Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix smbd_connection leak on cifs_get_tcp_session() error When an RDMA connectCVE-2026-98172 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix smbd_connection leak on cifs_get_tcp_session() error When an RDMA connection is successfully established via smbd_get_connection() but cifs_get_tcp_session() later fails (e.g. kthread_create() returns an error), the error path frees tcp_ses without first destroying the smbd_connection. Fix this by calling smbd_destroy() in the out_err cleanup path before kfree(tcp_ses). smbd_destroy() safely handles the case where smbd_conn is NULL, so it can be called unconditionally.

Oct 5, 2026A flaw was found in the User Session Note mapper of the Keycloak identity and access management solution.CVE-2026-105302 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 5.7
A flaw was found in the User Session Note mapper of the Keycloak identity and access management solution. The issue occurs because the mapper does not validate whether a requested session note contains sensitive internal credentials, such as federated access tokens from external identity providers. This allows a delegated client administrator to leak a user's upstream bearer tokens into the tokens issued to their managed application, potentially leading to unauthorized access to the user's data on external platforms.

ezBookkeeping 1.2.0 before 2.0.1 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows attackers holding an API token to obtain a full session token via /api/v1/tokens/refresh.json. metatool-ai MetaMCP through 2.4.22 contains an insecure direct object reference (IDOR) in the MCP transport session dispatch. When NetX Secure is built with `NX_SECURE_KEY_CLEAR`, every TLS record sent on an active session is wiped after it has been handed to TCP. By then the TCP layer owns the packet chain and may already have released it to the packet pool. The wipe therefore writes zeros into packets that are free or in use by another thread, and when a reused packet's pointers no longer describe the old data, the length of the wipe underflows and it runs past the end of the packet pool.

The Kaon AR2140X router improperly issues session cookies in responses to unauthenticated HTTP requests. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to obtain a valid session identifier without providing credentials, resulting in an authentication bypass. With this access, the attacker can perform unauthorized actions on upgrade-related functionalities. These actions can be abused to force the router to issue GET requests to arbitrarily chosen domains. This issue was identified in firmware versions up to 4.2.17. Sep 27, 2026Without NO_SESSION_CACHE_REF, wolfSSL_get_session() does not return a session object but a ClientSession reference of the form {row, index, hash(sessionID)} intCVE-2026-94419 · Other software · wolfSSL · reported by facts@wolfssl.comLow 2.3
Without NO_SESSION_CACHE_REF, wolfSSL_get_session() does not return a session object but a ClientSession reference of the form {row, index, hash(sessionID)} into the process-global SessionCache, and ClientSessionToSession() validates it against that hash alone. Because the TLS 1.2 session ID is chosen by the server and sent in clear, AddSessionToCache() matches any other server's session on the same ID and overwrites the client-side entry with that server's master secret, cipher suite and version, while the handle continues to resolve; nothing on the write path compares the peer, the application's server ID or the WOLFSSL_CTX. Resuming through the handle then produces an abbreviated handshake in which no Certificate message is sent, so neither chain verification nor wolfSSL_check_domain_name() runs, and the attacker is accepted as the original server for the whole of that connection. Affected builds are those leaving NO_SESSION_CACHE_REF, NO_SESSION_CACHE, NO_CLIENT_CACHE and TITAN_SESSION_CACHE all undefined, which includes a plain ./configure, --enable-opensslextra and --enable-opensslall; fifteen integration options define NO_SESSION_CACHE_REF and are therefore not affected, amo

Sep 26, 2026froxlor versions before 2.3.12 fail to invalidate existing panel sessions, API keys, and 2FA trust cookies when a user password is changed.CVE-2026-100711 · Other software · froxlor · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
froxlor versions before 2.3.12 fail to invalidate existing panel sessions, API keys, and 2FA trust cookies when a user password is changed. Attackers holding hijacked sessions, valid API keys, or 2FA trust tokens retain full account access after password rotation, bypassing incident response actions.

SiYuan before v3.8.4 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in the publish service where session cookies are issued without Secure or SameSite attributes over plaintext HTTP connections. An on-path attacker can observe a valid publish-visitor-session-id cookie from a Basic Auth exchange and replay it to access authenticated publish endpoints without knowing the account password.

OpenClaw versions before 2026.7.1 contain a sandbox bypass vulnerability in the browser tool that allows sandboxed sessions to access paired node browser actions despite allowHostControl=false configuration. Attackers with control over sandboxed agent input can select a paired node and perform host browser operations, inspecting or manipulating the connected browser profile and its authenticated state.

Sep 25, 2026OpenClaw (npm package `openclaw`) before 2026.8.1 incorrectly enforces sender tool policies during session-memory filename generation.CVE-2026-100545 · Other software · OpenClaw · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6
OpenClaw (npm package `openclaw`) before 2026.8.1 incorrectly enforces sender tool policies during session-memory filename generation. In affected versions, filename generation created an embedded helper that retained tools which the originating sender's policy had removed. When session-memory filename generation was enabled for an agent reachable by lower-trust senders, model-mediated instructions could cause the helper to invoke tools outside that sender's effective policy; the demonstrated impact was the creation of persistent scheduled work. Exploitability depends on the model acting on the injected instruction and on which tools the helper exposes. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1; as a workaround, disable session-memory filename generation for agents reachable by lower-trust senders.

OpenClaw (npm package 'openclaw') versions >= 2026.4.5 and < 2026.8.1 can lose the originating requester's restrictions and untrusted provenance when session-derived text is persisted to session memory. In deployments where session-memory capture and dreaming are enabled, a restricted external sender whose messages are admitted with limited tools can persist instructions that are later supplied to an unattended background (dreaming) agent holding broader file and command capabilities, allowing actions beyond the authority of the original turn and affecting files, commands, or services available to that agent. Exploitation requires the content to be captured, selected for later processing, and followed by the model. The issue is fixed in 2026.8.1.

Flame through 2.4.0 contains an insufficient session expiration vulnerability in the login endpoint that allows attackers with former admin access to obtain tokens with arbitrary lifespans by supplying unvalidated duration parameters. Attackers can mint near-permanent administrator tokens that survive password changes, retaining full control of the dashboard since tokens are verified only against a static JWT secret that is never rotated.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: safely drain sessions during logoff SMB3 multichannel allows requests for one session to run on multiple connections. Wait for all channels bound to a session before freeing shared session objects. A deferred byte-range lock remains counted as a running request and only wakes when its file closes. Wake blocked locks during the drain without unpublishing or modifying their file objects. Synchronous CANCEL requests must invoke their cancellation callback to wake pending operations, while CHANGE_NOTIFY completion remains specific to the asynchronous path. Serialize session teardown with channel registration and previous-session cleanup, and use atomic work-state transitions so LOGOFF, CANCEL, and connection teardown invoke cancellation callbacks only once.
