Sep 22, 2026MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira).CVE-2026-77261 · Other software · sooperset · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, _make_ssrf_safe_hook is omitted from JiraFetcher and ConfluenceFetcher sessions created through the basic-auth and oauth_pat branches. If an attacker-controlled or compromised configured Atlassian instance returns a redirect to an internal address, those sessions can follow the redirect without revalidating its destination. This issue is fixed in version 0.22.0.

Sep 22, 2026MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira).CVE-2026-77260 · Other software · sooperset · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3
MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, the Confluence and Jira upload_attachment implementations accept an unconstrained file_path and open the referenced server-local file. A permitted MCP caller can upload sensitive host files to an Atlassian destination and then retrieve their contents. The advisory traces the vulnerable input and processing flow through upload_attachment, file_path, and CVE-2026-27825, which identify the affected entry points, controls, and code paths. This issue is fixed in version 0.22.0.

Sep 22, 2026MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira).CVE-2026-77252 · Other software · sooperset · reported by GitHubMedium 6.5
MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, caller-supplied projects_filter and spaces_filter arguments can replace administrator-configured allowlists, and caller-provided project or space clauses can suppress the configured restriction. A caller can search projects or spaces outside the intended boundary when the configured Atlassian credentials can access them. The advisory traces the vulnerable input and processing flow through JIRA_PROJECTS_FILTER, CONFLUENCE_SPACES_FILTER, projects_filter, spaces_filter, SearchMixin.search_issues, and SearchMixin.search, which identify the affected entry points, controls, and code paths. Sep 22, 2026MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira).CVE-2026-77251 · Other software · sooperset · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3
MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, Jira search accepts a forbidden project clause because it checks only for the presence of project syntax, Confluence search uses an incomplete case-sensitive space check, and Jira board APIs omit project-filter enforcement. These paths expose issues, boards, or pages outside JIRA_PROJECTS_FILTER or CONFLUENCE_SPACES_FILTER when the operator credentials have broader access. The advisory traces the vulnerable input and processing flow through jira_search, confluence_search, get_board_issues, get_agile_boards, JIRA_PROJECTS_FILTER, and CONFLUENCE_SPACES_FILTER, which identify the affected entry points, controls, and code paths. This issue is fixed in version 0.22.0.

Sep 22, 2026MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira).CVE-2026-77250 · Other software · sooperset · reported by GitHubMedium 6.1
MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, OAuthConfig writes a plaintext fallback file containing access and refresh tokens under the user's .mcp-atlassian directory using process-default permissions. On systems with a permissive umask, same-group or other local users and processes can read the persisted tokens and reuse the associated Atlassian access. The advisory traces the vulnerable input and processing flow through OAuthConfig._save_tokens, ~/.mcp-atlassian/oauth-<client_id>.json, access_token, and refresh_token, which identify the affected entry points, controls, and code paths. This issue is fixed in version 0.22.0.

Sep 22, 2026MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira).CVE-2026-77244 · Other software · sooperset · reported by GitHubCritical 10
MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, the HTTP transport accepts requests without a verified user identity and downstream fetcher construction falls back to the operator's globally configured Jira or Confluence credentials. A network client that can reach the MCP endpoint can invoke Atlassian tools as the operator, including read and write operations available to that account. The advisory traces the vulnerable input and processing flow through UserTokenMiddleware, AtlassianOpaqueTokenVerifier, _get_fetcher, and streamable-http, which identify the affected entry points, controls, and code paths. This issue is fixed in version 0.22.0.

