Oct 8, 2026msgpack5 is a msgpack v5 implementation for node.js and the browser.CVE-2026-107299 · Other software · mcollina · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9
msgpack5 is a msgpack v5 implementation for node.js and the browser. Prior to 6.1.0, the streaming decoder treats the reserved MessagePack byte 0xc1 as incomplete input instead of invalid input. When 0xc1 begins a stream, subsequent data remains buffered while the decoder waits for bytes that cannot make the value valid, allowing a remote peer to exhaust memory. This issue is fixed in version 6.1.0.

Oct 8, 2026msgpack5 is a msgpack v5 implementation for node.js and the browser.CVE-2026-107298 · Other software · mcollina · reported by GitHubMedium 5.3
msgpack5 is a msgpack v5 implementation for node.js and the browser. Prior to 6.1.0, the array and map decoding paths have no nesting-depth limit, allowing an attacker who can provide MessagePack input to submit deeply nested containers that exhaust the JavaScript call stack and interrupt a process, worker, or request handler. This issue is fixed in version 6.1.0.

Oct 8, 2026msgpack5 is a msgpack v5 implementation for node.js and the browser.CVE-2026-107297 · Other software · mcollina · reported by GitHubMedium 5.9
msgpack5 is a msgpack v5 implementation for node.js and the browser. Prior to 6.1.0, the streaming decoder reparses an incomplete array or map from the beginning whenever another chunk arrives. A remote peer can split one valid MessagePack container across many small chunks, causing completed elements to be decoded repeatedly, producing quadratic CPU use and blocking the event loop. This issue is fixed in version 6.1.0.

Oct 8, 2026msgpack5 is a msgpack v5 implementation for node.js and the browser.CVE-2026-107296 · Other software · mcollina · reported by GitHubLow 3.7
msgpack5 is a msgpack v5 implementation for node.js and the browser. Prior to 6.1.0, decoding a negative signed 64-bit integer modifies the corresponding bytes in the caller-provided input buffer while computing the value. Applications that retain or reuse encoded input for integrity checks, logging, or later processing can observe silently corrupted data, while positive integers and other MessagePack value types are unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 6.1.0.

Uncontrolled recursion in XMLNode::ParseXMLElement() and XMLNode::emptyTheNode() in the bundled XML parser (ofstd/libsrc/ofxml.cc) of OFFIS DCMTK 3.7.0 allows an attacker to cause a denial of service (stack exhaustion and process crash) via a crafted XML document with deeply nested elements. The parser is reachable through dcmencap when encapsulating a CDA document, and through any application that calls OFXMLParser::parseFile() or OFXMLParser::parseString() on untrusted input. Oct 6, 2026Mozilla's Node-convict (version 6.2.2 and later) is vulnerable to a Denial of Service vulnerability caused by incomplete prototype‑pollution protections in confCVE-2026-106550 · Computers, phones & browsers · Mozilla · reported by cret@cert.orgHigh 7.5
Mozilla's Node-convict (version 6.2.2 and later) is vulnerable to a Denial of Service vulnerability caused by incomplete prototype‑pollution protections in config.set(). An attacker controlling the configuration key can write arbitrary properties to constructor.<key>, which walk() resolves to the global Object function. This allows overwriting core JavaScript methods such as Object.assign, leading to persistent process-wide failures and requiring a restart. The issue bypasses existing filters that only block constructor.prototype.* and __proto__.*. Exploitation requires an endpoint that forwards attacker-controlled keys into config.set().

Oct 6, 2026The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes.CVE-2026-106123 · Other software · rabbitmq · reported by GitHubMedium 5.7
The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.35.0, ConnectionFactoryConfigurator.load() includes the raw uri value in wrapped exceptions when AMQP URI parsing fails. Because the URI may contain a plaintext username and password, startup logs, application performance monitoring systems, CI logs, and copied stack traces can disclose broker credentials to users who should not have access to them. Oct 6, 2026The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes.CVE-2026-106122 · Other software · rabbitmq · reported by GitHubMedium 6
The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.36.0, ValueReader.readShortstr decodes malformed UTF-8 bytes into replacement characters that can re-encode beyond the AMQP shortstr limit enforced by ValueWriter.writeShortstr. An attacker who can submit an RPC message with a malformed echoed property can cause reply publication in RpcServer.mainloop() or tutorial-style consumers to throw an unchecked exception before acknowledgement. The broker requeues the message, allowing the same message to disable replacement consumers until the queue is purged. This issue is fixed in version 5.36.0.

Oct 6, 2026The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes.CVE-2026-106121 · Other software · rabbitmq · reported by GitHubMedium 4.9
The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.37.0, com.rabbitmq.tools.json.JSONReader.read() fails to terminate when input ends inside a quoted string or a line comment because its string and whitespace scanners do not stop at CharacterIterator.DONE. The default DefaultJsonRpcMapper passes JSON-RPC message bodies to this parser for JsonRpcServer and client replies. A truncated string causes the parser to append replacement end markers until heap exhaustion, while a line comment without a terminating newline can keep a thread consuming CPU indefinitely, resulting in denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 5.37.0.

Oct 6, 2026i18next-http-backend is a backend layer for i18next that loads translation resources in Node.js, browsers, and Deno.CVE-2026-105800 · Other software · i18next · reported by GitHubLow 3.7
i18next-http-backend is a backend layer for i18next that loads translation resources in Node.js, browsers, and Deno. Prior to 4.0.2, attacker-controlled language or namespace values interpolated into a custom loadPath or addPath that begins directly with {{lng}} or {{ns}} can make colon-based input become an absolute URL or, in browsers, make a double-slash namespace become a protocol-relative URL. The resulting request can leave the intended origin and cause URL injection or server-side request forgery. The default /locales/{{lng}}/{{ns}}.json template and templates with a leading path or origin are not affected because the placeholder does not occupy the URL's structural beginning. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.2.

