Aug 26, 2026Kimai before 2.56.0 does not enforce team-membership checks in TimesheetVoter::voteOnAttribute(), which maps permissions only to own_timesheet or other_timesheeCVE-2026-80202 · Other software · kimai · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3
Kimai before 2.56.0 does not enforce team-membership checks in TimesheetVoter::voteOnAttribute(), which maps permissions only to own_timesheet or other_timesheet. As a result, any authenticated user with ROLE_TEAMLEAD (or a role holding edit_other_timesheet/delete_other_timesheet) can read, modify, and permanently delete timesheets belonging to any user system-wide via the API, regardless of team membership. Timesheet IDs are sequential integers and trivially enumerable. ROLE_USER accounts are correctly restricted. (Note: the maintainers characterize this behavior as matching the documented permission model.)
