Oct 8, 2026Indico is an event management system that uses Flask-Multipass, a multi-backend authentication system for Flask.CVE-2026-107395 · Other software · indico · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3
Indico is an event management system that uses Flask-Multipass, a multi-backend authentication system for Flask. Prior to 3.3.13, an authenticated user can misuse the legacy session export API to retrieve details for a restricted session without access to that session, as long as the containing event is accessible. The missing access check can disclose session metadata such as the title, description, and conveners. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.13.

Indico is an event management system that uses Flask-Multipass, a multi-backend authentication system for Flask. Prior to 3.3.13, the previous fix for CVE-2026-25738 did not cover an edge case, allowing an event organizer to submit a crafted URL that points to a prohibited local target but is accepted as valid by Indico. The organizer can read data returned by the target through affected Indico features. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.13.

Oct 7, 2026MISP contains a defect in its event save workflow that prevents the correlation engine from recalculating correlations when an event's distribution level or shaCVE-2026-107175 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.3
MISP contains a defect in its event save workflow that prevents the correlation engine from recalculating correlations when an event's distribution level or sharing group is modified. When a user edits an existing event and changes its distribution or sharing_group_id, the internal before-save hook stored the incoming (new) data rather than the previously persisted values. As a result, the after-save comparison that determines whether a correlation refresh is needed never detected the change, and stale correlations persisted. Security impact: - Stale correlations may continue to expose event data to users in a broader sharing group after the event has been moved to a more restrictive group, resulting in unintended information disclosure. - Conversely, newly relevant correlations may not appear after a distribution widening, degrading the completeness of threat intelligence sharing. Preconditions: - An authenticated user with write access to at least one MISP event. - The user modifies the event's distribution or sharing_group_id field. Affected versions: <2.5.48

Oct 6, 2026Gitea Actions decided whether a fork pull request run needed approval based on the user who triggered the event rather than the pull request author.CVE-2026-94205 · Other software · Gitea · reported by 88ee5874-cf24-4952-aea0-31affedb7ff2Critical 9.8
Gitea Actions decided whether a fork pull request run needed approval based on the user who triggered the event rather than the pull request author. For `pull_request` activity triggered by a maintainer during ordinary triage, such as adding a label, the run was created without requiring approval, while the workflow definition was still taken from the fork head. Where Actions is enabled and a matching runner is registered, fork-controlled workflow code could run on the base repository's runners without an explicit approval.

Oct 6, 2026Twisted is an event-based framework for internet applications, supporting Python 3.6+.CVE-2026-106454 · Other software · twisted · reported by GitHubMedium 4.3
Twisted is an event-based framework for internet applications, supporting Python 3.6+. In 25.5.0 and earlier, wildcardToRegexp() in twisted/mail/imap4.py translates the IMAP asterisk and percent wildcards but passes all other characters from an authenticated client's LIST or LSUB pattern directly to re.compile(), allowing nested or otherwise expensive regular expression constructs to cause catastrophic backtracking when matched against mailbox names. Because Twisted uses a cooperative single-threaded reactor, the blocking match suspends all server input and output for the duration of the match. No fixed release is available as of this review.

Oct 6, 2026Insufficient Logging vulnerability in the EventLogAppender of Apache log4net.CVE-2026-105243 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 5.3
Insufficient Logging vulnerability in the EventLogAppender of Apache log4net. Long messages were truncated to a fixed size that exceeds what the Windows Event Log accepts once the log and source names are counted, and the event log then stored nothing and reported nothing. A party whose data reaches a log message could suppress the whole record by making it long enough. Only applications on Windows that use EventLogAppender are affected. Improper Neutralization of Null Byte or NUL Character vulnerability in the EventLogAppender of Apache log4net. A NUL character in logged content ended the Windows Event Log record at that point, so everything the layout rendered after it, including exception text and trailing fields, was silently not stored. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm: Fix drm_pending_vblank_event leak in error path for out_fence_ptr When an out_fence_ptr is provided but DRM_MODE_PAGE_FLIP_EVENT is not set, a drm_pending_vblank_event will be allocated. If later, there is an allocation failure or another failure at setup_out_fence(), that event will not have base.fence set and it will not be released at complete_signaling(). Release the event and set crtc_state->event to NULL just like in the DRM_MODE_PAGE_FLIP_EVENT case when there is a failure at drm_event_reserve_init(). That is, prepare_signaling() releases the event and there is nothing to be done at complete_signaling(). Use drm_event_cancel_free() as that will also undo drm_event_reserve_init() in case it has been called.

Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btmtksdio, btmtkuart: validate WMT event length before struct access btmtksdio.CVE-2026-98292 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btmtksdio, btmtkuart: validate WMT event length before struct access btmtksdio.c and btmtkuart.c cast a received WMT event straight to struct btmtk_hci_wmt_evt and read its op/flag fields without checking the event is long enough to contain them, unlike btmtk.c. The FUNC_CTRL case then further casts to struct btmtk_hci_wmt_evt_funcc and reads its 2-byte status field, again without a length check. Firmware that sends a short or malformed WMT event makes both drivers read past the end of the received SKB. Mirror btmtk.c: validate the base WMT header with skb_pull_data() before touching any of its fields, and when a FUNC_CTRL event turns out to be the short, header-only form (a plain enable/disable ack with no status word), decode the result from the header's own flag byte instead (0 = success, otherwise failure). Verified setup on MT7920, MT7921, MT7922 and MT7925: no regression.

Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drop_monitor: use timer_shutdown_sync() to prevent timer rearming during teardown In drop_CVE-2026-98286 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drop_monitor: use timer_shutdown_sync() to prevent timer rearming during teardown In drop_monitor teardown paths (net_dm_trace_off_set(), net_dm_hw_monitor_stop(), and error unwind paths in net_dm_trace_on_set() and net_dm_hw_monitor_start()), per-CPU timers are stopped using timer_delete_sync() followed by cancel_work_sync(). However, there is a circular dependency between send_timer and dm_alert_work: 1) sched_send_work() (timer callback) schedules dm_alert_work. 2) send_dm_alert() / net_dm_hw_summary_work() calls reset_per_cpu_data() or net_dm_hw_reset_per_cpu_data(). 3) If memory allocation fails under memory pressure in the reset function, it re-arms the timer via mod_timer(&data->send_timer, ...). If dm_alert_work is running concurrently while timer_delete_sync() executes on another CPU, an allocation failure in the worker will re-arm the timer after timer_delete_sync() has already returned. Once cancel_work_sync() completes and module_put() is called, the timer remains active in the timer wheel. If the module is then unloaded, the timer will fire and execute sched_send_work() in freed memory, trigg

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: mvpp2: prevent buffer overflow in page_pool allocation The per‑processor buffering scheme is supported only if the number of pools (nrxqs * 2) does not exceed MVPP2_BM_MAX_POOLS (8). This is already checked in mvpp2_probe() during the initial activation of percpu_pools. However, mvpp2_change_mtu() may later call mvpp2_bm_switch_buffers(priv, true) without this check, which can lead to an out-of-bounds access in the priv->page_pool array in mvpp2_bm_init(). The array is sized to hold MVPP2_PORT_MAX_RXQ entries, and mvpp2_get_nrxqs() may return exactly that value. The per-CPU scheme then doubles it to nrxqs * 2, exceeding the array bounds. Check that the hardware version is MVPP22 or newer and that the number of pools (nrxqs * 2) does not exceed MVPP2_BM_MAX_POOLS before switching to per-CPU mode. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf: Fix null pointer access in is_include_guest_event() A typical module unload occurring event when there is an active perf connection leads to freeing of the pmu pointer. The call log is something like: .. __pmu_detach_event pmu_detach_event pmu_detach_events perf_pmu_unregister .. __pmu_detach_event() sets event->pmu to null. When the perf connection finally is closed, the following stack trace is observed: Oops: general protection fault, kernel NULL pointer dereference ... RIP: 0010:_free_event+0x3e/0x370 ... Call Trace: ... perf_event_release_kernel+0x260/0x2d0 perf_release+0x12/0x20 A call to mediated_pmu_unaccount_event() inside _free_event() is the root cause of this crash. Adding a check inside is_include_guest_event() ensures we don't accidentally access a null pmu ptr. Oct 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mwifiex: prevent authentication frame length truncation mwifiex_cfg80211_authenticatCVE-2026-98184 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mwifiex: prevent authentication frame length truncation mwifiex_cfg80211_authenticate() derives the authentication frame length from req->ie_len and req->auth_data_len, both of type size_t, but stores it in a u16. NL80211_ATTR_AUTH_DATA only has a minimum length policy. Since nla_len is a u16, a single attribute can carry up to 65531 bytes of payload, so the sum can exceed U16_MAX before it is assigned to pkt_len. The truncated pkt_len determines the skb frame area, while the copy length remains req->auth_data_len - 4, resulting in a heap buffer overflow. For example, with auth_data_len equal to 65510 and no IEs, the sum is 65546. It is truncated to 10 and then reduced by four to 6. The driver appends only six bytes to the skb with skb_put(), but then copies 65506 user-provided bytes into the authentication body. Reaching this path requires CAP_NET_ADMIN in the user namespace owning the network namespace, an up station netdev, and a suitable BSS/SAE authentication request. Compute the length in size_t, reject values that cannot be represented by the firmware's u16 frame length field, and only then assig

Joomla Extension - svenbluege.de - Server-side request forgery in the Google Photos picker in Event Gallery extension < 6.6.0 - The Google Photos picker of the back-end upload page fetches the thumbnails of the picked images through the server, with the OAuth access token of the Google Photos account. The task took the address to fetch from the request without checking it and asked for no form token. A prepared page on another web site could therefore make the server send the access token of the account to any address, or fetch addresses inside the server's network, in the name of a logged in administrator; a back-end user with the permission "Manage" could do the same directly. The token is valid for about an hour and reaches what the picker session of the account reaches.

