Oct 6, 2025When decoding an OpenEXR file that uses DWAA or DWAB compression, there's an implicit assumption that the height and width are divisible by 8.CVE-2025-59732 · Other software · FFmpeg · reported by cve-coordination@google.comHigh 8.7
When decoding an OpenEXR file that uses DWAA or DWAB compression, there's an implicit assumption that the height and width are divisible by 8. If the height or width of the image is not divisible by 8, the copy loops at [0] and [1] will continue to write until the next multiple of 8. The buffer td->uncompressed_data is allocated in decode_block based on the precise height and width of the image, so the "rounded-up" multiple of 8 in the copy loop can exceed the buffer bounds, and the write block starting at [2] can corrupt following heap memory. We recommend upgrading to version 8.0 or beyond.

Oct 3, 2025Schema Plugin For Divi, Gutenberg & Shortcodes: Object InstantiationCVE-2025-7825 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.3
The Schema Plugin For Divi, Gutenberg & Shortcodes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Object Instantiation in all versions up to, and including, 4.3.2 via deserialization of untrusted input via the wpt_schema_breadcrumbs shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/reclaim: avoid divide-by-zero in damon_reclaim_apply_parameters() When creating a new scheme of DAMON_RECLAIM, the calculation of 'min_age_region' uses 'aggr_interval' as the divisor, which may lead to division-by-zero errors. Oct 1, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/lru_sort: avoid divide-by-zero in damon_lru_sort_apply_parameters() Patch series CVE-2025-39909 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/lru_sort: avoid divide-by-zero in damon_lru_sort_apply_parameters() Patch series "mm/damon: avoid divide-by-zero in DAMON module's parameters application". DAMON's RECLAIM and LRU_SORT modules perform no validation on user-configured parameters during application, which may lead to division-by-zero errors. Avoid the divide-by-zero by adding validation checks when DAMON modules attempt to apply the parameters. This patch (of 2): During the calculation of 'hot_thres' and 'cold_thres', either 'sample_interval' or 'aggr_interval' is used as the divisor, which may lead to division-by-zero errors. Fix it by directly returning -EINVAL when such a case occurs. Additionally, since 'aggr_interval' is already required to be set no smaller than 'sample_interval' in damon_set_attrs(), only the case where 'sample_interval' is zero needs to be checked.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon: fix divide by zero in damon_get_intervals_score() The current implementation allows having zero size regions with no special reasons, but damon_get_intervals_score() gets crashed by divide by zero when the region size is zero. [ 29.403950] Oops: divide error: 0000 [#1] SMP NOPTI This patch fixes the bug, but does not disallow zero size regions to keep the backward compatibility since disallowing zero size regions might be a breaking change for some users. In addition, the same crash can happen when intervals_goal.access_bp is zero so this should be fixed in stable trees as well.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: fb_pm2fb: Avoid potential divide by zero error In `do_fb_ioctl()` of fbmem.c, if cmd is FBIOPUT_VSCREENINFO, var will be copied from user, then go through `fb_set_var()` and `info->fbops->fb_check_var()` which could may be `pm2fb_check_var()`. Along the path, `var->pixclock` won't be modified. This function checks whether reciprocal of `var->pixclock` is too high. If `var->pixclock` is zero, there will be a divide by zero error.
