  • Sep 18, 2026A flaw was found in Netty.CVE-2026-93569 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 8.2

A flaw was found in Netty. A remote unauthenticated attacker can exploit a vulnerability in Netty's HTTP/1 to HTTP/2 conversion process. When an HTTP/1 request includes both an absolute-form request-target and a conflicting Host header, Netty incorrectly prioritizes the Host header for the HTTP/2 :authority field, discarding the original request-target authority. This inconsistency can allow an attacker to bypass security controls in Netty-based proxies or gateways, potentially leading to unauthorized access, cache poisoning, or misrouting of requests.

  • Sep 18, 2026A flaw was found in Netty.CVE-2026-93568 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 7.5

A flaw was found in Netty. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted HTTP/2 or HTTP/3 Extended CONNECT requests. Netty's HTTP-object conversion path incorrectly processes these requests as regular HTTP/1.1 CONNECT requests, leading to a loss of critical protocol and path information. This misinterpretation can allow attackers to bypass security policies, such as routing or authorization logic, in applications that rely on Netty for HTTP/2 or HTTP/3 communication, resulting in integrity loss.

  • Sep 18, 2026A flaw was found in Netty's HTTP/2 codec.CVE-2026-93567 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 7.5

A flaw was found in Netty's HTTP/2 codec. When converting HTTP/1 CONNECT requests to HTTP/2, the component incorrectly uses the Host header instead of the CONNECT authority-form request-target for the tunnel authority. A remote attacker can exploit this by supplying a different Host header, leading to a malformed HTTP/2 CONNECT request. This can bypass security controls such as tunnel allow-lists or egress policies, resulting in integrity loss.

  • Sep 18, 2026A flaw was found in Netty RtspDecoder.CVE-2026-93565 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 7.5

A flaw was found in Netty RtspDecoder. The `RtspMethods.valueOf()` function incorrectly strips trailing control bytes from method tokens in Real-Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) requests. A remote attacker can exploit this by sending a specially crafted RTSP request, leading to method-token smuggling. This vulnerability allows an attacker to bypass method-based access controls and can also be used to launder malicious requests through Netty-based RTSP proxies, making them appear legitimate to backend systems.

  • Sep 18, 2026A flaw was found in Netty's WebSocketServerExtensionHandler.CVE-2026-93558 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 7.5

A flaw was found in Netty's WebSocketServerExtensionHandler. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by using HTTP/1.1 pipelining to send requests faster than the application can respond. This leads to an unbounded growth of a per-connection queue, consuming excessive memory. Eventually, this can cause the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) to exhaust its heap, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the affected server.

  • Sep 18, 2026A flaw was found in Netty.CVE-2026-93488 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatHigh 7.5

A flaw was found in Netty. SpdySessionHandler accepts an unlimited number of concurrent remote-initiated streams because localConcurrentStreams defaults to Integer.MAX_VALUE and the handler provides no API to change it. A remote peer can open a SPDY connection and send a large number of SYN_STREAM frames with FLAG_FIN=0, causing unbounded heap and direct memory allocation that can lead to JVM OutOfMemoryError and a denial of service.

  • Sep 18, 2026A flaw was found in Netty's Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) Client.CVE-2026-93578 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 5.9

A flaw was found in Netty's Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) Client. The client fails to verify the 'id-kp-OCSPSigning' Extended Key Usage (EKU) in OCSP responder certificates. A remote attacker, holding any valid certificate issued by the same Certificate Authority (CA), can exploit this by forging 'GOOD' OCSP responses for revoked certificates. This bypasses certificate revocation checks, allowing applications using Netty's OCSP Client to accept certificates that should have been revoked, leading to an authorization bypass.

  • Sep 18, 2026A flaw was found in io.netty/netty-codec-memcache.CVE-2026-93561 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 6.5

A flaw was found in io.netty/netty-codec-memcache. The Memcache binary protocol codec incorrectly reads `keyLength` and `extrasLength` as signed Java types instead of unsigned, as specified by the protocol. A malicious Memcache server can exploit this type mismatch by sending a specially crafted response. This can lead to frame desynchronization and response smuggling, where one client's data may be inadvertently exposed to another client's response stream in proxy or cache environments.