Joomla Extension - svenbluege.de - Cross-site scripting and open redirect on the share mini page in Event Gallery extension < 6.6.0 - The page a shared image link opens (the share mini page of the front end) can link the article the image was shared from when the option "Share article links" is on. It took the address of the article from the shared link and printed it into the page without checking or escaping it; with the link type "Image Page with Redirect" it followed the address at once. A prepared link could therefore run a script in the page, in the session of the visitor who opened it, or send the visitor to another web site. Nothing on the server is changed or read by the server.

Oct 2, 2026MISP contains an authorization bypass in the related events listing functionality.CVE-2026-104910 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.3
MISP contains an authorization bypass in the related events listing functionality. When a user requests the list of events correlated to a given event, the system retrieved related event metadata directly from the correlation table without re-validating the caller's access rights against each related event. The correlation table stores a snapshot of the event's distribution level and sharing group at the time the correlation was created, and does not carry the published flag. As a result, events that the caller is not permitted to open—because they are unpublished, or because their distribution or sharing group has changed since the correlation was recorded—were still returned with their metadata (title, date, correlating value counts). Preconditions: - An authenticated user with access to at least one event in MISP. - The existence of correlation entries linking that event to other events the user should not be able to view. Impact: - Unauthorized disclosure of event metadata (titles, dates, correlation counts) for events the user has no right to access. - Potential reconnaissance of threat-intelligence event names and timelines across sharing groups. Oct 2, 2026MISP contains a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the remote event preview page.CVE-2026-104907 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 4.8
MISP contains a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the remote event preview page. When a linked (remote) MISP server is configured, the event preview renders tag identifiers inside an inline JavaScript onclick attribute. The tag ID value was HTML-escaped but not sanitized for the JavaScript string context, meaning a malicious linked server could supply a tag ID containing characters (such as a single quote) that break out of the JavaScript string literal and inject arbitrary script. Preconditions: - A linked/remote MISP server is configured and connected to the local instance. - The linked server supplies a crafted tag ID in an event. - An authenticated user views the event preview and interacts with the affected tag element. Impact: - Arbitrary JavaScript execution in the context of the viewing user's browser session, potentially allowing session hijacking, data exfiltration, or unauthorized actions on behalf of the user. Affected versions: MISP prior to the fix commit (v2.5.48 or later, exact boundary unconfirmed).

Oct 2, 2026MISP contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the index table rendering of the remote event preview.CVE-2026-104900 · Other software · MISP · reported by 5a6e4751-2f3f-4070-9419-94fb35b644e8Medium 5.3
MISP contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the index table rendering of the remote event preview. The count field template escaped the associated link URL but rendered the field value without HTML encoding. An attacker with the ability to create or modify events on a linked (remote) MISP server could craft an event identifier containing HTML or JavaScript markup. When a user on the local MISP instance views the remote event preview index, the unescaped value is rendered directly in the browser, allowing arbitrary script execution in the victim's session. Preconditions: - A linked/remote MISP server is configured and connected to the local instance. - The attacker has sufficient access on the linked server to create or modify an event with a crafted identifier. - A victim user on the local instance views the remote event preview index page. Impact: - Execution of arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the MISP web application. - Potential session hijacking, data exfiltration, or unauthorized actions performed on behalf of the authenticated user. Affected versions: <2.5.48.

Oct 2, 2026Event Tickets and Registration: Generic SQL InjectionCVE-2026-97634 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.5
The Event Tickets and Registration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'orderby' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.29.5 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. A Contributor-level user can reach the vulnerable code path by supplying a post_id they authored, as the can_access_page() gate requires only post authorship rather than the edit_others_posts capability for post owners.

MISP contains an authorization bypass in the event flattening feature. When a user requests an event with the flatten option enabled, the application removes the Object containment from the query and returns object attributes as top-level event attributes. In doing so, the object-level distribution and sharing-group access control check was not re-applied to those attributes. As a result, a user who can view a community-distributed event could retrieve attributes belonging to organisation-only objects (distribution level 0) or objects restricted to a specific sharing group, even though the user's organisation does not have access to those objects. This constitutes an unauthorized disclosure of sensitive threat intelligence data. A secondary issue was introduced by the initial remediation: the fix reused the full Object contain conditions (including soft-delete state) as the gate for flattened attributes, causing an event owner requesting deleted attributes to lose all attributes whose parent object was still live. The final fix isolates the distribution ACL condition as the sole gate. Preconditions: - An authenticated user with access to a community-distributed event - The eve
