  • Oct 19, 2026The SCIM endpoint does not sufficiently validate authorization for federated users when performing operations against the local user store.CVE-2025-10149 · Other software · WSO2 · reported by ed10eef1-636d-4fbe-9993-6890dfa878f8High 8.2

The SCIM endpoint does not sufficiently validate authorization for federated users when performing operations against the local user store. This occurs when a local and a federated user share the same username, allowing a federated user to perform actions intended for a local user, including arbitrary operations. A malicious actor authenticated as a federated user may perform arbitrary operations on local user accounts via the SCIM 2.0 or SCIM 1.1 endpoints when local and federated users share the same username. This could lead to user account takeover. Deployments that do not support user self-registration are considered medium severity.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: blk-mq: set RQF_USE_SCHED when the operation is known The cached requests are allocated for one operation but can be handed out for another. A passthrough command has RQF_USE_SCHED cleared, so using those flags for a subsequent read/write bio will insert it into the scheduler without ->prepare_request() and frees it without ->finish_request(). For kyber, this leaks the domain token acquired at dispatch and stalls the queue. Don't set RQF_USE_SCHED based on the first operation the batch happened to be allocated for. Instead, set it after the request is claimed by an operation. Introduce a helper function, blk_mq_rq_late_init() for this, and absorb blk_mq_rq_time_init() since the two run together.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: gyro: adis16136: fix unprotected debugfs reads The serial_number file operations are open coded and never call debugfs_file_get(), which debugfs_create_file_unsafe() requires. debugfs_remove_recursive() therefore does not wait for a read in progress, and unbind frees the iio_dev underneath it. • Oct 16, 2026RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems.CVE-2026-49868 · Other software · RIOT-OS · reported by GitHubCritical 9.8

RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems. Prior to 2026.07, _parse_reply() in sys/net/application_layer/dhcpv6/client.c omits minimum-length validation before passing IA_PD and IA_NA option bodies to sub-option parsers. A malicious or compromised DHCPv6 server can send a REPLY with an option length smaller than the required structure while MODULE_DHCPV6_CLIENT_IA_PD is enabled, causing _parse_ia_pd_option to read past the option body, size_t underflow, and unbounded out-of-bounds heap reads that can crash the device and may expose or corrupt memory. • Oct 16, 2026RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems.CVE-2026-102693 · Other software · RIOT-OS · reported by GitHubCritical 9.6

RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems. Prior to 2026.04, the ATWINC15x0 driver's _atwinc15x0_sta_set_current_ssid function uses strcpy to copy an SSID without checking the destination size. When MODULE_ATWINC15X0_DYNAMIC_CONNECT is enabled, a nearby attacker can advertise a malformed or oversized SSID that is processed during Wi-Fi scanning, causing memory corruption and potentially a hard fault, denial of service, or code execution. • Oct 16, 2026RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems.CVE-2026-102692 · Other software · RIOT-OS · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems. Prior to 2026.07, nanocoap accepts oversized CoAP Block2 option values without enforcing the 20-bit maximum block number, allowing block offset multiplication to overflow on 32-bit targets. The affected master baseline is commit aeeae69e; the verified fix is later on master and remains unreleased. The oversized value passes from coap_get_blockopt() to coap_block_slicer_init(). A remote CoAP client can send a malformed Block2 option that produces an invalid slice range and can cause out-of-bounds memory access, denial of service, or memory corruption. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026.07.

  • Oct 16, 2026Improper path containment check in ikus060 rdiffweb 7.1.1 allows an authenticated user to cause the browse, restore, history and delete operations to resolve toCVE-2026-109118 · Other software · ikus-soft · reported by cve@gitlab.comMedium 4.6

Improper path containment check in ikus060 rdiffweb 7.1.1 allows an authenticated user to cause the browse, restore, history and delete operations to resolve to a path outside the repository being operated on, via a percent-encoded traversal sequence (%2e%2e) in the request path, because the containment check uses a string prefix comparison (startswith) instead of a filesystem path boundary check. The target must be a sibling path whose name begins with the repository path, and the user already hold permissions on it; the issue can mislead a user into operating on, or deleting, data other than the repository displayed

