  • Oct 9, 2026Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('path traversal') vulnerability in Apache Camel Karavan.CVE-2026-103412 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 8.8

Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('path traversal') vulnerability in Apache Camel Karavan. A project file name supplied through the project file API was used verbatim as a path segment when the project was written to the working copy for a Git commit, so a name containing `../` sequences caused the file content to be written outside the project directory, to any location writable by the Karavan process. An authenticated user of any role could use this to overwrite application configuration or files on the application classpath and so execute code in the Karavan container. This issue affects Apache Camel Karavan: from 3.18.0 before 4.22.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.22.1, which fixes the issue.

  • Oct 8, 2026Super Forms – Drag & Drop Form Builder: Arbitrary Directory DeletionCVE-2026-17609 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.1

The Super Forms – Drag & Drop Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary Directory Deletion in all versions up to, and including, 6.3.316 via the submit_form function. This is due to insufficient validation of attacker-controlled JSON field declarations against the actual form schema, combined with a non-effective ABSPATH guard that dirname() trivially bypasses by stripping the trailing slash. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to recursively delete arbitrary directories on the server, including the WordPress root directory. Exploitation requires that an administrator has enabled the 'Delete files from server after form submissions' setting, though this is a documented and commonly-enabled feature.

  • Oct 7, 2026Claude Code validated that a target file path resided within the project working directory at permission-check time, but re-resolved the path at write time withCVE-2026-103435 · Other software · Anthropic · reported by 98a01053-8a31-4f6d-9aa9-252be161adc6High 7.7

Claude Code validated that a target file path resided within the project working directory at permission-check time, but re-resolved the path at write time without repeating that validation. This time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) gap allowed an attacker who could write to the workspace to atomically replace a project file with a symlink, causing Claude Code to follow the symlink and write its output to an arbitrary file outside the project sandbox. Exploitation required the ability to win a race condition against the write operation and write access to the shared workspace, enabling a lower-privileged attacker to redirect benign edits to sensitive files (e.g., shell configuration) in a higher-privileged session. Users on standard Claude Code auto-update have received this fix already. Users performing manual updates are advised to update to the latest version. The GeoDirectory plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the stored latitude/longitude coordinates of a listing in versions up to, and including, 2.8.186. This is due to insufficient escaping and the absence of numeric validation on coordinate values when a listing is saved, combined with the direct string interpolation of those values into a distance sub-expression in geodir_gps_query_part() that is later executed by the public wp_ajax_nopriv_geodir_widget_listings handler when a caller supplies set_post=<pending-listing-id> and sort_by=distance_asc. The Ultimate Member – User Profile, Registration, Login, Member Directory, Content Restriction & Membership Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.13.1 This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to view privacy-restricted member profile field values — including fields explicitly configured as owner-only, members-only, or role-restricted — by querying the publicly accessible wp_ajax_nopriv_um_get_members endpoint. The nonce required by the endpoint ('um-frontend-nonce') is emitted to all unauthenticated visitors via wp_localize_script, meaning it provides no meaningful access control and any anonymous visitor can satisfy the endpoint's authentication requirements.

  • Oct 2, 2026Memory allocation with excessive size value vulnerability in Apache Directory LDAP API.CVE-2026-102731 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgHigh 7.5

Memory allocation with excessive size value vulnerability in Apache Directory LDAP API. A malicious peer (or a MITM) can send a small BER-encoded response causing a large memory allocation before any data is received. This can lead to an OutOfMemoryError and denial of service. The client JVM OOMs (OutOfMemoryError bypasses the DecoderException handlers) or pins the large allocation per connection while the attacker stalls. A handful of connections exhausts any heap. The same bytes from an unauthenticated pre-bind client hit any embedding server that did not set MAX_PDU_SIZE_ATTR. This issue affects Apache Directory LDAP API: from 1.2.0 before 1.2.9. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.2.9, which fixes the issue.

  • Oct 2, 2026Listdom: AI-powered Business Directory with Classifieds Ads Listings: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-96647 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4

The Listdom: AI-powered Business Directory with Classifieds Ads Listings plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'lsd[remark]' Parameter in all versions up to, and including, 6.1.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable by Subscriber-level users because the listing-creation branch of the AJAX handler omits a capability check, and the required nonce is publicly emitted on any page containing the [listdom-dashboard] shortcode.

Improper certificate validation in the directoryName name-constraint check (PkixNameConstraintValidator.WithinDNSubtree) in Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. bc-csharp before 2.7.0 allows an attacker who controls, or can have certificates issued by, a name-constrained intermediate CA to get certificates accepted by PKIX path validation whose subject distinguished name, or a directoryName subjectAltName, lies outside the CA's permitted subtrees, via a name that places other RDNs ahead of a copy of the permitted RDN sequence, because the check looks for the constraint's first RDN anywhere in the name and compares the remaining RDNs from that position, instead of requiring the constraint to be an initial prefix of the name as RFC 5280 sections 4.2.1.10 and 7.1 require.

  • Oct 2, 2026Super Forms – Drag & Drop Form Builder: Directory TraversalCVE-2026-15896 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceCritical 9.1

The Super Forms – Drag & Drop Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 6.3.316 via the parse_request function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. The optional 'file_upload_auth' setting defaults to empty, meaning no authentication is required in the default configuration; enabling this setting mitigates unauthenticated exploitation but does not remediate the path traversal itself. Exploitation on Linux requires a real 13-digit timestamp directory to exist, whereas on Windows the traversal works with any hardcoded 13-digit prefix. However, the plugin's file upload response returns the name of the created directory, which means the vulnerability is exploitable as long as file upload is enabled on the form.

  • Oct 1, 2026A flaw was found in 389-ds-base.CVE-2026-86345 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatCritical 9

A flaw was found in 389-ds-base. The server does not discard plaintext bytes already buffered from a client connection when negotiating StartTLS, allowing an on-path attacker to inject a crafted LDAP message that is processed after the TLS upgrade and whose response is delivered to the client in place of the client's own pending operation's response, due to messageID collision. This can cause a client application to treat a failed authentication (bind) attempt as successful.

  • Oct 1, 2026A flaw was found in 389-ds-base.CVE-2026-86344 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 7.5

A flaw was found in 389-ds-base. An unauthenticated remote attacker can send a complete LDAP operation followed by the first bytes of an incomplete LDAPMessage on the same connection, causing the server to hand that connection to a second worker thread before the first worker's result is flushed. The second worker blocks until nsslapd-ioblocktimeout while holding the connection mutex, preventing delivery of the completed operation's result. Repeating this across a small number of connections proportional to the configured worker-thread pool size exhausts the entire pool under default configuration, denying service to all clients (anonymous and authenticated, plaintext and TLS) for as long as the attacker maintains the connections.
