In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath11k: fix memory leaks in beacon template setup The functions ath11k_mac_setup_bcn_tmpl_ema() and ath11k_mac_setup_bcn_tmpl_mbssid() allocate memory for beacon templates but fail to free it when parameter setup returns an error. Since beacon templates must be released during normal execution, they must also be released in the error handling paths to prevent memory leaks. Fix this by using unified exit paths with proper cleanup in the respective error paths. Compile tested only. Issue found using a prototype static analysis tool and code review.

  • Jun 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: fix locking in hci_conn_request_evt() with HCI_PROTO_DEFER When protocol sets HCVE-2026-53072 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: fix locking in hci_conn_request_evt() with HCI_PROTO_DEFER When protocol sets HCI_PROTO_DEFER, hci_conn_request_evt() calls hci_connect_cfm(conn) without hdev->lock. Generally hci_connect_cfm() assumes it is held, and if conn is deleted concurrently -> UAF. Only SCO and ISO set HCI_PROTO_DEFER and only for defer setup listen, and HCI_EV_CONN_REQUEST is not generated for ISO. In the non-deferred listening socket code paths, hci_connect_cfm(conn) is called with hdev->lock held. Fix by holding the lock.

  • Jun 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/bridge: cadence: cdns-mhdp8546-core: Set the mhdp connector earlier in atomic_enable() CVE-2026-53058 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/bridge: cadence: cdns-mhdp8546-core: Set the mhdp connector earlier in atomic_enable() In case if we get errors in cdns_mhdp_link_up() or cdns_mhdp_reg_read() in atomic_enable, we will go to cdns_mhdp_modeset_retry_fn() and will hit NULL pointer while trying to access the mutex. We need the connector to be set before that. Unlike in legacy cases with flag !DRM_BRIDGE_ATTACH_NO_CONNECTOR, we do not have connector initialised in bridge_attach(), so add the mhdp->connector_ptr in device structure to handle both cases with DRM_BRIDGE_ATTACH_NO_CONNECTOR and !DRM_BRIDGE_ATTACH_NO_CONNECTOR, set it in atomic_enable() earlier to avoid possible NULL pointer dereference in recovery paths like modeset_retry_fn() with the DRM_BRIDGE_ATTACH_NO_CONNECTOR flag set.

  • Jun 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: usbhid: fix deadlock in hid_post_reset() You can build a USB device that includes a HCVE-2026-53037 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: usbhid: fix deadlock in hid_post_reset() You can build a USB device that includes a HID component and a storage or UAS component. The components can be reset only together. That means that hid_pre_reset() and hid_post_reset() are in the block IO error handling. Hence no memory allocation used in them may do block IO because the IO can deadlock on the mutex held while resetting a device and calling the interface drivers. Use GFP_NOIO for all allocations in them.

  • Jun 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: fix potential NULL pointer deref in error path of ice_set_ringparam() ice_set_ringparCVE-2026-53007 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: fix potential NULL pointer deref in error path of ice_set_ringparam() ice_set_ringparam nullifies tstamp_ring of temporary tx_rings, without clearing ICE_TX_RING_FLAGS_TXTIME bit. When ICE_TX_RING_FLAGS_TXTIME is set and the subsequent ice_setup_tx_ring() call fails, a NULL pointer dereference could happen in the unwinding sequence: ice_clean_tx_ring() -> ice_is_txtime_cfg() == true (ICE_TX_RING_FLAGS_TXTIME is set) -> ice_free_tx_tstamp_ring() -> ice_free_tstamp_ring() -> tstamp_ring->desc (NULL deref) Clear ICE_TX_RING_FLAGS_TXTIME bit to avoid the potential issue. Note that this potential issue is found by manual code review. Compile test only since unfortunately I don't have E830 devices.

  • Jun 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: tls: fix strparser anchor skb leak on offload RX setup failure When tls_set_device_ofCVE-2026-52974 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: tls: fix strparser anchor skb leak on offload RX setup failure When tls_set_device_offload_rx() fails at tls_dev_add(), the error path calls tls_sw_free_resources_rx() to clean up the SW context that was initialized by tls_set_sw_offload(). This function calls tls_sw_release_resources_rx() (which stops the strparser via tls_strp_stop()) and tls_sw_free_ctx_rx() (which kfrees the context), but never frees the anchor skb that was allocated by alloc_skb(0) in tls_strp_init(). Note that tls_sw_free_resources_rx() is exclusively used for this "failed to start offload" code path, there's no other caller. The leak did not exist before commit 84c61fe1a75b ("tls: rx: do not use the standard strparser"), because the standard strparser doesn't try to pre-allocate an skb. The normal close path in tls_sk_proto_close() handles cleanup by calling tls_sw_strparser_done() (which calls tls_strp_done()) after dropping the socket lock, because tls_strp_done() does cancel_work_sync() and the strparser work handler takes the socket lock.

