  • Jul 24, 2026Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content: Does not consistently enforce the role restriction configured on its front-end registration role-selection fieldCVE-2026-12497 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanHigh 7.5

The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content WordPress plugin before 4.16.18 does not consistently enforce the role restriction configured on its front-end registration role-selection field. The set of roles offered to the visitor and the set of roles the registration handler accepts are derived by two different parsers, and for some valid ways of configuring the offered roles the handler ignores the restriction and falls back to accepting any non-administrator role. Combined with the absence of a nonce on the public registration handler, this allows an unauthenticated visitor to register an account with a higher role, such as Editor or Author, than the form was configured to offer.

  • Jul 22, 2026The Grav Login plugin (grav-plugin-login) versions <= 3.8.11 contain a privilege escalation flaw in the authenticated profile self-update handler (processUserPrCVE-2026-65603 · Other software · getgrav · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7

The Grav Login plugin (grav-plugin-login) versions <= 3.8.11 contain a privilege escalation flaw in the authenticated profile self-update handler (processUserProfile(), the update_user task). Unlike the registration handler, this handler does not strip privilege fields ('groups','access') from user-submitted form data before persisting them. When an administrator has added 'groups' and/or 'access' to plugins.login.user_registration.fields and the default 'regular'/DataUser account backend is in use, a low-privilege authenticated user can POST crafted profile form data (e.g. access[admin][super]=true) to escalate to super-admin, enabling admin panel access, scheduler abuse (RCE), and Twig evaluation. Fixed in 3.8.12.

  • Jul 21, 2026An access control bypass and information disclosure vulnerability exists in the base AppArmor security profile configuration of Canonical snapd.CVE-2024-5300 · Other software · Canonical · reported by security@ubuntu.comMedium 5.6

An access control bypass and information disclosure vulnerability exists in the base AppArmor security profile configuration of Canonical snapd. The abstraction rules located in /etc/apparmor.d/abstractions/nss-systemd (inherited via ) inadvertently permit strictly confined snap applications, which lack the privileged account-control interface, to interact directly with the io.systemd.Multiplexer and io.systemd.NameServiceSwitch UNIX domain sockets under /run/systemd/userdb/. On systems where the systemd-userdbd service is installed and operational, the service fails to distinguish between an unconfined root user on the host system and a restricted root user running within a snap application's sandbox (such as a daemon or configuration hook). Because systemd-userdbd returns "complete" user records—including sensitive hashed user passwords from /etc/shadow—when queried by a process running as root, a compromised or malicious strictly confined snap executing code as root can successfully query the Varlink interface to retrieve all system password hashes, bypassing intended snap sandbox restrictions. This issue is mitigated by the fact that systemd-userdbd is not installed by default

  • Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: cfg80211: advance loop vars in cfg80211_merge_profile() cfg80211_merge_profile() reaCVE-2026-64174 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: cfg80211: advance loop vars in cfg80211_merge_profile() cfg80211_merge_profile() reassembles a Multi-BSSID non-transmitted BSS profile that has been split across multiple consecutive MBSSID elements. Its while-loop calls cfg80211_get_profile_continuation(ie, ielen, mbssid_elem, sub_elem) but never advances mbssid_elem or sub_elem inside the body. Each iteration therefore searches for a continuation that follows the same fixed pair; the helper returns the same next_mbssid; and the same next_sub bytes are memcpy()'d into merged_ie at a growing offset until the buffer fills. Advance both mbssid_elem and sub_elem to the just-consumed continuation so the next call to cfg80211_get_profile_continuation() searches for a further continuation beyond it (or returns NULL when none exists). A specially-crafted malicious beacon can take advantage of this bug to cause the kernel to spend an excessive amount of time in cfg80211_merge_profile (up to as much as 2ms per beacon received), which could theoretically be abused in some way.

The destination is kmemdup()'d at NET_DIM_PARAMS_NUM_PROFILES entries (5), but the Netlink nest count is entirely user-controlled. • Jul 19, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: apparmor: fix use-after-free in rawdata dedup loop aa_replace_profiles() walks ns->rawdataCVE-2026-63827 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: apparmor: fix use-after-free in rawdata dedup loop aa_replace_profiles() walks ns->rawdata_list to dedup the incoming policy blob against entries already attached to existing profiles. Per the kernel-doc on struct aa_loaddata, list membership does not hold a reference: profiles hold pcount, and when the last pcount drops, do_ploaddata_rmfs() is queued on a workqueue that takes ns->lock and removes the entry. Between dropping the last pcount and the workqueue running, an entry remains on the list with pcount == 0. aa_get_profile_loaddata() is an unconditional kref_get() on pcount, so when the dedup loop hits such an entry, refcount hardening reports refcount_t: addition on 0; use-after-free. inside aa_replace_profiles(), and the poisoned counter then trips "saturated" and "underflow" warnings on the subsequent uses of the same loaddata. Before commit a0b7091c4de4 ("apparmor: fix race on rawdata dereference") the dedup path used a get_unless_zero-style helper on a single counter, so the existing "if (tmp)" guard was meaningful. The split-refcount refactor introduced aa_get_profile_loaddata(), which has plain

  • Jul 17, 2026Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress: Arbitrary File UploadCVE-2026-13352 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.18 via the allowed_mime_types function. This is due to the unconditional registration of an upload_mimes filter that adds executable file extensions (.exe, .apk, .msi) to the global WordPress MIME allowlist, without scoping the expansion to digital-product upload contexts. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. This filter is registered globally on every request regardless of whether the digital products feature is configured or in use, meaning the expanded MIME allowlist affects all WordPress upload contexts site-wide.

The Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to blind SQL Injection via the search parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.10.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. • Jul 9, 2026User Frontend: AI Powered Frontend Posting, User Directory, Profile, Membership & User Registration: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-12418 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The User Frontend: AI Powered Frontend Posting, User Directory, Profile, Membership & User Registration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 4.3.7 via the 'wpuf_files_data' parameter due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to overwrite the post_title, post_content, and post_excerpt of any arbitrary post on the site, including posts authored by administrators. Exploitation requires access to any WPUF post submission form; this is achievable by users with no WordPress role, as the wpuf_submit_post AJAX action is gated only by a nonce with no capability check for the downstream post-edit operation.

  • Jul 9, 2026User Frontend: AI Powered Frontend Posting, User Directory, Profile, Membership & User Registration: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-12406 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 5.3

The User Frontend: AI Powered Frontend Posting, User Directory, Profile, Membership & User Registration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.3.7. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary media attachments whose post_author is 0, such as guest and registration-form uploads, via the wpuf_file_del AJAX action. This is exploitable by unauthenticated visitors on any site where a WPUF shortcode is rendered on a front-end page, as this causes the valid wpuf_nonce value to be localized into publicly accessible JavaScript objects (wpuf_upload and wpuf_frontend), satisfying the sole access control gate.

  • Jul 7, 2026DBI versions before 1.650 for Perl are vulnerable to code injection via caller-influenced Profile.CVE-2026-14380 · Other software · Perl · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eHigh 8.8

DBI versions before 1.650 for Perl are vulnerable to code injection via caller-influenced Profile. When a string is assigned to a DBI handle's Profile attribute, DBI splits it into path, package and arguments, and interpolates the package part in a string eval with no validation of the package name. Any caller-influenced value that reaches the Profile attribute is therefore arbitrary Perl code execution, including calls to run system commands. The Profile attribute can be set from three different sources that can carry untrusted data: the DBI_PROFILE environment variable, a direct attribute assignment, and a DSN driver-attribute clause dbi:Driver(Profile=>SPEC):db. An attacker controlling any of those inputs runs arbitrary Perl in the host process. The strongest remote position is a network-exposed DBI::Gofer / DBI::ProxyServer whose per-request DSN reaches the Profile attribute, letting a client execute code on the broker host.

  • Jul 1, 2026MCO does not properly enforce authorization checks in the /customer/servlet/mco/webapi/profile-sections/group-membership endpoint.CVE-2026-53902 · Other software · MyComplianceOffice · reported by cvd@cert.plHigh 7.1

MCO does not properly enforce authorization checks in the /customer/servlet/mco/webapi/profile-sections/group-membership endpoint. An authenticated user can modify their group membership without proper authorization checks, allowing privilege escalation. An attacker can add themselves to arbitrary groups by supplying a valid group ID, which can be obtained via other application functionalities (e.g. /customer/servlet/mco/webapi/group/picker/groups), provided he has necessary permissions, or potentially inferred through brute-force techniques. Because vendor contact attempts were unsuccessful, the vulnerability has only been confirmed in version 25.3.3.1 but may also affect other versions.

Hermes WebUI before 0.51.521 validates the workspace of an imported session under the active named profile but constructs the Session object without setting its profile in the /api/session/import handler, so the imported session is persisted with a null profile. Because a null profile is treated as the default profile by the profile authorization check, a user on the default profile can export the imported session transcript and use its session identifier to read files from the named profile's workspace, defeating the application's profile isolation.

  • Jun 30, 2026ProfileGrid – User Profiles, Groups and Communities: Privilege escalationCVE-2026-12073 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The ProfileGrid – User Profiles, Groups and Communities plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation via account takeover in all versions up to, and including, 5.9.9.5. This is due to the plugin not validating a `user_login` on registration forms that don't contain this parameter, and not properly handling the error messages. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to change email address of user account with ID=1 (usually an administrator), and leverage that to reset the user's password and gain access to their account.

  • Jun 28, 2026The Zephyr Bluetooth LE Audio Basic Audio Profile (BAP) unicast client mishandles peer-supplied ASE state notifications.CVE-2026-10593 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgMedium 6.5

The Zephyr Bluetooth LE Audio Basic Audio Profile (BAP) unicast client mishandles peer-supplied ASE state notifications. In unicast_client_ep_qos_state() (subsys/bluetooth/audio/bap_unicast_client.c), the handler writes attacker-controlled QoS fields (interval, framing, phy, sdu, rtn, latency, pd) through the stream->qos pointer with only a stream != NULL guard. stream->qos is NULL for any stream that has been codec-configured via bt_bap_stream_config() but not yet added to a unicast group (it is set only by unicast_group_add_stream()). A malicious or buggy remote ASCS server, to which the local device is connected as a BAP unicast client, can send a GATT notification announcing the ASE has entered the QoS Configured state while the local endpoint is still in the Codec Configured state — a transition the dispatcher explicitly permits — during that window, causing a write through a NULL pointer and a crash (denial of service). The data written is itself remote-controlled. The defect shipped in v4.3.0 and v4.4.0 (and earlier). The fix re-points all BAP QoS storage to the always-valid embedded ep->qos struct, eliminating the NULL dereference.