Sep 22, 2026MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira).CVE-2026-77243 · Other software · sooperset · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, ENABLED_TOOLS and TOOLSETS are applied when tools are listed but are not rechecked when a tools/call request is dispatched. A client that knows a hidden tool name can directly invoke excluded read, write, or delete tools despite the operator's configured least-privilege restrictions. The advisory traces the vulnerable input and processing flow through ENABLED_TOOLS, TOOLSETS, tools/list, tools/call, and _call_tool_mcp, which identify the affected entry points, controls, and code paths. Sep 22, 2026MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira).CVE-2026-77242 · Other software · sooperset · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, validate_url_for_ssrf checks a hostname's resolved addresses, but Requests and urllib3 resolve the hostname again when connecting. A caller can use a short-lived DNS answer that is public during validation and private during connection, preserving unauthenticated access to internal or metadata endpoints despite the earlier CVE-2026-27826 remediation. The advisory traces the vulnerable input and processing flow through validate_url_for_ssrf, _check_dns_resolution, socket.getaddrinfo, and _make_ssrf_safe_hook, which identify the affected entry points, controls, and code paths. Sep 21, 2026NotebookLM MCP is an MCP server and HTTP service for interacting with Google NotebookLM and exporting generated content to local vault directories.CVE-2026-61647 · Other software · roomi-fields · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
NotebookLM MCP is an MCP server and HTTP service for interacting with Google NotebookLM and exporting generated content to local vault directories. Versions 1.6.0 through 2.0.2 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the `POST /batch-to-vault` endpoint, also exposed through the `batch_to_vault` MCP tool beginning in version 1.7.0, because attacker-controlled `vault_dir` and `slug_prefix` values can cause Markdown and JSON files to be written outside the intended vault directory to any location writable by the server process. Version 2.0.3 sanitizes `slug_prefix` and supports vault containment when `NOTEBOOKLM_VAULT_ROOT` is configured; containment is not enabled if that variable is unset. Users unable to upgrade should run the server as a dedicated unprivileged account restricted to the intended vault, keep the HTTP endpoint limited to localhost, and validate `vault_dir` values supplied by LLMs processing untrusted content.

Sep 21, 2026CKAN MCP Server is a tool for querying CKAN open data portals.CVE-2026-61612 · Other software · ondata · reported by GitHubMedium 5.7
CKAN MCP Server is a tool for querying CKAN open data portals. Prior to version 0.4.108, the SSRF guard `validateServerUrl` (added for CVE-2026-33060, extended for CVE-2026-53509) validates only the hostname string and never resolves DNS. Any caller-supplied `server_url` whose hostname *resolves* to an internal address passes the guard, so the server issues requests to loopback and cloud metadata (`169.254.169.254`). This is a third bypass of the same guard, and it reaches IMDS — strictly more than CVE-2026-53509, which only reached loopback. Version 0.4.108 contains an updated fix.

Sep 21, 2026MCP-for-Stata is a MCP server for integrating Stata into agent loops with a safety-first design.CVE-2026-55071 · Other software · SepineTam · reported by GitHubHigh 8.4
MCP-for-Stata is a MCP server for integrating Stata into agent loops with a safety-first design. Prior to version 1.19.0, the ado_package_install MCP tool in stata-mcp concatenates user-controlled input directly into a Stata command string without any validation or sanitization. An attacker who can invoke the MCP tool or the equivalent Python API can embed newline characters in the package argument to inject arbitrary Stata commands. Because Stata supports a shell escape command, this leads to full OS-level arbitrary command execution (RCE) under the account running the Stata-MCP server. The tool is registered in the default all profile, so no non-default configuration is required. This issue has been patched in version 1.19.0.

Sep 17, 2026Obsidian Web MCP is a secure remote MCP server for Obsidian vaults.CVE-2026-54618 · Other software · jimprosser · reported by GitHubCritical 9.4
Obsidian Web MCP is a secure remote MCP server for Obsidian vaults. Prior to 0.2.0, /oauth/authorize issues an authorization code without a login, consent, or session check, and /oauth/token can exchange that code for the static VAULT_MCP_TOKEN without authenticating a client. An unauthenticated remote caller who can reach the intended tunnel deployment can therefore call /mcp and use vault_read, vault_write, vault_search, vault_list, vault_move, and vault_delete against the entire vault. Optional PKCE does not prevent an attacker-initiated flow, and unauthenticated /oauth/register also exposes a client_credentials path by returning the configured VAULT_OAUTH_CLIENT_SECRET. This issue is fixed in version 0.2.0.

Sep 17, 2026MCP Documentation Server is a local-first document management and semantic search server for AI coding agents.CVE-2026-54504 · Other software · andrea9293 · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
MCP Documentation Server is a local-first document management and semantic search server for AI coding agents. From 1.13.0 until 1.13.1, the automatically started Web UI in src/server.ts calls startWebServer in src/web-server.ts with START_WEB_UI enabled by default and WEB_PORT set to 3080. startWebServer uses app.listen(PORT) without a host, which binds the unauthenticated document-management API to all interfaces rather than localhost. A network-reachable client can invoke GET /api/documents, GET /api/documents/:id, POST /api/documents, POST /api/search-all, DELETE /api/documents/:id, and GET /api/config without credentials to enumerate and read documents, search the corpus, insert or delete documents, and tamper with the MCP assistant's knowledge base. The service must be reachable from the attacker's LAN, VM network, container bridge, VPN, or another routed network, and the issue does not provide remote code execution. This issue is fixed in 1.13.1.

