Sep 30, 2026Prior to v74.0.0.878.1682 of Meta Horizon OS, MediaSyncJobReceiver could be induced to send a privileged PendingIntent including a com.oculus.vrshell CallerIdenCVE-2026-92173 · Other software · Meta Platforms, Inc · reported by cve-assign@fb.comCritical 9.1
Prior to v74.0.0.878.1682 of Meta Horizon OS, MediaSyncJobReceiver could be induced to send a privileged PendingIntent including a com.oculus.vrshell CallerIdentity to an arbitrary application listening via NotificationListenerService. That would allow the application to impersonate the com.oculus.vrshell package, as well as packages signed with the same key, towards any endpoint within the OS that uses CallerIdentity authentication.

Sep 29, 2026pageant provides a [PageantStream] type that implements [AsyncRead] and [AsyncWrite] traits and can be used to talk to a running Pageant instance.CVE-2026-102820 · Other software · Eugeny · reported by GitHubMedium 6.2
pageant provides a [PageantStream] type that implements [AsyncRead] and [AsyncWrite] traits and can be used to talk to a running Pageant instance. Prior to pageant 0.2.3, the Windows pageant crate's pageant/src/wmmessage.rs MemoryMap::read function trusts a peer-controlled u32 response length supplied through the 8192-byte Pageant shared-memory mapping reached by AgentClient::connect_pageant. A local process that impersonates the Pageant window can make query_pageant_direct allocate up to approximately 4 GiB and copy beyond the mapped view, reliably crashing a russh client and conditionally exposing adjacent committed memory. This issue is fixed in pageant 0.2.3.

Sep 29, 2026pbkdf2 through 3.1.6 re-hashes passwords longer than the digest's block size on every iteration in its JavaScript fallback (lib/sync.js).CVE-2026-102414 · Other software · browserify · reported by 7ffcee3d-2c14-4c3e-b844-86c6a321a158Medium 6.3
pbkdf2 through 3.1.6 re-hashes passwords longer than the digest's block size on every iteration in its JavaScript fallback (lib/sync.js). A password longer than the block size (64 bytes, or 128 bytes for sha384 and sha512) is passed to HMAC as the key on every iteration, and HMAC hashes such keys in full each time. Cost is therefore O(iterations × password length), and a long password can block the event loop. The fallback is used by pbkdf2Sync and pbkdf2 on Node.js before 0.12, on Bun (1.0.0 through 1.1.34, and 1.2.6 and later), and on Deno 2.9.0 and later, because their native pbkdf2Sync fails the library's feature check. It is also used when lib/sync.js is imported directly. Node.js 0.12 and later, and browser builds (which use lib/sync-browser.js), are not affected. Applications that enforce a reasonable maximum password length are not meaningfully affected.

Sep 28, 2026The native BSD-socket layer recorded a pending asynchronous socket error by type-punning it into struct net_context's void user_data field (ctx->user_data = INTCVE-2026-18417 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 6.5
The native BSD-socket layer recorded a pending asynchronous socket error by type-punning it into struct net_context's void user_data field (ctx->user_data = INT_TO_POINTER(-status) in zsock_accepted_cb(), zsock_received_cb(), zsock_connected_cb() and zsock_close_ctx() in subsys/net/lib/sockets/sockets_inet.c), reading it back with POINTER_TO_INT(). That same field is owned by the network stack for listening TCP contexts: net_tcp_accept() stores the parent context pointer there and the TCP core passes it back to the registered accept callback. A failed accept therefore left a small integer (an errno value) where the stack expected a struct net_context . When the network interface carrying a listening TCP socket goes down, close_tcp_conn() in subsys/net/ip/tcp.c invokes the accept callback with -ENETDOWN and the context's user_data. In v4.3.0 the callback was not disarmed afterwards, so a second interface-down event forwarded the previously stored errno to zsock_accepted_cb(), which dereferenced it as the parent context and performed several stores through it (sock_set_error()'s read-modify-write of socket_data, k_fifo_cancel_wait(&parent->recv_q)) — the crash described in the fix's