  • Jun 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: Reject wrapped offset in kvm_reset_dirty_gfn() kvm_reset_dirty_gfn() guards the gfn rCVE-2026-52969 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: Reject wrapped offset in kvm_reset_dirty_gfn() kvm_reset_dirty_gfn() guards the gfn range with if (!memslot || (offset + __fls(mask)) >= memslot->npages) return; but offset is u64 and the addition is unchecked. The check can be silently bypassed by a u64 wrap. The dirty ring backing those entries is MAP_SHARED at KVM_DIRTY_LOG_PAGE_OFFSET of the vcpu fd, so the VMM can rewrite the slot and offset fields of any entry between when the kernel pushes them and when KVM_RESET_DIRTY_RINGS consumes them. On reset, kvm_dirty_ring_reset() re-reads the values via READ_ONCE() and feeds them straight back into this check; only the flags handshake is treated as the handover, the slot/offset payload is taken on trust. Crafting two entries entry[i].offset = 0xffffffffffffffc1 entry[i+1].offset = 0 makes the coalescing loop in kvm_dirty_ring_reset() compute delta = (s64)(0 - 0xffffffffffffffc1) = 63 which falls in [0, BITS_PER_LONG), so it folds entry[i+1] into the existing mask by setting bit 63. The trailing kvm_reset_dirty_gfn() call then sees offset = 0xffffffffffffffc1 and __fls(mask) = 63; the sum is

  • Jun 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu: Fix WARN_ON in __iommu_group_set_domain_nofail() due to reset In __iommu_group_set_CVE-2026-52952 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 8.8

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu: Fix WARN_ON in __iommu_group_set_domain_nofail() due to reset In __iommu_group_set_domain_internal(), concurrent domain attachments are rejected when any device in the group is recovering. This is necessary to fence concurrent attachments to a multi-device group where devices might share the same RID due to PCI DMA alias quirks, but triggers the WARN_ON in __iommu_group_set_domain_nofail(). Other IOMMU_SET_DOMAIN_MUST_SUCCEED callers in detach/teardown paths, such as __iommu_group_set_core_domain and __iommu_release_dma_ownership, should not be rejected, as the domain would be freed anyway in these nofail paths while group->domain is still pointing to it. So pci_dev_reset_iommu_done() could trigger a UAF when re-attaching group->domain. Honor the IOMMU_SET_DOMAIN_MUST_SUCCEED flag, allowing the callers through the group->recovery_cnt fence, so as to update the group->domain pointer. Instead add a gdev->blocked check in the device iteration loop, to prevent any concurrent per-device detachment.

  • Jun 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: fix FSCTL permission bypass by adding a permission check for FSCTL_SET_SPARSE FSCTLCVE-2026-52944 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67Medium 5.5

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: fix FSCTL permission bypass by adding a permission check for FSCTL_SET_SPARSE FSCTL_SET_SPARSE in fsctl_set_sparse() modifies the file's sparse attribute and saves it through xattr without any permission checks. This exposes two issues: 1) A client on a read-only share can change the sparse attribute on files it opened, even though the share is read-only. Other FSCTL write operations already check test_tree_conn_flag(work->tcon, KSMBD_TREE_CONN_FLAG_WRITABLE), but FSCTL_SET_SPARSE does not. 2) Even on writable shares, clients without FILE_WRITE_DATA or FILE_WRITE_ATTRIBUTES access should not modify the sparse attribute. Similar handle-level checks exist in other functions but are missing here. Add both share-level writable check and per-handle access check. Use goto out on error to avoid leaking file references.

  • Jun 24, 2026In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_log: validate MAC header was set before dumping it The fallback path of dumpCVE-2026-52942 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.1

