  • Aug 26, 2026Stalwart Mail Server does not compare an OAuth redirect target against any registered destination in its default configuration.CVE-2026-81036 · Other software · stalwartlabs · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.5

Stalwart Mail Server does not compare an OAuth redirect target against any registered destination in its default configuration. The validation routine in crates/http/src/auth/oauth/registration.rs returns success immediately when the client-authentication requirement is disabled, and that requirement is false in the shipped settings, so the supplied redirect value is neither matched against a registered client nor otherwise constrained. The value is stored with the authorization code, and the login page reads it back and sends the browser to it with the code attached. A request naming a destination the attacker controls therefore delivers a valid authorization code there once the account holder authenticates, and because the token endpoint checks only that the redirect presented at exchange matches the one recorded with the code, the same party can exchange it for access and refresh tokens and read the account's mail.

  • Aug 26, 2026OpenMetadata accepts a caller-supplied post-authentication redirect target and appends the issued token to it.CVE-2026-81029 · Other software · open-metadata · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.5

OpenMetadata accepts a caller-supplied post-authentication redirect target and appends the issued token to it. SamlLoginServlet reads the callback request parameter and stores it in the HTTP session without comparing it against any configured or registered destination, and the assertion consumer servlet later formats that stored value into a URL carrying the freshly issued JWT together with the account's email and name before sending the redirect. The OIDC and OAuth2 handler follows the same pattern with its own redirect parameter and the issued identity token. A request naming a destination the attacker controls therefore causes the server to deliver a valid token for whoever completes the login to that destination. Because the token authenticates API calls as that account, a user who follows such a link and authenticates hands over control of their account. Version 2.0.0 removes the caller-supplied callback parameter; no 1.x release validates it.

  • Aug 25, 2026urllib is an HTTP client for Node.js that supports authentication, redirects, timeouts, and other request features.CVE-2026-55553 · Other software · node-modules · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5

urllib is an HTTP client for Node.js that supports authentication, redirects, timeouts, and other request features. Prior to 4.9.1 and 2.44.1, urllib follows redirects through followRedirect but reuses caller-supplied options across origins. In src/HttpClient.ts, #requestInternal recursively calls this.#requestInternal(nextUrl.href, options, requestContext), causing options.headers and auth or digestAuth values to be reused when the redirect target has a different scheme, host, or port. Authorization, Cookie, Proxy-Authorization, x-api-key, x-auth-token, and x-access-token can therefore be sent to an attacker-controlled redirected origin, exposing credentials intended for the original origin and potentially allowing reuse against the original partner API or related services. No user interaction is required. This issue is fixed in versions 2.44.1 and 4.9.1.

  • Aug 25, 2026Ech0 through 4.5.6 contains an OAuth redirect URI validation vulnerability in parseAndValidateClientRedirect (internal/service/auth/auth.go) that compares only CVE-2026-79662 · Other software · lin-snow · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.8

Ech0 through 4.5.6 contains an OAuth redirect URI validation vulnerability in parseAndValidateClientRedirect (internal/service/auth/auth.go) that compares only the scheme and host of the client-supplied redirect_uri against the admin-configured allowlist, ignoring path, query, and fragment components. The redirect_uri is embedded into the signed state JWT at login time without validation. An attacker can craft a redirect_uri whose host matches an allowed origin but whose path is attacker-influenced; after the OAuth exchange the victim is redirected to that path with a one-time exchange code in the query string. If the code leaks (e.g., via Referer, analytics, or an open redirect on that host), the attacker can trade it at the public POST /api/auth/exchange endpoint for the victim's access and refresh tokens. Fixed in 4.7.3.

  • Aug 24, 2026BetterLinks – Link Shortener, Link Cloaking, Redirects, Affiliate Link Manager & MCP: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-19801 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The BetterLinks – Link Shortener, Link Cloaking, Redirects, Affiliate Link Manager & MCP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.0. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to create arbitrary BetterLinks short URLs with attacker-controlled slugs and redirect destinations, enabling phishing and SEO abuse. Exploitation requires the Fluent Boards companion plugin to be installed and active (so that the FLUENT_BOARDS constant is defined), and is further facilitated by the betterlinks_admin_nonce nonce being emitted on every frontend page via wp_localize_script, making it accessible to any authenticated user.

