Sep 6, 2026When performing transfers via libcurl’s multi interface, pooled TLS connections can outlive their originating easy handles.CVE-2026-80229 · Other software · curl · reported by 2499f714-1537-4658-8207-48ae4bb9eae9High 7.5
When performing transfers via libcurl’s multi interface, pooled TLS connections can outlive their originating easy handles. In OpenSSL 3 provider configurations, libcurl attaches an allocated library context to the easy handle's state and passes it to OpenSSL without acquiring an ownership reference; destroying the easy handle prematurely frees this context while the active connection retains a dangling pointer, leading to a heap-use-after-free upon subsequent I/O or post-handshake operations.

Sep 4, 2026undici's retry interceptor can append the body of a ranged retry response to bytes already delivered from an earlier partial response while still presenting theCVE-2026-18540 · Other software · undici · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbLow 3.7
undici's retry interceptor can append the body of a ranged retry response to bytes already delivered from an earlier partial response while still presenting the original response's status and headers. This happens when an upstream server delivers part of a body without a trustworthy resume checkpoint, for example a non-success response whose headers were already sent or a partial-content response with an unusable content range, then closes the connection and answers the resumed range request with more bytes. As a result the response body can be longer than the Content-Length that the application observes. An application that relays such a response to a downstream HTTP/1.1 peer without normalizing the framing can emit a body that exceeds the forwarded Content-Length, and the excess bytes can be interpreted as the start of a following response, which enables downstream response splitting or desynchronization. Exploitation requires an attacker-controlled upstream server and an application that forwards the response through a framing-sensitive path. This affects undici versions before 6.28.1, from 7.0.0 up to 7.29.1, and from 8.0.0 up to 8.10.2. Users should upgrade to undici 6.28.1, 7

Sep 4, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: avoid lock inversion in nat keepalive work nat_keepalive_work() walks the state tablCVE-2026-80845 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: avoid lock inversion in nat keepalive work nat_keepalive_work() walks the state table while xfrm_state_walk() holds net->xfrm.xfrm_state_lock. Its callback then acquires x->lock, which conflicts with the delete path taking the same locks in reverse order via xfrm_state_delete() and __xfrm_state_delete(). This creates an AB-BA deadlock that is reported by lockdep when a NAT keepalive worker races with SA deletion. Fix this by splitting the keepalive walk into two phases. First, collect the candidate states while the walk holds xfrm_state_lock and take a reference on each state. Then, after the walk completes, process each collected state and acquire x->lock without nesting it under xfrm_state_lock.

Open edX Platform enables the authoring and delivery of online learning at any scale. Prior to commit 00b7c3c, the endpoint accepts user-supplied files[].url, performs a server-side fetch using "requests.get(url, allow_redirects=True)". The fetched bytes are then returned inside a ZIP response. This enables SSRF with response exfiltration. Redirect-following is enabled, and there is no timeout in the vulnerable fetch path. Sep 1, 2026Live Composer – Free WordPress Website Builder: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-16788 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Live Composer – Free WordPress Website Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via dslc_module_projects_output Shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.19 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. WordPress's shortcode-aware kses handling preserves the serialized shortcode body as a placeholder before content filtering runs, allowing attacker-controlled values such as view_all_link, main_heading_link_title, main_filter_title_all, and button_text to reach render-time sinks entirely unescaped.

The Live Composer – Free WordPress Website Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via dslc_module_testimonials_output Shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.19 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The injected payload survives save-time wp_kses_post filtering because KSES treats shortcode delimiters as opaque, and the unescaped fields — including main_heading_title, view_all_link, main_heading_link_title, and main_filter_title_all — are only rendered when do_shortcode() executes at page-view time.

Aug 31, 2026Livewire is a full-stack framework for Laravel.CVE-2026-81887 · Other software · livewire · reported by GitHubMedium 5.1
Livewire is a full-stack framework for Laravel. From 3.0.0-beta.1 until 3.8.3 and 4.3.4, the dot-notated query-string parser in js/plugins/history/index.js, including fromQueryString() and insertDotNotatedValueIntoData(), accepts the __proto__, constructor, and prototype path segments and creates inherited objects. Client-side state handlers then access effects.html, effects.js, effects.xjs, and effects.scripts without Object.prototype.hasOwnProperty.call(), allowing inherited attacker-controlled state to be treated as trusted effects. An unauthenticated attacker can craft a URL that, when opened by a user, executes arbitrary JavaScript in the affected application's origin. Exploitation requires user interaction and does not bypass server-side authorization or grant privileges beyond the affected user. This issue is fixed in versions 3.8.3 and 4.3.4.