Sep 28, 2026Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request/Response Smuggling') vulnerability in elixir-mint mint allows a malicious HTTP/1 server to desynchroCVE-2026-94194 · Other software · elixir-mint · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.3
Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request/Response Smuggling') vulnerability in elixir-mint mint allows a malicious HTTP/1 server to desynchronize an intermediary and the Mint client on a pooled connection, poisoning the responses to subsequent requests that share the connection. message_body/1 in lib/mint/http1.ex selects chunked framing when chunked is the first coding listed in a response's Transfer-Encoding fields. RFC 9112 section 6.3 applies chunked framing only when chunked is the final coding, and otherwise reads the body until the server closes the connection. For a response such as Transfer-Encoding: chunked, gzip, an intermediary that follows the RFC treats every byte up to the close as the body, while Mint ends the body at the zero-length chunk and parses the remaining bytes as the response to the next request on the connection. Mint also keeps the connection open after an HTTP/1.0 response, final or 1xx, that carries Transfer-Encoding and Connection: keep-alive. RFC 9112 section 6.1 requires treating the framing of such a message as faulty and closing the connection after it, so bytes after its chunked body are parsed as the response to the next req

Sep 26, 2026Froxlor 2.3.10 and earlier contain a time-of-check time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition in the SSH key synchronization cron (lib/Froxlor/Cron/System/SshKeys.php,CVE-2026-100713 · Other software · froxlor · reported by VulnCheckHigh 7.1
Froxlor 2.3.10 and earlier contain a time-of-check time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition in the SSH key synchronization cron (lib/Froxlor/Cron/System/SshKeys.php, SshKeys::generateFiles). The containment/symlink validation performed by FileDir::makeCorrectDir()/makeCorrectFile() is done only at check time; the live filesystem path is re-resolved as root at write time (file_put_contents with FILE_APPEND|LOCK_EX, followed by chmod/chown/chgrp), with a database round-trip and file reads in between, and no path or file-descriptor pinning (no O_NOFOLLOW or openat2(RESOLVE_NO_SYMLINKS)). On installations where the non-default setting system.allow_customer_shell=1 grants customers local shell access, a customer can atomically swap their ~/.ssh directory for a symlink after the check and before the write, causing the root-run cron to append the customer's public key to /root/.ssh/authorized_keys and to chown /root/.ssh to the customer, resulting in full root compromise of the panel host. The cron re-runs on every interval, allowing unlimited attempts. This is a residual race that bypasses the check-time fix introduced for GHSA-mq5v-... . The issue is fixed in Froxlor 2.3.12.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ppp_async: drop the errored frame instead of resetting its headroom ppp_receive_nonmp_frame() prepends a two-byte direction tag before running the pass/active BPF filters: *(__be16 *)skb_push(skb, 2) = htons(PPP_FILTER_INBOUND_TAG); Nothing on the receive path guarantees those two bytes of headroom. The frame-error path in ppp_async's process_input_packet() resets a reused skb's headroom to zero while claiming to restore it to a freshly allocated state - but a fresh skb from dev_alloc_skb() carries NET_SKB_PAD: err: if (skb) { /* make skb appear as freshly allocated */ skb_trim(skb, 0); skb_reserve(skb, - skb_headroom(skb)); } ap->rpkt still points at that skb, so the next frame is reassembled into it with no headroom at all. A peer that sends a bad-FCS frame followed by one beginning ff 03 then leaves a single byte of headroom by the time the filter tag is pushed, which lands one byte below skb->head: skbuff: skb_under_panic: len:49 put:2 head:ffff888003c10000 data:ffff888003c0ffff tail:0x30 end:0x640 dev:<NULL> kernel BUG at net/core/skbuff.c:214! Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs: do not mark the volume clean in sync_fs when errors were recorded ntfs_put_super() aCVE-2026-98138 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs: do not mark the volume clean in sync_fs when errors were recorded ntfs_put_super() and the remount-read-only path both clear the dirty bit only when NVolErrors(vol) is false. ntfs_sync_fs() clears it unconditionally, so any sync() on a volume that recorded an error marks that volume clean. A volume without this set is then seen as not needing recovery and it does not run one, so whatever went wrong is never repaired. This change skips resetting the dirty bit when there are volume errors. Reproduced on a volume whose $MFTMirr does not match $MFT, which sets the error flag while leaving the mount read-write: after a write and a sync, the on-disk volume flags read 0x0000 with this driver and 0x0001 with the guard in place.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: Fix readahead synchronisation issues by loading all folios upfront There are some synchronisation issues that derive from the app thread adding more folios to the rolling buffer whilst the collector thread is looking at them or trying to clear them, such as determining the setting of front_folio_order when the next folio hasn't been added yet, The reason for the rolling buffer approach is that loading the buffer upfront and then dropping all the refs just acquired is quite a slow operation, and loading progressively allows some of the cost to be deferred until after at least some of the I/O is started. Instead, a better way is to load all the folios into the rolling buffer upfront - and then drop the refs later, once the I/O is in progress. (Even better would be for the refs not to be there at all.) Fix this by changing the rolling buffer loader to load all the folios selected by the VM for readahead upfront into the folio queue. The folio queue is allocated a batch worth at a time as we don't know how many folios are involved (the readahead_control struct, alas, has a page count, not a folio count).