  • Oct 15, 2026A flaw was found in the internal WebAssembly (WASM) shim used by the Kuadrant operator.CVE-2026-108334 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 7.4

A flaw was found in the internal WebAssembly (WASM) shim used by the Kuadrant operator. When generating the CEL predicate that determines whether Gateway-level authentication and rate limiting should run, the shim does not correctly escape values from HTTPRoute match fields. A user who can create or modify an HTTPRoute attached to a shared Gateway can provide a crafted path, header, or query match value that causes the predicate to skip those checks. • Oct 15, 2026An unauthenticated remote attacker can bypass authentication and gain full access to administrative API endpoints in Nutanix Prism Element by including a crafteCVE-2026-84731 · Other software · Nutanix · reported by 2ffdacf6-8681-47df-b023-4f11abd61c1dCritical 9.3

An unauthenticated remote attacker can bypass authentication and gain full access to administrative API endpoints in Nutanix Prism Element by including a crafted internal management HTTP header. The vulnerability is caused by a misconfiguration in the application's authentication filters. Consequently, the server responds with a Set-Cookie header containing a valid JSESSIONID. This session cookie decodes to a JSON Web Token (JWT) granting maximum cluster administrative privileges. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute root-level commands on all Controller VMs (CVMs) in the cluster, leading to complete cluster destruction and unauthorized access to VM memory and virtual disks.

  • Oct 15, 2026OpenPrinting CUPS is an open source printing system for Linux and other Unix-like operating systems.CVE-2026-61702 · Other software · OpenPrinting · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3

OpenPrinting CUPS is an open source printing system for Linux and other Unix-like operating systems. Prior to 2.4.20, copy_banner() in scheduler/ipp.c uses the attacker-controlled IPP attributes-natural-language value as a directory component beneath DataDir/banners when processing a job-sheets banner. The job-sheets value must first match a registered banner basename, and the traversed path must contain a matching reachable basename; selecting an arbitrary target as demonstrated additionally requires pre-positioned path state such as a symlink with that basename. Subject to the scheduler's filesystem and sandbox access, path separators in the language value can escape the intended banner directory, make the root scheduler open the reachable file, and copy its bytes into a job-sheet spool object that a configured backend can deliver to an attacker-observable endpoint. This issue is fixed in version 2.4.20.

  • Oct 15, 2026OpenPrinting CUPS is an open source printing system for Linux and other Unix-like operating systems.CVE-2026-55480 · Other software · OpenPrinting · reported by GitHubMedium 5.7

OpenPrinting CUPS is an open source printing system for Linux and other Unix-like operating systems. Prior to 2.4.20, copy_model() in scheduler/ipp.c creates a predictable TempDir/<connection-number>.ppd path in an lp-group-writable directory and opens it as root without O_EXCL or O_NOFOLLOW. Exploitation requires an lp-group process able to write that directory to predict the connection-derived name and plant a symlink before the root open, while a privileged add-printer or modify-printer operation using a model PPD triggers copy_model(). The reporter treats an existing lp foothold and the privileged operation as distinct prerequisites, while the maintainer assesses high privileges because installing the relevant filter or administering the printer requires root or print-administrator access. If the race succeeds, the root scheduler follows the symlink and truncates or overwrites a root-writable target with generated PPD data, compromising file integrity or availability. This issue is fixed in version 2.4.20.

  • Oct 15, 2026OpenPrinting CUPS is an open source printing system for Linux and other Unix-like operating systems.CVE-2026-55467 · Other software · OpenPrinting · reported by GitHubLow 2.5

OpenPrinting CUPS is an open source printing system for Linux and other Unix-like operating systems. Prior to 2.4.20, the cupsdCreateJob option-string builder in scheduler/job.c maps attacker-controlled destination-uri and pre-dial-string values from a configured fax queue to the phone and faxPrefix options. Unlike ordinary IPP job attributes, these mapped fax values bypass the control-character sanitizer and are copied directly into the filter options argument. A user permitted to submit a job can therefore inject control characters into the downstream option stream. The reporter states that a downstream fax filter passing these values to a shell or modem command could execute code as lp, while the maintainer states that CUPS has no confidentiality or integrity impact because the only known code-executing filter is optional Foomatic and addressed separately, leaving possible disruption of the affected queue. This issue is fixed in version 2.4.20.

