  • Sep 29, 2026Apache Airflow's Google provider built Google Drive search expressions by interpolating file and folder names directly into single-quoted string literals, withoCVE-2026-81914 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 4.3

Apache Airflow's Google provider built Google Drive search expressions by interpolating file and folder names directly into single-quoted string literals, without escaping the quote character that delimits them. A name containing an apostrophe therefore terminated the literal early and appended clauses of the attacker's choosing to the query. The names are frequently not written by the Dag author. In a wildcard `gcs_to_gdrive` transfer they come from the source bucket listing, so anyone able to create objects in that bucket controls them — typically an external data producer or an ingest-only service account, a different trust principal from the Dag author. An injected clause can broaden the match and so steer which file or folder the hook resolves: an upload can be directed into a folder the attacker named, and, because downloads select the most recently modified match, a download can return a file they placed rather than the one the Dag asked for. Affects deployments passing externally-sourced names to the Google Drive hook, including wildcard `gcs_to_gdrive` transfers from buckets writable by less-trusted principals. Users are advised to upgrade to `apache-airflow-providers-go

LDAPCache and LDAPBackingEngine build LDAP search filters for user lookup and role lookup by textually substituting the placeholders %u, %dn, and %fqdn (drawn from the login name, the resolved user DN, and its fully qualified namespace form) into administrator-configured filter templates (userFilter, roleFilter). Before the fix, the only sanitization applied to the substituted value was double backslashed: filter = filter.replaceAll(Pattern.quote("%u"), Matcher.quoteReplacement(user)); filter = filter.replace("\\", "\\\\"); This does not escape the other characters RFC 4515 requires escaping in an LDAP search filter: *, (, ), and NUL. A login name containing any of these can change the structure of the resulting filter rather than being matched as a literal value (e.g. a crafted username can turn an equality match into a wildcard match, or close/reopen filter clauses), widening what the search returns and potentially causing a login or role lookup to match an LDAP entry other than the intended one, over-granting roles, and depending on deployment-specific filter templates, potentially affecting which account a login resolved to. It's not exploitable through every entry po

Adminer 4.16.0 through 6.0.1 contain a pre-authentication Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the optional Elasticsearch driver (plugins/drivers/elastic.php), fixed in 6.0.2. Because adminer/include/auth.inc.php invokes Driver::connect() before the login result is validated, an unauthenticated attacker who submits crafted auth[server], auth[username], and auth[password] parameters can cause the Adminer server to issue an HTTP GET request (via get_url()/file_get_contents()) to an arbitrary reachable host and port. The driver validates only general server syntax and does not block loopback, private, link-local, or other reserved addresses; if no port is given it appends the default 9200, and Adminer's generic port check rejects ports below 1024. Selected JSON error fields from non-2xx Elasticsearch-style responses, as well as connection failures, are rendered on the login page, providing a port-scanning oracle and enabling internal network reconnaissance and service fingerprinting. Exploitation requires that the optional Elasticsearch driver be explicitly deployed (e.g., via the adminer/elastic.php template or an adminer_object() configuration; it is not loaded in a d

Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (CWE-400 / CWE-1333) in regex search query predicates (such as RegexProjectPredicate, RegexRefPredicate, RegexPathPredicate, and sibling predicates) and REST regex filter endpoints (RegexListSearcher /projects/?r= and RefFilter /projects/{project}/branches/?r=) in Gerrit Code Review versions 2.1.6 through 3.12.9, 3.13.0 through 3.13.8, and 3.14.0 through 3.14.2 allows an unauthenticated remote attacker (or an authenticated user if anonymous read access is disabled) to cause a denial of service (CPU starvation and JVM heap exhaustion / OutOfMemoryError) via crafted search queries or REST API requests containing regular expressions with large counted repetitions or exponential DFA determinization patterns. Because the user-supplied regular expression is compiled into an unbounded dk.brics.automaton instance (new RegExp(re).toAutomaton()) on the request thread prior to index evaluation or access control visibility filtering, trivial queries can exhaust JVM heap or pin request threads regardless of heap size. Because syntactic predicates in conditionOr and conditionAnd recurse via conditionBase without memoization prior to capability or visibility checks and worker threads do not abort when the client disconnects, a small number of requests (such as 25 requests matching default httpd.maxThreads) can permanently pin all HTTP worker threads. MISP contains a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the event REST search export confirmation form. The view template app/View/Events/ajax/eventRestSearchExportConfirmationForm.ctp renders a URL-supplied event ID list into a single-quoted JavaScript string literal using PHP's json_encode() without any hex-encoding flags. By default, json_encode() escapes double quotes and backslashes but does not escape single quotes. Because the JavaScript string is delimited by single quotes, an attacker can inject a single-quote character to terminate the string literal and execute arbitrary JavaScript in the victim's browser session. The vulnerability affects the Default and UiBeta themes, both of which render this view. The Overmind theme's own copy of the form already passed the value through an escaped data attribute and was not affected by this specific sink. Preconditions: the victim must be an authenticated MISP user and must actively open or navigate to the attacker-crafted URL. The attacker does not require an account or any prior access to the MISP instance. Security impact: successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the MISP

Temporal Server did not bound the work performed while searching for a Schedule's next action time. An authenticated caller with namespace write permission could create or update a Schedule that combines a fine-grained cadence with an exclusion calendar that rejects every candidate time, causing the server to evaluate excluded candidates without a per-search work budget. This can consume excessive CPU in Frontend and Schedule worker components. A persisted specification can also cause its backing Schedule Workflow to repeatedly fail and retry, allowing CPU consumption to continue without additional requests until the Schedule is deleted or its backing Workflow is terminated. Repeated or parallel exploitation can deny service. The issue affects availability only; it does not expose or modify Workflow data.