Aug 30, 2026Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in ash-project ash_admin lets any client that can reach the admin LiveView exhaust the BEAM aCVE-2026-82722 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbHigh 8.3
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in ash-project ash_admin lets any client that can reach the admin LiveView exhaust the BEAM atom table and crash the entire node. Two LiveView event handlers interned atoms from unvalidated client input: AshAdmin.PageLive's set_actor built modules from the resource/domain payload with Module.concat/1, and AshAdmin.Components.Resource.Show's calculate converted every submitted form key with String.to_atom/1. Atoms are never garbage collected and the table is capped, so flooding either event with random names mints a new atom per request until the VM aborts, taking down every application on the node. The fix resolves the submitted resource/domain against the known shown resources and maps calculation keys to declared arguments, so no client-supplied string is interned. This issue affects ash_admin: from 0.1.0 before 1.3.1.

Aug 30, 2026Exposure of Data Element to Wrong Session vulnerability in ash-project ash_graphql can deliver one subscription's resolved records to a different subscriber's tCVE-2026-82367 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.3
Exposure of Data Element to Wrong Session vulnerability in ash-project ash_graphql can deliver one subscription's resolved records to a different subscriber's topic. AshGraphql.Subscription.Batcher.do_send/5 reads the resolved batch from the process dictionary via Process.get(:batch_resolved) and then unconditionally deletes it. That is sound only inside a task the library owns. On the :backpressure_sync and :noproc fallbacks do_send/5 runs inline in the publishing caller's process, so if a resolver inside an outer do_send/5 triggers another synchronous Ash notification, the inner call finds the outer run's value still under :batch_resolved, adopts it as its own result, and publishes it to the inner topic, a different subscription document with a different actor and tenant. It then deletes the key, so the outer run publishes nothing. The key is not namespaced by run, so records cannot be told apart. The fix saves, clears, and restores :batch_resolved around each run. This issue affects ash_graphql: from 1.4.0 before 1.11.0.

Aug 30, 2026Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in ash-project ash_graphql delivers GraphQL subscription payloads for records a subscriber is not authorized to see.CVE-2026-81643 · Other software · ash-project · reported by 6b3ad84c-e1a6-4bf7-a703-f496b71e49dbLow 2.3
Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in ash-project ash_graphql delivers GraphQL subscription payloads for records a subscriber is not authorized to see. In AshGraphql.Subscription.Batcher, do_send/5 resolves the first notification of a batch and filters it with should_send?/1, which drops results whose errors are coded forbidden or not_found or carry no code, precisely so that unauthorized results are not disclosed. The remaining notifications in the batch are read from the process dictionary, re-run through the pipeline, and appended to the outgoing results without that filter. They reach pubsub.publish_subscription/2, and the not is_nil(record) guard drops only nil records, not error-carrying results. Any two qualifying notifications arriving within the default one-second batch interval suffice, and batching is the default path. The fix applies should_send?/1 to the whole batch. Aug 30, 2026AVideo (current commit e01e41ecc and earlier) exposes stream credentials through the plugin/Live/view/Live_restreams/getLiveKey.json.php endpoint.CVE-2026-82645 · Other software · WWBN · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.2
AVideo (current commit e01e41ecc and earlier) exposes stream credentials through the plugin/Live/view/Live_restreams/getLiveKey.json.php endpoint. Supplying a 'token' request parameter waives both the Live::canRestream() access gate and the restream ownership check, causing the endpoint to return any restream's stream_key and stream_url (credentials for external platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch) without authentication. The token is merely encryptString() of an integer id with no user binding, expiry, or authentication tag. Because encryption uses AES-256-CBC with a deterministic IV and no MAC, and because intval() accepts any string beginning with a digit, an unauthenticated attacker can forge valid tokens using the public encryption oracle in view/url2Embed.json.php, disclosing arbitrary users' stream credentials.

Aug 28, 2026Zephyr's WireGuard implementation in subsys/net/lib/wireguard/wg_crypto.c mishandled keepalive packets.CVE-2026-13735 · Other software · zephyrproject · reported by vulnerabilities@zephyrproject.orgLow 3.7
Zephyr's WireGuard implementation in subsys/net/lib/wireguard/wg_crypto.c mishandled keepalive packets. In wg_process_data_message(), any type-4 transport-data message whose payload was exactly 16 bytes (an empty plaintext plus a bare Poly1305 tag, i.e. a keepalive) was accepted and returned immediately, before wg_decrypt_packet() was ever called. The Poly1305 authentication tag was therefore never verified; the only preceding gates were a cleartext receiver-index lookup (get_peer_keypair_for_index() on the attacker-supplied data_hdr->receiver) and a non-cryptographic keypair validity/expiry check. The path is reachable entirely from the network: inbound UDP on the WireGuard port is dispatched by wg_input() to handle_transport_data() and then wg_process_data_message(). The 32-bit receiver index is transmitted in cleartext in WireGuard handshake and data messages, so an on-path observer learns it directly and an off-path attacker can brute-force it against the UDP port. Given an active receiving-valid session for that index, an attacker could send a 16-byte garbage payload and have it accepted without possessing the session key. On acceptance the unauthenticated message caused the

An attacker who lures a logged-in streamer to a malicious page can silently change the live-channel viewer-redirect settings (persisted in users.externalOptions), causing viewers to be redirected to a phishing site or shown a spoofed message.

