  • Sep 29, 2026Joomla Extension - balbooa.com - Unauthenticated RCE via field shortcode injection in Balbooa Forms < 2.4.3.4 - Balbooa Forms supports administrator-defined PHPCVE-2026-102425 · Websites & servers · reported by security@joomla.orgCritical 9.5

Joomla Extension - balbooa.com - Unauthenticated RCE via field shortcode injection in Balbooa Forms < 2.4.3.4 - Balbooa Forms supports administrator-defined PHP code which runs after a public form submission. The feature also supports form-field shortcodes inside that PHP. Before calling `eval()`, the component replaces each shortcode with the raw value submitted by the visitor, leading to an RCE vector. A public form must use the product's optional PHP-after-submission action and interpolate an attacker-controlled field shortcode inside a double-quoted PHP string to be vulnerable.

  • Sep 29, 2026Joomla Extension - balbooa.com - Unauthenticated path traversal exfiltrates local files through auto-reply attachments in Balbooa Forms < 2.4.3.4 - Balbooa FormCVE-2026-102424 · Websites & servers · reported by security@joomla.orgHigh 8.9

Joomla Extension - balbooa.com - Unauthenticated path traversal exfiltrates local files through auto-reply attachments in Balbooa Forms < 2.4.3.4 - Balbooa Forms accepts upload-field state as Guest-controlled JSON during public form submission. For every object whose `id` merely looks numeric, the component trusts the supplied `filename`, concatenates it below the configured upload directory, and adds the result to an array of local attachment paths. It does not load the referenced attachment row, verify ownership/session/form/field, require that the ID exists, canonicalize the path, or enforce containment. If the form's normal “auto reply” and “attach uploaded files” options are enabled, the component sends those local paths as email attachments to the address submitted in an email field. A Guest can therefore submit a nonexistent numeric ID plus a traversal filename such as `../../../../configuration.php` and receive any file readable by the Joomla process.

  • Sep 29, 2026Joomla Extension - balbooa.com - Unauthenticated upload filename stored XSS in Balbooa Forms < 2.4.3.4 - The public form upload endpoint validates the uploaded CVE-2026-101127 · Websites & servers · reported by security@joomla.orgHigh 8.6

Joomla Extension - balbooa.com - Unauthenticated upload filename stored XSS in Balbooa Forms < 2.4.3.4 - The public form upload endpoint validates the uploaded file's extension and detected MIME type, but stores the attacker-supplied original multipart filename verbatim in `#__baforms_submissions_attachments.name`. A later anonymous form submission associates that temporary attachment with the newly created submission. When an administrator opens the submission, the component's JavaScript retrieves the stored attachment record and concatenates `file.name` directly into an HTML string. The complete string is assigned to `innerHTML`.

Joomla Extension - balbooa.com - File meta data tampering in Balbooa Forms < 2.4.3.4 - The final form submission processes JSON arrays per upload field, checking only that IDs are numeric. Joomla Extension - balbooa.com - Unauthorized Deletion of Attachments in Balbooa Forms < 2.4.3.4 - The public removeTmpAttachment action accepts an integer attachment ID and deletes the matching database row and file. The controller verifies a Joomla session token, but the model does not bind that ID to the session that uploaded the file, the current user, the form, the upload field, or the temporary state. Any guest can obtain a token for their own session, so the token prevents CSRF but does not authorize the target object.