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ppp_synctty: ensure a writeable skb header ppp_sync_txmunge() checks headroom before prepending the address and control bytes, but does not ensure that the skb header is writable. A received skb can reach this function through PPP channel bridging without passing through ppp_start_xmit(), which calls skb_cow_head(). For example, a PPPoE frame may share its buffer with a clone queued to an AF_PACKET socket. If it is bridged to a synchronous tty channel, the address/control bytes can overwrite data still visible to that socket. Use skb_cow_head() to ensure both sufficient headroom and a writable header.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipvs: reject invalid states in connection template sync records IPVS sync receivers validate protocol states before creating or updating a connection. For connection templates, however, they only log states outside the template state range and still store the value in the connection. A template can be returned by ordinary connection lookup. TCP and SCTP then use the invalid state as an index into their transition tables. Reject invalid template states in both sync protocol versions before looking up or modifying a connection. The version 1 path handles both IPv4 and IPv6 records.

Sep 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/crypto: Fix wrong return code to engine in asynch callbacks When crypto_finalize_hashCVE-2026-97589 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/crypto: Fix wrong return code to engine in asynch callbacks When crypto_finalize_hash_request() or crypto_finalize_skcipher_request() explicitly completes a request, the do_one_request callback must return 0 to indicate successful handling. Returning a negative error code causes the crypto engine to assume the driver failed to take ownership and triggers a second completion via crypto_request_complete(), resulting in a double completion. This pattern occurs in paes_s390.c 4 times and once in phmac_s390.c. Fixed in phmac_do_one_request() and all four paes do_one_request callbacks (ecb, cbc, ctr, xts) by returning 0 after explicit finalization instead of propagating the error code.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: reject out-of-bounds DataOffset in CIFSSMBRead() The SMB1 synchronous read helper CIFSSMBRead() validates the server's DataLength against CIFSMaxBufSize and the caller's count, but never validates DataOffset. The copy source is formed as &pSMBr->hdr.Protocol + le16_to_cpu(pSMBr->DataOffset) and memcpy()'d for DataLength bytes with no check that the [DataOffset, DataOffset + DataLength) range lies within the response actually received from the server. A malicious or compromised SMB1 server can return a response carrying an in-range DataLength and a large DataOffset, driving the source pointer past the end of the response buffer. The memcpy() then copies adjacent kernel heap into the caller's read buffer (information disclosure), or reads unmapped memory and oopses (denial of service). SMB1 is not negotiated by default; reaching this code requires an explicit vers=1.0 mount. Both DataOffset and the received response length recorded in rsp_iov.iov_len are relative to the start of the SMB header, so reject the response unless DataOffset + DataLength fits within that length, using overflow-safe arith

