May 8, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nfnetlink_queue: fix entry leak in bridge verdict error path nfqnl_recv_verdictCVE-2026-43451 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nfnetlink_queue: fix entry leak in bridge verdict error path nfqnl_recv_verdict() calls find_dequeue_entry() to remove the queue entry from the queue data structures, taking ownership of the entry. For PF_BRIDGE packets, it then calls nfqa_parse_bridge() to parse VLAN attributes. If nfqa_parse_bridge() returns an error (e.g. NFQA_VLAN present but NFQA_VLAN_TCI missing), the function returns immediately without freeing the dequeued entry or its sk_buff. This leaks the nf_queue_entry, its associated sk_buff, and all held references (net_device refcounts, struct net refcount). Repeated triggering exhausts kernel memory. Fix this by dropping the entry via nfqnl_reinject() with NF_DROP verdict on the error path, consistent with other error handling in this file.

May 8, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/bridge: samsung-dsim: Fix memory leak in error path In samsung_dsim_host_attach(), drmCVE-2026-43397 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/bridge: samsung-dsim: Fix memory leak in error path In samsung_dsim_host_attach(), drm_bridge_add() is called to add the bridge. However, if samsung_dsim_register_te_irq() or pdata->host_ops->attach() fails afterwards, the function returns without removing the bridge, causing a memory leak. Fix this by adding proper error handling with goto labels to ensure drm_bridge_remove() is called in all error paths. Also ensure that samsung_dsim_unregister_te_irq() is called if the attach operation fails after the TE IRQ has been registered. samsung_dsim_unregister_te_irq() function is moved without changes to be before samsung_dsim_host_attach() to avoid forward declaration.

The Optoma CinemaX P2 projector (firmware TVOS-04.24.010.04.01, Android 8.0.0) exposes Android Debug Bridge (ADB) on TCP port 5555 over the network without requiring authentication. The device is configured with ro.adb.secure=0, which disables RSA key verification. Additionally, a functional su binary exists at /system/xbin/su that grants root privileges without authentication. An attacker on the same network can connect to the device via ADB, obtain a shell, and escalate to root privileges, gaining complete control of the device. This allows extraction of stored WiFi credentials, installation of persistent malware, and access to all device data.

May 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: Fix pci_slot_trylock() error handling Commit a4e772898f8b ("PCI: Add missing bridge lCVE-2026-43211 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: Fix pci_slot_trylock() error handling Commit a4e772898f8b ("PCI: Add missing bridge lock to pci_bus_lock()") delegates the bridge device's pci_dev_trylock() to pci_bus_trylock() in pci_slot_trylock(), but it forgets to remove the corresponding pci_dev_unlock() when pci_bus_trylock() fails. Before a4e772898f8b, the code did: if (!pci_dev_trylock(dev)) /* <- lock bridge device */ goto unlock; if (dev->subordinate) { if (!pci_bus_trylock(dev->subordinate)) { pci_dev_unlock(dev); /* <- unlock bridge device */ goto unlock; } } After a4e772898f8b the bridge-device lock is no longer taken, but the pci_dev_unlock(dev) on the failure path was left in place, leading to the bug. This yields one of two errors: 1. A warning that the lock is being unlocked when no one holds it. 2. An incorrect unlock of a lock that belongs to another thread. Fix it by removing the now-redundant pci_dev_unlock(dev) on the failure path. [Same patch later posted by Keith at https://patch.msgid.link/20260116184150.3013258-1-kbusch@meta.com]

May 6, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bridge: guard local VLAN-0 FDB helpers against NULL vlan group When CONFIG_BRIDGE_VLAN_FILCVE-2026-43100 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bridge: guard local VLAN-0 FDB helpers against NULL vlan group When CONFIG_BRIDGE_VLAN_FILTERING is not set, br_vlan_group() and nbp_vlan_group() return NULL (br_private.h stub definitions). The BR_BOOLOPT_FDB_LOCAL_VLAN_0 toggle code is compiled unconditionally and reaches br_fdb_delete_locals_per_vlan_port() and br_fdb_insert_locals_per_vlan_port(), where the NULL vlan group pointer is dereferenced via list_for_each_entry(v, &vg->vlan_list, vlist). The observed crash is in the delete path, triggered when creating a bridge with IFLA_BR_MULTI_BOOLOPT containing BR_BOOLOPT_FDB_LOCAL_VLAN_0 via RTM_NEWLINK. Apr 25, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bridge: br_nd_send: linearize skb before parsing ND options br_nd_send() parses neighbour CVE-2026-31682 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Critical 9.1
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bridge: br_nd_send: linearize skb before parsing ND options br_nd_send() parses neighbour discovery options from ns->opt[] and assumes that these options are in the linear part of request. Its callers only guarantee that the ICMPv6 header and target address are available, so the option area can still be non-linear. Parsing ns->opt[] in that case can access data past the linear buffer. Linearize request before option parsing and derive ns from the linear network header.