Sep 17, 2026NetLicensing MCP Server is a natural-language interface that enables agentic applications to manage the software-licensing lifecycle in Labs64 NetLicensing.CVE-2026-54446 · Other software · Labs64 · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1
NetLicensing MCP Server is a natural-language interface that enables agentic applications to manage the software-licensing lifecycle in Labs64 NetLicensing. Prior to 0.1.6, network-reachable HTTP transport requests to /mcp that omit x-netlicensing-api-key, Authorization: Bearer, and the apikey query parameter pass through ApiKeyMiddleware in src/netlicensing_mcp/server.py without authentication. The downstream api_key_ctx in src/netlicensing_mcp/client.py then falls back to the operator's NETLICENSING_API_KEY and authenticates upstream NetLicensing REST API calls under the operator account. An unauthenticated attacker can invoke MCP tools to enumerate products, licenses, licensees, and transactions, create or modify licensing objects, perform validations, and execute destructive delete operations. The issue affects HTTP deployments configured with a server-side key and does not require user interaction. This issue is fixed in version 0.1.6.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath10k: snoc: use memcpy_fromio() for MSA ramdump On WCN3990/SNOC the MSA region is mapped with devm_memremap(MEMREMAP_WT). On arm64 such a mapping is not Normal-cacheable, so unaligned accesses to it are not permitted. ath10k_msa_dump_memory() copies the region with a plain memcpy(), whose optimized __pi_memcpy_generic implementation issues wide/unaligned loads. This triggers an alignment fault (FSC=0x21) Oops in ath10k_snoc_fw_crashed_dump() while collecting the devcoredump: Unable to handle kernel paging request ... FSC=0x21: alignment fault pc : __pi_memcpy_generic lr : ath10k_snoc_fw_crashed_dump [ath10k_snoc] The Oops both leaves the firmware RAM dump buffer zeroed (no dump is captured) and crashes the kernel, which in turn breaks modem SSR recovery. Use memcpy_fromio(), which only performs accesses that are valid for such a device-memory mapping. The generic memcpy_fromio() implementation aligns the source before issuing word-sized reads and stores the destination with put_unaligned(), so it is also safe for the coherent DMA allocation used on the non-reserved-memory path. ath11k and ath12k

Sep 16, 2026RMCP is an official Rust SDK for the Model Context Protocol.CVE-2026-64684 · Other software · modelcontextprotocol · reported by GitHubMedium 6.8
RMCP is an official Rust SDK for the Model Context Protocol. Prior to 2.1.0, the rmcp crate's StreamableHttpClientTransport in crates/rmcp/src/transport/common/reqwest/streamable_http_client.rs builds its default_http_client with reqwest's automatic redirect policy and applies caller-supplied values from StreamableHttpClientTransportConfig.custom_headers without marking them as sensitive. When a malicious or compromised MCP endpoint returns a cross-origin 307 or 308 redirect, reqwest follows the redirect and apply_custom_headers causes custom API keys or authentication tokens to be replayed to the new origin, where an attacker can capture and reuse them. The separate auth_header path is not affected because it uses the standard Authorization header, which reqwest strips on cross-origin redirects. This issue is fixed in version 2.1.0.

Sep 16, 2026RMCP is an official Rust SDK for the Model Context Protocol.CVE-2026-63128 · Other software · modelcontextprotocol · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
RMCP is an official Rust SDK for the Model Context Protocol. Prior to 2.0.0, the rmcp crate's stateful Streamable HTTP server in crates/rmcp/src/transport/streamable_http_server/tower.rs allows an unauthenticated client to send a well-formed JSON-RPC POST that is not an initialization request, or an initialization request with a mismatched protocol header, causing StreamableHttpService::handle_post to call LocalSessionManager.create_session before validating the message. An early validation failure returns without removing the inserted LocalSessionHandle from LocalSessionManager.sessions, permanently retaining session and channel state for the server process lifetime. Repeated requests can grow the shared session table without bound, degrade legitimate-client latency through lock contention, exhaust memory, and terminate the server. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.0.