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_log: validate MAC header was set before dumping it The fallback path of dump_mac_header() guards the MAC header access only with "skb->mac_header != skb->network_header", without checking skb_mac_header_was_set(). When the MAC header is unset, mac_header is 0xffff, so the test passes and skb_mac_header(skb) returns skb->head + 0xffff, ~64 KiB past the buffer; the loop then reads dev->hard_header_len bytes out of bounds into the kernel log. This is reachable via the netdev logger: nf_log_unknown_packet() calls dump_mac_header() unconditionally, and an skb sent through AF_PACKET with PACKET_QDISC_BYPASS reaches the egress hook with mac_header still unset (__dev_queue_xmit(), which would reset it, is bypassed). Add the skb_mac_header_was_set() check the ARPHRD_ETHER path already uses, and replace the open-coded MAC header length test with skb_mac_header_len(). Only skbs with an unset MAC header are affected; valid ones are dumped as before. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: ipset: stop hash:* range iteration at end The following hash set variants: hash:ip,mark hash:ip,port hash:ip,port,ip hash:ip,port, net iterate IPv4 ranges with a 32-bit iterator. The iterator must stop once the last address in the requested range has been processed. Advancing it once more can move the traversal state past the end of the request, so a later retry may continue from an unintended position. Handle the iterator increment explicitly at the end of the loop and stop once the upper bound has been processed. This keeps the existing retry behaviour intact for valid ranges while preventing traversal from continuing past the original boundary.

Improperly Controlled Modification of Dynamically-Determined Object Attributes vulnerability in ash-project ash allows a user to set the value of a private action argument that is intended to be controlled only by trusted server-side code. Action arguments declared with public?: false are meant to be set internally (for example via Ash.Changeset.set_private_argument/3) and must not be settable from end-user input. When a changeset is built from a parameter map, Ash filters out private arguments, but the filtering is incomplete. In the regular changeset path (for_create, for_update, for_destroy), private arguments are stripped only when the parameter key is an atom. When the key is a binary (string), as is the case for user-supplied parameters, the private argument is kept and the user controls its value. In the atomic path (Ash.Changeset.fully_atomic_changeset/4, also reached through atomic and bulk updates), private arguments are not stripped at all, regardless of whether the key is an atom or a binary. An attacker who can submit parameters to an action that defines a private argument can therefore inject a value for that argument. Depending on how the application uses the argu

Hono before 4.12.12 does not validate cookie names on the write path in the setCookie(), serialize(), and serializeSigned() functions, allowing invalid characters such as control characters (e.g. \r or \n) when an application passes a user-controlled cookie name. This can produce malformed Set-Cookie header values. In modern runtimes such as Node.js and Cloudflare Workers, such invalid header values are rejected and cause a runtime error before the response is sent, so header injection or response splitting could not be reproduced; the issue primarily affects correctness and robustness, resulting in runtime errors (availability) rather than confirmed header injection.

bt_iso_recv() in subsys/bluetooth/host/iso.c pulled the ISO SDU header (4 bytes) or, when the timestamp flag is set, the timestamped SDU header (8 bytes) from the inbound HCI ISO Data buffer via net_buf_pull_mem() without first checking buf->len. The upstream hci_iso() handler enforces buf->len == the controller-declared ISO Data_Load length, so a malicious or buggy controller / adjacent BLE peer on an established CIS/BIS can present a first-fragment (BT_ISO_START) or single (BT_ISO_SINGLE) PDU shorter than the SDU header. Because net_buf_simple_pull_mem only guards length with __ASSERT_NO_MSG (compiled out when CONFIG_ASSERT is disabled, the production default), the pull underflows buf->len (uint16_t, e.g. 0 - 8 = 0xFFF8) and advances buf->data past valid data: the subsequent reads of hdr->slen and hdr->sn are out-of-bounds reads of adjacent pool memory. For the multi-fragment (START) case the corrupted buffer is retained as iso->rx, and a following CONT/END fragment's net_buf_tailroom() guard underflows to a near-SIZE_MAX value, defeating the bounds check and causing net_buf_add_mem() to memcpy attacker-supplied fragment data far past the RX pool buffer (out-of-bounds write). NLTK (Natural Language Toolkit) is a suite of open source Python modules, data sets, and tutorials supporting research and development in Natural Language Processing. Prior to 3.10.0-rc1, nltk.data.load() in NLTK is vulnerable to path traversal via URL-encoded path separators and traversal segments when using the nltk: URL scheme. The unsafe-path regex check is performed before url2pathname() decodes the %xx sequences (a classic decode-after-check / TOCTOU-style flaw), allowing an attacker to bypass the protection documented in NLTK's SECURITY.md and read arbitrary files from the filesystem. While literal traversal strings such as ../../../etc/passwd are correctly blocked, encoded variants such as %2fetc%2fpasswd, %2e%2e%2f..., and ..%2f..%2f slip past the regex and are subsequently decoded into a real filesystem path. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.10.0-rc1.