Issue summary: A non-constant-time optimized implementation of scalar point multiplication is used for SM2 private key operations on ARM64 and RISC-V platforms. Impact summary: An attacker able to measure the time taken by, or to observe the cache-line access pattern of SM2 signing or decryption on an affected platform can learn information about the secret scalar. CWE: CWE-208: Observable Timing Discrepancy Description: On ARM64 and RISC-V processors, the SM2 curve uses an optimized scalar multiplication implementation whose conditional branches and table look ups are chosen according to the bits of the secret scalar. The execution time and the cache-access pattern therefore depend on the long-term private key (during SM2 decryption) or the per-signature nonce (during SM2 signature generation), forming a timing and cache side-channel. FIPS Impact: no SM2 is not a FIPS algorithm and the optimized SM2 implementation is not part of the FIPS module. OpenSSL 4.0, 3.6, 3.5 and 3.4 are vulnerable to this issue on AArch64 and RISC-V. OpenSSL 3.0, 1.1.1 and 1.0.2 are not affected by this issue. OpenSSL 4.0 users should upgrade to OpenSSL 4.0.3. OpenSSL 3.6 users should upgrade to Op

  • Sep 26, 2026Contrast (Edgeless Systems) through 1.20.0 performs unanchored suffix matching when selecting per-registry configuration in the imagepuller.CVE-2026-100837 · Other software · edgelesssys · reported by VulnCheckMedium 6.3

Contrast (Edgeless Systems) through 1.20.0 performs unanchored suffix matching when selecting per-registry configuration in the imagepuller. Config.registryFor strips a single trailing dot and then uses strings.HasSuffix(hostname, fqdn) without requiring a DNS label boundary, so a registry entry such as [registries."ghcr.io."] is also applied to any host whose name merely ends in that byte sequence, including attacker-registered domains such as evilghcr.io. When an image or layer is pulled from such a sibling domain, the imagepuller sends the configured Authorization header (basic auth, registry token, or identity token), trusts the configured custom CA bundle, follows the configured mirror, and honours insecure-skip-verify (disabling TLS verification) for that host. Image integrity is not affected, as image bytes remain pinned by digest in the policy and are validated after the pull. Configurations that use a leading dot (e.g., [registries.".example.registry"]) are unaffected.

  • Sep 25, 2026User Profile Builder – Beautiful User Registration Forms, User Profiles & User Role Editor: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-95866 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2

The User Profile Builder – Beautiful User Registration Forms, User Profiles & User Role Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Avatar Field in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The zero-length multipart file branch in wppb_save_avatar_value() writes the raw request value directly to user meta, bypassing the wppb_save_attachment_id()/wppb_verify_attachment_id() validation path; the stored payload is later adopted as a WordPress attachment URL and rendered unescaped by wppb_default_fields_make_upload_button() when an administrator views the affected account.

An integer overflow vulnerability exists in the MPack Node API in MPack 1.1.1 on 32-bit platforms. When parsing a specially crafted MessagePack array32 or map32 object with an excessively large element count, the page allocation size calculation in mpack_tree_parse_children() can overflow size_t and produce an undersized allocation. The Paytium: Mollie payment forms & donations plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.3. The 5.0.3 patch introduced a wp_hash()/hash_equals() signature gate on the pt-paytium-user-data field, but left a second filter — pt_cf_checkout_meta(), registered on the pt_meta_values hook after the signed builder — that copies every $_POST['pt_form_field'][*] key verbatim into the payment meta array without any signature verification; this allows the pt-user-role value it copies to overwrite the signed path's output, after which paytium_user_data_processing() reads the persisted _pt-user-role post meta and passes it directly as the role argument to wp_insert_user(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to register a new WordPress account with the administrator role and fully take over the site. Exploitation requires submitting a payment through a publicly-exposed [paytium] shortcode form and completing the resulting payment flow, after which the attacker can seize the new administrator account via the standard lost-password flow on their supplied email address.

Prior to 2.2.23 and 3.1.31, Formie's anonymous formie/submissions/submit action in SubmissionsController::actionSubmit trusts a client-supplied submissionId when loading an incomplete submission without session binding, ownership validation, or a valid submissionEditToken. An unauthenticated attacker can enumerate sequential IDs and overwrite or hijack another user's in-progress multi-page or save-for-later submission, and the modified data can be persisted and forwarded through notifications or integrations when the submission is completed. This is an incomplete remediation of CVE-2026-47266 because that earlier change validated edit tokens for save-submission but did not protect submit. Completed submissions are excluded by the isIncomplete filter. This issue is fixed in versions 2.2.23 and 3.1.31.