Sep 16, 2026RMCP is an official Rust SDK for the Model Context Protocol.CVE-2026-63127 · Other software · modelcontextprotocol · reported by GitHubHigh 8.2
RMCP is an official Rust SDK for the Model Context Protocol. Prior to 2.0.0, the rmcp crate's OAuth implementation in crates/rmcp/src/transport/auth.rs omits the RFC 9728 resource field from ResourceServerMetadata and allows discover_oauth_server_via_resource_metadata to use protected-resource metadata without confirming that the returned resource identifier exactly matches the configured MCP server. A malicious MCP server can publish metadata for a different legitimate MCP resource and its authorization server, causing a victim who connects and completes the authorization flow to obtain a legitimate access token that the client subsequently sends to the malicious server. The attacker can capture the token and impersonate the victim against the legitimate MCP resource within the token's granted scopes. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.0.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: s2255: bound JPEG frame size before copying into the buffer s2255_fillbuff() memcpy()s vc->jpg_size bytes of a captured JPEG/MJPEG frame into the vb2 plane. vc->jpg_size is taken verbatim from the S2255_MARKER_FRAME header the device sends (pdword[4] in save_frame()) and, unlike the frame payload length just above it, is never bounded: payload = le32_to_cpu(pdword[3]); if (payload > vc->req_image_size) /* payload is checked ... */ return -EINVAL; vc->pkt_size = payload; vc->jpg_size = le32_to_cpu(pdword[4]); /* ... jpg_size is not */ A malicious or malfunctioning device can therefore report a jpg_size larger than the destination vb2 plane, and the memcpy() writes past it. jpg_size is a signed int, so a value with the top bit set also turns into a huge length. Reject a frame whose jpg_size is negative or exceeds the plane size before copying it.

Sep 15, 2026`@zereight/mcp-gitlab` is a Model Context Protocol server for GitLab.CVE-2026-61560 · Other software · zereight · reported by GitHubCritical 9.8
`@zereight/mcp-gitlab` is a Model Context Protocol server for GitLab. Prior to version 2.1.27, the SSE transport mode (`SSE=true`) exposes all MCP tools without any authentication. The `upload_markdown` tool reads arbitrary files from the server's local filesystem via an unsanitized `file_path` parameter and uploads them to a GitLab project. Combined, any unauthenticated network-reachable attacker can read `/proc/self/environ` to steal the server's `GITLAB_PERSONAL_ACCESS_TOKEN` and achieve full GitLab account takeover. This is the default configuration for Docker deployments. Version 2.1.27 contains a patch.

Starting in version 0.0.1 and prior to version 2.1.27, when the environment variable `ENABLE_DYNAMIC_API_URL=true` is set, the server reads the `X-GitLab-API-URL` HTTP request header and uses it as the base URL for all outbound GitLab API calls made within that request. The server validates that the value is a well-formed URL (`new URL(dynamicApiUrl)`) but applies no allowlist or hostname restriction. The server then attaches the victim's `Private-Token` to every outbound fetch that uses the redirected URL. Any caller who can reach the HTTP transport can set `X-GitLab-API-URL` to an attacker-controlled host. The next GitLab API call the server makes delivers the victim's token to that host. Version 2.1.27 contains a patch.

Sep 15, 2026mcp-searxng is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI assistants web search and URL-reading capabilities through SearXNG.CVE-2026-58485 · Other software · ihor-sokoliuk · reported by GitHubHigh 7.1
mcp-searxng is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI assistants web search and URL-reading capabilities through SearXNG. Prior to 1.7.1, web_url_read receives its caller-controlled URL through src/index.ts and validates only the literal hostname in assertUrlAllowed() within src/url-reader.ts before undiciFetch() performs operating-system DNS resolution. A public-looking attacker-controlled hostname that resolves to a private, loopback, link-local, or cloud-metadata address therefore passes the lexical check and causes the MCP server to connect to the internal destination. In the default HTTP configuration, an unauthenticated network client can use this path to read internal services, expose credentials or service tokens, and enumerate reachable internal hosts; in STDIO deployments, prompt-influenced tool selection can provide the malicious URL. Direct private IP literals are blocked, and MCP_HTTP_ALLOW_PRIVATE_URLS remains an explicit opt-out. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.1.