FW error occurs 4. reconfig restores the BSS connection 5. however, restoring the NAN connection fails due to a FW error. 6. erroneously, ieee80211_handle_reconfig_failure is called and marks all interfaces as not-in-driver (will be fixed in a different patch). 7. mac80211 frees the links of the BSS connection but doesn't tell the driver about that, as it thinks that this vif is not in the driver. 8. in ieee80211_stop_device, *ALL* wiphy works are getting flushed (erroneously?) 9. Therefore, async_handlers_wk is being executed, processing the statistics notification that was received after we restored the BSS connection. 10. the notification handler dereferences fw_id_to_bss_conf[id], which is now a dangling pointer, as mac80211 already freed this link in (7). 11. On the first access to one of the links fields, we panic. While this can and should be fixed by removing the call to ieee80211_handle_reconfig_failure in (6), it is al

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Keep kick_sync waiting on the rq's own CPU kick_sync_wait_bal_cb() assumes it runs on the rq's CPU from the __schedule() tail: the snapshots it compares against live in that CPU's percpu area and the busy-wait runs with the rq lock dropped and IRQs enabled. However, dispatch can now drop the rq lock while the callback sits queued, and rq lock takers in that window (the sched class change paths, the scx task iterator) flush pending balance callbacks on release, running the callback on a foreign CPU. Such a run compares against unrelated snapshots and can deadlock when the executing CPU is itself a wait target. Bail on a foreign CPU and leave the wait state alone. The wait only observes progress that the resched kicks already guarantee and the rq's next wait picks up the stale cpus_to_sync bits.

Sync-in Server is an open-source platform for file storage, sharing, collaboration, and syncing. Prior to version 2.4.0, `POST /api/app/sync/register` accepts credentials and a TOTP code to register a desktop sync client. On a failed TOTP, `SyncClientsManager.register()` calls `updateAccesses(user, ip, false)`, which hits a freeze branch that writes `passwordAttempts` back unchanged. The counter never reaches `USER_MAX_PASSWORD_ATTEMPTS` (10) and the lockout gate never fires. A successful guess returns a `{clientId, clientToken}` pair. The token can be exchanged via `POST /api/app/sync/auth/cookie` for a full JWT. While the code is valid, the attacker can also call `POST /api/auth/2fa/disable` to permanently remove MFA. Sep 21, 2026Sync-in Server is an open-source platform for file storage, sharing, collaboration, and syncing.CVE-2026-58269 · Other software · Sync-in · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
Sync-in Server is an open-source platform for file storage, sharing, collaboration, and syncing. Prior to version 2.4.0, `POST /api/auth/token` authenticates with username and password only, then calls `getTokens()`, which returns full access and refresh JWTs without checking whether the account has TOTP 2FA enabled. An attacker with stolen or phished credentials can bypass 2FA in a single request. The parallel login endpoint (`POST /api/auth/login`) correctly enforces 2FA by calling `setCookies(user, res, true)`, which gates on `user.twoFaEnabled`. Version 2.4.0 patches the issue.

Sep 21, 2026deepstream is a server that allows clients and backend services to sync data, send messages and make rpcs at scale.CVE-2026-63116 · Other software · deepstreamIO · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
deepstream is a server that allows clients and backend services to sync data, send messages and make rpcs at scale. From 10.1.0 until 10.1.1, src/services/permission/valve/rules-map.ts omits RECORD_ACTION.PATCH_MULTI from RULES_MAP. When an authenticated user sends a PATCH_MULTI record operation while permission.type is config, getRulesForMessage returns a null rule specification and ConfigPermission.canPerformAction treats the missing specification as an unconditional allow instead of applying RULE_TYPES.WRITE. Any authenticated user can therefore modify arbitrary protected records, corrupt application state, or cause service disruption; deployments using the default permission type none already allow all operations and are not additionally affected. This issue is fixed in version 10.1.1.