  • Aug 24, 2026RustDesk's Windows clipboard redirection copies a peer-supplied length into a fixed-size caller buffer without an upper bound check.CVE-2026-76840 · Other software · rustdesk · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.5

RustDesk's Windows clipboard redirection copies a peer-supplied length into a fixed-size caller buffer without an upper bound check. When an OLE paste consumer such as explorer.exe calls IStream::Read with a buffer of cb bytes, CliprdrStream_Read in libs/clipboard/src/windows/wf_cliprdr.c requests that many bytes of a remote file through cliprdr_send_request_filecontents and then executes CopyMemory(pv, clipboard->req_fdata, clipboard->req_fsize), where req_fsize is taken verbatim from the peer's CLIPRDR FileContentsResponse by wf_cliprdr_server_file_contents_response (req_fsize = fileContentsResponse->cbRequested) and is never clamped to cb anywhere in the chain. The function's only length comparison, req_fsize < cb, handles the short-read case and is evaluated after the copy has already occurred. A malicious or compromised peer that answers a small file-contents read with an oversized response therefore writes attacker-chosen data past the end of the paste consumer's heap buffer when the local user pastes clipboard file contents offered by the remote side. The file is a fork of FreeRDP's client/Windows/wf_cliprdr.c, where the same defect is CVE-2026-68579, fixed in FreeRDP 3.30.0

  • Aug 19, 2026Punk::OAuth2 versions before 0.03 for Perl allow an attacker-chosen off-site redirect after login because same_origin_path accepts a backslash or tab in the retCVE-2026-75628 · Other software · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eMedium 5.7

Punk::OAuth2 versions before 0.03 for Perl allow an attacker-chosen off-site redirect after login because same_origin_path accepts a backslash or tab in the return parameter. oauth2_login reads the return parameter from the initiation request, runs same_origin_path over it, and stores the survivor in the session flow record as the post-login redirect target. That check rejects a value that does not begin with a slash, one with a slash as its second byte, and one containing CR or LF. A backslash and a tab pass. The URL Standard treats a backslash as equivalent to a slash for special schemes, so `/\evil.example` parses with the authority `evil.example`. It also strips ASCII tab before parsing, so a tab between two leading slashes leaves `//evil.example`. A crafted link to the application's own login route lands the victim on the attacker's site after a genuine authentication. The redirect carries no authorization code or access token.

The Grav API plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-api, bundled with Grav 2.0's admin-next/API stack) before version 1.0.14 contains an open redirect weakness in SsoController::sanitizeReturnTo(). The function rejects a literal '//' prefix but does not account for browsers normalizing backslashes to slashes in special (http/https) schemes, so a returnTo value such as '/\evil.com' passes the guard and is later resolved by the browser as the protocol-relative URL '//evil.com'. Following a legitimate OAuth login flow, an attacker-supplied returnTo parameter could redirect an authenticated victim to an attacker-controlled site for post-login phishing. Full browser-side exploitability depends on the admin-next SPA's client-side oauth-callback handler and was not independently verified by the reporter.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: do not send ICMP/NDISC Redirects when peer allocation fails When inet_getpeer_v4() or inet_getpeer_v6() fails to allocate a peer entry under memory pressure or tree size caps, redirect handlers previously fell back to sending un-rate-limited ICMP/NDISC Redirect messages. In IPv4, ip_rt_send_redirect() called icmp_send() directly when peer == NULL. In IPv6, ip6_forward() and ndisc_send_redirect() passed a NULL peer into inet_peer_xrlim_allow(), which returned true when peer == NULL. Because ICMP/NDISC Redirects are not part of the default global rate limit mask (sysctl_icmp_ratemask), sending redirects when peer == NULL creates an un-rate-limited ICMP packet storm. Fix this by failing closed in ip_rt_send_redirect(), ip6_forward(), and ndisc_send_redirect() when peer is NULL.

This has been broken since bpf_redirect() was introduced for TC in commit 27b29f63058d ("bpf: add bpf_redirect() helper"). We got lucky for a long time because bpf_net_context was a per-CPU variable that was always available. commit 401cb7dae813 ("net: Reference bpf_redirect_info via task_struct on PREEMPT_RT.") turned bpf_net_context into a task_struct member that is only set up by explicit callers. • Aug 10, 2026URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect') vulnerability in phoenixframework phoenix_live_view allows an attacker to send a victim's browser to an origCVE-2026-64941 · Other software · phoenixframework · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.1

URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect') vulnerability in phoenixframework phoenix_live_view allows an attacker to send a victim's browser to an origin of the attacker's choosing via a :to value containing ASCII tab, LF or CR. redirect/2 validates :to through the private validate_local_url!/2 in lib/phoenix_live_view.ex, which is intended to guarantee the target is a path within the application. It rejects a leading // and any backslash, but not ASCII tab, LF or CR. Browsers strip those three characters before parsing a URL, so a value such as /<TAB>/example.com passes validation as a path and is then resolved as the scheme-relative URL //example.com. The live navigation functions share the guard but are not affected, because the client expands their target against the current origin. push_patch/2 is also affected before 0.7.0, which is when that expansion was added. This issue affects phoenix_live_view: from 0.5.0 before 1.0.19, from 1.1.0-rc.0 before 1.1.33, and from 1.2.0-rc.0 before 1.2.9.