  • Oct 15, 2026OpenPrinting CUPS is an open source printing system for Linux and other Unix-like operating systems.CVE-2026-55453 · Other software · OpenPrinting · reported by GitHubLow 3.3

OpenPrinting CUPS is an open source printing system for Linux and other Unix-like operating systems. Prior to 2.4.20, the backend/ipp.c quote_string() function preserves carriage-return and line-feed characters in a remote printer-controlled marker-message before report_attr() writes the value to the scheduler status stream. The scheduler can parse an injected newline as a separate PPD: control line and persist an attacker-selected PPD keyword. The reporter demonstrated that a later print job on a Foomatic-backed queue could consume an injected FoomaticRIPCommandLine value and execute in the filter context as lp. This issue is fixed in version 2.4.20.

A flaw was found in Ansible Operator Plugins. A low-privileged Kubernetes user can exploit a Jinja2 template injection vulnerability by crafting malicious custom resource (CR) specification values. These values are processed by Ansible without proper sanitization, allowing embedded Jinja2 expressions to be executed within the operator pod. This can lead to arbitrary code execution and privilege escalation, granting the attacker control over the operator's service account with cluster-wide permissions.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. From 3.9.0 until 3.22.0, pristine manual FileRise installations without PERSISTENT_TOKENS_KEY or metadata/persistent_tokens.key can activate a published legacy compatibility key. If an attacker separately obtains ciphertext-bearing account or configuration files, the known fallback key can enable decryption of TOTP secrets or credentials. FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.16.0, FileRise treats an empty or missing users.txt file as a fresh installation even after setup previously completed. If storage loss, truncation, or another failure empties the user store, an unauthenticated remote caller can detect that setup mode reopened and create the next initial administrator account through the setup flow. The application lacked a durable setup-complete marker independent of the mutable user store. This issue is fixed in version 3.16.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.16.0, FileRise archive extraction does not apply UploadNamePolicy::isAllowedForWrite() before ZipArchive::extractTo() writes entries into the destination directory. An authenticated user with upload and extract permissions can place a blocked extension such as a PHP-family file inside a ZIP and cause it to be written to disk even when normal uploads reject that filename. Post-extraction metadata pruning does not remove the blocked file, so deployments that execute uploaded content may permit code execution. This issue is fixed in version 3.16.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.16.0, when an administrator has enabled WebDAV, FileRise WebDAV Basic authentication validates only the account username and password through AuthModel::authenticate() and does not enforce the account's configured TOTP factor. An attacker who knows valid primary credentials for a TOTP-enabled account can authenticate to the enabled WebDAV service without supplying the second factor and exercise the account's WebDAV file permissions. The browser login path enforces TOTP, but the separate public/webdav.php authentication callback did not. This issue is fixed in version 3.16.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.16.0, FileRise deployments with AUTH_BYPASS enabled trust the configured reverse-proxy identity header without verifying that the request originated from FR_TRUSTED_PROXIES. When the backend application port is reachable directly, an unauthenticated attacker can supply X-Remote-User and obtain a session for the asserted account, including an administrator account, without a password or MFA. The flaw is limited to deployments that enable proxy-header authentication and expose an untrusted path to the backend. This issue is fixed in version 3.16.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.24.0, FileRise Pro /api/pro/portals/get.php returns a configured client portal's full internal record to an unauthenticated caller who knows or guesses the portal slug. The response includes the internal storage folder path, client contact email, form settings, and upload-policy details, while the separate publicMeta.php endpoint intentionally exposes only curated branding data. Exploitation requires the Pro add-on and at least one configured portal. This issue is fixed in version 3.24.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.23.0, FileRise validates archive entry names but extracts them directly into the authorized live destination before validating resolved paths. If that destination already contains a symlink to a directory outside the storage root, an authenticated non-administrator with extract permission who can upload or otherwise place an attacker-controlled ZIP in that folder can place an ordinary archive entry beneath the link. ZipArchive::extractTo() can then overwrite an external file, and post-extraction cleanup can delete that target through the same linked parent, only where the FileRise process has the required filesystem write or removal permission. The advisory does not establish that the attacker can create the prerequisite symlink through FileRise. This issue is fixed in version 3.23.