Sep 19, 2026Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request/Response Smuggling') vulnerability in elixir-mint mint allows a malicious HTTP/1 server to desynchroCVE-2026-82672 · Other software · elixir-mint · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbMedium 6.3
Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request/Response Smuggling') vulnerability in elixir-mint mint allows a malicious HTTP/1 server to desynchronize a strict intermediary and the Mint client on a pooled connection, enabling response-queue poisoning against subsequent requests that share the connection. Mint.HTTP1.Parse.chunk_size/1 in lib/mint/http1/parse.ex stops at the first non-hexadecimal byte of a chunked response's chunk-size line and returns the remainder unexamined. Mint.HTTP1.decode_body/5 in lib/mint/http1.ex then discards every byte up to the CRLF with Parse.ignore_until_crlf/1, so the accepted grammar is a run of hex digits followed by arbitrary bytes, where RFC 9112 permits only a ;-introduced chunk extension. Lines such as 5ZZZZZ and 5 9 are accepted as chunk size 5, and 0ZZZZ is accepted as the terminating chunk that ends the message body. An RFC-strict intermediary rejects such a line while Mint accepts it, so the two disagree on chunk boundaries and on where the response ends. This issue affects mint: from 0.1.0 before 1.10.1.

Sep 19, 2026Metasync: Unauthorized modification of dataCVE-2026-15947 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3
The Metasync plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the save_instant_indexing_settings() function in versions up to, and including, 2.6.23. This function is registered on the admin_init hook and only checks for the presence of $_POST['submit'] before writing attacker-supplied $_POST['metasync_post_types'] into the site-wide 'metasync_options_instant_indexing' option via update_option(); no current_user_can()/current_user_has_plugin_access() check and no nonce verification are performed. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to modify the site's Google Instant Indexing post-type configuration, controlling which post types are auto-submitted to Google's Instant Indexing service.

Sep 18, 2026Autobahn Python is a WebSocket and WAMP implementation for Python that supports Twisted and asyncio.CVE-2026-77528 · Other software · crossbario · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
Autobahn Python is a WebSocket and WAMP implementation for Python that supports Twisted and asyncio. Prior to 26.7.1, WebSocket endpoints that accept permessage-deflate and rely on maxMessagePayloadSize enforce that limit against the compressed frame length before inflation but do not recheck the decompressed message size before delivery. A remote unauthenticated client can send a valid compressed frame below the configured wire-size limit that expands beyond the application message limit, causing oversized data to be allocated, joined, validated, and passed to application callbacks. This can create resource-exhaustion pressure, but the advisory does not establish confidentiality or integrity impact. This issue is fixed in version 26.7.1.