Sep 15, 2026mcp-searxng is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI assistants web search and URL-reading capabilities through SearXNG.CVE-2026-58483 · Other software · ihor-sokoliuk · reported by GitHubHigh 7.5
mcp-searxng is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI assistants web search and URL-reading capabilities through SearXNG. Prior to 1.7.1, web_url_read in src/index.ts passes a caller-supplied URL to readUrlContent() in src/url-reader.ts, where checkContentLength() treats a missing Content-Length header as an inconclusive preflight and the normal and error paths then consume the complete body with response.text(). A server that omits Content-Length can therefore bypass URL_READ_MAX_CONTENT_LENGTH_BYTES and force unbounded memory use. The resulting string is also processed by NodeHtmlMarkdown.translate(), increasing CPU consumption and allowing an unauthenticated HTTP client to cause denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.1.

Sep 15, 2026MCPVault is a lightweight Model Context Protocol server for safe access to files in an Obsidian vault.CVE-2026-57442 · Other software · bitbonsai · reported by GitHubMedium 6.9
MCPVault is a lightweight Model Context Protocol server for safe access to files in an Obsidian vault. Prior to 0.11.5, PathFilter in src/pathfilter.ts uses root-anchored deny-list patterns, so nested .git, .obsidian, and node_modules path segments do not match the restriction and pass both isAllowed() and isAllowedForListing(). An attacker who influences a path selected by an AI agent can traverse nested repository or Obsidian metadata, read remote URLs or embedded tokens, or cause nested node_modules content to pollute the listAllTags index. Sep 15, 2026MCPVault is a lightweight Model Context Protocol server for safe access to files in an Obsidian vault.CVE-2026-57441 · Other software · bitbonsai · reported by GitHubHigh 8.4
MCPVault is a lightweight Model Context Protocol server for safe access to files in an Obsidian vault. Prior to 0.11.4, PathFilter in src/pathfilter.ts compiles restricted-directory patterns case-sensitively and compares paths without canonicalizing filesystem-equivalent segment names. On case-insensitive macOS and Windows filesystems, case variants of .git, .obsidian, or node_modules pass both isAllowed() and isAllowedForListing() even though the operating system opens the restricted directory, and Windows trailing dots or spaces provide the same bypass. An attacker who influences a path selected by an AI agent can use the bypass in read, write, move, search, or listing operations to expose or modify sensitive repository and Obsidian metadata. Vault-root .. containment is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.4.

mcp-searxng is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI assistants web search and URL-reading capabilities through SearXNG. Prior to 1.2.0, the web_url_read URL policy in src/url-reader.ts can be bypassed while MCP_HTTP_HARDEN is enabled and MCP_HTTP_ALLOW_PRIVATE_URLS is not enabled because redirect targets are not revalidated, 0.0.0.0 is not classified as an internal address, and IPv4-mapped IPv6 literals canonicalized to hexadecimal form are not recognized. These inputs allow an attacker-influenced tool call to make the MCP server fetch loopback or internal HTTP resources and return content from local services, private APIs, service-mesh endpoints, or cloud metadata endpoints. The separate hostname-to-private-address case addressed by the earlier partial fix is not part of these residual bypasses. This issue is fixed in version 1.2.0.

mcp-searxng is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI assistants web search and URL-reading capabilities through SearXNG. Prior to 1.2.0, web_url_read passes a caller-supplied URL to the server-side fetch path while assertUrlAllowed() in src/url-reader.ts runs only when MCP_HTTP_HARDEN is enabled, even though MCP_HTTP_HARDEN is disabled by default in src/http-security.ts. In the default configuration, an attacker who influences the URL selected by a user or AI agent can make the server fetch loopback, private-network, or cloud metadata endpoint resources and return their contents into the model context. file:// URLs remain rejected, and the separate DNS-resolution and redirect-validation bypasses are outside this record. Sep 15, 2026Meta Ads MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI assistants run Meta Ads.CVE-2026-54549 · Other software · pipeboard-co · reported by GitHubHigh 8.3
Meta Ads MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI assistants run Meta Ads. Prior to version 1.0.115, the upload_ad_image tool in meta_ads_mcp/core/ads.py passes an attacker-controlled image_url to try_multiple_download_methods() in meta_ads_mcp/core/utils.py, where httpx.AsyncClient uses follow_redirects=True and performs HTTP requests without validating the scheme, host, or resolved IP address. In a streamable-http deployment, a network caller can use any non-empty authorization value because Meta credential validation occurs after the image download, then direct the server to loopback services, private-network addresses, cloud metadata endpoints, or redirect-chained internal targets. The resulting server-side request forgery can expose internal data, invoke state-changing internal services, or disrupt reachable services. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.115.

