  • Jul 8, 2026HAPI FHIR is a complete implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard for healthcare interoperability in Java.CVE-2026-55470 · Other software · hapifhir · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

HAPI FHIR is a complete implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard for healthcare interoperability in Java. Prior to 6.9.10, the fix for CVE-2026-45367 incompletely patched the DSTU2 module, leaving FHIRPathEngine.matches() in org.hl7.fhir.dstu2/utils/FHIRPathEngine.java to call raw String.matches(sw) without RegexTimeout protection while replaceMatches() was updated, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to trigger catastrophic regex backtracking and exhaust server CPU. This issue is fixed in version 6.9.10.

Trail of Bits fickling versions up to and including 0.1.10 do not include the Python standard library modules _posixsubprocess, site, and atexit in the UNSAFE_IMPORTS denylist (fickle.py). Because these modules are absent from the denylist, fickling's check_safety() function returns LIKELY_SAFE with zero findings for pickle payloads that invoke dangerous functions including _posixsubprocess.fork_exec (C-level process spawner capable of executing arbitrary binaries), site.execsitecustomize (executes arbitrary site customization code), and atexit._run_exitfuncs (triggers all registered exit handler callbacks). The fickling.load() API chains check_safety() into pickle.loads() as an explicit security gate; a LIKELY_SAFE verdict causes the payload to be deserialized and executed. This shares the same root cause as CVE-2026-22607 (cProfile), CVE-2025-67748 (pty), and CVE-2025-67747 (marshal/types). OvertlyBadEvals does not flag these modules because they are standard library imports. UnsafeImports does not flag them because they are not in the denylist. The UnusedVariables heuristic is defeated by the SETITEMS opcode pattern.

In Eclipse Theia since version 1.26.0, the backend /services/request-service RPC accepts an attacker-controlled URL from any client connected to the standard /services messaging endpoint, performs the HTTP request server-side, and returns the full response body to the caller. Because the destination URL is neither validated nor allowlisted, a remote attacker with access to the Theia service connection can issue server-side HTTP requests to localhost or other backend-reachable hosts and read their responses, exposing internal administrative endpoints, cloud instance metadata services, and other resources that are intentionally outside the browser network boundary. The vulnerability affects deployments where the Theia service connection is reachable by untrusted users (for example, multi-tenant or publicly-reachable Theia deployments).

  • Jun 22, 2026Apache NiFi 0.0.1 through 2.9.0 support building qualified URLs from one of several HTTP request headers that provide an alternative to the standard Host headerCVE-2026-54665 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 6.3

Apache NiFi 0.0.1 through 2.9.0 support building qualified URLs from one of several HTTP request headers that provide an alternative to the standard Host header without validating the values provided. Apache NiFi 1.6.0 introduced a configurable application property to restrict values provided in the HTTP Host header, but did not apply the validation to alternative Proxy and Forwarded headers. The absence of proxy host header validation allowed a client to instruct Apache NiFi web services to construct invalid qualified URLs for redirection or data references. Upgrading to Apache NiFi 2.10.0 is the recommended mitigation, which implements validation for the X-ProxyHost and X-Forwarded-Host HTTP request headers based on the nifi.web.proxy.host property. Enabling header validation requires configuring the application with HTTPS. Reverse proxy servers in front of Apache NiFi are responsible for filtering input request headers and providing allowed values to the application.

  • Jun 17, 2026joserfc is a Python library that provides an implementation of several JSON Object Signing and Encryption (JOSE) standards.CVE-2026-48990 · Other software · authlib · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

joserfc is a Python library that provides an implementation of several JSON Object Signing and Encryption (JOSE) standards. In versions 1.3.4 through 1.6.5, joserfc accepts oversized RFC7797 b64=false JWS payloads without applying JWSRegistry.max_payload_length, which can lead to resource exhaustion. The normal JWS compact and flattened JSON paths reject payloads above the configured payload-size limit with ExceededSizeError. The RFC7797 unencoded payload paths do not make the same check. A valid b64=false compact or flattened JSON JWS can therefore deserialize successfully with a payload larger than JWSRegistry.max_payload_length. Applications that accept lower-trust JWS values and rely on joserfc to reject oversized token content during verification have a moderate availability risk. This issue has been fixed in version 1.6.7.

PHP Standard Library (PSL) is set of APIs covering async, collections, networking, I/O, cryptography, terminal UI, etc. In versions 6.1.0, 6.1.1 and 6.2.0, the Psl\H2\ServerConnection does not validate that the total bytes received in DATA frames match the content-length header declared in the HEADERS frame, allowing request smuggling. This is in violation of RFC 9113 §8.1.1. A malicious client is able to send more DATA bytes than declared, smuggling additional content past application-level size limits and send fewer DATA bytes than declared and close the stream early, causing applications that trust the declared length to behave incorrectly. The vulnerability is only reachable for consumers using Psl\H2\ServerConnection directly to accept untrusted client traffic. Consumers of documented high-level PSL APIs are not affected. This issue has been fixed in versions 6.1.2 and 6.2.1.

Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in the Elixir standard library's Version module allows an attacker who controls a version string to cause a denial of service through CPU and memory exhaustion. The version parser converts numeric version components (major, minor, patch and numeric pre-release/build identifiers) to integers without bounding their length. A single large all-digit component therefore forces a super-linear, non-yielding base-10 to arbitrary-precision integer conversion (String.to_integer/1, i.e. :erlang.binary_to_integer/1) that pins a BEAM scheduler, and a larger component raises an uncaught SystemLimitError that crashes the calling process. A single moderately sized string (around one megabyte) is enough; no authentication is required. This is reachable from the public entry points Version.parse/1, Version.parse!/1, Version.match?/3, Version.compare/2, and Version.parse_requirement/1, which applications routinely call on untrusted input such as HTTP parameters, dependency-manifest fields, and package metadata. This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/version.ex and program routines 'Elixir.Version.Parser':parse_digits/2. This issue a

(*x509.Certificate).VerifyHostname previously called matchHostnames in a loop over all DNS Subject Alternative Name (SAN) entries. This caused strings.Split(host, ".") to execute repeatedly on the same input hostname. With a large DNS SAN list, verification costs scaled quadratically based on the number of SAN entries multiplied by the hostname's label count. Because x509.Verify validates hostnames before building the certificate chain, this overhead occurred even for untrusted certificates.

OpenTelemetry eBPF Instrumentation provides eBPF instrumentation based on the OpenTelemetry standard. From version 0.7.0 to before version 0.9.0, a remotely reachable integer overflow in OBI's memcached text protocol parser can crash the OBI process and cause denial of service. When parsing memcached storage commands such as set, add, replace, append, prepend, or cas, OBI accepts extremely large <bytes> values and adds the payload delimiter length without checking for overflow. A crafted request with <bytes> set to math.MaxInt or math.MaxInt-1 causes the computed payload length to wrap negative and triggers a runtime panic in LargeBufferReader.Peek. This issue has been patched in version 0.9.0.

The High security mode is not affected.Workaround: For existing installations running in Standard security mode, set Access-Control-Allow-Credentials to false via the REST API: PATCH /rest/v2/system/settings with body {"supportedOrigins": "null"}. Alternatively, select High security level during initial setup. Solution: Update to Nx Witness VMS version 6.1.2 or later, in which Access-Control-Allow-Credentials is set to false in the default Standard security configuration.

  • May 28, 2026In Calico, the install-cni init container logs the rendered CNI configuration to standard output.CVE-2026-41184 · Other software · Tigera · reported by psirt@tigera.ioMedium 6

In Calico, the install-cni init container logs the rendered CNI configuration to standard output. When the configuration template uses the __SERVICEACCOUNT_TOKEN__ placeholder (Canal/Flannel-Calico deployments), the installer substitutes the live Kubernetes ServiceAccount bearer token before logging, exposing the token to any authenticated user with pods/log permission in the namespace with calico-node. The token holds patch privileges on pods/status, enabling annotation-based attacks against cluster workloads. The default kubeconfig-based authentication path is not affected. This is a direct regression of TTA-2018-001.

  • May 22, 2026The ToASCII and ToUnicode functions incorrectly accept Punycode-encoded labels that decode to an ASCII-only label.CVE-2026-39821 · Other software · Go standard library · reported by security@golang.orgCritical 9.6

The ToASCII and ToUnicode functions incorrectly accept Punycode-encoded labels that decode to an ASCII-only label. For example, ToUnicode("xn--example-.com") incorrectly returns the name "example.com" rather than an error. This behavior can lead to privilege escalation in programs using the idna package. For example, a program which performs privilege checks on the ASCII hostname may reject "example.com" but permit "xn--example-.com". If that program subsequently converts the ASCII hostname to Unicode, it will inadvertently permits access to the Unicode name "example.com".

In PHP versions 8.2.* before 8.2.31, 8.3.* before 8.3.31, 8.4.* before 8.4.21, and 8.5.* before 8.5.6, the metaphone() function in ext/standard/metaphone.c uses a signed int variable to track the current position within the input string. If a string longer than 2,147,483,647 bytes is passed, a signed integer overflow occurs, resulting in undefined behavior. This can lead to an out-of-bounds read, causing a segmentation fault or access to unrelated memory, and may affect the availability of the PHP process.

pygeoapi is a Python server implementation of the OGC API suite of standards. From version 0.23.0 to before version 0.23.3, a raw string path concatenation vulnerability in pygeoapi's STAC FileSystemProvider plugin can allow for requests to STAC collection based collections to expose directories without authentication. The issue manifests when pygeoapi is deployed without a proxy or web front end that would normalize URLs with .. values, along with a resource of type stac-collection defined in configuration. This issue has been patched in version 0.23.3.

  • May 7, 2026ReverseProxy can forward queries containing parameters not visible to Rewrite functions.CVE-2026-39825 · Other software · Go standard library · reported by security@golang.orgMedium 5.3

ReverseProxy can forward queries containing parameters not visible to Rewrite functions. When used with a Rewrite function, or a Director function which parses query parameters, ReverseProxy sanitizes the forwarded request to remove query parameters which are not parsed by url.ParseQuery. ReverseProxy does not take ParseQuery's limit on the total number of query parameters (controlled by GODEBUG=urlmaxqueryparams=N) into account. This can permit ReverseProxy to forward a request containing a query parameter that is not visible to the Rewrite function. For example, the query "a1=x&a2=x&...&a10000=x&hidden=y" can forward the parameter "hidden=y" while hiding it from the proxy's Rewrite function.

xmldom is a pure JavaScript W3C standard-based (XML DOM Level 2 Core) `DOMParser` and `XMLSerializer` module. In @xmldom/xmldom prior to versions 0.9.10 and 0.8.13 and xmldom version 0.6.0 and prior, the package allows attacker-controlled processing instruction data to be serialized into XML without validating or neutralizing the PI-closing sequence ?>.