  • Sep 18, 2026A flaw was found in Netty's `netty-handler-ssl-ocsp` component.CVE-2026-93493 · Other software · Red Hat · reported by Red HatMedium 5.9

A flaw was found in Netty's `netty-handler-ssl-ocsp` component. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by providing an Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) response that omits the optional `nextUpdate` field. This omission causes the OCSP validation to be silently skipped, leading to applications proceeding with an unvalidated certificate. This can result in a bypass of security controls where certificate validation is expected.

A flaw was found in hawtio-operator. When a custom Route TLS secret is configured and the operator runs at debug log level 1 or higher, the entire Route object — including the TLS private key in PEM format — is serialized to JSON and written to the operator's standard output. Operator logs are typically forwarded to centralized logging systems and readable by anyone with pods/log access in the openshift-operators namespace. Debug level 1 is a low threshold commonly enabled during troubleshooting.

A flaw was found in hawtio-operator. The operator holds routes/custom-host:create permission cluster-wide and writes the tenant-supplied spec.routeHostName value from the Hawtio custom resource directly into the Route spec without validation or authorization checks. A namespace edit user, who normally cannot set custom Route hostnames, can use the operator as a confused deputy to claim arbitrary externally-routable hostnames, enabling subdomain takeover and, in combination with the auto-grant OAuthClient, OAuth redirect hijack.

Missing Authentication for Critical Function (CWE-306) in the checkout session lookup handler (src/app/api/stripe/checkout_sessions/route.ts), exposed at GET /api/stripe/checkout_sessions, in MarcosCamara01 Ecommerce Template before commit 91e273c allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker holding a valid Stripe Checkout Session id (cs_...) to retrieve the full session object, including the buyer's name, email, phone, billing address, amount paid and internal userId, because the GET handler calls stripe.checkout.sessions.retrieve() and returns the result without checking for an authenticated session or session ownership. Sibling endpoints such as POST /api/stripe/payment already enforced authentication via auth.api.getSession(); this endpoint had no access control whatsoever. The session_id is exposed in the buyer's own browser URL after payment (success_url = /result?session_id={CHECKOUT_SESSION_ID}), so it leaks through Referer headers, analytics tools, server access logs and shared-machine browser history, resulting in disclosure of the buyer's personal data to an unauthenticated actor.

  • Sep 9, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: host-generic: Fix NULL pointer dereference on 32-bit CAM systems On 32-bit systems thCVE-2026-80917 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: host-generic: Fix NULL pointer dereference on 32-bit CAM systems On 32-bit systems the config space is too large to ioremap in one go, so pci_ecam_create() maps each bus segment separately and relies on the ->add_bus callback (pci_ecam_add_bus) to populate the per-bus mapping in cfg->winp[]. pci_ecam_map_bus() then uses that mapping as the base for every config access. The generic ECAM ops (pci_generic_ecam_ops) already provide the ->add_bus and ->remove_bus callbacks, but the CAM (legacy) ops in pci-host-generic.c do not. As a result, on a 32-bit host using "pci-host-cam-generic" the per-bus mapping is never set up and the first config read dereferences a NULL base, crashing during bus enumeration: Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000800 Oops [#1] CPU: 0 PID: 1 Comm: swapper Not tainted 6.9.7+ #43 Hardware name: Digilent Nexys-Video-A7 RV32 (DT) epc : pci_generic_config_read+0x40/0xb0 ra : pci_generic_config_read+0x2c/0xb0 [<c038db9c>] pci_generic_config_read+0x40/0xb0 [<c038da04>] pci_bus_read_config_dword+0x50/0xb0 [<c0391e94>] pci_bus_generic_read_dev_vend

Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories.