Joomla Extension - OrdaSoft.com - Unauthenticated SQL Injection in OrdaSoft Joomla Gallery extension for Joomla < 6.2.7 - The extensions showSearchResult() and showSearchResultAjax() read the textsearch/searchText request parameter with $input->getVar(), which is not a real Joomla filter method and falls through to a filter that strips HTML tags but does not touch quotes or SQL syntax. The value is concatenated directly into a LIKE clause with no escaping. The endpoint requires no login of any kind: mod_osgallery_search is a public, commonly-published search box. Any anonymous site visitor can inject a UNION SELECT and read arbitrary database content.

  • Sep 19, 2026Search Atlas SEO – Premier SEO Plugin for One-Click WP Publishing & Integrated AI Optimization: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-15946 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The Search Atlas SEO – Premier SEO Plugin for One-Click WP Publishing & Integrated AI Optimization plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.6.23. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to overwrite the whitelabel settings password to an attacker-controlled value, enabling them to unlock whitelabel-protected admin settings tabs including whitelabel, general, and advanced configuration.

  • Sep 17, 2026The Photos app's filter-based "smart albums" build their file listing using the search configuration (photosSourceFolders) of the user viewing the album, ratherCVE-2026-82985 · Other software · Nextcloud · reported by support@hackerone.comMedium 6.5

The Photos app's filter-based "smart albums" build their file listing using the search configuration (photosSourceFolders) of the user viewing the album, rather than the album owner's configuration. When an album owner shares a smart album with another user, that user's own folder configuration is used to determine which of the owner's files are searched — allowing them to discover files (name, file ID, and other metadata) in folders the album owner never intended to include in the shared album. This requires the album owner to have shared a filter-based smart album with the attacker; it does not allow access to arbitrary users' files without such a share.

  • Sep 17, 2026Metacat is data repository software that helps researchers preserve, share, and discover data.CVE-2026-50022 · Other software · NCEAS · reported by GitHubMedium 5.8

Metacat is data repository software that helps researchers preserve, share, and discover data. Prior to 3.4.2, MetacatSolrIndex.query forwards the client-controlled qt parameter through Apache SolrJ from search endpoints such as /d1/mn/v2/query/solr/ to its privileged Solr backend. An unauthenticated client can select the /admin/file handler, and SolrJ reformats the parameter into a request accepted even when handleSelect=false is configured on Solr 7.0 or later. When Solr returns the selected core configuration file, Metacat embeds the raw content in an XML processing error response, disclosing internal files such as solrconfig.xml and enabling infrastructure profiling. This issue is fixed in version 3.4.2.

  • Sep 17, 2026MCP Documentation Server is a local-first document management and semantic search server for AI coding agents.CVE-2026-54504 · Other software · andrea9293 · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8

MCP Documentation Server is a local-first document management and semantic search server for AI coding agents. From 1.13.0 until 1.13.1, the automatically started Web UI in src/server.ts calls startWebServer in src/web-server.ts with START_WEB_UI enabled by default and WEB_PORT set to 3080. startWebServer uses app.listen(PORT) without a host, which binds the unauthenticated document-management API to all interfaces rather than localhost. A network-reachable client can invoke GET /api/documents, GET /api/documents/:id, POST /api/documents, POST /api/search-all, DELETE /api/documents/:id, and GET /api/config without credentials to enumerate and read documents, search the corpus, insert or delete documents, and tamper with the MCP assistant's knowledge base. The service must be reachable from the attacker's LAN, VM network, container bridge, VPN, or another routed network, and the issue does not provide remote code execution. This issue is fixed in 1.13.1.

  • Sep 17, 2026Initializing the DNS stub resolver from an /etc/resolv.conf file, or a LOCALDOMAIN environment variable, whose search list contains a domain of roughly 200 charCVE-2026-8674 · Other software · The GNU C Library · reported by 3ff69d7a-14f2-4f67-a097-88dee7810d18Medium 5.3

Initializing the DNS stub resolver from an /etc/resolv.conf file, or a LOCALDOMAIN environment variable, whose search list contains a domain of roughly 200 characters or more in the GNU C Library version 2.26 to 2.44 results in an assertion failure which aborts the process. The resolver truncates the search list when copying it into the fixed-size _res.defdname buffer, then asserts that the copy is consistent with the full configuration. The consistency check compared against the wrong size and did not handle a first entry that does not fit, so a correctly truncated list failed the assertion. Any process that resolves names through the library is affected, including long-running processes that reload /etc/resolv.conf on the next query after it changes. Search domains are commonly written to /etc/resolv.conf from data received over DHCP or from a VPN server, so an attacker on the local network may be able to trigger this without privileges on the target system, subject to validation by the network configuration software.

Concrete CMS before 9.5.3 exposed a legacy Express entry search endpoint that returned entry result JSON without invoking the canViewExpressEntries() permission check applied by the normal dashboard and CSV Export flow. An unauthenticated visitor who knew or discovered an Express entity identifier could enumerate that entity's entry search results, disclosing attribute values intended to be restricted to privileged users. For Express entities that do not support entry-specific permissions (i.e., supportsEntrySpecificPermissions() returns false), per-entry permission filtering is additionally disabled via EntryList::ignorePermissions(). The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 6.3 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N.
