  • Sep 18, 2026LatePoint – Calendar Booking Plugin for Appointments and Events: Insecure Direct Object ReferenceCVE-2026-13471 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 4.3

The LatePoint – Calendar Booking Plugin for Appointments and Events plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 5.6.3 via the LatePointAbilityDeleteBooking::execute due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This vulnerability is only exploitable when an administrator has enabled the Abilities API toggles (latepoint_abilities_api, latepoint_abilities_api_delete, and/or latepoint_abilities_api_edit) in the plugin settings.

  • Sep 15, 2026Eventin – Event Calendar, Tickets, Registration, Booking & WooCommerce: Privilege EscalationCVE-2026-75983 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The Eventin – Event Calendar, Tickets, Registration, Booking & WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.23. This is due to the `PermissionManager::manage_permissions()` function being registered as a callback on WordPress core's `map_meta_cap` filter and unconditionally returning the always-true `'exist'` primitive for every capability check whenever the evaluated user ID is 1, without scoping this behavior to plugin-specific capabilities. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers whose account is user ID 1, even subscribers, to pass every WordPress capability check, including `manage_options`, `edit_plugins`, `edit_themes`, `promote_users`, and `update_core`, thereby elevating their privileges to administrator-equivalent power and achieving full site takeover, including remote code execution via the plugin and theme editors. Exploitation is only impactful when user ID 1 has been deliberately demoted to a lower-privilege role as a common administrator-account hardening practice; on default installations where user ID 1 retains the administrator role, no incremental privilege gain occurs.

  • Sep 12, 2026Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-10148 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via multiple Elementor widgets in versions up to and including 2.4.9. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the 'load_manually' parameter in the render() methods of classes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above who can use Elementor, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The vulnerability was partially patched in version 2.4.8.

  • Sep 12, 2026The Events Calendar: Remote Code ExecutionCVE-2026-78159 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The The Events Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 6.17.3 via the parse_array function. This is due to insufficient validation of the widget 'classes' map, allowing a plain-array payload to bypass the is_safe_widget_instance() object check and reach the callable-invocation sink in Element_Classes::parse_array(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server. Exploitation requires that the targeted site has comments enabled on tribe_events posts and that at least one comment containing a crafted wp:legacy-widget block has been submitted, as the attack chain is triggered when do_blocks() processes the single-event HTML including the comment area.

    Product
    The Events Calendar

Affects up to 6.17.3. Update The Events Calendar to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.
  • Sep 12, 2026The Events Calendar: Remote Code ExecutionCVE-2026-78006 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.8

The The Events Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 6.17.4 via the is_safe_widget_instance function. This is due to insufficient protection in is_safe_widget_instance, which can be bypassed because PHP fires magic methods during its pre-parse, combined with enable_rendering_widget_copied() forging a valid wp_hash integrity attribute before unserialize() is reached. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server. This is exploitable without authentication or approval because the plugin's V2 single-event template runs do_blocks() over buffered comment HTML, and WordPress returns a moderation-hash URL that allows an unauthenticated commenter to immediately view their own pending comment, delivering the injected block markup to the vulnerable code path before any moderation occurs. This does require comments to be enabled and visible on events.

  • Sep 12, 2026Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar: Does not verify that a payment was actually taken before recording a bookingCVE-2026-77689 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanMedium 5.3

The Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar WordPress plugin before 9.8.1 does not verify that a payment was actually taken before recording a booking as paid, trusting the payment gateway named in a public, unauthenticated booking request even when the site has never configured that gateway. This lets an unauthenticated attacker obtain confirmed, fully paid appointments and events without any payment being collected.

  • Sep 10, 2026Site Reviews: Does not prevent request data from being deserializedCVE-2026-82925 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WPScanHigh 8.1

The Site Reviews WordPress plugin before 8.3.0 does not prevent request data from being deserialized, and derives the key protecting that data by padding out the site's WordPress nonce key, which makes the key publicly computable on installs where that key is absent, left at its sample value, or too short to be secret. This allows unauthenticated users to inject arbitrary PHP objects on such installs. The Site Reviews WordPress plugin before 8.3.0's own code contains no chain onward from the injected object, so how far it reaches depends on the other code present on the site.

  • Sep 9, 2026Several Newfold plugins are vulnerable to Authentication Bypass.CVE-2026-80099 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 8.8

Several Newfold plugins are vulnerable to Authentication Bypass. The vulnerability exists because the plugins bundle the wp-module-data module. In the module, the `authenticate()` method — registered on the `rest_authentication_errors` filter and therefore evaluated for every unauthenticated REST API request — performs an HMAC-style Bearer token comparison that degenerates when `HiiveConnection::get_auth_token()` returns `false`: PHP coerces `strrev(false)` to `strrev('')`, collapsing the secret salt to the publicly known constant `hash('sha256', '') = e3b0c44...`, while all remaining hash inputs (HTTP method, request URL, raw request body, and the `X-Timestamp` header) remain fully attacker-controlled. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to compute a valid Bearer token entirely offline, pass the token equality check, and have `wp_set_current_user()` invoked against the first administrator returned by `get_users(['role' => 'administrator'])`, granting full administrator-level access and enabling arbitrary REST API operations such as creating new administrator accounts and achieving complete site takeover. Vulnerable versions are WP Plugin Crazy Domains (<= 2.5.2),

    Affected
    up to 2.9.4
    What to do
Affects up to 2.9.4. Update the plugin to the newest version and check its changelog mentions this fix; if there isn’t one yet, deactivate it until there is.

  • Sep 9, 2026My Calendar – Accessible Event Manager: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-77186 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The My Calendar – Accessible Event Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'fallback' Shortcode Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 3.8.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The bypass relies on hex-encoded shortcode attribute payloads (e.g. \x3cscript\x3e), which wp_kses_post cannot strip on save because they appear as literal backslash sequences rather than real HTML tags; WordPress core's shortcode_parse_atts() then calls stripcslashes() at render time, decoding the escapes into real angle brackets before they reach the unescaped sink.

  • Sep 8, 2026Eventin – Event Calendar, Event Registration, Tickets & Booking (AI Powered): Local File InclusionCVE-2026-15667 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceHigh 7.5

The Eventin – Event Calendar, Event Registration, Tickets & Booking (AI Powered) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.22 via the 'event_layout' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to include and execute arbitrary .php files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where .php file types can be uploaded and included. The etn_manage_event capability is assigned to Contributors by default, meaning any Contributor-level user can set the malicious event_layout value via the REST API without any additional configuration.