Oct 5, 2026adm-zip is a JavaScript library for creating and extracting ZIP archives in Node.js.CVE-2026-102282 · Other software · cthackers · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
adm-zip is a JavaScript library for creating and extracting ZIP archives in Node.js. Prior to 0.6.1, adm-zip applies the Unix permission bits stored in a zip entry directly to the extracted file via `fs.chmodSync()` when `keepOriginalPermission=true` is passed to `extractAllTo()`/`extractEntryTo()` — and it never filters the setuid/setgid/sticky bits out of those bits. A zip crafted by an attacker can therefore produce an extracted binary with mode `04755`. When extraction runs as root (the default posture in Docker builds, CI runners, and privileged install steps — the exact environments where this flag is used), the resulting root-owned setuid file is executed later by a lesser-privileged user, turning the attacker's code into a root execution. Version 0.6.1 fixes the issue.

In Bouncy Castle for Java before 1.86, the Messaging Layer Security (MLS, RFC 9420) implementation did not bind an X.509 credential to a LeafNode's signature_key. LeafNode.verify() checked a leaf's signature against the signature_key carried in the leaf itself, while the credential's X.509 certificate chain was stored but never parsed or validated, so the end-entity certificate's public key was never required to match signature_key as RFC 9420 sec. 5.3 requires. A party could therefore present another party's certificate as its credential while signing the leaf, and the enclosing KeyPackage, with an unrelated key, and be accepted under that other party's identity through KeyPackage.verify() and the Group leaf-validation path. In a deployment that admits external commits without an independent credential-admission check, an unauthenticated attacker could be admitted under a victim's X.509 identity, evict the victim (resynchronization compares whole credentials rather than signing keys), derive the current epoch, decrypt subsequent group messages, and send messages accepted as the victim. TreeKEM.LeafNode now requires the end-entity certificate's subject public key, in the cipher sui

Oct 2, 2026probe-image-size gets image dimensions without downloading the entire file.CVE-2026-104861 · Other software · nodeca · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
probe-image-size gets image dimensions without downloading the entire file. Prior to 7.4.0, lib/parse_sync/svg.js and lib/parse_stream/svg.js use the searching regular expression /<[-_.:a-zA-Z0-9][^>]*>/, which repeatedly scans to the end of input when attacker-controlled data contains many less-than characters without a closing greater-than character. The synchronous parser converts and scans the full supplied buffer without an input cap, while the streaming parser reparses the complete accumulated SVG prefix for every received chunk. The probe.sync(), probe(stream), and probe(url) entry points can therefore block the Node.js event loop at full CPU, and attacker-controlled chunking can amplify the streaming cost. This issue is fixed in version 7.4.0.

Oct 2, 2026Tinypool is a minimal Node.js worker thread pool implementation.CVE-2026-104849 · Other software · tinylibs · reported by GitHubCritical 9.5
Tinypool is a minimal Node.js worker thread pool implementation. Prior to 2.1.2, Tinypool reads filename from a caller-supplied options object in pool.run(task, options) without requiring an own property, so a polluted Object.prototype.filename can replace the intended worker module. Applications are affected only when they pass their own second-argument options object to pool.run(); calls without that argument use the trusted default options object. An attacker who can first pollute the prototype can cause the worker pool to load attacker-selected JavaScript and can read or modify task data with the host process's privileges. Oct 2, 2026Memory allocation with excessive size value, Improper handling of length parameter inconsistency vulnerability in Apache Thrift nodejs and D lang bindings.CVE-2026-83745 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 8.7
Memory allocation with excessive size value, Improper handling of length parameter inconsistency vulnerability in Apache Thrift nodejs and D lang bindings. Both bindings' WebSocket server transports read the payload length out of the frame header and allocate that many bytes immediately, without checking that the bytes have arrived. A single ~14-byte frame therefore commits as much memory as it cares to declare -- measured at 513 MiB against the Node.js server and 2 GiB against the D transport -- and in the Node.js case the connection is left open afterwards, so the frame can simply be sent again. This issue affects Apache Thrift before 0.25.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.25.0, which fixes the issue.

The getblock RPC method in zebra-rpc before 11.0.0, used by the Zcash Foundation's Zebra node, panics on verbosity 2 for a side-chain block because the block's -1 confirmations sentinel is converted to u32 with .expect(), aborting the process. Remote unauthenticated attackers, directly or through lightwalletd, can repeat this call to keep the node in a crash loop.

Zebra before 6.1.0 contains an incomplete cleanup vulnerability in the state write task that allows remote unauthenticated peers to stall node synchronization by poisoning parent_error_map. Attackers can deliver a coinbase-malleated block sharing a canonical block's hash before it propagates, causing the next canonical block to be rejected and stalling the node for roughly 2,000 blocks.

Oct 1, 2026n8n versions before 2.39.6 and 2.40.0 before 2.40.1 contain an unescaped parameter interpolation vulnerability in SendGrid, Freshservice, and ServiceNow nodes tCVE-2026-103258 · Other software · n8n-io · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.9
n8n versions before 2.39.6 and 2.40.0 before 2.40.1 contain an unescaped parameter interpolation vulnerability in SendGrid, Freshservice, and ServiceNow nodes that allows attackers to bypass filters by breaking out of query literals. Attackers can exploit this by binding vulnerable node parameters to untrusted external input to widen single-record lookups into match-all queries, exposing bulk data including contact lists, tickets, and directory entries.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