Tobit Laboratories AG TeamDavid's Webbox contains an open redirect vulnerability via the “replyUrl” parameter. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to craft a URL within the application that, when visited, redirects the user’s browser to an arbitrary third-party site. This can be abused for phishing attacks, where users receive a trusted domain link but are redirected to a phishing website. This issue affects TeamDavid before Rollout 528. Starting with Rollout 528 (June 30, 2026), the affected functionality is disabled by default and the vulnerabilities are therefore no longer exposed through this functionality.

  • Aug 7, 2026The Webbox of TeamDavid by Tobit Laboratories AG constructs redirect URLs using user-supplied input, which is appended to the redirect target in a 302 HTTP resCVE-2026-12071 · Other software · Tobit Laboratories AG · reported by vulnerability@ncsc.chMedium 5.3

The Webbox of TeamDavid by Tobit Laboratories AG constructs redirect URLs using user-supplied input, which is appended to the redirect target in a 302 HTTP response. By using URL-encoded characters such as “%2e” (representing a dot), an attacker can manipulate the portion of the URL following the top-level domain (TLD). If a similar, registerable TLD exists (for example, if “.com” is the application’s domain, and “.company” is available for registration), an attacker can craft a URL to redirect users to a malicious “.company” domain. By using URL-encoded line feeds, it becomes possible to insert arbitrary response headers in the server's HTTP response. This issue affects TeamDavid before Rollout 528. • Aug 6, 2026URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect') vulnerability in the HTML5 scrubber in rrrene html_sanitize_ex allows a remote attacker to force visitors ofCVE-2026-66829 · Other software · rrrene · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.3

URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect') vulnerability in the HTML5 scrubber in rrrene html_sanitize_ex allows a remote attacker to force visitors of a page to navigate to a site of the attacker's choosing via a <meta http-equiv="refresh"> element in sanitized HTML. HtmlSanitizeEx.html5/1 keeps attacker-supplied <meta> elements in its output. A meta element acts on the whole document rather than on the fragment it was embedded in, so it can also declare document-wide directives such as Content-Security-Policy. This is not cross-site scripting. Browsers do not navigate a meta refresh to a javascript: URL, so the uppercase JAVASCRIPT: filter bypass yields no script execution and none was demonstrated. This issue affects html_sanitize_ex: from 0.3.1 before 1.4.5 and from 1.5.0-rc.0 before 1.5.3.

URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect') vulnerability in the HTML5 scrubber in rrrene html_sanitize_ex allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to retarget a form already on the rendering page and receive whatever the victim submits, including credentials, via the form and formaction attributes on an <input> element in sanitized HTML. HTML's form attribute associates an input with any form on the page by its id even when the input sits outside that form, and formaction on a submit control overrides the owning form's action. Neither attribute receives a scheme check, so an absolute cross-origin URL survives sanitizing. No script executes. The scrubber allows neither form nor button, so the attacker cannot introduce a form of their own and the rendering page must already contain a form carrying an id. This issue affects html_sanitize_ex: from 0.3.1 before 1.4.5 and from 1.5.0-rc.0 before 1.5.3.

The Grav form plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-form) before 9.1.13 contains an open redirect vulnerability. Since v9.1.11, the redirect process action evaluates user-supplied form data inside Twig expressions, and Grav::redirect() accepts external URLs without origin validation. guzzlehttp/guzzle versions before 7.15.1 contain an information disclosure vulnerability in RedirectMiddleware. When the optional allow_redirects.referer setting is enabled, the middleware copies the URI fragment (the portion after '#') from the referring request into the generated Referer header when following a same-scheme redirect (e.g., HTTPS to HTTPS). An attacker who controls the redirect destination can read this fragment from the incoming Referer header, potentially disclosing one-time login secrets, access tokens, state values, or other sensitive client data to a server never meant to receive it. The referer setting is disabled by default. Fixed in 7.15.1, which strips the fragment before generating the Referer value.

better-auth before 1.6.13 (and pre-release builds 1.7.0-beta.0 through 1.7.0-beta.3) fail to validate the scheme of redirect_uris registered via the deprecated oidc-provider plugin and the mcp plugin (which wraps the same provider). An attacker can register an OAuth client with a javascript: redirect_uri, which the authorization server later returns unchanged in the consent response. If the deployment's consent page navigates the browser to the returned redirectURI (e.g. assigning it to window.location.href), the attacker's JavaScript executes in the authorization-server origin, exposing the victim's session and enabling account takeover.

When a malicious or compromised RDP server sends a StartStreamsRequest with FrameRateDenominator set to zero, ecam_encoder_context_init() (channels/rdpecam/client/encoding.c) computes FrameRateNumerator / FrameRateDenominator, causing an integer division by zero (SIGFPE) and termination of the FreeRDP client process.