MISP allowed an authenticated site administrator to set the Kafka_rdkafka_config setting to an arbitrary filesystem path. MISP subsequently parsed the referenced INI file and passed its options to rdkafka. A crafted attacker-controlled configuration file could use rdkafka options such as plugin.library.paths to load an external library, resulting in arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the MISP process. An attacker could leverage a MISP-writable location, such as an uploaded file or administrative image, to host the malicious configuration file. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: scope conn->binding slowpath to bound sessions only When the binding SESSION_SETUP sets conn->binding = true, the flag stays set after the call so that the global session lookup in ksmbd_session_lookup_all() can find the session, which was not added to conn->sessions. Because the flag is connection-wide, the global lookup path will also resolve any other session by id if asked. Tighten the global lookup so that the returned session must have this connection registered in its channel xarray (sess->ksmbd_chann_list). The channel entry is installed by the existing binding_session path in ntlm_authenticate()/krb5_authenticate() when a SESSION_SETUP completes successfully, so this condition is a strict equivalent of "this connection has been accepted as a channel of this session". Connections that have not bound to a given session cannot reach it via the global table. The existing conn->binding gate for entering the slowpath is preserved so that non-binding connections keep the fast-path-only behavior, and the session->state check is unchanged.

PHP Standard Library (PSL) is set of APIs covering async, collections, networking, I/O, cryptography, terminal UI, etc. In versions 6.1.0, 6.1.1 and 6.2.0, the Psl\H2\ServerConnection does not validate that the total bytes received in DATA frames match the content-length header declared in the HEADERS frame, allowing request smuggling. This is in violation of RFC 9113 §8.1.1. A malicious client is able to send more DATA bytes than declared, smuggling additional content past application-level size limits and send fewer DATA bytes than declared and close the stream early, causing applications that trust the declared length to behave incorrectly. The vulnerability is only reachable for consumers using Psl\H2\ServerConnection directly to accept untrusted client traffic. Consumers of documented high-level PSL APIs are not affected. • Jun 17, 2026Impact: undici's cookie parser in parseSetCookie percent-decodes cookie values via qsUnescape, turning encoded sequences like %0D%0A, %00, %3B, and %3D into theCVE-2026-9679 · Other software · undici · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbMedium 5.9

Impact: undici's cookie parser in parseSetCookie percent-decodes cookie values via qsUnescape, turning encoded sequences like %0D%0A, %00, %3B, and %3D into their literal byte equivalents. RFC 6265 §5.4 does not specify any decoding and browsers do not decode either. Applications that parse a Set-Cookie header and then forward the parsed value into a response header (proxies, middleware, SSR frameworks) become vulnerable to HTTP response header injection: an attacker-controlled upstream can inject arbitrary Set-Cookie, Location, or Cache-Control headers into the application's downstream response, enabling session fixation, open redirect, or cache poisoning. Affected applications are those that use undici's cookie parsing (parseSetCookie, parseCookie, getSetCookies) and forward the parsed cookie value into a response header. This was introduced in undici 7.0.0 via PR #3789. Patches: Upgrade to undici v6.26.0, v7.28.0 or v8.5.0. Workarounds: If upgrade is not immediately possible, do not forward values returned by parseSetCookie/parseCookie/getSetCookies directly into response headers; sanitize the value first to strip or reject CR, LF, NUL, ;, and = bytes.

  • Jun 17, 2026Impact: When undici parses a Set-Cookie header, it accepts any SameSite attribute value that contains Strict, Lax, or None as a substring, rather than the case-CVE-2026-11525 · Other software · undici · reported by ce714d77-add3-4f53-aff5-83d477b104bbLow 3.7

Impact: When undici parses a Set-Cookie header, it accepts any SameSite attribute value that contains Strict, Lax, or None as a substring, rather than the case-insensitive exact match specified by RFC 6265. Non-spec values are silently mapped to one of the three standard tokens. For example, SameSite=NoneOfYourBusiness is parsed as None (the most permissive setting), and SameSite=StrictLax is parsed as Lax (a downgrade from Strict). Affected applications are those that consume Set-Cookie headers from server responses (for example via undici's fetch or proxy code paths) and then forward or rely on the parsed sameSite attribute. A malicious or non-compliant server can coerce the consumer's view of a cookie's SameSite policy to a weaker value, silently degrading the SameSite enforcement the cookie is supposed to provide. This was introduced in undici 5.15.0 when the cookies feature was added. Patches: Upgrade to undici v6.26.0, v7.28.0 or v8.5.0. Workarounds: After parsing a Set-Cookie header, validate that the resulting sameSite attribute is one of 'Strict', 'Lax', or 'None' (exact, case-insensitive) before forwarding or relying on it.
