Oct 3, 2026Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress: Reflected Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-92551 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.1
The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via ppress_billing_address Filename Parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.17.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. The vulnerability is exploitable via any page hosting the ProfilePress Tabbed Widget by supplying a malicious filename for the ppress_billing_address file upload field in a crafted POST request.

Oct 3, 2026Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress: Sensitive Information ExposureCVE-2026-92536 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8
The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 4.17.4 via the get_user_profile_structure. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to extract other users' email addresses, login names, and registration dates via the Member Directory's per-row user rebinding when attacker-controlled base64 payloads in the [pp-custom-html] shortcode invoke [profile-email], [profile-username], and [profile-date-registered]. When the WordPress users_can_register option is enabled, unauthenticated attackers can also exploit this vulnerability by supplying the split shortcode fragments through the plugin's own registration handler, which processes the reg_nickname and reg_bio fields without a nonce requirement.

Oct 2, 2026Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-96270 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.2
The Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'form_id' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.13.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The injected payload is stored in the registering user's 'submitted' usermeta via update_user_meta() and is only triggered when an administrator opens the affected user record in the wp-admin Users modal, which inserts the unescaped output via jQuery .html().

Oct 2, 2026Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership: Authorization bypassCVE-2026-93428 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.13.1 This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to view privacy-restricted member profile field values — including fields explicitly configured as owner-only, members-only, or role-restricted — by querying the publicly accessible wp_ajax_nopriv_um_get_members endpoint. The nonce required by the endpoint ('um-frontend-nonce') is emitted to all unauthenticated visitors via wp_localize_script, meaning it provides no meaningful access control and any anonymous visitor can satisfy the endpoint's authentication requirements.

Oct 2, 2026Ninja Forms - File Uploads: Arbitrary file operationsCVE-2026-92820 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1
The Ninja Forms - File Uploads plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file operations in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.34 via the external (Amazon S3) upload flow. The plugin trusts an attacker-supplied file path from the form submission and stores it as the upload's file_path, which is then used without validation to attach a file to the form's notification email (arbitrary file read), to write fetched content (arbitrary file write, leading to remote code execution when the external store is configured), and in a scheduled deletion (arbitrary file deletion). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read, write, or delete arbitrary files on the server. Exploitation requires the site to use the plugin's External File Upload (Amazon S3) action; the read variant additionally requires a form Email action configured to attach the uploaded file.

Oct 2, 2026SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle: Local File InclusionCVE-2026-92174 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5
The SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 1.73.2 via the 'theme' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to include and execute arbitrary .php files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where .php file types can be uploaded and included. Exploitation requires sending a malicious widgetData payload containing a legacy top-level theme key alongside a non-empty columns array to the /wp-json/sowb/v1/widgets/previews REST endpoint, which bypasses field validation because update_fields() only processes declared form fields.

Oct 1, 2026Super Forms – Drag & Drop Form Builder: Arbitrary File/Directory DeletionCVE-2026-15983 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.1
The Super Forms – Drag & Drop Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File/Directory Deletion in all versions up to, and including, 6.3.316. This is due to the `super_save_form` AJAX handler performing no capability check — allowing Subscriber-level authenticated users to create or modify Super Forms and enable the `file_upload_submission_delete` setting — combined with the `super_submit_form` handler's `submit_form` function passing the attacker-controlled `files[].subdir` value from `$_POST['data']` directly into `SUPER_Common::delete_dir()` without sanitization, and a trivially bypassed `ABSPATH` guard that a `subdir` value of `wp-config.php` defeats because `dirname(realpath(ABSPATH . $subdir))` resolves to the WordPress root while the naive `ABSPATH !== $dir` string check fails to match due to a trailing-slash mismatch. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to recursively delete arbitrary files and directories on the server, up to and including the entire WordPress installation, resulting in full site takedown and potential remote code execution if critical files such as `wp-config.php` are removed and

The Simply Schedule Appointments plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.12.27 via the 'ssa_locale' parameter parameter. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where .php file types can be uploaded and included. The User Profile Builder – Beautiful User Registration Forms, User Profiles & User Role Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Avatar Field in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The zero-length multipart file branch in wppb_save_avatar_value() writes the raw request value directly to user meta, bypassing the wppb_save_attachment_id()/wppb_verify_attachment_id() validation path; the stored payload is later adopted as a WordPress attachment URL and rendered unescaped by wppb_default_fields_make_upload_button() when an administrator views the affected account.

The path restriction to wp-content/uploads is not an effective ownership boundary, as all user attachment files reside within that tree, and Authors trivially satisfy the edit_post check on their own galleries.

Sep 19, 2026Ultra Addons for Contact Form 7: Does not validate the type or extension of files uploaded through one of its form fieldsCVE-2026-84750 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 6.5
The Ultra Addons for Contact Form 7 WordPress plugin before 3.5.51 does not validate the type or extension of files uploaded through one of its form fields, and stores them at a predictable public path with the attacker-chosen extension intact, allowing unauthenticated users to upload arbitrary files. The PHP handler shipped by default with the Debian and Ubuntu Apache packages maps .phar to PHP alongside .php and .phtml, so on that stack the uploaded file is executed and the issue leads to Remote Code Execution and full site takeover. Where the host routes only .php to the PHP handler, the same file is instead served from the site's own origin with its script intact, leading to Stored Cross-Site Scripting.

Sep 18, 2026Gravity Forms: Arbitrary File UploadCVE-2026-84434 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8
The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.0.4 via the upload_file function. This is due to a mismatch between the field validation pipeline and the file persistence pipeline, where hidden file upload fields bypass extension validation and a rejected file's intact upload state is later passed to upload_file() without re-validation. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. Exploitation requires the targeted form to contain a File Upload field with its Visibility set to 'Hidden'; the vulnerability is reachable by unauthenticated attackers on any publicly accessible form meeting this condition.

Sep 18, 2026The WP Cloud Plugins Use-your-Drive, Out-of-the-Box, Share-one-Drive, and Lets-Box plugins for WordPress are vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versionsCVE-2026-93031 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8
The WP Cloud Plugins Use-your-Drive, Out-of-the-Box, Share-one-Drive, and Lets-Box plugins for WordPress are vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions from 2.0 up to, and including, 3.8.3 via the download_file_to_uploads function. This is due to the import action being registered for unauthenticated users via wp_ajax_nopriv_, a missing capability check in can_import(), and the imported file's extension and contents not being validated against get_allowed_mime_types() before it is written to the uploads directory. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible.