Sep 18, 2026c-ares is an asynchronous resolver library.CVE-2026-69186 · Other software · c-ares · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
c-ares is an asynchronous resolver library. Prior to 1.34.7, ares_dns_parse() trusts the attacker-controlled ANCOUNT, NSCOUNT, and ARCOUNT fields before confirming that the DNS response contains enough bytes for the claimed records. Because process_answer() invokes parsing before transaction ID and question validation, a malicious DNS response can cause ares_dns_record_rr_prealloc() and ares_array_set_size() to reserve disproportionate heap memory for a tiny message. Repeated responses create large allocation and release cycles that can degrade or deny name resolution, without causing memory corruption or information disclosure. c-ares is an asynchronous resolver library. Prior to 1.34.7, ares_dns_name_parse() enforces backward DNS compression pointers but does not bound the total pointer hops or assembled name length. A malicious DNS server can send a response containing a long descending pointer chain and many resource records whose NAME or RDATA fields refer to the chain, causing repeated decompression work that grows quadratically with message size. AnyIO is a high level asynchronous concurrency and networking framework that works on top of either Trio or asyncio. Prior to 4.14.2, AnyIO starts process-pool workers with standard error connected to a pipe that the parent never drains, even though the documented behavior redirects all three standard streams. Worker code that writes enough attacker-influenced data to sys.stderr can fill the pipe and block before returning the standard-output protocol response, causing the awaiting process-pool call to remain blocked indefinitely. AnyIO is a high level asynchronous concurrency and networking framework that works on top of either Trio or asyncio. In 4.14.0, AnyIO accepts the POSIX extra_groups argument in anyio.run_process() and anyio.open_process(), but open_process() forwards the group argument to the backend instead of extra_groups. A caller that supplies extra_groups=[] to clear inherited supplementary groups can therefore launch a child that retains the parent process groups, undermining a privilege-dropping boundary. If group is also supplied, the integer group value is passed where an iterable of supplementary groups is expected and the launch can fail with TypeError. This issue affects POSIX applications that rely on AnyIO subprocess helpers to launch less-privileged child processes. This issue is fixed in version 4.14.2.

Sep 18, 2026ArcadeDB before 26.9.1 (com.arcadedb:arcadedb-engine <= 26.8.1) fails to bind the authenticated principal onto the DatabaseAsyncTransaction async worker threadsCVE-2026-93596 · Other software · ArcadeData · reported by VulnCheckMedium 5.3
ArcadeDB before 26.9.1 (com.arcadedb:arcadedb-engine <= 26.8.1) fails to bind the authenticated principal onto the DatabaseAsyncTransaction async worker threads used by the parallel edge-connect phase of POST /api/v1/batch/{database}. Because those workers have no current user, LocalDatabase.checkPermissionsOnFile returns early and allows the write, bypassing per-type CREATE_RECORD/UPDATE_RECORD ACL enforcement. In deployments that rely on per-type or per-group ACLs, an authenticated low-privilege user holding CREATE_RECORD on an edge type E but with CREATE_RECORD/UPDATE_RECORD revoked on a vertex type V can submit a graph edge-load batch request (with parallelFlush at its default value of true) and durably append edges to protected vertices of type V by writing records into V's <V>_out_edges/<V>_in_edges buckets, resulting in unauthorized modification of graph adjacency. Setting parallelFlush=false causes the request to be correctly rejected. This is an incomplete fix of GHSA-c23x-pqcj-7hfm, which bound the principal only on the HTTP handler thread.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: v4l2-async: Unregister sub-device if asc_list is empty When my em28xx USB device that uses the i2c tvp5150 driver is disconnected, it crashes. The cause is that the tvp5150 i2c module uses v4l2_async, but the em28xx driver does not since it predates v4l2_async. In that corner case sd->asc_list is empty, so v4l2_async_unregister_subdev() never calls v4l2_device_unregister_subdev(). Modify the code so that, if sd->asc_list is empty, v4l2_device_unregister_subdev() is still called.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: remoteproc: Prevent crash handling to race with rproc_del() There's no synchronization between rproc_crash_handler_work() and rproc_del(), as such it's possible for a driver to be removed while crash-handler work is scheduled, or even executing - resulting in use-after-free issues. To avoid this the scheduled work need to be cancelled and synchronized against before the removal proceeds. In order to ensure that this doesn't race with the reporting, and thereby scheduling new work, a "deleting" flag is introduced. This is similar to the RPROC_DELETE state that was introduced to ensure that "start" didn't race with rproc_del(), but the existing mechanism can not be used as it's valid to call rproc_report_crash() in atomic context - and the "state" is protected by a mutex. In the event that work is cancelled the pm_stay_awake() is left unbalanced and need to be unrolled. The blocking and cancelling of crash-handler work prior to the actual rproc_shutdown() call does have the explicit side-effect that crashes resulting from the shutdown process will not enter the crash-handling path, and as such will not generate

