• May 27, 2026myLinksDump: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-2288 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.8

    The myLinksDump plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'link_title' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.6 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This only affects multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled.

  • May 25, 2026Archive::Tar versions before 3.08 for Perl extract hardlinks to attacker controlled paths outside the extraction directory.CVE-2026-42497 · Other software · BINGOS · reported by 9b29abf9-4ab0-4765-b253-1875cd9b441eHigh 7.5

    Archive::Tar versions before 3.08 for Perl extract hardlinks to attacker controlled paths outside the extraction directory. _make_special_file() passes the tar header's linkname to link() without validating it against absolute paths or .. segments, creating a hardlink that shares the victim file's inode. A subsequent write through the extracted name modifies the victim file, and the post-extraction chmod, chown, and utime block in _extract_file() (guarded only against symlinks via -l) applies the tar header's mode, owner, and timestamps to the shared inode during extraction alone.

    Archive::Tar versions before 3.08 for Perl extract symlinks with attacker controlled targets outside the extraction directory. _make_special_file() passes the tar header's linkname to symlink() without validating it against absolute paths or .. segments. • May 8, 2026Auto Affiliate Links: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-7330 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

    The Auto Affiliate Links plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 6.8.8 This is due to insufficient input sanitization on the 'url' POST parameter in the aal_url_stats_save_action() function and a complete absence of output escaping in aal_display_clicks(), where the stored value is echoed directly into an anchor element's href attribute and inner text without esc_url(), esc_attr(), or esc_html(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into the admin statistics page that execute in an administrator's browser when the page is visited, leveraging a publicly exposed nonce and an unauthenticated AJAX endpoint registered via the wp_ajax_nopriv_ hook.

    The mv utility in uutils coreutils improperly handles directory trees containing symbolic links during moves across filesystem boundaries. Instead of preserving symlinks, the implementation expands them, copying the linked targets as real files or directories at the destination. This can lead to resource exhaustion (disk space or time) if symlinks point to large external directories, unexpected duplication of sensitive data into unintended locations, or infinite recursion and repeated copying in the presence of symlink loops.

  • Apr 21, 2026LinkAce is a self-hosted archive to collect website links.CVE-2026-40905 · Other software · Kovah · reported by GitHubHigh 8.1

    LinkAce is a self-hosted archive to collect website links. Prior to 2.5.4, a password reset poisoning vulnerability was identified in the application due to improper trust of user-controlled HTTP headers. The application uses the X-Forwarded-Host header when generating password reset URLs. By manipulating this header during a password reset request, an attacker can inject an attacker-controlled domain into the reset link sent via email. As a result, the victim receives a password reset email containing a malicious link pointing to an attacker-controlled domain. When the victim clicks the link, the password reset token is transmitted to the attacker-controlled server. An attacker can capture this token and use it to reset the victim’s password, leading to full account takeover. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.5.4.

  • Apr 20, 2026When sed is invoked with both -i (in-place edit) and --follow-symlinks, the function open_next_file() performs two separate, non-atomic filesystem operations onCVE-2026-5958 · Other software · GNU · reported by cvd@cert.plLow 2.1

    When sed is invoked with both -i (in-place edit) and --follow-symlinks, the function open_next_file() performs two separate, non-atomic filesystem operations on the same path: 1. resolves symlink to its target and stores the resolved path for determining when output is written, 2. opens the original symlink path (not the resolved one) to read the file. Between these two calls there is a race window. If an attacker atomically replaces the symlink with a different target during that window, sed will: read content from the new (attacker-chosen) symlink target and write the processed result to the path recorded in step 1. This can lead to arbitrary file overwrite with attacker-controlled content in the context of the sed process. This issue was fixed in version 4.10.

  • Apr 7, 2026LinkAce is a self-hosted archive to collect website links.CVE-2026-35516 · Other software · Kovah · reported by GitHubMedium 5

    LinkAce is a self-hosted archive to collect website links. Prior to 2.5.4, LinkRepository::update and CheckLinksCommand::checkLink do not check for private IPs. An authenticated user can read responses from internal services (AWS IMDSv1, cloud metadata, internal APIs) by creating a link with a public URL and then updating it to a private IP. The links:check cron job makes the request server-side without IP filtering. This can expose cloud credentials, internal service data, and network topology. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.5.4.

    LinkAce is a self-hosted archive to collect website links. In versions prior to 2.5.3, a private note attached to a non-private link can be disclosed to a different authenticated user via the web interface. The API appears to correctly enforce note visibility, but the web link detail page renders notes without applying equivalent visibility filtering. • Feb 21, 2026LinkAce is a self-hosted archive to collect website links.CVE-2026-27458 · Other software · Kovah · reported by GitHubHigh 8.7

    LinkAce is a self-hosted archive to collect website links. Versions 2.4.2 and below have a Stored Cross-site Scripting vulnerability through the Atom feed endpoint for lists (/lists/feed). An authenticated user can inject a CDATA-breaking payload into a list description that escapes the XML CDATA section, injects a native SVG element into the Atom XML document, and executes arbitrary JavaScript directly in the browser when the feed URL is visited. No RSS reader or additional rendering context is required — the browser's native XML parser processes the injected SVG and fires the onload event handler. This vulnerability exists because the lists feed template outputs list descriptions using Blade's raw syntax ({!! !!}) without sanitization inside a CDATA block. The critical detail is that because the output sits inside ..., an attacker can inject the sequence to close the CDATA section prematurely, then inject arbitrary XML/SVG elements that the browser parses and executes natively as part of the Atom document. This issue has been fixed in version 2.4.3.

    ERPNext thru 15.88.1 does not sanitize or remove certain HTML tags specifically `` hyperlinks in fields that are intended for plain text. Although JavaScript is blocked (preventing XSS), the HTML is still preserved in the generated PDF document. As a result, an attacker can inject malicious clickable links into an ERP-generated PDF. Since PDF files generated by the ERP system are generally considered trustworthy, users are highly likely to click these links, potentially enabling phishing attacks or malware delivery. This issue occurs in the Add Quality Goal' function.

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