Sep 15, 2026Meta Ads MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI assistants run Meta Ads.CVE-2026-54547 · Other software · pipeboard-co · reported by GitHubHigh 7.4
Meta Ads MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI assistants run Meta Ads. Prior to version 1.0.115, AuthInjectionMiddleware in meta_ads_mcp/core/http_auth_integration.py rejects HTTP MCP requests only when both auth_token and pipeboard_token are absent, while extract_token_from_headers() does not recognize X-Pipeboard-Token as a primary credential. A network caller using the streamable-http transport can therefore send any X-Pipeboard-Token value, pass the guard without establishing authentication context, and cause get_auth_token() to fall back to the server operator's META_ACCESS_TOKEN. Subsequent MCP tools execute with the operator's Meta credentials and can read or modify the operator's Meta Ads data. Deployments using the default stdio transport or without META_ACCESS_TOKEN are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.115.

Sep 15, 2026MCP Memory Keeper is an MCP server for persistent context management in AI coding assistants.CVE-2026-54561 · Other software · mkreyman · reported by GitHubMedium 6.2
MCP Memory Keeper is an MCP server for persistent context management in AI coding assistants. Prior to 0.13.0, context_import in src/index.ts passes the caller-controlled filePath directly to fs.readFileSync without restricting the path to an export directory. An MCP client, including an LLM agent induced to call the tool, can use ../ traversal or an absolute path to target any file readable by the server process. A valid JSON file is parsed and imported into the caller's session, allowing its full contents to be retrieved through context_get or context_export, while JSON.parse errors for non-JSON files can return leading file bytes in a SyntaxError message. The two disclosure modes can expose other exported sessions, JSON credentials or service-account files, environment files, and portions of SSH keys or other local files. This issue is fixed in version 0.13.0.

Sep 15, 2026MCP Context Forge is an AI gateway, registry, and proxy for MCP, A2A, REST, and gRPC APIs.CVE-2026-53710 · Other software · IBM · reported by GitHubCritical 10
MCP Context Forge is an AI gateway, registry, and proxy for MCP, A2A, REST, and gRPC APIs. Prior to 1.0.2, the python_sandbox_server in mcp-servers/python/python_sandbox_server/src/python_sandbox_server/server_fastmcp.py exposes raw getattr through safe_builtins, omits a required _getattr_ guard, and relies on validate_code checks for literal dangerous dunder strings. An attacker can construct dunder names at runtime, traverse the Python class hierarchy, reach subprocess.Popen, and execute OS commands with the server process privileges through the execute_code MCP tool. The HTTP/SSE transport can expose this tool without authentication, while stdio-only deployments have reduced network reachability. The issue affects the python_sandbox_server subproject and does not directly affect the core Context Forge gateway or proxy components. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.2.