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/tegra241-cmdqv: Synchronize the error ISR against VINTF (de)init A user VINTF is torn down by tegra241_cmdqv_deinit_vintf(), which runs from the destroy callback and from the init-failure unwind in the alloc handler. It clears the cmdqv->vintfs[] slot and lets the iommufd core free it, but nothing serializes that against the error interrupt: tegra241_cmdqv_isr() reads cmdqv->vintfs[idx] and dereferences the vintf. A concurrent error can make the ISR read a slot mid-clear (a NULL deref) or use a vintf which is about to be freed (a use-after-free). deinit_vintf() also returns idx to the IDA before clearing the slot, so a concurrent create that reuses idx can publish its new vintf into the slot, only for this teardown to erase it again with the stale NULL store. On the other end, tegra241_cmdqv_init_vintf() publishes a new vintf with a plain store to the cmdqv->vintfs[] slot, and the ISR dereferences fields of a published vintf such as vintf->base. A plain store gives no ordering on a weakly-ordered CPU, and a stale VINTF_ERR_MAP bit on a reused idx can make the ISR pick a vintf the moment it is published, b

Unfortunately, that fix was incomplete [1], as it failed to update 'orig_x0' between a tracer updating x0 during a seccomp ptrace exit (SECCOMP_RET_TRACE) and the seccomp filter being re-evaluated. Rather than add hooks to the core seccomp code, instead move the synchronisation code into the ptrace GPR and syscall setting code so that 'orig_x0' is kept up to date with x0 whenever we're stopped on the syscall entry path.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_conn: fix the SCO setup context lifetime hci_setup_sync() queues a conn_handle_t with a NULL destroy callback, so the context is only freed if hci_enhanced_setup_sync() actually runs. An entry that is cancelled instead is leaked, as _hci_cmd_sync_cancel_entry() does not release entry->data when there is no destroy callback, and hci_cmd_sync_clear() cancels every pending entry when the controller is unregistered. The context also stores a bare hci_conn pointer, so the connection can be freed while the work is queued. The dequeue in hci_conn_del() does not cover it either, as it matches on entry->data == conn and entry->data is the wrapper here. Same problem as commit 2f5d635ad590 ("Bluetooth: hci_sync: hold conn in hci_connect_acl/le_sync() callbacks"). Hold the connection and release both from a destroy callback. The submission failure path drops both, since hci_cmd_sync_submit() does not call the destroy callback when it fails to queue.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_sync: free the advertising instance on the failure and cancel paths adv_timeout_expire() hands a kmalloc()ed instance byte to hci_cmd_sync_queue() with a NULL destroy callback, and only adv_timeout_expire_sync() frees it. That leaks on two paths: - the return value is not checked, and hci_cmd_sync_queue() does not take ownership when it fails (-ENETDOWN, -ENODEV, -ENOMEM); - a cancelled entry is not released, as _hci_cmd_sync_cancel_entry() does not free entry->data when there is no destroy callback. hci_cmd_sync_clear() cancels every pending entry when the controller is unregistered. Free the buffer from a destroy callback, and in the caller when the entry could not be queued at all.

Sep 17, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: MGMT: free the HCI command when it is cancelled mgmt_hci_cmd_sync() queues the CVE-2026-90252 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: MGMT: free the HCI command when it is cancelled mgmt_hci_cmd_sync() queues the pending command with a NULL destroy callback, so it is only freed if send_hci_cmd_sync() runs. A cancelled entry is leaked, as _hci_cmd_sync_cancel_entry() does not release entry->data when there is no destroy callback, and hci_cmd_sync_clear() cancels every pending entry when the controller is unregistered. Nothing else reclaims it either: mgmt_pending_new() does not put the command on hdev->mgmt_pending. The leak also pins the socket reference taken by mgmt_pending_new(), so the mgmt socket is never released. Free the command from a destroy callback. The now-empty done label is replaced by a direct return.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