Aug 28, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: liveupdate: Reference count incoming FLB data Increment the incoming FLB refcount in liveuCVE-2026-80642 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: liveupdate: Reference count incoming FLB data Increment the incoming FLB refcount in liveupdate_flb_get_incoming() so that the FLB structure cannot be freed while the caller is actively using it. Add an additional liveupdate_flb_put_incoming() function so the caller can explicitly indicate when it is done using the FLB data. During a Live Update, a subsystem might need to hold onto the incoming File-Lifecycle-Bound (FLB) data for an extended period, such as during device enumeration. Incrementing the reference count guarantees that the data remains valid and accessible until the subsystem releases it, preventing future use-after-free bugs.

Aug 27, 2026openssl_encrypt before 1.4.9 executes untrusted third-party plugins with insufficient controls: the plugin signature policy defaulted to WARN, so an unsigned/unCVE-2026-81719 · Other software · jahlives · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3
openssl_encrypt before 1.4.9 executes untrusted third-party plugins with insufficient controls: the plugin signature policy defaulted to WARN, so an unsigned/unverifiable non-built-in plugin was compiled and executed in the host process at import time, before the runtime sandbox is installed. The only default gate was an incomplete, bypassable AST denylist. If a user is induced to load an attacker's plugin, this results in arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the user running openssl_encrypt. Fixed in 1.4.9 by defaulting the signature policy to ENFORCE for non-built-in plugins.

openssl_encrypt (pip package openssl-encrypt) before 1.4.9 contains two weaknesses in the portable USB drive feature, whose threat model treats the removable drive as untrusted (attacker with physical write access). USBDriveCreator._verify_integrity_file only validates files listed in the manifest, so files added to the drive — including a root-level autorun payload — are not detected and integrity verification still passes. Additionally, a globally constant, source-embedded KDF salt (_LEGACY_FIXED_SALT) is used to derive the drive encryption key for any drive lacking a per-drive salt file, defeating precomputation resistance and enabling an offline rainbow-table attack.

Aug 27, 2026openssl_encrypt (pip: openssl-encrypt) versions before 1.4.9 contain a path traversal flaw in PluginSandbox._is_safe_path, which authorized file access using a CVE-2026-81716 · Other software · jahlives · reported by VulnCheckHigh 8.7
openssl_encrypt (pip: openssl-encrypt) versions before 1.4.9 contain a path traversal flaw in PluginSandbox._is_safe_path, which authorized file access using a bare string-prefix match. A sandboxed plugin without the READ_FILES permission could read or write another plugin's directory that merely shares a name prefix (e.g., .../plugins/foobar matching allowed .../plugins/foo), breaking per-plugin isolation within the same user. Fixed by matching each allowed directory exactly or with a trailing path separator.

openssl_encrypt (pip package openssl-encrypt) versions <= 1.4.8 do not redact the keyserver bearer token passed as the positional argument to 'keyserver set-token' in the --debug argv dump, because sanitize_argv_for_debug fails to sanitize it. Aug 27, 2026openssl_encrypt (pip: openssl-encrypt) versions <= 1.4.8 use suffix-tolerant fingerprint matching in enroll_trust_key when binding a plugin-signing trust anchorCVE-2026-81714 · Other software · jahlives · reported by VulnCheckCritical 9.3
openssl_encrypt (pip: openssl-encrypt) versions <= 1.4.8 use suffix-tolerant fingerprint matching in enroll_trust_key when binding a plugin-signing trust anchor. An operator who confirms a short (forgeable, ~32-bit) GPG key id could unknowingly enroll an attacker's colliding key as a trusted anchor, which then vouches for malicious plugins under the ENFORCE signature policy. Version 1.4.9 fixes this by requiring the confirmed value to exactly match the full primary-key fingerprint (case-insensitive, whitespace-stripped).

openssl-encrypt before 1.4.9 fails to redact the file password in its --debug argv dump when the password is supplied via bundled short-option spellings (e.g. -apHunter2) or abbreviated long-option spellings (e.g. --passw). The sanitizer only recognized exact option names, --option=value forms, and tokens starting with -p, so these spellings bypass the redaction chokepoint and the cleartext password is written to stderr. Anyone with access to that output (terminal scrollback, merged 2>&1 output, CI job logs, or the GUI's persistent debug log) can recover the password.