Apr 13, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bridge: mrp: reject zero test interval to avoid OOM panic br_mrp_start_test() and br_mrp_sCVE-2026-31420 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bridge: mrp: reject zero test interval to avoid OOM panic br_mrp_start_test() and br_mrp_start_in_test() accept the user-supplied interval value from netlink without validation. When interval is 0, usecs_to_jiffies(0) yields 0, causing the delayed work (br_mrp_test_work_expired / br_mrp_in_test_work_expired) to reschedule itself with zero delay. This creates a tight loop on system_percpu_wq that allocates and transmits MRP test frames at maximum rate, exhausting all system memory and causing a kernel panic via OOM deadlock. The same zero-interval issue applies to br_mrp_start_in_test_parse() for interconnect test frames. Use NLA_POLICY_MIN(NLA_U32, 1) in the nla_policy tables for both IFLA_BRIDGE_MRP_START_TEST_INTERVAL and IFLA_BRIDGE_MRP_START_IN_TEST_INTERVAL, so zero is rejected at the netlink attribute parsing layer before the value ever reaches the workqueue scheduling code. This is consistent with how other bridge subsystems (br_fdb, br_mst) enforce range constraints on netlink attributes.

Apr 10, 2026The Log4j1XmlLayout from the Apache Log4j 1-to-Log4j 2 bridge fails to escape characters forbidden by the XML 1.0 standard, producing malformed XML output.CVE-2026-34479 · Websites & servers · Apache Software Foundation · reported by security@apache.orgMedium 6.9
The Log4j1XmlLayout from the Apache Log4j 1-to-Log4j 2 bridge fails to escape characters forbidden by the XML 1.0 standard, producing malformed XML output. Conforming XML parsers are required to reject documents containing such characters with a fatal error, which may cause downstream log processing systems to drop or fail to index affected records. Two groups of users are affected: * Those using Log4j1XmlLayout directly in a Log4j Core 2 configuration file. * Those using the Log4j 1 configuration compatibility layer with org.apache.log4j.xml.XMLLayout specified as the layout class. Users are advised to upgrade to Apache Log4j 1-to-Log4j 2 bridge version 2.25.4, which corrects this issue. Note: The Apache Log4j 1-to-Log4j 2 bridge is deprecated and will not be present in Log4j 3. Users are encouraged to consult the Log4j 1 to Log4j 2 migration guide https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/migrate-from-log4j1.html , and specifically the section on eliminating reliance on the bridge.

Mar 26, 2026Ory Polis, formerly known as BoxyHQ Jackson, bridges or proxies a SAML login flow to OAuth 2.0 or OpenID Connect.CVE-2026-33506 · Other software · ory · reported by GitHubHigh 8.8
Ory Polis, formerly known as BoxyHQ Jackson, bridges or proxies a SAML login flow to OAuth 2.0 or OpenID Connect. Versions prior to 26.2.0 contain a DOM-based Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Ory Polis's login functionality. The application improperly trusts a URL parameter (`callbackUrl`), which is passed to `router.push`. An attacker can craft a malicious link that, when opened by an authenticated user (or an unauthenticated user that later logs in), performs a client-side redirect and executes arbitrary JavaScript in the context of their browser. This could lead to credential theft, internal network pivoting, and unauthorized actions performed on behalf of the victim. Version 26.2.0 contains a patch for the issue.

Feb 14, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/bridge: synopsys: dw-dp: fix error paths of dw_dp_bind Fix several issues in dw_dp_binCVE-2026-23132 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/bridge: synopsys: dw-dp: fix error paths of dw_dp_bind Fix several issues in dw_dp_bind() error handling: 1. Missing return after drm_bridge_attach() failure - the function continued execution instead of returning an error. 2. Resource leak: drm_dp_aux_register() is not a devm function, so drm_dp_aux_unregister() must be called on all error paths after aux registration succeeds. This affects errors from: - drm_bridge_attach() - phy_init() - devm_add_action_or_reset() - platform_get_irq() - devm_request_threaded_irq() 3. Bug fix: platform_get_irq() returns the IRQ number or a negative error code, but the error path was returning ERR_PTR(ret) instead of ERR_PTR(dp->irq). Use a goto label for cleanup to ensure consistent error handling.

Jan 28, 2026Forms Bridge – Infinite integrations: Stored Cross-Site ScriptingCVE-2026-1244 · WordPress plugins & themes · reported by WordfenceMedium 6.4
The Forms Bridge – Infinite integrations plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'id' shortcode attribute in the 'financoop_campaign' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 4.2.5. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the user-supplied 'id' parameter in the forms_bridge_financoop_shortcode_error function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

It is because the error handling in vidtv_bridge_dvb_init() is wrong. First, vidtv_bridge_dmx(dev)_init() will clean themselves when fail, but goto fail_dmx(_dev): calls release functions again, which causes use-after-free. Also, in fail_fe, fail_tuner_probe and fail_demod_probe, j = i will cause out-of-bound when i finished its loop (i == NUM_FE). And the loop releasing is wrong, although now NUM_FE is 1 so it won't cause problem. Fix this by correctly releasing everything.
