In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: lpfc: Use memcpy() for BIOS version The strlcat() with FORTIFY support is triggering a panic because it thinks the target buffer will overflow although the correct target buffer size is passed in. Anyway, instead of memset() with 0 followed by a strlcat(), just use memcpy() and ensure that the resulting buffer is NULL terminated. BIOSVersion is only used for the lpfc_printf_log() which expects a properly terminated string.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: block: don't use submit_bio_noacct_nocheck in blk_zone_wplug_bio_work Bios queued up in the zone write plug have already gone through all all preparation in the submit_bio path, including the freeze protection. Submitting them through submit_bio_noacct_nocheck duplicates the work and can can cause deadlocks when freezing a queue with pending bio write plugs. Go straight to ->submit_bio or blk_mq_submit_bio to bypass the superfluous extra freeze protection and checks.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: only dirty folios when data journaling regular files fstest generic/388 occasionally reproduces a crash that looks as follows: BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000000 ... Call Trace: <TASK> ext4_block_zero_page_range+0x30c/0x380 [ext4] ext4_truncate+0x436/0x440 [ext4] ext4_process_orphan+0x5d/0x110 [ext4] ext4_orphan_cleanup+0x124/0x4f0 [ext4] ext4_fill_super+0x262d/0x3110 [ext4] get_tree_bdev_flags+0x132/0x1d0 vfs_get_tree+0x26/0xd0 vfs_cmd_create+0x59/0xe0 __do_sys_fsconfig+0x4ed/0x6b0 do_syscall_64+0x82/0x170 ... This occurs when processing a symlink inode from the orphan list. The partial block zeroing code in the truncate path calls ext4_dirty_journalled_data() -> folio_mark_dirty(). The latter calls mapping->a_ops->dirty_folio(), but symlink inodes are not assigned an a_ops vector in ext4, hence the crash. To avoid this problem, update the ext4_dirty_journalled_data() helper to only mark the folio dirty on regular files (for which a_ops is assigned). This also matches the journaling logic in the ext4_symlink() creation path, where ext4_handle_dirty_metadata() is

Jul 3, 2025wire-ios is an iOS client for the Wire secure messaging application.CVE-2025-49846 · Other software · wireapp · reported by GitHubMedium 4.1
wire-ios is an iOS client for the Wire secure messaging application. From Wire iOS 3.111.1 to before 3.124.1, messages that were visible in the view port have been logged to the iOS system logs in clear text. Wire application logs created and managed by the application itself were not affected, especially not the logs users can export and send to Wire support. The iOS logs can only be accessed if someone had (physical) access to the underlying unlocked device. The issue manifested itself by calling canOpenUrl() and passing an invalid URL object. When iOS then performs the check and fails, it logs the contents to the system log. This is not documented behaviour. Wire released an emergency fix with version 3.124.1. As a workaround, users can reset their iOS device to remove the offending logs. Since Wire cannot access or modify iOS system logs, there's no other workaround other than a reset.

Jun 26, 2025iOS Simulator MCP Server (ios-simulator-mcp) is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for interacting with iOS simulators.CVE-2025-52573 · Other software · joshuayoes · reported by GitHubMedium 6
iOS Simulator MCP Server (ios-simulator-mcp) is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for interacting with iOS simulators. Versions prior to 1.3.3 are written in a way that is vulnerable to command injection vulnerability attacks as part of some of its MCP Server tool definition and implementation. The MCP Server exposes the tool `ui_tap` which relies on Node.js child process API `exec` which is an unsafe and vulnerable API if concatenated with untrusted user input. LLM exposed user input for `duration`, `udid`, and `x` and `y` args can be replaced with shell meta-characters like `;` or `&&` or others to change the behavior from running the expected command `idb` to another command. When LLMs are tricked through prompt injection (and other techniques and attack vectors) to call the tool with input that uses special shell characters such as `; rm -rf /tmp;#` and other payload variations, the full command-line text will be interepted by the shell and result in other commands except of `ps` executing on the host running the MCP Server. Version 1.3.3 contains a patch for the issue.

May 20, 2025In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: irqchip/qcom-mpm: Prevent crash when trying to handle non-wake GPIOs On Qualcomm chipsets CVE-2025-37901 · Computers, phones & browsers · Linux · reported by 416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67High 7.8
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: irqchip/qcom-mpm: Prevent crash when trying to handle non-wake GPIOs On Qualcomm chipsets not all GPIOs are wakeup capable. Those GPIOs do not have a corresponding MPM pin and should not be handled inside the MPM driver. The IRQ domain hierarchy is always applied, so it's required to explicitly disconnect the hierarchy for those. The pinctrl-msm driver marks these with GPIO_NO_WAKE_IRQ. qcom-pdc has a check for this, but irq-qcom-mpm is currently missing the check. This is causing crashes when setting up interrupts for non-wake GPIOs: root@rb1:~# gpiomon -c gpiochip1 10 irq: IRQ159: trimming hierarchy from :soc@0:interrupt-controller@f200000-1 Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address ffff8000a1dc3820 Hardware name: Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. Where this comes from: the exploited list is CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog. Everything else is the whole National Vulnerability Database, where each record is published by the team that found the bug (Wordfence, Patchstack, WPScan, the vendors themselves and others); we show who. Exploit odds are FIRST’s EPSS, updated daily. Titles and categories are ours, so check the linked record before acting on a detail. For a write-up of the big ones, see our advisories. Every vendor, and every WordPress plugin and theme with a recorded flaw, also has its own page. All of it is free to reuse as JSON, CSV or RSS.