Sep 15, 2026FrontMCP is a TypeScript-first framework for the Model Context Protocol (MCP).CVE-2026-59973 · Other software · agentfront · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5
FrontMCP is a TypeScript-first framework for the Model Context Protocol (MCP). From mcp-from-openapi 2.3.0 until 2.5.0 and from frontmcp and @frontmcp/adapters 1.2.1 until 1.5.0, libs/adapters/src/openapi/openapi.adapter.ts loadOpenAPISpec() forwards untrusted OpenAPI url and spec inputs and loadOptions.refResolution to OpenAPIToolGenerator.fromURL() and OpenAPIToolGenerator.fromJSON(). The external $ref guard checks parsed hostname strings without resolving addresses, pinning validated addresses, revalidating redirect targets, or normalizing IPv4-mapped IPv6. An authenticated user who can import or configure an OpenAPI specification in a hosted or multi-user deployment can use DNS-to-loopback resolution, redirect-to-loopback behavior, or IPv4-mapped IPv6 loopback forms to cause backend-origin requests to internal services. This can expose internal administrative APIs, metadata-like services, and other private network endpoints. The practical impact is lower when only a trusted local administrator can configure OpenAPI specs, and disabling external reference protocols prevents the external $ref request. ToolHive is a utility designed to simplify the deployment and management of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. Prior to 0.31.0, remote.Handler.Authenticate in pkg/auth/remote/handler.go invokes discovery.DetectAuthenticationFromServer in pkg/auth/discovery/discovery.go, whose host-side HTTP clients trust remote-server-controlled authentication discovery destinations, follow redirects without host or scheme restrictions, and do not consistently block private addresses. A malicious or compromised remote MCP server can place a resource_metadata URL in WWW-Authenticate for ParseWWWAuthenticate to extract, after which FetchResourceMetadata, OIDC issuer discovery, and well-known discovery can issue GET requests to link-local, RFC1918, or other internal services outside the server's container. The user connects to a server that the user intends to use, but the server controls the internal destination; this path does not depend on the separate NAT64 guard omission because the affected clients did not invoke IsPrivateIP, and it differs from the DCR resolver path that already refused redirects. The demonstrated primitive reaches internal-only HTTP services and reachability or error oracle

Sep 15, 2026MCP Gateway allows easy and secure running and deployment of MCP servers.CVE-2026-55887 · Other software · docker · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7
MCP Gateway allows easy and secure running and deployment of MCP servers. From 0.21.0 until 0.42.2, Docker MCP Gateway YAML-unmarshalled the attacker-controlled io.docker.server.metadata OCI image label into the broad catalog.Server structure for direct docker:// references and catalog snapshot imports in pkg/oci/self_contained.go and pkg/workingset/workingset.go. Runtime-shaping fields including Volumes, User, and ExtraHosts were then appended to the docker run argument vector without an origin allowlist, allowing a malicious image author to request host filesystem or Docker socket mounts and UID 0 execution when a victim selected or pulled the image. This container-creation-time boundary bypass can execute arbitrary code on the host and is not prevented by no-new-privileges because no in-container privilege escalation is required. Sep 15, 2026ToolHive is a utility designed to simplify the deployment and management of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.CVE-2026-54450 · Other software · stacklok · reported by GitHubLow 2.9
ToolHive is a utility designed to simplify the deployment and management of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. Prior to 0.29.1, networking.IsPrivateIP in pkg/networking/utilities.go omits the IPv6 NAT64 prefixes 64:ff9b::/96 and 64:ff9b:1::/48, so NAT64 addresses embedding private, loopback, or link-local IPv4 targets are classified as public and allowed. The most direct attacker-controlled path begins when an external OAuth client supplies a client_id URL that CIMDStorageDecorator.GetClient routes through FetchClientMetadataDocument in pkg/oauthproto/cimd/fetch.go; protectedDialerControl in pkg/networking/http_client.go and validateHost in pkg/skills/gitresolver/reference.go share the defective classification but use operator-controlled or user-controlled destinations. On a ToolHive host behind a NAT64/DNS64 gateway, the gateway translates an allowed address such as 64:ff9b:1::a9fe:a9fe to 169.254.169.254, permitting blind probing of internal TCP or TLS reachability. The attacker-controlled CIMD path requires HTTPS, verifies certificates, and does not reflect response bodies, so the established impact is an internal reachability oracle rather than metadata credential exfiltrati

Sep 15, 2026MySQL MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol server that enables secure interaction with MySQL databases.CVE-2026-59971 · Other software · designcomputer · reported by GitHubCritical 10
MySQL MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol server that enables secure interaction with MySQL databases. Prior to 0.4.2, setting MCP_TRANSPORT=sse causes src/mysql_mcp_server/server.py to construct SseServerTransport without security_settings or enable_dns_rebinding_protection, while the Starlette routes /, /sse, and /messages/ have no authentication and the service binds to 0.0.0.0 by default. A network attacker can directly reach execute_sql, or can use DNS rebinding to make a victim's browser relay same-origin requests to a locally bound service, and supply a query that reaches cursor.execute(query). This allows unauthenticated disclosure and modification of the configured database; when the MySQL account has FILE privileges, the same access can read or write server files and may enable code execution. The default stdio transport is not affected. This issue is fixed in 0.4.2.
