In the affected implementation, an arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the `Upload API` arises because the API does not validate the `uploaded file path or type`. An attacker can overwrite sensitive configuration files or place malicious files on the Docat web server. Depending on deployment context, uploaded content can enable remote code execution or cross-site scripting intended to steal cookies or redirect users to malicious websites. Version 1.6.0 mitigates filename-based path traversal; remediation of unrestricted file types or deployment-dependent malicious-content effects is not established by the verified patch.

PHPUnit is a testing framework for PHP. From 13.4.0 until 13.4.4, the TestCase::coverageFilesDirectory() logic in src/Runner/Phpt/TestCase.php creates temporary files for PHPT code coverage in a predictable phpunit-phpt directory under sys_get_temp_dir() and reuses that directory without verifying its ownership or permissions. On multi-user systems with a shared temporary path, a local attacker who creates the directory before the developer runs PHPT tests with code coverage can replace the generated job file before the child process executes it with require, allowing arbitrary code execution with the developer's privileges while the test and coverage report appear successful. PHPUnit 12.5 and earlier, default macOS and Windows configurations with per-user temporary directories, and single-user environments where another user cannot create files in the temporary path are not affected. This issue is fixed in 13.4.4.

Prior to 11.0.1, src/index.ts implements firstPhasePreProcess() so that, at optimizationLevel 2 or higher, it repeatedly expands attacker-controlled **/.. pattern segments inside a fixpoint loop, allowing generated globParts entries to be processed and expanded again. secondPhasePreProcess() then compares the expanded entries pairwise, so a short malicious glob can cause excessive CPU and memory consumption during pattern compilation. This issue is fixed in version 11.0.1.

sigstore-js provides JavaScript libraries for interacting with Sigstore services. Prior to 0.7.2, packages/oci/src/registry.ts contains a RegistryClient.signIn() method that stores registry Authorization and Docker configuration headers as defaults on a shared HTTP client, while RegistryClient.uploadBlob() sends a fresh PUT to an absolute blob-upload Location supplied by the registry without checking that its origin or scheme matches the registry. A malicious or compromised registry can therefore direct a user pushing an artifact through attachArtifactToImage() to an attacker-controlled host and receive the registry bearer token, Basic credentials, or custom authentication headers. Redirect-time header stripping does not prevent the leak because the cross-host PUT is a new explicit request rather than a followed redirect. This is a residual of CVE-2026-59891, whose fix changed credential selection in credentials.ts but did not constrain where credentials are sent from registry.ts. Version 0.7.2 fixes the issue by separating registry credentials from client-wide defaults and sending them only to the registry origin.

Due to insufficient sanitization of the From header value, a remote attacker can send a crafted email containing a malicious From header with an embedded JavaScript payload. When the victim opens the message in Classic UI and clicks Reply while composing in HTML mode with reply headers disabled, the unsanitized From header content is rendered as HTML and the JavaScript payload executes in the victim's browser, potentially allowing the attacker to steal session information or perform actions on behalf of the victim. This issue was fixed in version 10.1.21
