  • Jun 22, 2026AIL did not restrict repeated failed attempts to verify a two-factor authentication (OTP) code.CVE-2026-56450 · Other software · ail project · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.1

AIL did not restrict repeated failed attempts to verify a two-factor authentication (OTP) code. An attacker who had reached the 2FA verification step, such as after successfully completing the password-authentication stage, could submit an unlimited number of OTP guesses. This could enable brute-force guessing of a valid code and bypass the intended second authentication factor, resulting in unauthorized account access. The patch introduces per-user failed-OTP tracking, blocks verification after 30 failed attempts for one hour, clears the counter after a successful OTP verification, and provides administrator recovery actions to purge affected lockouts.

Authelia is an open-source authentication and authorization server providing two-factor authentication and single sign-on (SSO) for applications via a web portal. In versions 4.36.0 through 4.39.19, due to lack of canonicalization of domains in very specific edge cases, an access control rule may be skipped when it should match a request. The specific conditions that could lead to a security issue for vulnerability are: 1. The specific target resource of the attack must be using the forwarded authorization integration; 2. The requested domain must have two additional segments compared to a session domain i.e. `a.b.example.com` is requested, but the session domain is `example.com`; 3. There access control rules must specify two separate rules which both contain inexact domain matches such as `*.b.example.com` and `*.example.com` i.e. wildcards, username matches, group matches; 4. The rules must be in order of most specific domain to least specific domain; 5. The second rule must be more permissive than the first rule; 6. The attacker must specifically request a URL for the more specific domain, with the second part containing one or more capitalized letters i.e. `https://a.B.example

  • Jun 19, 2026Authelia is an open-source authentication and authorization server providing two-factor authentication and single sign-on (SSO) for applications via a web portaCVE-2026-47203 · Other software · authelia · reported by GitHubLow 2.9

Authelia is an open-source authentication and authorization server providing two-factor authentication and single sign-on (SSO) for applications via a web portal. In versions 4.38.0 through 4.39.19, when a user authenticates via Basic Auth (i.e via the `Authorization` header with the `Basic` scheme) on the authz verification endpoint, Authelia takes the username directly from the `Authorization` header and passes it as is to the regulation system for ban checking and attempt recording. LDAP treats usernames case insensitively : `john`, `John`, and `JOHN` all bind as the same user. But the regulation SQL queries treat the lookup of these values in certain scenarios as case sensitive. This allows each variation of a usernames case to have its own ban bucket. Upgrade to 4.39.20 to receive a patch. As a workaround, explicitly disable the basic auth mechanism.

  • Jun 19, 2026The security fix for CVE-2025-0728 in eclipse-threadx NetX Duo refactors error handling in the HTTP server PUT process to use a shared cleanup label, but this uCVE-2026-11576 · Other software · Eclipse Foundation · reported by emo@eclipse.orgHigh 7.5

The security fix for CVE-2025-0728 in eclipse-threadx NetX Duo refactors error handling in the HTTP server PUT process to use a shared cleanup label, but this unified cleanup path unconditionally calls fx_file_close() even when the file was never successfully opened. Multiple error branches jump to the shared cleanup label before any file open operation has occurred, causing fx_file_close() to operate on an uninitialized file handle, leading to undefined behavior, double-close issues, or memory corruption.

  • Jun 18, 2026Open redirect in pgAdmin 4's multi-factor authentication flow.CVE-2026-12049 · Other software · pgadmin.org · reported by f86ef6dc-4d3a-42ad-8f28-e6d5547a5007Medium 5.3

Open redirect in pgAdmin 4's multi-factor authentication flow. The MFA validate and register endpoints honoured the user-supplied 'next' query/form parameter without confirming the target pointed back inside pgAdmin, so an authenticated victim who clicked /mfa/validate?next=<external> -- a link typically delivered by phishing -- would be sent to an attacker-controlled host directly out of the trusted auth flow. The defect is a trusted-domain redirect, not a privilege bypass: the attacker gains no read/write access to pgAdmin or the victim's database, but the redirect launders the attacker's destination through pgAdmin's URL, which raises the success rate of credential-phishing follow-on against the victim. Fix introduces a same-origin _is_safe_redirect_url helper and gates every MFA redirect that consumes user-supplied 'next' values through it. The helper allows only relative paths and absolute URLs whose scheme is http(s) and whose host matches the current request host; it rejects external hosts in absolute and protocol-relative form, non-http schemes (javascript:, data:, mailto:), userinfo tricks (http://localhost@attacker/), and backslash variants that some browsers normalize