  • Sep 23, 2026Formie is a Craft CMS plugin for creating forms.CVE-2026-76086 · Other software · verbb · reported by GitHubHigh 8.5

Formie is a Craft CMS plugin for creating forms. Prior to 2.2.23 and 3.1.31, Formie's formie/integrations/form-settings control panel action in IntegrationsController::actionFormSettings is reachable without the required form integration permissions and passes request-supplied settings to a configured integration. An authenticated attacker can replace outbound host properties such as apiUrl while the server uses stored API keys or OAuth tokens, causing non-blind server-side requests to an attacker-controlled or internal host and returning the remote response. This residual flaw remained because the permission gate added in version 3.1.28 excluded the form-settings action. Sites that permit low-privileged or front-end user authentication can therefore expose integration credentials and internal network responses. This issue is fixed in versions 2.2.23 and 3.1.31.

  • Sep 23, 2026Forminator Forms: Does not restrictCVE-2026-87071 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 5.3

The Forminator Forms WordPress plugin before 1.57.2.1 does not restrict which metadata keys a form submission may supply, and does not exclude the keys WordPress reserves for its own use, so unauthenticated visitors submitting a public form that collects post content can attach metadata of their choosing to the post their submission creates.

The Forminator Forms WordPress plugin before 1.57.2.1 does not verify that a request came from a trusted proxy before preferring client-supplied forwarding headers over the connecting address, and it uses that value both to enforce its per-visitor voting limit and to record who submitted an entry. Unauthenticated visitors can therefore vote without limit on any poll and can choose the address stored against every submission they make.

  • Sep 23, 2026Forminator Forms: Does not bind its saved-draft notification to the visitor who created the draftCVE-2026-87074 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanLow 3.7

The Forminator Forms WordPress plugin before 1.57.2.1 does not bind its saved-draft notification to the visitor who created the draft, and takes both the recipient address and the link written into the message from the request, so unauthenticated visitors can make the site send a message from its own mail configuration to any address, carrying a link of their choosing inside the site's own template. The token that authorises the send is handed to the anonymous caller by the Forminator Forms WordPress plugin before 1.57.2.1 itself and can be replayed without limit.

The Forminator Forms WordPress plugin before 1.57.2.1 does not perform a nonce, capability or ownership check before running a one-time payment-field migration during the construction of one of its admin screens, and that construction happens on every wp-admin request for any logged-in user. • Sep 22, 2026Forward-reference completion for @JsonIdentityInfo object IDs in FasterXML jackson-databind performs a linear scan of the pending-reference accumulator for everCVE-2026-91777 · Other software · FasterXML · reported by 36c7be3b-2937-45df-85ea-ca7133ea542cHigh 7.5

Forward-reference completion for @JsonIdentityInfo object IDs in FasterXML jackson-databind performs a linear scan of the pending-reference accumulator for every resolved ID. The affected paths are CollectionDeserializer.CollectionReferringAccumulator.resolveForwardReference() and the equivalent implementation in MapDeserializer. When a document first creates N unresolved object-ID references in an identity-enabled collection or map and then defines those same IDs in reverse order, completion performs on the order of N * (N + 1) / 2 identity comparisons, so a shallow document whose size grows linearly causes quadratic CPU work during deserialization. The reporter instrumented equals() calls on the ID class and measured exactly 2,003,000 comparisons at N = 2,000, against zero comparisons in the pending-reference lookup path for an equally sized control in which every reference was already resolved. The input requires no deep nesting and no syntactically unusual JSON. Exploitation requires an application that deserializes attacker-influenced JSON into an identity-enabled collection or map. The fix replaces the repeated linear lookup with a keyed pending-reference structure.