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.23.0, FileRise maps an authenticated OIDC identity to a local account using mutable preferred_username or email claims and does not require email_verified for email-based naming. An attacker who can obtain provider-issued claims colliding with an existing local username can be logged in as that account, including the built-in administrator, even when automatic provisioning is disabled. Exploitability depends on the configured identity provider allowing the colliding claim. This issue is fixed in version 3.23.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. In FileRise 3.22.0, the /api/file/saveFile.php operation accepts dot and dot-dot segments in its attacker-controlled folder input before ACL inheritance evaluates the uncanonicalized string. With an authenticated non-administrator session, a valid CSRF token, and inherited edit permission on a legitimate ancestor, the local filesystem or WebDAV adapter later resolves those segments as path navigation, permitting attacker-controlled file creation outside the authorized folder and, where backend credentials permit, outside the configured WebDAV root. Local storage also created directories before final containment validation and used a prefix comparison that accepted similarly named sibling roots. This issue is fixed in version 3.23.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.23.0, FileRise permits an authenticated session with a valid CSRF token to disable TOTP without recent full reauthentication or to begin enrollment when the account currently has no TOTP secret. The enrollment endpoint returns 409 rather than directly overwriting an already configured secret, but it persists and activates a newly generated secret before a TOTP code verifies possession. An attacker controlling an existing authenticated session can therefore disable an existing second factor or enroll one after the account has no configured secret; this is not a direct overwrite of an active authenticator. This issue is fixed in version 3.23.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.23.0, FileRise verifies that a TOTP code is valid for the accepted time window but does not record that the same account and time step already succeeded. An attacker who has the target account's valid primary credential and captures a TOTP code after its successful use can replay that code from another pending-login session before the window closes. The issue does not by itself disclose the primary credential or TOTP code. This issue is fixed in version 3.23.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.23.0, FileRise /api/folder/renameFolder.php authorizes an authenticated, non-folder-scoped, non-administrator with a valid CSRF token against the source folder but does not independently authorize a changed destination parent. A qualifying user who owns a source folder can move that tree beneath another user's existing folder or into the root namespace, and the operation rekeys the moved ownership and ACL records to the new path. The destination must be unused and existing victim files cannot be overwritten. Distinct pre-fix errors reveal whether a specifically guessed destination path exists, but disclose no directory listing or file contents. This issue is fixed in version 3.23.0.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.23.0, FileRise stores failed TOTP verification attempts in $_SESSION. An attacker who already possesses a target account's valid primary credential can restart the login workflow in a new session and restore the second-factor attempt allowance, permitting continued online TOTP guessing beyond the intended five-attempt limit. FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.15.0, FileRise public shared-folder links with subfolder browsing enabled can follow a symbolic link inside the shared folder to a sibling directory under the upload root. An unauthenticated holder of a valid share token can use shared-folder listing, direct download, or ZIP creation to access files outside the folder that was actually shared. The flaw occurs because the affected shared-folder paths resolve symlinks without enforcing the original shared folder as the real-path boundary. This issue is fixed in version 3.15.0.

  • Oct 14, 2026Stirling-PDF is a locally hosted web application that facilitates various operations on PDF files.CVE-2026-85714 · Other software · Stirling-Tools · reported by GitHubCritical 9.1

Stirling-PDF is a locally hosted web application that facilitates various operations on PDF files. Prior to 2.13.2, an authenticated administrator using the default H2 database and security mode can upload a crafted SQL file to POST /api/v1/database/import-database. DatabaseService.validateSqlContent() splits normalized input on semicolons and accepts a statement when it contains any allowed keyword, allowing dangerous H2 functions such as FILE_READ and CSVWRITE, plus CREATE ALIAS, to bypass the insufficient whitelist and execute side effects when RUNSCRIPT processes the file. This permits arbitrary file access. The demonstrated operating-system command execution chain writes attacker-controlled startup files to a user-site location and then triggers an application Python interpreter configured to load those startup files, resulting in command execution as the JVM service account. This issue is fixed in version 2.13.2.