The Two-factor authentication (formerly IP Vault) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 2.1. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the ipv_save_changes function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify the plugin's firewall and two-factor authentication settings — including the operating mode, request include/exclude rules, authentication slug, and log retention period — potentially disabling protection entirely via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: Refactor amdgpu_gem_va_ioctl for Handling Last Fence Update and Timeline Management v4 This commit simplifies the amdgpu_gem_va_ioctl function, key updates include: - Moved the logic for managing the last update fence directly into amdgpu_gem_va_update_vm. - Introduced checks for the timeline point to enable conditional replacement or addition of fences. v2: Addressed review comments from Christian. v3: Updated comments (Christian). v4: The previous version selected the fence too early and did not manage its reference correctly, which could lead to stale or freed fences being used. This resulted in refcount underflows and could crash when updating GPU timelines. The fence is now chosen only after the VA mapping work is completed, and its reference is taken safely. After exporting it to the VM timeline syncobj, the driver always drops its local fence reference, ensuring balanced refcounting and avoiding use-after-free on dma_fence. Crash signature: [ 205.828135] refcount_t: underflow; use-after-free. [ 205.832963] WARNING: CPU: 30 PID: 7274 at lib/refcount.c:2

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: ctxfi: Don't enumerate SPDIF1 at DAIO initialization The recent refactoring of xfi driver changed the assignment of atc->daios[] at atc_get_resources(); now it loops over all enum DAIOTYP entries while it looped formerly only a part of them. The problem is that the last entry, SPDIF1, is a special type that is used only for hw20k1 CTSB073X model (as a replacement of SPDIFIO), and there is no corresponding definition for hw20k2. Due to the lack of the info, it caused a kernel crash on hw20k2, which was already worked around by the commit b045ab3dff97 ("ALSA: ctxfi: Fix missing SPDIFI1 index handling"). This patch addresses the root cause of the regression above properly, simply by skipping the incorrect SPDIF1 type in the parser loop. For making the change clearer, the code is slightly arranged, too.

Authelia is an open-source authentication and authorization server providing two-factor authentication and single sign-on (SSO) for applications via a web portal. In version 4.39.15, an attacker may potentially be able to inject javascript into the Authelia login page if several conditions are met simultaneously. Unless both the `script-src` and `connect-src` directives have been modified it's almost impossible for this to have a meaningful impact. However if both of these are and they are done so without consideration to their potential impact; there is a are situations where this vulnerability could be exploited. This is caused to the lack of neutralization of the `langauge` cookie value when rendering the HTML template. This vulnerability is likely difficult to discover though fingerprinting due to the way Authelia is designed but it should not be considered impossible. The additional requirement to identify the secondary application is however likely to be significantly harder to identify along side this, but also likely easier to fingerprint. Users should upgrade to 4.39.16 or downgrade to 4.39.14 to mitigate the issue. The overwhelming majority of installations will not be af

  • Mar 12, 2026The Honeywell IQ4x building management controller, exposes its full web-based HMI without authentication in its factory-default configuration.CVE-2026-3611 · Other software · Honeywell · reported by ics-cert@hq.dhs.govCritical 10

The Honeywell IQ4x building management controller, exposes its full web-based HMI without authentication in its factory-default configuration. With no user module configured, security is disabled by design and the system operates under a System Guest (level 100) context, granting read/write privileges to any party able to reach the HTTP interface. Authentication controls are only enforced after a web user is created via U.htm, which dynamically enables the user module. Because this function is accessible prior to authentication, a remote user can create a new account with administrative read/write permissions enabling the user module and imposing authentication under attacker-controlled credentials. This action can effectively lock legitimate operators out of local and web-based configuration and administration.

2FAuth is a web app to manage Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) accounts and generate their security codes. Prior to 6.1.0, a blind SSRF vulnerability exists in 2FAuth that allows authenticated users to make arbitrary HTTP requests from the server to internal networks and cloud metadata endpoints. The image parameter in OTP URL is not properly validated for internal / private IP addresses before making HTTP requests. While the previous fix added response validation to ensure only valid images are stored but HTTP request is still made to arbitrary URLs before this validation occurs. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.1.0.
